The card's scene begins after the Event scene beginning with the tsf fight between Theo and Lise that diverges when Pham fires her RPG at Lise and Lise fires back Theo ends up body blocking the shot thus downing his MiG and injuring him, Lise immediately jumps from her tsf and runs over to Theo in a panic crying out for him not even caring that this allowed the rebels to easily catch her as she's too much in a spiraling stupor at what looked like a fatal blow to Theo's MiG by her own shot.

リィズがファムへと銃撃を放った瞬間, 俺はほぼ反射的に自機をその筒先とファムとの間に飛び込ませていた.

Lise:しかもお兄ちゃんのMiG-21は私が壊しちゃったじゃない?多分すぐには直らないよ
“Didn’t I total your MiG-21? I don’t think it’ll be fixed soon”

Theo: あっ.... そうだった...
“Ah… thats true…”

Lise: だから... 私のMiG-23に乗っていって ....
国家保安省の機体が嫌でなければだけど....
“Which is why.. I want you to please use my MiG-23…
Unless you don’t want to use a Stasi tsf…”

Theo: 国家保安省は嫌だが, リィズの愛機なら喜んで借りるさ.
ありがとうよ, リィズ....
“Its not the Stasi’s tsfs I want, its Lise’s tsf that she’s given out of love that I’ll gladly borrow.
Thank you, Lise…”

Lise: お願い, 生きて帰ってきてね ....
“Please, come back alive….”

Gretel: …. ェーベルバッハ, ホーェンシュタイン... そろそ時間だ
“…. Eberbach, Hohenstein… its about time”

その声に時計を見れば予定時間を三十分もオーバーしている.
中尉のその心遣いが俺には嬉しかった.
Looking at the watch we’ve been here thirty minutes over the scheduled time.
I’m glad the Lieutenant was so generous.

Theo: じゃあな, リィズ.... 必ず生きて帰ってくる.
べア卜リクスにもアクスマンにも俺は負けない
“See you soon, Lise… I promise I will return to you safe.
I won’t lose to Beatrix and Axmann”

その言葉を不安そうな表情で俺を見送るリィズに残し, 彼女の部屋を後にするのだった ....
Lise’s face is stricken with concern as she sees me off, and I take my leave of her room…

Next Scene

Headquarters operator: 武装警察軍の戦術機部隊1個大隊が接近中です !
“Counting 1 battalion of Stasi TSFs on approach !”

Headquarters operator: 敵は第666中隊の前進経路を迂回しています.
我々司令部を攻撃目標としているようです
“The enemy bypassed the forward route of the 666th company. They appear to be targeting our headquarters”

General Heim: 敢えて守らず, 先に相手の首を取るというわけか.
いいだろう... それも想定内だ
“Wasting no time, going straight for their opponent’s jugular.
Alright then… It was expected”

General Heim: 地上部隊へ警戒警報を発今 ! 防空部をもって, 敵戦術機を全力で迎撃させろ !
“Alert all ground troops! Anti-air defenses at the ready to intercept !”

Headquarters operator:了解
“Roger”

Headquarters Operator: たッ... 大変です !
ファルケンゼーに新たな戦術機部隊が出現しました !
“Ah.. Alert !
Picking up new signals inside Falkenze !

General Heim: なっ.... 馬鹿な ! ?
“What… Impossible ! ?”

General Heim: 迎撃を開始しろ !
奴らの狙いは防空司令部だ !
“Move to intercept !
Their target is the air defense base !”

Headquarters Operator:しかしこの近距離では対空ミサイルでは対応できません !
“They’re too close to be targeted by anti-air missiles !”

General Heim: くッ.... 嵌めれたというのか... !
“Damn… figures as much …!”

Lise meanwhile

情報源として監禁されたまま連れてこられた市庁舎の一室.
The room wherein I have been confined to be used as an information source.

なにやら地上が騒がしくなってきた様子だ.
The ground is starting to shake.

大きく揺れる市庁舎の床と壁, ここが何者かに強襲されている事は明らかだ.
そして, 強襲する組織なんてーつしかない.
Its clear by the by the chaos and commotion rocking the building to its foundation that it is under attack.
And there is only one organazation capable of such an assault.

Lise: ヴェアヴォルフ ... べア卜リクス ...
“Werewolves … Beatrix ….”

Pham: リィズちゃん ! 大丈夫 ! ?
“Lise-chan! Are you alright ! ?”

歯がみする私の部屋にファム中尉が飛び込んできた.
Lieutenant Pham came bursting into the room.

Lise:ヴェアヴォルフ大隊の襲撃ですか ! ?
“Its a raid by the Werewolf batallion isn’t it! ?”

