  2.
  3. 06:10:10 Genovel enters this room
  4.
  5. 06:10:29 [Genovel] I do not beleive Mero is on right now
  6.
  7. 06:10:33 [Genovel] How shall we proceed?
  8.
  9. 06:11:26 [General_GM] Hm...good question.
  10.
  11. 06:11:48 [General_GM] If he is not around, I will play instead
  12.
  13. 06:14:23 [Genovel] As him or as Grindstone?
  14.
  15. 06:15:35 [Genovel] Oh there he is!
  16.
  17. 06:15:42 [General_GM] Turns out he is here.
  18.
  19. 06:16:17 Ikund enters this room
  20.
  21. 06:16:18 >[Ikund] >> Classic Medieval Fantasy. More info at /whois RoBH_RP. Current scenario: At the base of the mountain range known as the Maw of Ataramakaris, there is a small outpost known as Kher Adain, named for the famous Dwarven hero who defended it singlehandedly from an infestation of creatures that the Dwarves call blindclaws. Kher Adain is a small trading-post; despite its size, it is the best place for outsiders to acquire Dwarven-crafted goods. As such, it is bustling with merchants and nobles, both human and Dwarf alike, seeking for the perfect deal. There is a nasty rumor circulating that the Bloody Hand has completed his campaign in Grakis and is seeking to march northwest, eyeing Tirdana as his next potential conquest, even though that would violate the terms of a previous agreement he made with the Duke. Tirdana is far away, but some of the nobility here hails from that melting-pot, seeking refuge in this trade town, hoping any potential war will blow over.

  25. 06:19:26 General_GM greets Ikund.

  27. 06:19:57 [Genovel] He doth not respond
  28.
  29. 06:20:12 [General_GM] He did to me a moment ago.

  39. 06:23:33 Herbs enters this room
  40.
  41. 06:23:57 General_GM greets Herbs.
  42.
  43. 06:24:13 Herbs is here, calm the fuck down and gimme a repost!
  44.
  45. 06:24:21 [Herbs] GM!
  46.
  47. 06:24:55 [General_GM] The creature barks a command that causes the rest of the slavering monsters to back away, looking on Herb with eager, eyeless faces. The speaker, though, appears to have been given pause by Herbs' claim. 'They take food from us,' the creature explains, 'like the Stonefathers. They do not pay us like the Stonefathers. We starve. No rocks, so we take flesh. We like flesh, too. They pay us, or stop taking rock, we stop taking flesh.' The creature sniffs the air again, wrinkling its nose as if it catches a scent it doesn't like. 'The stone is changed. Who has changed the stone?' The creature sounds agitated by this realization.
  48.
  49. 06:27:37 [Genovel] (Jenny is on standby until Herbs gives the word)
  50.
  51. 06:29:31 [Herbs] Really wish I could roll a few knowledge checks right now!
  52.
  53. 06:30:59 [Ikund whispers to General_GM] Is it cool to post?
  54.
  55. 06:31:58 [General_GM whispers to Ikund] You may.
  56.
  57. 06:32:08 [Ikund whispers to General_GM] Alright! I was just making sure.
  58.
  59. 06:34:59 Wynne` enters this room
  60.
  61. 06:35:27 Feona enters this room
  62.
  63. 06:35:35 [Feona] Hey guys.
  64.
  65. 06:35:44 Herbs crossed his arms and considered this. “So…the stone miners are taking your food? You eat the miners instead…and unless people pay you in rocks you won’t stop…but…” This really seemed strange. Herbs was pretty damn sure that there should’ve been enough fucking rocks for everyone. Still. “I…I’m really having trouble forgiving this. I mean could’ve fucking asked before you attacked? Right? You guys are making me work too hard and I’m not the guy paid to think. Find another rock source how fucking hard can that be? What stone is…” Herbert face palmed heavily. He was REALLY tempted to just have Gen come in bows blazing right now. “Just…slow down…be rational. Let’s try this again. There are no other rocks to eat? Because eating people is a big fucking no no where I come from.”
