  1. ## Introduction
  2.
  3. T.G. is a going first combo deck that is based around Summoning the powerful combo piece {T.G. Trident Launcher} via {Crystron Halqifibrax}. From there it combos into a Synchro boss Monster such as {Cosmic Blazar Dragon} or {T.G. Halberd Cannon}. The strengths of this deck lies in the many engines it has access to, which facilitate the Summon of the explosive {T.G. Trident Launcher}.
  4.
  5. The main drawback of both the deck and {T.G. Trident Launcher} is that after Summoning {T.G. Trident Launcher}, you become locked to exclusively Summoning T.G. Monsters for the rest of the turn. However, this weakness becomes a source of uniqueness for the deck, preventing us from becoming just another generic Synchro deck, and instead using less common options that we can facilitate. In addition, this deck is able to Synchro Summon on the opponent’s turn, meaning that this lock can be bypassed.
  6.
  7. The deck is overall rather simple to pilot, as a lot of the combos are very similar, but with this simplicity comes a high susceptibility to interruption, so to counteract this many techs are dedicated to ensuring our combo resolves, in addition, extenders are ran so that if our Normal Summon is negated our play can continue.
  8.

  10.
  11.
  12. ## Core Cards
  13.
  14. These are cards that are used in almost every version of the deck, with some options, depending on your end goal.
  15.
  16. ### Monsters
  17.
  18. #### T.G. Screw Serpent
  19. {cards}(T.G. Screw Serpent++2-3)
  20.
  21. - Being a level 4, this is one of the best tuners in the T.G. archetype. This allows for easy level 5 Synchros with all the other core level 1 T.G. Monsters.
  22. - Remember that any card Summoned through this effect has its effects negated.
  23. - By Summoning {T.G. Star Guardian} with this card and a level 1, it is possible to Summon a level 7 Synchro Monster.
  24. - Able to adjust the levels of T.G. Monsters
  25.
  26. #### T.G. Booster Raptor
  27. {cards}(T.G. Booster Raptor++0-3)
  28.
  29. - Pairs well with {T.G. Screw Serpent} to Synchro Summon 2 level 5s and then a level 10.
  30. - Has synergy with a dino engine. Can be searched by {Souleating Oviraptor} or {Fossil Dig} and can be special Summoned by {Miscellaneousaurus}.
  31. - The GY search effect is rather slow and not very significant.
  32. - The effect to special Summon itself does not count as an effect activation and only requires 1 T.G. Monster on the field.
  33.
  34.
  35. #### T.G. Drill Fish
  36. {cards}(T.G. Drill Fish++0-3)
  37.
  38. - Similar to {T.G. Booster Raptor}.
  39. - Special Summon **does** count as an effect activation, making it more likely to be negated.
  40. - Can be Summoned only if you T.G. Monsters.
  41. - Comes with an additional targeted Monster destruction effect. Useful, but not worth the harder conditions to Summon.
  42. - Only used with the {Deep Sea Diva} engine for its water attribute, where it makes a good bridge for {Small World}.
  43.
  44.
  45. #### T.G. Tank Grub
  46. {cards}(T.G. Tank Grub++2)
  47.
  48. - Most often Summoned via {Crystron Halqifibrax}’s effect.
  49. - If you special Summon this card from the GY via {T.G. Screw Serpent}’s effect, you cannot treat it as a non-tuner, since its effects are negated.
  50. - In the above case, its GY effect to special Summon a token will still activate if you still manage to use it as Synchro material.
  51.
  52. ### Extra Deck
  53.
  54.
  55. #### T.G. Star Guardian
  56. {cards}(T.G. Star Guardian++1-2)
  57.
  58. - The most important T.G. extra deck Monster, thanks to its great extension potential.
  59. - Do note that your opponent will be able to resolve at least one Summon or card activation after you activate the effect to Synchro Summon on their turn. A {Raigeki} or {Dark Hole} could destroy whatever Monster you choose to Summon.
  60.
  61.
  62. #### T.G. Hyper Librarian
  63. {cards}(T.G. Hyper Librarian++1)
  64.