Pham: ええ, そうよ. 貴女を自由にするわけにはいかないけど,
このまま, 鍵の掛かったここに監禁しておく訳にもいかないから....
しばらくは私と一緒に居て
Yes, its so. I’m not allowed to set you free, but we can’t keep you confined here either… so you’ll be staying with me for now

Lise: …中尉, 私に戦術機を貨してください. 迎撃に出撃します
“… Lieutenant, please afford me a tsf. I’ll sortie with the others to intercept”

Pham: えっ!?
“What!?”

Pham: 無理よ, 反乱軍は貴女を信用してない... ううん, 憎んでる. とてもではないけど戦術機で出撃なんて許して貰えないわ.
今は我慢して....
“Impossible, the rebels don’t trust you.. I hate it, but. Theres no way they’ll let you sortie in a tsf right now.
Just be patient…”

ごまかしのない正直な言葉はむしろ今の私には心地が良かった.
I’m getting used to speaking honestly without deception.

Lise: 解りました
“I understand”

Pham: 安心して. 貴女の事はテオドール
君の代わりに私が守るから
“Don’t worry. I will protect you in Theodore’s stead for now”

Lise: はい. ありがとううございます
“Alright. Thank you”

そして, 私達が監禁されていた部屋から廊下に出ると, 窓に戦術機の大きな姿とその戦術機が構える突撃砲の銃口が見えた.
Then, as we enter the hall outside the room of my confinement, I see the looming figure of a tsf beyond the window with the muzzle of its assault gun pointed directly in.

そのことにファム中尉は気付いていない. そう思った瞬間, 私の身体は私の意思を離れて動いていた.
Pham did not notice it. At that moment, my body reacted without thinking.

Lise: ファム中尉 ! !
“Lieutenant Pham ! !”

Pham: リィズちゃん ! ?
“Lise-chan ! ?”

Theo meanwhile

多大な犠牲を払いながらもアイリスディーナの奪還は失敗に終わった. グレーテルは命こそ助かったが撃墜され, 俺達の戦力は半数近くにまで減った.
Despite heavy losses the retrieval of Irisdina resulted in failure. Gretel was shot down but recovered, still our fighting power has decreased by nearly half.

Pham: テオドール君! リィズゃんが!
“Theodor-kun! Its Lise-chan!”

Theo: ….ッ ! ?
リィズがどうしたんだ ! ?
“…What !? What happened to Lise ! ?”

In the infirmary

Pham: ごめんなさい ... 私の所為で ...
“Im sorry… its because of me…”

撤退してきた俺が通されたのは病室だった.
ではリィズがベッドに寝かされ静かに眠っていた
As I stepped into the room, I could see Lise sleeping quietly there on the bed.

窓の外から戦術機が市庁舎を狙っている事に気付いたリィズはそのことに気付いていないファムを庇って瓦礫の下敷きになってしまった
Lise spotted the tsf aiming at the building from outside the window, knocked Pham away from the blast radius and thus herself became trapped under the rubble.
Theo: あんたのせいじゃない. リィズもあんたのせいだなんて思ってないさ….
“Its not your fault. I don’t think Lise would consider it your fault either…”

その時瓦礫で頭を強く打ったようだ.
医者の診察によると当面命の危険はないらしい.
しかし, リィズがいつ目覚めるかは解らないそうだ.
It looks like she was struck hard in the head by debris.
According to the doctor’s examination, it appears to not be a life threatening injury.
But, he’s not sure when it is that she will wake up.

Theo: …リィズ... しばらく眠っててくれ.
目を覚ましたらまた穏やかに暮らせる世界になっているから...
“….Lise… just rest for awhile.
When you wake up may it be in a world where you can live peacefully once again…”

Theo: ファム姉... リィズの事を頼む.
俺はべア卜リクスと決着を付けてくる
“Pham-nee… watch over Lise.
I will go face Beatrix.”

Pham: …. 解ったわ. リィズちゃんのことは任せて. 今度こそ, 守ってみせるわ
“… I understand. Leave Lise to me. This time, I will protect her”

俺はファムにリィズを託すとべア卜リクスとの再戦へと赴くのだった.
I entrust Lise to Pham then head for a rematch with Beatrix.”

Next Scene, Theo reminisces

あの時, 俺は無我夢中だった. リィズにファムを殺させてはいけない. たったーつ, それだけの事しか考ぇていなかった ....
At that moment, I don’t know what I was thinking. Preventing Lise from killing Pham, that was my only goal…

そう言って突撃砲を構えるリィズのMiG-23と屋上に居るファムとの間に俺は自らのMiG-21を滑り込ませた.
I slipped my MiG-21 between Lise’s MiG-23 and the rooftop at the last second.

