  1. So here is a quick demonstration of how motion aiming works. At the bottom of the screen you can see an animated visualization of my NEXUS controller. Not only will it display all my analog sticks and button presses in real-time, but it will also show you the direction I'm pointing my controller, and it's tilt.
  2. Now when I activate motion aiming, my crosshair will accurately move according to my controller position. To signify that motion aiming is active, you will see a red glow around the handles of the animated controller. The actual physical controller handles will of course not glow, but you can choose to have a minor controller rumble to notify you of motion activation and deactivation.

  4. In the following accuracy demonstration, I will use an aim trainer from Overwatch. One of the hardest tasks when using analog sticks is to make precise diagonal or vertical aiming adjustments. But through motion aiming, this will become incredibly easy, due to the high precision of the NEXUS Motion Engine. XIM NEXUS uses the same precision aim-translation technology, as XIM's console mouse and keyboard products. Even more, you can also apply this to your analog aiming sticks. So you can customize your analog stick aim, to make it feel, however you want to.
  5.
  6. Also, the character I'm playing right now has a noticeable vertical weapon recoil, which I will have to compensate for, while shooting.
  7.
  8. Here you can see an example clip of how well you can aim, and track targets, with the NEXUS' motion aiming. By the way, all clips in this video have been recorded by using only motion aiming. So the analog sticks of the controller are not being used in these clips.
