  1. [2014-01-03 14:52:13] * Thomas_OMalley looks about the strange and interesting store, looking around for some dresses that might interest Flora... and complement her figure in a way that might attract Midnight Bliss.
  2. [2014-01-03 14:53:54] * Flora_Bloom is also searching through the store, for a dress, but also for anything odd and intruiging for her.
  3. [2014-01-03 14:54:26] * GreatAndPowerfulGM the shops offered dresses and gowns are mostly the sort that would have no problem catching anyponies eyes with there interesting colors, designs, and odd patterns. Many many styles of atire are on display for Thomas or Flora to insterst.
  4. [2014-01-03 14:55:59] * GreatAndPowerfulGM Other nick nacks fill the shelves and adorn the walls, Star charts, smokey glass orbs, viles of potions, fuzzy dice, items range from mismatched bobbles to mystical items of questionable use and orgin.
  5. [2014-01-03 14:56:33] * Flora_Bloom in the dresses department searches for something more, nature styled for herself, she also looks for anything flower related, because flowers are pretty.
  6. [2014-01-03 14:57:01] * Thomas_OMalley thinks for a moment, and then looks to a simple dress, one that looks like it might be inspired by a military outfit. The batpony does keep glancing at the shelves of odd nick nacks, though he does shy away from them.
  7. [2014-01-03 14:57:25] * GreatAndPowerfulGM the owner leans from behind her counter and watches the two ponies inspect her wares, "Do let me know if you find anything, and as I said before the house speciatly is futune telling"
  8. [2014-01-03 14:59:51] * GreatAndPowerfulGM Flora finds a few, a vibrant green summer dress with a sunflower pendant.. A Cannary yellow vest with floral paterns, and a third outfit that looked as if designed for high social occasions with a range of colors from pale blue to light green that all seem to scream spring!

[2014-01-03 15:11:47] <GreatAndPowerfulGM> ACTION Thomas Omalley passes by a section seemingly dedicated to constellations and such and happens to spot a belt muckle picturing his cutie mark, the Libra constellation. Meanwhile as Flora looks at the two lovely gowns she spots something out of the corner of her eye behind the counter over the shop owners sholder on a shelf of expensive looking things, a hoof carved box featuring intricate vine and flowers in its design,
  12. [2014-01-03 15:16:10] * Thomas_OMalley whistles at the buckle, walking over to examine it closer. He'll even pick it up, if he can, to get a better look at it.
  13. [2014-01-03 15:16:19] * Flora_Bloom keeps the sunflower looking dress as she goes and looks at the box. "Excuse me ma'am, what is inside that box?"
  14. [2014-01-03 15:17:24] * GreatAndPowerfulGM the buckle is out and can easily be picked up to be inspected. It appears to be cast steel and pre-war in design while the actual pater is a more recently added paint job.
  15. [2014-01-03 15:19:05] * GreatAndPowerfulGM The shop keeper smiles as Flora Approches with the dress, before she can ask if she can ring her up however she is interupted by Floras question. Turning she follows her costomers gaze to the polished wood box. "Oh that? Why that is something very special"
  16. [2014-01-03 15:19:27] * Thomas_OMalley smiles and picks up the buckle, getting a feel for its weight. "Dis might bring me a bit of luck..." The bat pony wanders over to Flora and the shopkeeper, to see what has caught her eye.

"Why right now all it dose is wait, for somepony to come allong and appreciate its potential". Smiling the mare sets it down the box and blows the dust off of it,
  21. [2014-01-03 15:24:56] * Flora_Bloom reaches down. "Oh? What's the story behind the box ma'am, if I may ask?"
  22. [2014-01-03 15:25:41] * Thomas_OMalley raises an eyebrow at the box and then the shop keeper. His tufted ears twitch at the idea of a story. Hopefully it isn't something moodee.
  23. [2014-01-03 15:29:08] * GreatAndPowerfulGM leans over it and pushes it forwad closer to Flora, "I dont mind, its not to grand of a story. Like many of my more... interesting items I procured this from a traveler. Since then It has been right there on that shelf, waiting for whoever was ment to purchase it to come along. The box itself is not much the facinating part, but what inside of it"

