A storm magi's intentions

[02:24:00] Batkem's kisses were always accepted like her warm hugs. Giggling had emerged from the girl albiet light from the woman's actions. Vivica knew both of them had been proud of her for her accomplishments and all that she had learned.

'I know he is, and I know you are too, but.. Batkem.." hose words of her felt... crushing in a way. The thought occurred.. did she not believe hersef to be good enough as a replacement?

Vivica gripped Batkem tighter, wrapping her other arm around the woman and gazing into her green eyes with a smile for reassurance.

"Batkem. Mom. You are so much better than just good. I could never ask for anyone better. I promise you that. You or Ciel."

[02:30:49] This time, it seemed as if Vivica was the one doing the parenting, giving the spriggan confidence she needed rather than the other way around. Batkem returned the hug with a big squeeze, taking in the child's warmth with a wide smile. Those words of hers were ones she needed.

"Thank you, love. I'll make sure to be the mother you need, always," she returns. They had a happy family.

[02:37:39] Batkem's embrace was equally as amazing as Ciel's own. She held a deep love for both of her adoptive parents. Almost an obsessive one given that her past consisted of loses.

Now she had gained. Gained parents to love her and hold her again. Individuals to help guide her path with Kraus, to show her the correct ways to live. Instead of a lfiestyle that only consisted of taking.

Taking lives from others, taking ones innocence in replacement of corruption for inhuman acts like murder, maiming, or anything along those lines.

Now she was a child of Cinderfall, swearing in to protect the civilians to the best of her abilities. With her newfound capabilities and an aspiring technique to conjure storms at her will, Vivica made a promise to her own brother, Achyles, that they would become champions and potentially leaders. Ones to continue Thom's better side of the legacy. Instead of a villian, they would be heros.

And should New Alteros come in like a storm? She would bring about one in return to wipe them all out; to push them back and bring justice for her friends and family.

Plenty of complex thoughts for a child with big intentions. A creased a wider smile on her lips.

"You're welcome, mom. You already are the mother I need. I will always be the daughter you wanted. I love you so much, Batkem. Because of you.. I have another chance to be happy. Because of both you and Ciel. I am happy I didn't go back to Loranthis and stayed here."

[02:47:53] As she embraced this girl, she couldn't help but how things would have turned out if she had waited just a few more days for Raja to return and propose to her. All of the drama and trauma would have flooded over her with a man who could barely take care of himself, while she would have been deprived of the beautiful family she had now. A wonderful child and a great husband who could take care of her. Someone who was willing to do anything for her.

Batkem took in a deep breath, raising a hand to her face for a moment before exhaling. "It's been.. very rough, but we managed to come together. I'm so happy that it's all worked out so well," the spriggan says in a voice that was just ever so slightly shaky.

Her head tilted away towards a place where a cluster of houses sat, the trio's own amongst them. A house initially given to her host, Quazla Mabon. One inherited by her, and now by those she loved. Vivica's hand was squeezed as she turned back to her. "I think I'll be returning to bed. Would you like to sleep with me tonight?"

[02:53:52] The woman's voice was shaking which enabled for Vivica to hold her tightly. This woman was a part of her light that brought Vivica innocence to surface once more throughout time. In Loranthis it shed away and made for a child raised into an edgy lifestyle.

Now? She was a girl, sweet, big hearted, but at times did that very style of life revert back to her and it was clear too when it would. Due to Ciel's behaviors that she picked up on as well, such as the lack of emotion or tone of voice, it made her seem edgy, even if she truly wasn't.

Giving the woman's hand a squeeze in her own, Vivica gave a slow nod of her head and turned towards the many houses where theirs was among them.

"Sleep sounds good, mom. I'd love to."