  66.
  67. 06:36:56 General_GM greets Wynne and Feona.
  68.
  69. 06:37:01 [Feona] Morning.
  70.
  71. 06:38:48 [Wynne`] Morning
  72.
  73. 06:39:00 [Feona] So what's going down?
  74.
  75. 06:39:39 [General_GM] Gen and Herbs are finishing up an adventure in a nearby monster den. Ikund has crazy plans, I am sure.
  76.
  77. 06:40:23 [Feona] Doesn't he always?
  78.
  79. 06:41:24 [Ikund] If he could make a plan out of a giant laser, a goldfish, and midgets, he completely would. >.>
  80.
  81. 06:41:34 [Feona] Rofl.
  82.
  83. 06:41:53 Coyote enters this room
  84.
  85. 06:42:37 [Wynne`] Brb. Fifteen minutes.
  86.
  87. 06:43:11 [General_GM] 'We eat rocks, not stone,' says the apparent leader. Apparently, there is some difference between the two. 'Stone is our home. Rocks are our food. Rocks are softer than stone. Can't eat stone. Stonefathers pay us, we trade for more rocks. But if rocks are taken without paying, we take flesh.' The creature clearly means something different when talking about rocks. The creature also is trying to explain it as one might to a child. The hungering mass seems to have receded for a moment; they are confused by the fact that they can understand Herbs, and take him for one of theirs.
  88.
  89. 06:43:51 [Ikund] Grakis was interesting to Ikund, mostly because of how they used magic. From the books he had managed to acquire a long while back, he was slowly remembering how to do actual, proper magic on the mortal plane instead of relying too much on his ‘gifts’, which while useful, were more or less a one-trick pony. In anything though, this was only a small portion of his problems. He had a map, but being out in the middle of the wilderness without a landmark was an issue. From what he could tell, he was almost literally out in the middle of absolute bumfuck nowhere. Not to mention he still didn’t quite know just what the hell was actually going on in the world, even though he had been around for a fair bit. That was the disadvantage to being him though. If there was one thing he was always trying to get, it was more information, because even he knew that information was power.
  90.
  91. 06:44:00 [Ikund] And right now, he needed to know just where the fuck he was.
  92.
  93. 06:45:58 Trance enters this room
  94.
  95. 06:46:04 [Trance] oo..
  96.
  97. 06:47:01 [Feona] Trance, you changed your character around again.
  98.
  99. 06:47:18 General_GM greets Trance.
  100.
  101. 06:48:08 [Trance] Oh.. Major overhaul. This host form is going to be realy hard to integrate into, but should be great.. No similarities at all to work with...
  102.
  103. 06:48:19 [Feona] ...?
  104.
  105. 06:48:26 [Feona] Whatever.
  106.
  107. 06:49:24 [Trance] Eh.. Immortal Trance uses mortal body, those die. Though, their time can and has often been extended.
  108.
  109. 06:50:05 [Trance] Sand color trance got cut into lots of peices..
  110.
  111. 06:50:24 [Trance] Silver trance got cursed by godess discord
  112.
  113. 06:51:05 [Trance] body andd the memories and soul fragment there in where just... lost.
  114.
  115. 06:53:12 [Coyote] goddess of discord curse seems more like you would transform into a rotten talking orange.
  116.
  117. 06:53:31 Feona is reminded of Annoying Orange. Shuddered.
  118.
  119. 06:53:34 [Herbs] Waiting on Gen's post or?
  120.
  121. 06:53:52 [Coyote] That's exactly what I was aiming for.
  122.
  123. 06:54:10 [Feona] Annoying Orange... So much rage...
  124.
  125. 06:54:19 [Trance] Actualy it transformed into a red four legged sky beast..
  126.
  127. 06:54:45 [Trance] thing...
  128.
  129. 06:54:56 [Trance] But pretty rotten none the less..
  130.
  131. 06:55:30 [General_GM] Gen has nothing to post on currently, Herbs.
  132.
  133. 06:55:38 [Coyote] That's not very discordian...