  65. - Has an excellent effect that is unfortunately underutilized in most combos.
  66. - Mainly used for the fact that it is a level 5 T.G. Synchro Monster.
  67.
  68.
  69. #### T.G. Power Gladiator
  70. {cards}(T.G. Power Gladiator++0-1)
  71.
  72. - Serves as a backup for {T.G. Hyper Librarian}.
  73.
  74.
  75. #### T.G. Recipro Dragonfly
  76. {cards}(T.G. Recipro Dragonfly++1)
  77.
  78. - If the materials used for the targeted Monster’s Synchro Summon are not also Synchro Monsters, you will just send your targeted Synchro Monster to the GY for nothing in return.
  79. - By using this effect, you can send a stronger Monster like {Shooting Star Dragon T.G. EX} for {T.G. Halberd Cannon} to float into in case it is destroyed.
  80.
  81.
  82. #### Shooting Star Dragon T.G. EX
  83. {cards}(Shooting Star Dragon T.G. EX++1)
  84.
  85. - The main level 10 archetypal Synchro Monster.
  86. - Can be Summoned using just {T.G. Screw Serpent} and either {T.G. Booster Raptor} or {T.G. Drill Fish}.
  87.
  88.
  89. #### T.G. Halberd Cannon
  90. {cards}(T.G. Halberd Cannon++0-1)
  91.
  92. - The archetype’s boss Monster.
  93. - Has a powerful Summon negation effect. This effect can only resolve if this card is still on the field. This card can only negate Summons of a card that is not special Summoned as part of a chain.
  94. - Can float into any T.G. Monster, ideally a level 10 Synchro like {Shooting Star Dragon T.G. EX}.
  95.
  96.
  97. #### T.G. Trident Launcher
  98. {cards}(T.G. Trident Launcher++1-2)
  99.
  100. - The archetype Link Monster and main enabler for the level 12 Synchro combo.
  101. - On Summon this card can special Summon one T.G. Monster each from your hand, GY, and deck.
  102. - You must have a T.G. Monster in each of these locations on this Monster’s Summon in order for the effect to resolve.
  103. - This card is a negation magnet, so make sure you can negate the negates.
  104. - Using this card’s effect locks you into T.G. Monsters for the rest of the turn. This means that if you choose to Summon a level 12 other than {T.G. Halberd Cannon} you must wait until the next turn.
  105.
  106.
  107. #### Cosmic Blazar Dragon
  108. {cards}(Cosmic Blazar Dragon++1)
  109.
  110. - Arguably the best boss Monster this deck can Summon.
  111. - Has an extremely powerful omni-negate effect similar to {Solemn Judgment}.
  112. - Banishes itself as cost, allowing it to dodge many effects.
  113. - Often used in place of {T.G. Halberd Cannon}, but can also be used alongside it.
  114.
  115.
  116. #### Satellite Warrior
  117. {cards}(Satellite Warrior++1)
  118.
  119. - There will always be at least two Synchro Monsters in the GY after Summoning this card.
  120. - This allows for two destructions and an additional 2000 attack points.
  121.
  122.
  123. #### PSY-Framelord Zeta/Black Rose Moonlight Dragon
  124. {cards}(PSY-Framelord Zeta++0-1; Black Rose Moonlight Dragon++0-1)
  125.
  126. - Generic level 7 Monsters that can be Summoned using {T.G. Screw Serpent} and {T.G. Star Guardian}’s effects.
  127. - Good Monster removal that can prevent your opponent's Monster’s GY effects.
  128.
  129.
  130. #### Crystron Halqifibrax
  131. {cards}(Crystron Halqifibrax++1)
  132.
  133. - Makes Summoning {T.G. Trident Launcher} and resolving its effect easier when used with {T.G. Tank Grub}.
  134. - This populates your GY with a T.G. Monster necessary for T.G. Trident Launcher’s effect to resolve.
  135. - The second effect is usually only used when the ignition effect is negated, and the card is not destroyed.
  136.
  137.
