- On March 1st, 2016, exactly 9 years ago today, I first set the Mike Tyson's Punch-Out Single Segment world record. As luck would have it, I've held that record nonstop ever since. The WR time was 15:42.70, while the current WR is 14:46.48.
- That first WR will always mean a lot to me, since it kind of kicked off my journey into speedrun content creation. I'm not sure I would have ever started YouTube if I didn't set that record.
- Today, I'm going to play back my VHS copy of that WR on stream, commentating over it and seeing how the run has changed. Then, I'm going to do some attempts to break the current WR - if I'm unable to, then hopefully I'll still be able to beat my first WR time of 15:42. Let's see how it goes!