  134.
  135. 06:55:53 [Herbs] Point...fudge, posting.
  136.
  137. 06:55:56 [Trance] You didn't see the beast >.>
  138.
  139. 06:56:36 [Coyote] It has a natural and nomalous amount of limbs to start.
  140.
  141. 06:58:19 Herbs sighed heavily. “Okay I get it…you fucks are a lot of work to keep tame. I’ll see what I could do about having you guys paid. NO MORE ATTACKING PEOPLE until I get back and…figure something out. They want you dead not employed after all. Let’s not try to fuck the case up. Anything you can offer to sweeten the deal a bit? Like…you can help mine and get your share of rock and…maybe become part of the community I dunno…” Herbs was really trying his best here. He wasn’t the best diplomat but it was something.
  142.
  143. 06:59:24 [Trance] Think.. Feminized.. warped. Slimy.. Winged version of this. http://www.games-workshop.com/MEDIA_CustomProductCatalog/m2980803a_99120201021_SlaughterbruteMutalith01_445x319.jpg
  144.
  145. 06:59:30 [Trance] Still has four legs. >.>
  146.
  147. 07:00:26 [General_GM] Trance, Coyote, and Feona, I am running a scene here. Can I ask you to take your OOC to whisper if you aren't playing? Sorry to be that dude, but....
  148.
  149. 07:00:45 [Coyote] Uneven, I'll give it that. Still more Abyssal than Discordian imo.
  150.
  151. 07:00:45 [Trance] !!! You're gunna be that guy?!
  152.
  153. 07:00:52 [Coyote] sorry
  154.
  155. 07:02:23 [Trance] PFFFT You loathsome so on and so forth I have insert rage and quit exuse here. and for another thing! Last word, boast, and racist insult! Good DAY!
  156.
  157. 07:02:31 Trance exits from this room
  158.
  159. 07:02:40 [Wynne`] Back
  160.
  161. 07:05:18 [Feona] Welcome back.
  162.
  163. 07:06:20 [Wynne`] Thanks
  164.
  165. 07:10:40 [General_GM] 'But we hunger now, and have nothing. You will bring food, yes?' asks the leader, with the gibbering, stinking mass suddenly getting that hungry look again. 'One night, we wait. One night you have. Next night, we will take flesh again.' It is probably the best he's going to get out of this creature. Herbs' initial impression got him this far, but first impressions only last for so long. They also seem entirely uninterested in sweetening the deal - for them, not eating the population of Kher Adain seems to be enough.
  166.
  167. 07:10:50 [General_GM] Ikund finds himself, according to that handy map he's got, in the western side of Andarra, in territory actually claimed by the Dwarves of Mithril Gate - the trading outpost of Kher Adain. Not so diverse as Tirdana, but still a popular trading-stop for merchants, it is the closest the Dwarves of Mithril Gate will allow outsiders and the best place for said outsiders to acquire Dwarven goods. It is early evening, and there is a busy market still. Should Ikund choose to enter in a shape that isn't likely to get him mistaken for a marauding monster, the guards will let him pass.
  168.
  169. 07:13:34 Netsu enters this room
  170.
  171. 07:13:44 General_GM greets Netsu.
  172.
  173. 07:14:02 Netsu waves.
  174.
  175. 07:14:38 [Wynne`] Omigod, those things are talking about eating people, aren't they?! Grooooss!
  176.
  177. 07:16:19 Fish enters this room
  178.
  179. 07:17:03 Fish exits from this room
  180.
  181. 07:18:25 Herbs shook his head. “You guys…are fucking impossible.” He grumbled while placing his hands in the air. “Fine, one night is more than enough time.” With that he moved to when Gen was posted. “Okay. The way they spoke. They’re practically unable to coexist. You’re good at building things out of nowhere right? Anything lava proof? Need a wall that would last. I got a trick that’ll…practically drown them in lava. But, before that. I need to know every entrance in this place. We have a night to pull this off. Let’s get to work.”
  182.
  183. 07:20:44 [Wynne`] brb!