  25. [2014-01-03 15:30:35] <Thomas_OMalley> A small smile creeps onto Thomas's face. The shop keeper is doing a masterful job of selling Flora on this particular item.
  26. [2014-01-03 15:32:14] * GreatAndPowerfulGM Grins playfully, tapping her chin. "What is inside the box you ask? Hummm, well I suppose the same thing that resides in all unopend boxes". Leaning back she waves a hoof in the air, looking distant as if spying something that is beyond anypony ells vission. "Potential!". Looking back she settles down, stiffling a laugh she points to the box, "But why dont you open it up and see for yourself"

[2014-01-03 15:38:26] * GreatAndPowerfulGM the carved wood box opens to reveal a plush emerald green pillow, upon witch rests what is the single largest seed Flora has ever seen before, the huge seed is cotton candy pink with a natural swirling texture. Misty just smiles, "Like I pormised, the box contains potential itself!"

I have an eye for such things you know, the sort that only one who is in touch with the great unkown as I can". Reaching up she slowely closes the lid. "I will tell you what, I shall make a deal with you"

  56. [2014-01-03 16:14:52] * Flora_Bloom takes and closes the box, stepping into the backroom as well, intrigued by the seed. She'll probably spend much time studying it to find the perfect climate for it before planting it

Leaning forward she inspects the rise and fall and bumps in your hoof, brushing her own over it as she studies it. "I see... hummm I see a long road behind you, and a longer before you. I cannot see wethere ruin or victory await you but I can see many wonderous things along the way, magnificent to behond. A great journy, one of self discovery, this is what I see"

[2014-01-03 16:26:23] * GreatAndPowerfulGM smiles, "It seems that much of your future is still undecided.... there are so many foces around you, I would advice you to consider well the choices to come for as many that effect you I see that soon you shall be in a position to effect many many times that number". Pulling back her hooves she motions for Thomas to present his hoof.

  71. [2014-01-03 16:35:48] * Thomas_OMalley blinks, his serious face broken by her pronouncement. "Tank you ma cherie... ma chagren, but is dere anyting I can do to help you? You seem flustered." The batpony looks very concerned. He does put the buckle in his bag, though.

She herself steps to the otherside and holds out a hoof, looking a bit bizzar as she just stands there with hoof raised.

  75. [2014-01-03 16:40:21] * Flora_Bloom sighs as she trots past Thomas_OMalley, whispering in his ear. "Be careful, that smile's a deadly weapon." She says to him, waiting by the door now.

Not but just a few moments after the words leave her mouth dose the building shake as a distant boom rocks makes the shop rumble. A small snow globe falls of a shelf and lands in the exact center of Mistys hoof, smiling she turns and puts it back. "As I said very busy, you should be off now dont you think? I shall see you again at some poin though, of this im sure"

He takes her hoof and gently kisses it. "Till we meet again, ma cherie..." And with that, Thomas turns and follows Flora out of the shop.

  99. [2014-01-03 16:51:50] * Cap_Rat dashes to the lower decks, barging in to the captive mare's room. "What is your next target here. Tell me, now!" glaring at her from very close
  100. [2014-01-03 16:52:01] * GreatAndPowerfulGM a small bloom of smoke rises from near the Academys school house at one of its many converted dometory buildings.
  101. [2014-01-03 16:52:39] * The_Blossom frowns. "No." She says, rushing towards some of the easier, less crowded ways to get there.
  102. [2014-01-03 16:52:57] * Thomas_OMalley stuffs the suit in his saddle bags, grabbing his saddle and starting to get at the straps as he begins to fly. He flies straight there, looking to try and get there quickly.
  103. [2014-01-03 16:52:58] * GreatAndPowerfulGM Captain fathom is siting next to the injured mare and looks a bit suprised to see Cap. the mare cringes, "We dont have I swear, just what was on the ship!"

  105. [2014-01-03 16:56:03] * Midnight_Bliss follows Gerlinde, doing a final check of her weapon before decideing to go into stealth flying formation

[2014-01-03 16:57:17] <GreatAndPowerfulGM> One of the Dorm buildings is currently being croweded by a stream of students and other town ponies who have gathered to watch the now smoldering crater in the side of the three story brick building. a prewar fire truck with two pegasus ponies on top working cloud pumps fires a steady stream of water out of hoses af the building. A small team of NCR soldires stands outside keeping a baracade holding the rabble out.