そして, 奄の機体はリィズの突撃砲で撃ち抜かれた.
よく死ななかったものだと自分でも呆れる.
The shot ran clear through my aircraft.
I’m honestly amazed I didn’t die right there.

その甲斐あってファムは生き残り,
ファムの弁護のおかげで捕らえられたリィズも極刑を免れる事になった.
Thankfully, Pham survived and Lise after being captured was spared execution.

そのことを素直に喜ぶ事は出来ない. なぜなら...
Unfortunately not everything turned out so well. Because…

ベア卜リクスやアクスマンとの決着が付き,
革命の夜からいくらかの日々が流れた.
With the defeat of Beatrix and Axmann,
Many days have passed since the night of the revolution.

臨時編成大隊の隊長に任じられ前線を忙しく飛び回ってた俺は久しぶりにベルリンヘと戻り国家人民軍の役所を訪れていた.
役所から出てきた俺に声をかけた女性がいた.
I was appointed Captain of a temporary formation battalion and have been busy flying on the frontline. I’ve had the chance to return to Berlin for the first time in a while
and am currently visiting the governing office of the NVA. As I approach a woman comes out to greet me.

Pham: テオドールくん ! 久しぶり !
Theo-kun ! Long time no see !”

Theo: ああ... ファム. 久しぶり. 身体はどうなんだ?
“Ah… Pham. Long time no see. How are you?”

Pham: うん, 普通の生活は問題ないんだけど
やっぱり衛士をやるのはね, まだ少し時間が掛かるみたい
“Fine, normal life is not a problem
But as expected full recovery will take some time”

国家保安省で厳しい尋問, いや拷問を受けたファムはその身体が回復するまで一時的に後方任務にまわされていた.
Having been interrogated by the Stasi, or more accurately tortured, Pham has been temporarily placed off combat duty until she has fully physically recovered.

そのファムに俺はーつの事を頼んでいた.
Theres just one thing I have to ask her.

Theo: …. リィズは ?
“….how is Lise?”

Pham: …..

暗い表情で首を二度在右に振るファムの姿に俺は全てを察した.
Pham shakes her head with a grim expression.

リィズは極刑こそ免れたが監禁されていた市庁舎が国家保安省の攻撃を受け, その倒壊に巻き込まれ, 今も昏睡状態にある.
Lise was not executed but held in confinement, when the Stasi attacked the base she was struck by debris and is currently still in a coma.

俺がファムに頼んであるのは, 昏睡したまま入院しているリィズの見舞いだ.
I have asked Pham, to keep an eye on Lise in my absence.

Theo: …. そうか....
“…. I see…”

Pham: 樣態は安定してるからすぐにどうこうという事はないみたい....
“She’s perfectly stable there just doesn’t seem to have been any change yet…”

Theo: 相変わらずということか... すまない, ファム
“Same as usual then… thanks anyway, Pham”

Pham: お礼なんていらないわよ, テオドールくんの妹なら私の妹みたいな物だし
“I don’t need any thanks, any imouto of Theo-kun’s is an imouto of mine”

Pham:でも, 久しぶりね.
革命の後はお互いばたしててゆっくり話す暇もなかったし....
“But, it has been a while.
We haven’t had much chance to talk since the revolution happened…”

Theo: ちょくちょく帰ってこれれば良いんだがな....
こうもBETA共の動きが活発ではな....
“I hope to be able to come around more often…
Assuming the BETA aren’t too active to prevent it…”

Pham: そういえば, リィズちゃんが市庁舎に監禁されてた時, 言ってたわよ
“Speaking of which, Lise-chan said something to me when she was still being held prisoner”

Theo: なんて?
“What?”

flashback

Lise: ファム中尉... 拷問, ごめんなさい
“Lieutenant Pham… for the torture, I’m sorry”

Pham: 良いのよ..... もう, 終わった事なんだから.....
Its okay… all that, its all over now…”

Lise: …. どんな罰でも受け入れる. 死ねって言うなら黙って死ぬ....
でも, 許されるならー人の衛士として前線で戦わせて....
“….I accept any punishment. Even If it is death I will go quietly…
But, if allowed let me to continue to fight on the front line…

Pham: …..どうして?
“…. why?”

Lise: お兄ちゃんはきっと死ぬまで衛士でBETAと戦い続ける人だから...
だからお兄ちゃんと同じ衛士としてBETAと戦い続けたい
“Because Onii-chan is still out there fighting the BETA and could surely die…
I want to be there to fight the BETA along side him”

Pham: ….テ才ドールくんとは同じ戦場に居られないかも知れないわよ.
持別な事情がなければ兄妹で同じ部隊に配属される事はないから...
“… you might not be placed on the same battlefield as Theo-kun.
Its usually only under extraordinary circumstances that a brother and sister will be assigned to the same battalion.”

