[15:43] <haughtyArtemis> Nothing I haven't already done better.  Gideon and Donovan are as reliable as ever, but speed isn't an option in any situation when it comes to lever-action.

[15:45] <haughtyArtemis> Have mirrors set up all over the place.  If I don't, it's just asking for a lawsuit when someone walks somewhere I'm aiming and I can't see them.

[16:25] <gloriousGunsmoke> Oh yeah I totally forgot to tell you, it's the stupidest thing ever. I was actually experimenting with making a custom launcher for airsoft grenade shells using spare parts. Uhm, one thing led to another and it turned out to be a working abomination that shoots multiple shotguns shells. It farts bullets. It's so dangerous I had to shelf it.

[16:26] <haughtyArtemis> Scar yourself too bad, and you'll wind up the bad guy in the movie.  No way out when that happens.

[16:28] <gloriousGunsmoke> What are your thoughts on shotguns in general?
[16:29] <haughtyArtemis> They've got a fantastic setup, which makes them even easier to use than a more typical pistol or rifle.  Point and click, and whatever you pointed at gets torn to pieces.  Aim even half decently, and the target is getting hit.
[16:30] <haughtyArtemis> At the same time, that means you can be the best shotgun expert in the world, and you won't be hitting much better than any random person who picked one up off the ground.
[16:30] <gloriousGunsmoke> Yeah, they're kinda boring aren't they. Really good for actual self-defense use but uhh
[16:31] <gloriousGunsmoke> Yeah won't get back into that either.
[16:31] <haughtyArtemis> But no class.
[16:31] <gloriousGunsmoke> Slugs are cool though.
[16:31] <haughtyArtemis> They are.  It's a good design, it's just... never as impressive as seeing someone who knows their way around any other type.

[16:32] <gloriousGunsmoke> The shells that allow for loading anything you want can be comical though. I've seen a guy make pellets of frozen pieces of- I kid you not- ham.