  138. #### Accesscode Talker
  139. {cards}(Accesscode Talker++1)
  140.
  141. - If {T.G. Trident Launcher} survives, it can be used as three Link materials for this card on your next turn after Summoning it, requiring only one more Monster.
  142. - Combined with {Cosmic Blazar Dragon}, OTKs are easy peasy.
  143.
  144.
  145. #### Knightmare Unicorn/Knightmare Phoenix
  146. {cards}(Knightmare Unicorn++0-1; Knightmare Phoenix++0-1)
  147.
  148. - Generic strong Link Monsters used for follow up plays.
  149. - Have good removal and a potential draw.
  150.
  151.
  152. #### T.G. Wonder Magician
  153. {cards}(T.G. Wonder Magician++0-1)
  154.
  155. - Rarely used outside of some Duel Links combos. Usually not in the extra deck.
  156. - Ignition effect can sometimes be used to remove flood gates.
  157. - Shares the same accel Synchro Summon effect as {T.G. Star Guardian}.
  158.
  159.
  160. #### Black Rose Dragon
  161. {cards}(Black Rose Dragon++0-1)
  162.
  163. - Part of the Duel Links combo. Usually not in the extra deck.
  164. - Is Synchro Summoned on your opponent's turn using {T.G. Recipro Dragonfly} and {T.G. Wonder Magician} or {T.G. Star Guardian}.
  165. - This card’s Summon **must** be at chain Link 1, or it will miss the timing to activate its effect.
  166.
  167.
  168. #### Assault Blackwing - Onimaru the Divine Thunder
  169. {cards}(Assault Blackwing - Onimaru the Divine Thunder++0-1)
  170.
  171. - Part of the Duel Links combo. Usually not in the extra deck.
  172. - Is Synchro Summoned during your opponent's turn with {Black Rose Dragon} and either {T.G. Wonder Magician} or {T.G. Star Guardian} *before* Black Rose Dragon’s effect resolution.
  173.
  174.
  175. ### Spells & Traps
  176.
  177.
  178. ## Pot of Avarice
  179. {cards}(Pot of Avarice++0-2)
  180.
  181. - A good card for returning cards like {Crystron Halqifibrax}, {T.G. Trident Launcher}, and {T.G. Recipro Dragonfly} to the extra deck for reuse. Given that Crystron Halqifibrax is limited to 1 copy, you must recycle it to be able to return through the combo.
  182. - Draw two is extremely good and can often open up comeback plays.
  183.
  184. ## Where Arf Thou?
  185. {cards}(Where Arf Thou?++0-3)
  186.
  187. - Useful for searching cards after {Crystron Halqifibrax}’s effect resolution. Often times needed to resolve {T.G. Trident Launcher}’s effect.
  188.
  189. ---
  190.
  191.
  192. ## Engines
  193.
  194. Given the deck’s main combos stem through making {Crystron Halqifibrax}, engines more adept to fulfilling this condition are added to improve the rate at which we can pass through our combo. Unfortunately, T.G.’s standard combo struggles to set up enough interruptions alone, so the engines used must offer something in addition, in many cases combining 2 different engines. The engines we’ll look at are the Dinosaur engine, the Assault Mode engine, the P.U.N.K. engine, the Sangan engine and the Deep Sea Diva engine. The only engine that takes up the entire deck is the Deep Sea Diva engine. In the cases of Assault Mode and P.U.N.K. engines, they are almost always combined with the Dinosaur engine, and the Sangan engine can be used virtually anywhere.
  195.
  196. #### Dinosaur Engine:
  197.
  198. {cards}(Souleating Oviraptor++2; Miscellaneousaurus++3; Fossil Dig++3; Ultimate Conductor Tyranno++1; Jurrac Aeolo++1)
  199.