[2014-01-03 16:58:18] * GreatAndPowerfulGM the other captive is now awake but clickly closes her eyes as she spots cap. the first shakes her head, "This was teh only objective I or she knows about I swear! Nitro might have other stuff, hes secretive like that, but he never said anything to us!"
  108. [2014-01-03 16:59:07] * The_Blossom stops, looking around instead for anypony conspicuous. If there was no crimiminal right at the scene, they might be watching.
  109. [2014-01-03 16:59:32] * Thomas_OMalley flies around the perimeter, looking at the building and how stable... or possibly unstable it might become.
  110. [2014-01-03 17:00:16] * Gerlinde flies around and looks for someone to beat up!

[2014-01-03 17:01:49] <GreatAndPowerfulGM> The group in the streets is to distracted by the efforts of the fire ponies to notice the Blossom but a certain detail is not beyond the notice of the blossom. Meanwhile from a very stealthy cloud above Midnight is able to make out what was clearly a shaped charge judging from the lack of structural damage, the fire most likely some sort of chemical propelant for effect.
  112. [2014-01-03 17:02:12] * Cap_Rat shakes his head. "This can't be random. What were your orders, verbatim?"
  113. [2014-01-03 17:03:04] * Heartmend gallops up to the sean looking for wounded ponies "Let me through I'm a doctor."
  114. [2014-01-03 17:03:17] * The_Blossom rushes down a side alley, moving into the not well noticed open grate.
  115. [2014-01-03 17:04:47] * GreatAndPowerfulGM Fathom nods to the mare, "just tell em lass". The mare nods, "Ok... Nitro said we were to come and collect the contents of a shipment coming to town. That was the word from Z, we showed up a few weeks back and have been waiting on you since then. Me and Stream here mostly hung out at the boat but Nitro started digging, around like he usually dose"
  116. [2014-01-03 17:05:46] * Cap_Rat raises an eyebrow. "Where?"
  117. [2014-01-03 17:06:11] * Gerlinde follows The Blossom. Surely the hero will find something fun to beat on!
  118. [2014-01-03 17:06:14] * Gerlinde is not quiet.
  119. [2014-01-03 17:06:18] * Midnight_Bliss narrows her eyes at the scene "This isn't right...that explosion doesn't fit with one that would be aiming for maximum destruction" she turns her head back to the boat "Chances of distraction...very likley"
  120. [2014-01-03 17:06:20] * GreatAndPowerfulGM A NCR officer moves to stop Heartmend but then nods, "Alright if you can help the medics over there that would be a huge help, but if I hear your getting in the way Ill have to move you back outside the barracade". Nearby a small group of doctors works on a hoof ful of injured ponies on stretchers.
  121. [2014-01-03 17:06:25] <Thomas_OMalley> Satisfied with the buildings integrity, Thomas tries to spot The_Blossom to regroup.
  122. [2014-01-03 17:07:06] * GreatAndPowerfulGM the blossom finds a pony sized grate which has ben opend, a stray crowbard lies nearby.
  123. [2014-01-03 17:07:10] * Heartmend quikly trots to the nearest wounded and gets to work "It's ok I can help." as she digs through her bags
  124. [2014-01-03 17:08:20] * The_Blossom dives down into the grate, ready to follow and engage any villian inside
  125. [2014-01-03 17:08:26] * Midnight_Bliss flaps her wings and begins to fly over the streets back towards the boat, eyes scanning below for any suspicious activity
  126. [2014-01-03 17:08:47] * Thomas_OMalley flies after Gerlinde. He isn't as fast as the griffin is, but he can at least keep up and keep her in sight.
  127. [2014-01-03 17:08:50] * Gerlinde flies down and follows through the grate. "Sup, Blossom."
  128. [2014-01-03 17:09:28] * GreatAndPowerfulGM The doctors around Heartmend nod and give there thanks for the help, most seem to be as Heartmend just passerbys with medical training who rushed in to help, likely all either medical students or teachers from the school. The on hoof supplies are not grand but fortunately most of the injuries dont seem to dangerous so long as treated soon.
  129. [2014-01-03 17:10:22] <GreatAndPowerfulGM> Midnight Bliss mostely just sees mild panic in the streets as well as a doubling of visible NCR guards moving about.
  130. [2014-01-03 17:11:25] * GreatAndPowerfulGM the Mare grimecies, "Mostely with the dock athorities, I think he wanted to know whos stuff we were stealing or something. Started to get really interested in it, said some proffesor ordered it, we guessed there most be some pricy antique in all that junk maybe"

