As the name suggests, Hybriding involves switching between two combat styles - traditionally magic and melee - in order to counter the style your opponent uses on you.

Being a good hybrid isn’t about skill - it isn’t even about luck. Being a good hybrid is all about the eyebrows. Until early 2008 players believed that the speed and rate at which you clicked and switched  in tangent with how hard you were hitting (with the random number generator) dictated how good a hybrid you were. They were all wrong. It is all about the eyebrows.

A man named xLigit changed all this.

Born with abnormally owl-like eyebrows (codename: owlbrows), xLigit was able to channel karma through his eyebrows, directing his significant panda-wrestling abilities into a sheer stream of beastliness, which he cleverly used to translate into Runescape power. Using his eyebrows, xLigit became invincible, killing at will and closing clans on his own in the Wilderness.

xLigit had to be stopped. An alliance of a few clans (Adelais, Violent Resolution, Bushrangers, Australian Army, Retards Anonymous, Spastics Incorporated, Damage Incorporated, Infamous Pkers, Aggression, Pixel Pirates, Brutality, Exiled, Team Fucktards, Team CuntBucket). Eventually, the aforementioned clans used a spoon, a toothpick and a tub of butter to create a black hole in xLigit’s left eyebrow. Xligit was then sucked into his own eyebrows and exploded in what was a very pretty purple rave session.

To be a good hybrid, and be like xLigit, you must smear Bear shit, Dog shit, Owl shit, Owl feathers, an Owl’s beak, Fried Rice, genetically altered growth hormones and a toenail from a milf into your eyebrows.