  200. This engine centres around the synergy with the Dinosaur type T.G. Monster {T.G. Booster Raptor}. {Miscellaneousaurus} extends by Summoning T.G. Booster Raptor or the Tuner Monster {Jurrac Aeolo} from the deck, making it easier to make {Crystron Halqifibrax}. {Souleating Oviraptor} searches any Dinosaur from the deck, being able to search Miscellaneousaurus for a 1 card Crystron Halqifibrax, or in cases where you have Miscellaneousaurus already it can search {Ultimate Conductor Tyranno} to strengthen the end board, finally, it is able to search T.G. Booster Raptor in the case that there is no T.G. Monster in hand for {T.G. Trident Launcher} to special Summon. {Fossil Dig} searches for any of the Dinosaurs other than Ultimate Conductor Tyranno. Overall, this engine is considered the most effective for a variety of reasons, first, it allows you to smoke screen as Dinosaurs, baiting an incorrect interruption from the opponent. Secondly, the versatility of what Souleating Oviraptor can search makes it very adaptive to different opening hands. Finally, Ultimate Conductor Tyranno, when used alongside the Standard T.G. Combo, is able to provide a strong end board with multiple powerful interruptions.
  201.
  202. #### Assault Mode Engine
  203.
  204. {cards}(Emergency Teleport++2; One for One++1; Psi-Reflector++3; Assault Mode Activate++1; Assault Beast++1; T.G. Halberd Cannon/Assault Mode++0-1; Adamancipator Risen - Dragite++1; Draco Berserker of the Tenyi++0-1; PSY-Framelord Omega++1)
  205.
  206. The Assault Mode engine is a common engine used to make {Crystron Halqifibrax}, here we utilise it in much the same way. The best way to start is with a special Summon of {Psi-Reflector}, from {One for One} or {Emergency Teleport} for a 1 card Crystron Halqifibrax. This way, an early interruption by a hand trap is less likely to be a turn-ender. In addition to this, if you have enough in hand to set up the main combo separately from the Assault Mode engine, you can use Psi-Reflector to Synchro into a powerful Synchro Monster to improve the end board. These options are {Draco Berserker of the Tenyi}, {PSY-Framelord Omega} and {Adamancipator Risen - Dragite}. Where the use of the Assault Mode engine diverges from the standard Crystron Halqifibrax-based decks, is that we can actually use {Assault Mode Activate} for its effect, Summoning {T.G. Halberd Cannon/Assault Mode} after using {T.G. Halberd Cannon}’s effect for a second Summon negate. This engine is not without its shortcomings however. Assault Mode Activate is a hard garnet, which will almost always turn off the entire engine when drawn, in addition T.G. Halberd Cannon/Assault Mode and Assault Beast are also garnets, but not as devastating when drawn. This results in some rather frustrating bricks every so often, but is overall worth it as this engine when used in conjunction with Dinosaurs provides the most consistently powerful end boards.
  207.
  208. #### P.U.N.K. Engine
  209.
  210. {cards}(Emergency Teleport++2; Noh-P.U.N.K. Ze Amin++2-3; Noh-P.U.N.K. Foxy Tune++3; Joruri-P.U.N.K. Madame Spider++1; Joruri-P.U.N.K. Dangerous Gabu++1)
  211.
  212. Another popular Crystron Halqifibrax engine, this engine similarly makes a 1 card {Crystron Halqifibrax}, most effective when started with {Emergency Teleport} as it avoids committing to the Normal Summon making it easier to play past early interruption. This engine’s strength lies in its ability to play past interruption, using {Noh-P.U.N.K. Foxy Tune} and {Emergency Teleport} to extend if you are interrupted early. Of course, Foxy Tune is a hard once per turn, so opening the play with Foxy Tune will still result in you having to Normal Summon. The interruption set up by the engine is {Joruri-P.U.N.K. Dangerous Gabu}, a targeting Monster negate. This engine is best used in conjunction with the Dinosaur engine, often discarding {Miscellaneousaurus} with {Noh-P.U.N.K. Foxy Tune}. This additional interruption is more consistent than what Assault Mode can set up, but less impactful, and this really encompasses the difference between the two engines, Assault Mode is less consistent but more powerful, whilst P.U.N.K. is the more consistent but weaker option. This engine lacks any hard garnets and will be able to set up {Joruri-P.U.N.K. Dangerous Gabu} every time it’s used.