  133. [2014-01-03 17:12:30] * GreatAndPowerfulGM The blossom lands barrel deep in cold water as she hits the bottom of the storm drain, one of the many in town that run directy into the river.
  134. [2014-01-03 17:12:53] * Midnight_Bliss flys back to the boat, landing on the gangplank and looking around for suspicious activity from this end
  135. [2014-01-03 17:13:23] * GreatAndPowerfulGM Hidnight hears conversation from below deck.
  136. [2014-01-03 17:13:45] * The_Blossom shivers in the water as she looks up. "I found this place open! Come with me if you can!" She says, rushing down towards the river as quick as she can.
  137. [2014-01-03 17:14:09] * Gerlinde nodnods, talons at the ready as she follows the mare.
  138. [2014-01-03 17:14:17] * Midnight_Bliss hears the talk and hurries below deck, listening carefully and remaining hidden
  139. [2014-01-03 17:15:09] * GreatAndPowerfulGM Midnight overhears Cap questioning the mare once again.
  140. [2014-01-03 17:15:27] * Cap_Rat nods. "Hm, now we are getting somewhere. What did he find out? Names? Places? Anything odd?"
  141. [2014-01-03 17:15:29] * Thomas_OMalley hovers over the storm drain, popping his head inside for a moment... and then shakes his head. He grabs the crowbar and flies toward the river. Faster than slogging through the water.
  142. [2014-01-03 17:16:33] * GreatAndPowerfulGM Blossom and all who dashed down the drain spot calk markings on the wall, an arrow pointed up at the drain with the words "TextBook, Room 203" near it
  143. [2014-01-03 17:19:51] * GreatAndPowerfulGM starts to sweat once again, "Ummm... I think I remember his name, Something about a book a I think... Hidden something or other. Nitro had time to kill so he started doign what he dose best, scheming. its his favorite pastime really. Started talking about the old man, his daughter, and kept going on and on about stuff, we mostly just ignored him"
  144. [2014-01-03 17:21:23] * GreatAndPowerfulGM the other pony sputers in, "He was just like that, you know? -ouch- umm... really sneaky. But then all of a sudden he started talking about seeing the big picture, something the coot from the academy was working on..."
  145. [2014-01-03 17:21:50] * Thomas_OMalley scans the city below him, looking for any suspicious characters that might be carrying explosives as he flies toward the river.
  146. [2014-01-03 17:22:28] * Midnight_Bliss listens carefully, she can almost respect this Nitro if he wasn't trying to ruin her mission
  147. [2014-01-03 17:24:00] * The_Blossom countinues down the slosh, remembering those chalk drawings for later
  148. [2014-01-03 17:24:36] * GreatAndPowerfulGM The ponies in the storm drain hear a high pitched beeping grow in speed and volume as the blossom snaps some sort of cord strung out across the tunnel.
  149. [2014-01-03 17:27:59] * Cap_Rat gives the mare a smirk of pity and turns to the other. "So, what is the real plan here? What is the role of this professor?" His glance stops briefly on the captain as he asks.
  150. [2014-01-03 17:28:17] * The_Blossom curses and starts to rush through the water as fast as she can. "Come on!" She shouts to Gerlinde
  151. [2014-01-03 17:28:43] * Gerlinde 's eyes twitch at the sound. "Go!" she shouts, wings thrusting her forward, and hopefully ahead of the explosion.
  152. [2014-01-03 17:30:10] * GreatAndPowerfulGM Blossom and Gerlinde dive out of teh leathal range of the gernades that fall from the cealing of the tunnel, taking minimum damage. It seems Nitro didnt want anypony following him.
  153. [2014-01-03 17:30:33] <GreatAndPowerfulGM> Thomas dosent see but hears more rumbling, this time from below the street.
  154. [2014-01-03 17:30:50] * The_Blossom curses as she cringes from the wounds. "That villian. Now we certainly must catch him." She keeps moving on. "If anything, this is good news. He delayed to set those up."