  184.
  185. 07:22:33 [Ikund] A town! Well, that was a great thing! That’s a major landmark; something he can use to actually see where the hell he was! After he figured out just where he was, he thought for a moment. What else could he get from this place? Information. He really needed that, and to catch up on the news. Shape-shifting into the form of a dwarf or human was out of the picture though: He didn’t really have clothes, and he wasn’t quite sure on the laws concerning indecent exposure…or if there was a bandit problem to blame it on. But there was more than one way to skin a cat! He shape-shifted into the form of a raven, and promptly took flight. Ravens weren’t so uncommon in areas where humans were, and he needed to figure out just where things were in this town anyway. Mostly, he needed to hang around a tavern. Hopefully, he could pick up on just what was going on. It was a place of chatter, after all.
  186.
  187. 07:26:45 Auvic enters this room
  188.
  189. 07:27:10 [Genovel] "Are.. you serious?" ~Genovel asked, looking at herbs as is he'd flipped his lid. He'd gone in there to talk and now he was all for killing them. Herbs didn't strike her as the patient kind, but what did she know? The clusterfuck mess of prepared kill zone seemed like a good idea now that talking had failed, as Genovel had not gotten any of the conversation from the Halfling.~ "Are you sure you want to kill them? Lava is precious, and is also overdoing it, by the way. It might cause more problems than it's worth. Say, why can't they coexist?" ~Genovel asked tersely, wanting to know what the problem was. She sure as hell didn't need him to get fussy with her later for not asking.~
  190.
  191. 07:35:08 Herbs crossed his arms. “Well, sadly I am. They think the town owes them.” The Halfling stretched out a bit before continuing. “Apparently the people in the town are mining up rocks, rocks that these fellows here eat.” He pointed a thumb behind himself. “They’re using this as an excuse for up and attacked people and eating them. If we don’t give them any rocks they won’t back down. They gave me a night to get them these rocks or they’ll keep on attacking. Thing is. They have nothing to offer for these rocks and well, both parties want the resources. They won’t actually work for pay either so…yeah…you kinda already know what the old dwarf back there would tell us to do even with this information. We’ve come to wipe them out, let’s do that.” Herbert than crossed his arms again and pondered on this. “Fine, seal all entrances and exits with something study enough that they can’t claw their way out. I’ll drop some Aherst Breath in there and they all die in their sleep. Perfectly humane.”
  192.
  193. 07:35:30 [Wynne`] Back
  194.
  195. 07:36:15 [Feona] Welcome back.
  196.
  197. 07:36:25 [General_GM] A raven goes relatively unnoticed and unbothered. Perched near (or even, perhaps, in - the rafters are high enough to be forgotten) the local tavern, raven-Ikund gets a good idea of local current events. Apparently, a group of people investigating the destruction of distant New Coldain have come to see Andaemus, a local magus of some renown. Althar Adain, the town's mayor, has hired some adventurers to deal with a monster problem. Speaking of Andaemus, apparently shortly before the New Coldain investigators arrived, he was having it out with Koryn, a local merchant who sometimes has strange goods, over a rod that Andaemus insists belongs to the New Coldain Enclave.
  198.
  199. 07:39:18 [Wynne`] Thanks!
  200.
  201. 07:39:49 [Feona] What's the TOD?
  202.
  203. 07:40:00 [General_GM] Early evening.
  204.
  205. 07:40:07 [Feona] Okay.
  206.
  207. 07:48:42 Feona swung the blunt end of her sword, knocking Wynne back as she blocked her superior strength, "You don't even know the basics well enough and you expect to fight?" She sighed, flipping her sword back hand and sliding it home into the scabbard on the back of her waist. She was barely sweating, having sparred with Wynne multiple times and easily trouncing her. She was gauging the youth's skills, "It seems we'll have to start from the very beginning." She said, crossing her arms before her armored chest, "That's enough for today though. The sun has set. Back to the inn for dinner and cleaning." She said, turning and making her way back to town. She had brought Wynne to the outskirts where they would not be disturbed.