  213.
  214. #### Deep Sea Diva Engine
  215.
  216. {cards}(Deep Sea Diva++3; Neptabyss, the Atlantean Prince++3; Atlantean Dragoons++3; Deep Sea Minstrel++1-3; Moulinglacia the Elemental Lord++1; Lappis Dragon++1; Crusadia Arboria++1-3; T.G. Metal Skeleton; One for One; Small World++3; Baronne de Fleur++1; Salamangreat Almiraj++1)
  217.
  218. This is the largest of the engines run, and is typically used alone but it is possible to incorporate the Sangan engine alongside it. The engine centres around {Deep Sea Diva} and {Neptabyss, the Atlantean Prince}, using them to make {Crystron Halqifibrax} and proceed to the T.G. combo. The strength of this engine lies in its ability to protect itself from {Nibiru, the Primal Being} via {Deep Sea Minstrel}’s effect, and the hand loop effect provided by {Moulinglacia the Elemental Lord} which makes it more difficult for the opponent to play through your end board. After Normal Summoning Deep Sea Diva, it is possible to gain high amounts of card advantage through {Atlantean Dragoons}’ effect, and set up Moulinglacia, in some cases having the option to set up {Baronne de Fleur} using Moulinglacia as a material, at the cost of your next battle phase. The engine is able to perform very effectively when you see Neptabyss, the Atlantean Prince or Deep Sea Diva, but it becomes very weak without them, having to rely on extenders such as {Crusadia Arboria}..The main function of these extenders is to help play past interruption, but when you are forced to use them to start, the combo is much weaker. {T.G. Metal Skeleton} is a bridge for {Small World} and if necessary can be reduced to level 1 and used in the combo by the effect of {T.G. Screw Serpent}. The effect of Atlantean Dragoons can also be used to add T.G. Screw Serpent to the hand so that you can resolve the effect of {T.G. Trident Launcher}. Overall, while not a bad engine, the Deep Sea Diva Engine struggles somewhat in consistency, with many cards you don’t want to draw into, and is not the strongest in terms of potential end board.
  219.
  220. #### Sangan Engine
  221.
  222. {cards}(Sangan++3; Crusadia Arboria++1; Salamangreat Almiraj++1)
  223.
  224. A small engine that utilises {Sangan} as a 1 card combo to make {Crystron Halqifibrax}. It is easily jammed into any list, preferably those that have options without the Normal Summon. The main issue with this engine is that it doesn’t add anything to the end board, however it is very compact and an easy way to provide an additional starter to your deck.
  225.
  226.
  227. ---
  228.
  229. ## Tech & Staples
  230.
  231. Tech & staples are largely up to preference, but the most common ones will be covered. Alternative staples and alternative {Crossout Designator} targets can also be used.
  232.
  233. ### Monsters
  234.
  235. #### Ash Blossom & Joyous Spring
  236.
  237. {cards}(Ash Blossom & Joyous Spring++3)
  238.
  239. - A staple negation.
  240. - Can stop {Maxx "C"}.
  241.
  242.
  243. #### Maxx C
  244. {cards}(Maxx "C"++3)
  245.
  246. - A staple that allows for huge card advantage or for the complete stop of your opponent's turn.
  247. - Can win duels on its own.
  248.
  249.
  250. #### Nibiru, the Primal Being
  251. {cards}(Nibiru, the Primal Being++0-1)
  252.
  253. - Can wipe boards after 5 Summons.
  254. - Can be used as Link material for any Link Monsters in your deck that can use tokens.
  255. - Good target for {Crossout Designator}.
  256.
  257.
  258. #### Effect Veiler
  259. {cards}(Effect Veiler++0-2)
  260.
  261. - Can negate a Monster effect during your opponent's turn for some solid disruption.
  262. - Primarily used as a {Crossout Designator} target.
  263.
  264.
  265. #### Ghost Ogre & Snow Rabbit
  266. {cards}(Ghost Ogre & Snow Rabbit++0-1)
  267.