  155. [2014-01-03 17:30:57] * Thomas_OMalley frowns at that and continues toward the river. That's not a good sign...
  156. [2014-01-03 17:30:59] <The_Blossom> "Keep an eye out for more."
  157. [2014-01-03 17:32:17] <GreatAndPowerfulGM> The mare rubs her tender and swollen head, "I dont know about that, but Nitro sure thought he had it figured out. Went out one night alone, came back later in a pissy mood... all he told us was that it was a dead end, just like that he drops it. All he told us after that was that we would finish the job and get the stuff to Z. Not sure what happened that night but he has been in a bad mood since"
  158. [2014-01-03 17:32:52] * Gerlinde growls, nodding. "Yeah." Her feathers are ruffled.
  159. [2014-01-03 17:33:41] <The_Blossom> "We're not killing him." She says to Gerlinde. "We're capturing. Then you can punch him all you like, just don't kill him." She tells the griffin, moving through the muck
  160. [2014-01-03 17:33:57] * Gerlinde frowns, shaking her head. "Why not?"
  161. [2014-01-03 17:34:24] * GreatAndPowerfulGM Heartmend finishes disenfecting and bandaging the last of the burn victems just as the remainder of the students are shown from the building. The flames have been stoped and the fire truck is rolling the hoses back up while fire ponies inspect the building. From a nearby alley however comes a loud echoy crack from a storm drain.
  162. [2014-01-03 17:35:29] <The_Blossom> "Because, we need information about all of this." She says. "And dead bodies don't talk."
  163. [2014-01-03 17:35:29] * Heartmend helping the wounded with speed and skill "Well what was that?" as she puts her things away
  164. [2014-01-03 17:36:31] * GreatAndPowerfulGM NCR officer move in to investigate, one of the other doctors whipes her hooves clean of blood, "Sounded like another explosion, smaller this time but still three in one day! What is going on here today?"
  165. [2014-01-03 17:36:40] * Cap_Rat just shakes his head. If that was the end of it, there wouldnt be a need for such desperate attack. "Any idea where he went?"
  166. [2014-01-03 17:37:05] * Gerlinde sighs, rolling her eyes. "Fiiiine."
  167. [2014-01-03 17:37:43] * Thomas_OMalley continues to look for suspicious characters as he flies to the river.
  168. [2014-01-03 17:38:36] * The_Blossom countinues down the tunnel, looking for additional traps and any figures
  169. [2014-01-03 17:39:05] * GreatAndPowerfulGM teh mare bit her lip and looks to the other, "Weeeeell.... hes probably going with Plan B, hes famous for those. See he always said its important to have back up plans to make sure a job is done, not that he ever enlightend us but I do know he was ferriting away supplies. My guess is hes trying to make a clean break, not so much from you but Z..."
  170. [2014-01-03 17:39:29] * Heartmend cleans up and gives well wishes to the other medical ponies, then moves to the grate looking out for the rest of her group
  171. [2014-01-03 17:40:00] * Gerlinde keeps a few inches off of the ground, flying behind Blossom.
  172. [2014-01-03 17:41:31] * Midnight_Bliss listens carefully before heading back above deck, Plenty of character information but nothing effective to the current situation
  173. [2014-01-03 17:41:54] * GreatAndPowerfulGM NCR huddle around the grate and are talking into radios, waiting for orders. The tunnel is now mostely silent. meanwhile inside said tunnel The Blossom and Gerlinde reach the end where the water empties out into the river. Down below are a few empty boxes and a loose stake with a rope where a boat may have once been tied off. Also nearby is some discarded diving equipment.
  174. [2014-01-03 17:42:41] * The_Blossom gives a long sigh. "Gerlinde, do you think you can fly carrying me?" She asks. "We need to find that boat."
  175. [2014-01-03 17:43:13] * GreatAndPowerfulGM Heartmend overhears one of her patients calling out.
