- Backstory: Donatello was originally just an aspiring mangaka, using pens with a bit of computer-based-tools usage to create his art. His greatest annoyance was the fact that modern trends of manga were so different from the so-beloved by him classics of 80s.
- This changed, when he discovered his affinity towards inhumanly fast and precise finger painting - it was revealed to him he was the 42th descendant of the ancient Colourful Fist of the Tint Splash martial art... or the clique of eccentric artists, blabbering about standing on guard of balance and safety of the world, or some other outlandish bullshit.
- Even worse, when things finally went south, it appeared that none of those "martial artists" could actually fight well... except Donatello. As the only actually competent person, Donatello took the mantle of the art's successor and went onward, joining HoNK, to paint justice!
- ...although he might seem a bit off, considering how much he had to inhale paint fumes.
