    An Official Room is run by Pokemon Showdown staff. Normal Users may not run or moderate any Pokemon Showdown official room.
    A regular Chat Room is listed in the room list, and thus will follow Pokemon Showdown rules. These rooms have their own moderators, picked by the room owner.

    A Private Room is not listed anywhere and can only be joined with a /join <roomname> command. These rooms do not have to follow PS rules in their chat, however attacks against a user, group of users or another private room will not be tolerated. Global PS rules DO still apply, which includes that if we think you are doing something wrong in your room, we can and will tell you to stop.
    Now that you've read that, you're ready to request a room. Since this feature is still in development, you will need to message our room admins the following information and they will process your request.

    When requesting a room, make sure to provide the following information.
    The name of the room.
    How many people you know will be using this room
    Why you think we should create this room.
