  2. he showed talent from the start and was put into a fostering at
  3. the tender age of 4.

  5. Sadly his father should have done a little more checking, turns out
  6. the family had a little republican secret hidden away and Shaemus grew
  7. up to embrace those leanings, especially after he and his foster
  8. brother ran off for a while and saw the way things really were for
  9. those who didn't toe the Tir line.

  11. When it came time to "Give His Honour" he gave it alright, in a secret
  12. ceremony he recorded and sent to his family. His Oath. "I take as my
  13. Path that of the Warrior. In the Shadows I walk, to end the cruel and
  14. the corrupt. I place my feet on the lonely road of Justice. I am the
  15. Law that stands above tyranny, proud and valiant, I vanquish my
  16. enemies with might. As guardian of my people and my land, I take
  17. within myself the spirit of Ireland; I shall never surrender to the
  18. Dictatorship."

  20. His family was appalled. They covered it up as best they could and
  21. kept it from going public, but for all their efforts they could not
  22. find their "wayward son in need of gentle reeducation." This continued
  23. for several years until one day in late autumn Shaemus showed back up;
  24. Loudly. He led a cell of radical IRA agents, most of them elves
  25. themselves with a spattering of orcs, dwarves, men, and a single
  26. troll. They hit a family weapons plant right when it had a large
  27. stockpile waiting for shipment, stole the guns and burned the place to
  28. the ground. Something had to be done then.

  30. Each and every member who they could identify was immediately assigned
  31. a terrorist SIN and maximum justice was promised against the group.
  32. Justice came in the night but hours later as the group rode a small
  33. yacht out towards the veil to meet up with some contacts from england.
  34. Shaemus first became aware of the attack when a single figure dropped
  35. onto the boat and shot him repeatedly in the chest. Staggering Shaemus
  36. tried to draw his blade but was kicked off the boat and hurled over a
  37. dozen meters into the water. At this point everything went back for
  38. the young elf.

  40. Shaemus came to in a dingy loft in scotland with the contact nervously
  41. looking down on him. The contact explained that when they came to the
  42. boat it was a blazing inferno and the only reason they even found him
  43. was they bumped into his body as they were turning their speedboat to
  44. flee. Shaemus got to watch a very nice trid production of his "death"
  45. in maximum detail and the brutal slaughter of his cell by "valiant
  46. agents of the Tir." Using the last of his resources, Shaemus did the
  47. only thing he could and fled across the ocean to the UCAS where he
  48. would recover and regroup in anonymity.

  50. Now Shaemus is in Boston, where he now resides in a flat above his
  51. cousin's moderately popular irish pub. He now makes a living playing
  52. sad, rueful, Irish ballads on his guitar while he drinks away his
  53. despair and slowly plots his revenge against the Tuatha de Danaan,
  54. "EVEN IF IT TAKES ME A THOUSAND YEARS!"