  176. [2014-01-03 17:44:16] * Gerlinde purses her beak, thinking. After a moment, she nods. "Well... I can try."
  177. [2014-01-03 17:44:17] * Cap_Rat shakes his head. "Too noisy. Its the last thing you want when you escape. Unless... " a hunch lights up in his brain. "We should take another look on the cargo and stay alert."
  178. [2014-01-03 17:44:17] * Heartmend looks to them "Yes, what can I help you with?"
  179. [2014-01-03 17:44:28] <Cap_Rat> He says to the captain
  180. [2014-01-03 17:44:36] * Gerlinde hovers over The_Blossom. "Ready?"
  181. [2014-01-03 17:44:42] * Thomas_OMalley looks over at the dock and spirals up, looking for a boat.
  182. [2014-01-03 17:45:27] * The_Blossom gives a nod and a sigh. "As I'll ever be." She grips her whip in her tail. "Let's go!"
  183. [2014-01-03 17:47:42] * GreatAndPowerfulGM the mare grasps onto Cap, "Wait, there was one thing... He was leaning on some other pony, reall wet blanket if you know what I mean. Wanted to get his hooves on your manifest, I think he knew something about what you were carrying or was getting close. Before he got pissy he was talking about a more tactical approche to just grab whatever it was Z wanted"
  184. [2014-01-03 17:49:12] * GreatAndPowerfulGM the injured pony looks to heartmend, wincing in pain. Moments ago Heartmend had just dug half a stumps worth of spinters out of her chest. "The room... booby trap....She was gone though"
  185. [2014-01-03 17:49:31] * Gerlinde nods, wrapping her claws around Blossom's chest, and attempts to hoist her up.
  186. [2014-01-03 17:49:50] * Heartmend "Who has?"
  187. [2014-01-03 17:51:09] * GreatAndPowerfulGM the mare winces, "Textbook, I was going up to check on her.... her lock was busted and when I looked inside she wasnt there, Then a bright flash"
  188. [2014-01-03 17:51:36] * Midnight_Bliss looks around the upper deck, not likeing this situation, This pony Nitro is a thinker, Backup plans and tactics and sneakyness, it was almost like a direct challenge to her she felt
  189. [2014-01-03 17:57:13] * GreatAndPowerfulGM the mare talking to Cap_Rat shudders, "We said no, see were smart enough to stick to the plan. From what we have heard Z isnt the sort of pony you want to disapoint. My guess is either Nitro is trying to bug out or he is trying to figure this out so he can save his bacon"
  190. [2014-01-03 17:58:15] * Gerlinde grunts, finding Flora to be heavier than she expected! She huffs, trying to lift the mare.
  191. [2014-01-03 17:59:26] * Cap_Rat raises an eyebrow. "And who would he send against his own mercs?"
  192. [2014-01-03 18:00:02] <Gerlinde> Once Gerlinde gets a good grip, she hold Flora close, making sure not to drop her, and flies off to find the bomber. "Keep still," she whispers. "a little bit heavier than I thought."
  193. [2014-01-03 18:00:27] * The_Blossom rolls her eyes. "I'll ignore the fact you just called me fat."
  194. [2014-01-03 18:00:43] * Heartmend thinks this over then nods to the mare, thanking her
  195. [2014-01-03 18:01:06] * Gerlinde blinks. "Did not." She frowns. "Just... heavier than I thought!"
  196. [2014-01-03 18:02:00] * GreatAndPowerfulGM the mare shakes her head, "Not sure, but other teams have disapeared before. Z pays well but its sort of unspoken that your taking your life in your hooves. Deliver what he asks or dont come back at all".
  197. [2014-01-03 18:02:10] <The_Blossom> "Let's just look for the villian." She says, gazing down the river.
  198. [2014-01-03 18:04:00] <Gerlinde> "Heavier doesn't mean fat... and you know you're not," she replies, looking for the boat.
  199. [2014-01-03 18:05:00] * Heartmend looking for the the rest of the group "Now where have they run off to?" saying more to herself
  200. [2014-01-03 18:06:59] * Midnight_Bliss flaps up to her perch, looking through her scope
  201. [2014-01-03 18:08:46] * GreatAndPowerfulGM >> Signal Interupted....