Lise: うん, 知ってる. 666 に配属されたのも国家保安省の裏工作だし....
“Yeah, I know. I was assigned to the 666th by the Stasi for a purpose…”

Lise: でも, 他の部隊にいても他の戦場に居ても, そこでBETAをー匹倒せばお兄ゃんが戦うべきBETAがー匹減るーー
“But even by being in other units on other battlefields, by defeating the BETA there the BETA Onii-chan must fight will be reduced as well by that amount…”

Lise: ーーそう思えばどんな厳しい戦場でも, 懲罰的な出撃でも私は耐えられる. ううん.... むしろ, 嬉しい
“By seeing it like that, I can endure any battlefield no matter how harsh, even a punitive sortie. In truth… really, I would gladly do that”

flashback over

Theo: ….まだ, 俺を助けるつもりだったのかよ.... あいつは....
“…. even then, she just wanted to help me… that girl…”

Theo visits Lise's room

あの日, 市庁舎で監禁されていたリィズは市庁舎の倒壊に巻き込まれた. 緒に居たファムを庇って頭を瓦礫で強く打ったと聞いている.
That day, Lise was there having been caught and held prisoner. When the building was struck she was hit hard in the head with rubble.

Theo: よぅ... リィズ, 相変わらず気持ちよさそうに眠ってるな....
“Ah.. Lise, sleeping pleasantly as usual…

すぐに目を覚ますかも知れないし,
一生このままかも知れない.
医者にはそう言われた.
She could wake up anytime,
or be this way for the rest of her life.
Thats what the doctor said.

なかなか見舞いに来られなくて悪いな.... BETAの奴らの動きが活発な前線をほったらかしにしてるわけにはいかないんだ....
革命騒ぎで優秀な衛士が何人も死んだしな
Its unfortunate I can’t come visit so easily… the BETA have been on the move and we can’t afford to lose any in active duty on the front line…
We lost a lot of good men during the revolutionary upheaval

しかし,こうして見舞いに来てみると... 海王星作戦の後の事を思い出すなどこも痛くないのにアイリスに無理矢理病院にねじ込まれて....
Its funny, when I come to visit like this.. it reminds me of Operation Neptune when I was forced to stay in the hospital by Iris, even though I wasn’t hurt too badly….

でも, あの時はみんな暇を持て余してたからひっきりなしに見舞いに来てくれてたんだが....
But, back then we had al the time to spare so it was easy to come and visit.

俺はなかなか見舞いにも来られなくてごめんな....
悪いお兄ちゃんだよな....
I’m sorry I can’t come see you more often…
I’m a bad Onii-chan…

それとも見舞いなんか来ない方が良いかな
俺が入院してた時はお前やカティア達が来るのが少し鬱陶しかったんだよな.

When I was in the hospital it was always hectic when you and Katia would come to visit.
You were so lively, you guys.. it became a problem when you guys wouldn’t leave so I could get some sleep.

でも, お前がそれをやってたのは俺を守るためだったんだろう?
ずっとずっと.... 俺のために手を血で汚してな...
… ‘infanticide committing Hohenstein’… such a terrible thing to call her.
But, you had to do it to protect me?

そう言って俺はリィズの枕元にあの頃に付けていたのとよく似たリボンをーつ置いた.
I place a ribbon like the one Lise usually wears at her bedside.

目を覚ましたらまた付けてくれよ, リィズ...
When you wake up please wear it again, Lise…

本当はもうちょっとゆっくりしていたかったんだけどな, 俺も出世しちまっていろと忙しいんだ
I wish things could be more relaxed, but I’ve been so busy all the time lately

お前が目を覚まして俺の仕事を手伝ってくれれば楽が出来るんだけどな
If you wake up you could help me with my work and ease my burden

俺はリィズの少し伸びた前髪を指先で整えるときびすを返した.
I take a forelock of her hair and entwine it with my fingertips.

後ろ髪はいやと言うほど引かれた. しかし, 足を止める事は出来ない.
戦わなければならない戦場が俺にはあるから...
Reluctantly I draw away from her hair. I cannot stop my feet.
I have a battlefield to fight…

俺の居なくなった病室にリィズが一人だけで取り残された.
安らかで規則正しい寝息を立て続けるリィズ... その寝息が不意に止まった.
Lise was left alone in her hospital room without me.
She continued to sleep peacefully… then suddenly her slumber comes to an end

Lise: お兄.... ちゃん....
“Onii…chan…”