  268. - Quick effect destruction that can be useful to destroy one of your opponent's important cards like {Fateful Adventure}.
  269. - {Crossout Designator} target.
  270.
  271.
  272. ### Spells & Traps
  273.
  274.
  275. #### Called by the Grave
  276. {cards}(Called by the Grave++2)
  277.
  278. - Another staple used in almost every deck.
  279. - Can stop both of the above hand traps and can stop Monster GY effects.
  280.
  281.
  282. #### Crossout Designator
  283. {cards}(Crossout Designator++0-3)
  284.
  285. - Another way to negate any of the common hand traps.
  286. - Serves as good protection, if you have the space for it and all of the hand traps you want to avoid.
  287. - Almost necessary in the deck as if {Crystron Halqifibrax} or {T.G. Trident Launcher} are negated, the deck often crumbles.
  288.
  289.
  290. #### Infinite Impermanence
  291. {cards}(Infinite Impermanence++0-2)
  292.
  293. - Similar to {Effect Veiler}.
  294. - Can also negate any spell or trap cards activated in the same column.
  295.
  296.
  297. #### Forbidden Droplet
  298. {cards}(Forbidden Droplet++0-1)
  299.
  300. - Strong going second card, but does not have much synergy with this deck since most cards do not have GY effects.
  301. - Could still be useful if some Monsters absolutely must be negated before starting a combo.
  302. - Seeing as it is one of the biggest threats to {T.G. Star Guardian} and {T.G. Wonder Magician}’s Synchro Summon effect, this is used with {Crossout Designator} to prevent the negation of their second effects.
  303.
  304.
  305. #### Monster Reborn
  306. {cards}(Monster Reborn++0-1)
  307.
  308. - Staple comeback card that is useful for starting or extending combos.
  309.
  310.
  311. #### Harpie's Feather Duster
  312. {cards}(Harpie's Feather Duster++0-1)
  313.
  314. - Clearing out your opponents entire back row or baiting some sort of negation can come in handy to make sure your full combo goes through.
  315. - {Crossout Designator} target.
  316.
  317.
  318. #### Raigeki
  319. {cards}(Raigeki++0-1)
  320.
  321. - Fieldwipe that can force a negate or equalise a gamestate.
  322. - {Crossout Designator} target.
  323.
  324.
  325. ---
  326.

  447.
  448. 1. During your opponent's turn, use {T.G. Star Guardian}’s effect to Summon {Black Rose Dragon}, using {T.G. Recipro Dragonfly} as material. Make sure your chain Link activation is set to “ON”.
  449. 2. AFTER {Black Rose Dragon} is Summoned and its effect is activated (not resolved), chain {T.G. Wonder Magician}’s effect to Summon {Assault Blackwing - Onimaru the Divine Thunder}. Be sure that {Black Rose Dragon}’s effect is chain Link one, otherwise it will miss timing.
  450.
  451. This combo destroys your opponents entire board and leaves you with a non-destructible by card effects Monster that has 6000 attack points during the damage step. Note that this Monster can still be targeted by effects, and therefore, negated or removed by other means. It is not recommended to do this combo as it is not an OTK and takes up valuable extra deck space.

  648. ## Conclusion
  649.
  650. Thanks to {T.G. Trident Launcher}’s steep Summoning conditions and lock into T.G. Monsters, along with the negate heavy metagame of modern Yu-Gi-Oh, this is a deck that has a lot left to be desired. Most of the main deck Monsters have strong extension effects, but only when they are used in conjunction with several other T.G. cards.
  651.
  652. Its over reliance on {Crystron Halqifibrax} can also be unwieldy considering {Crystron Halqifibrax}’s limit to one. The dependency also eats up deck space, only leaving room for a few main deck T.G. Monsters when these engines are used with staples.
  653.
  654. Ultimately, this is a fun deck that is Diamond capable, but one that is seriously lacking in good in-archetype support that would allow for one to take full advantage of the versatility in Synchro Summons that the main deck can provide. In the future, new cards that would make Summoning {T.G. Trident Launcher} easier could send this deck to new heights.
