  1. <Name> Zorro
  2. <Class> Rider
  3. <Alignment> Chaotic Good
  4.
  5. <Brief description, please touch up on the legend, personality and appearance, as detailed as you can get!>
  6.
  7. In the 19th century, the land that would one day be called California was ruled by corrupt Mexican colonial officials. These men would crush the poor, the defenseless, and the natives beneath their feet. This corruption led to the people crying for justice, crying for someone to right the wrongs that had been done upon them.
  8.
  9. Enter Zorro! No one knows his true name, and some even question if this vigilante *is* a he. What all agree is a masked figure clad only in black rides through, catches the bad guy, and escapes on horseback before anyone can claim the bounty posted for their capture. No one suspects the foppish aristocrat, the richest landowner in the land, of being this bandit! Only the truth is more elusive...
  10.
  11. Because Zorro was never real. The character was an invention of the author Johnston McCulley, a hero of pulp magazines and silent movies. They are a precursor to the 'superhero' craze, and one of the first to adopt the idea of a 'secret identity'. Which makes the existence of Zorro as a Heroic Spirit perplexing. Unlike the mystery of Sherlock Holmes, everyone agrees there never was a Zorro. And yet it seems the idea of a Zorro, the idea of someone standing for those who cannot to save the day, has gained such a fervent belief that it wills itself into being. The people cry out for Zorro, and a Zorro must answer the call.
  12.
  13. What *this* Zorro is, depends on what those who look upon them percieve. Most see a handsome gentleman who puts on the facade of foppishness and cowardice to hide his true nature, though some could see a woman taking the role. Impeccably polite, seemingly shunning all suitors and only wearing their blade for fashion. In truth, they are a skilled equestrian and an honorable if cunning fencer, eager to humiliate their opponent and take advantage of their anger. They cannot stand for an injustice, and while they can stay their hand from an immediate response one will come - so heed well their name, for they shall carve a 'Z' with their blade!

  46. ---------------
  47. <NP Name> The Sign of a Z
  48. <Rank> B
  49. <Type> Anti-Unit
  50. --Every hero has their calling card, and Zorro's is infamous. This bold renegade slashes their opponent three times, forming a 'Z' with their blade. With the degree of control they have, this has not just an immediate physical impact on their opponent but a mental one - they know they are winning, and brandishing this Noble Phantasm is a way of lording it over their opponent.
  51.
  52. But a calling card draws all kinds of attention. Should a Master or a Servant find someone who has been inflicted with this sign, they will immediately know that Zorro is around. They may not know how to find them or what to look for, but they will be warned all the same.
  53.
  54. <NP Name> Tornado
  55. <Rank> C
  56. <Type> Anti-Army
  57. --Zorro is infamous for his quick getaways, and his most famous steed Tornado is usually responsible. Skilled in horseback fighting, Tornado can gallop circles around their
  58. opponent. Though Zorro typically only calls upon Tornado to end a fight so he can form a cunning plan for victory.
  59.
  60. <NP Name> The Mask of Zorro
  61. <Rank> EX
  62. <Type> Conceptual
  63. --The people cry out for a hero, and a hero must respond. If Zorro is ever defeated in battle, they do not immediately return to the Throne of Heroes. Instead, their mask is left behind. If the opponent fails to destroy the mask before the next sunset, Zorro returns fully healed.
