  1. Delete all your Restore Points, clean the WinSxS folder and disable Hibernation. That usually frees up a great deal of GB. Go to Control Panel > System and Security > System and on the left pane click "System protection". Click configure, and if you see some GB being used in "Current usage", click Delete.
  2. Open the command Prompt with admin rights and type "Dism /online /cleanup-image /startcomponentcleanup /resetbase". This will cleanup the WinSxS folder, that can occupy several GB.
  3. In the same command prompt type "powercfg -h off". This will turn off hybernation and shave off some more GB of page files.