  208.
  209. 07:48:53 [Feona] blunt edge**
  210.
  211. 07:49:10 [Ikund] Well, that information was a bit interesting! He was ironically not very interested about the adventurer bit, but only because managing to wipe a town wasn’t really a common event, and the fact that it seemed to be an absolute mystery to everyone. There was some potential for assets in this! His name was Koryn, wasn’t it? Well, if he’s a merchant, he couldn’t be all that hard to find! While Ikund was not one that liked simply beating around the bush, he was going to find this merchant. Besides, he doubted that everyone’s favorite wizard would cause an incident over a rod that was worth nothing, and Ikund was always looking for new and inventive ways to apply his magical power, as well as make it easier on himself when it came to casting. Once again, he took off, but to find the merchant in question this time. Hopefully, he could make this as inconspicuous as possible.
  212.
  213. 07:50:28 [Feona whispers to Ikund] You looking for the merchant selling the rod or the mage who is being investigated? 'Cause Koryn is the one selling the rod.
  214.
  215. 07:51:11 [Ikund whispers to Feona] I know.
  216.
  217. 07:51:22 [Ikund whispers to Feona] He's looking for the merchent.
  218.
  219. 07:51:23 [Feona whispers to Ikund] Just making sure you didn't misunderstand.
  220.
  221. 07:51:53 [Genovel] "You think they mean ore?" ~Genovel asked, getting annoyed for the moment with the constant referral to the genocide option. Also she wondered if they might be able to eat other things.~ "Look, just, calm down on the killing, if they'll talk, I might have something they can take. I'm loaded up on food from my private farm. Maybe they can eat potatos, or carrots." ~Genovel switched her inventory around so that while the halberd was still in the first spot, her personal supply of food was moved up to the numbered 'Hot key' slots. Potatos, their baked versions, bread, carrots, wheat, cooked steak and cooked porkchops. She dipped past the archway she'd made and descended wether or not Mero decided to follow. If they wanted ore, perhaps she could mine until finding a suitable vein for them to chew on.~
  222.
  223. 07:52:29 [Genovel] "Heeellooo! Peoples of the underground? Can we talk?"
  224.
  225. 07:52:59 [Feona] Genovel! Dig straight down1
  226.
  227. 07:53:16 Wynne` was tired. So tired. The blow that was sent at her was so...daunting. She'd never even had a weapon swung at her until Feona had started, and...well...it still intimidated her. She gripped her own sword with both hands and swallowed, sighing in relief as Feona sheathed her weapon, causing her to relax her arms as she lowered the point and tried to hide her discouraged frown. "I...I'm sorry, I'm just..." She murmured, before stopping. No. She was just excusing herself. She was weak. She knew she was! But...If she wanted to get stronger, she couldn't keep trying to just excuse herself for every issue she had. So she nodded and lifted her sword, reaching up to carefully guide it into the scabbard that she had slung over her back. It was easier for her to draw and use the sword this way, and she found it to feel a lot less cumbersome as well. Once it was back in it's scabbard, the hilt stuck up over her right shoulder and bobbed as she stepped forward, reaching up to wipe at <C>
  228.
  229. 07:53:22 [Genovel] (Oh god no)
  230.
  231. 07:54:22 Wynne` the persistent sweat on her forehead. "R-Right, Miss Feona." She murmured, nodding her head obediently and falling into step beside the woman as she trudged along, rolling her shoulders and trying to find a way to make the armor she wore not feel as heavy, and uncomfortable.
  232.
  233. 07:58:38 Herbs perked a brow. “Waaaaaaaiiiiiiiit. You were here to kill them all not five minutes ago…Now that I want to kill them YOU want to save them? Do you just get off on being contrary?” The Halfling protested. “Your hopeless, but take this.” Herbert shook up another Extract of Tongues and held it in his hands. He then placed his hand on Genovel and ‘injected’ it into her. “Now they could understand you. If they still prove to be unreasonable…I’m blowing them up personally.”
  234.
  235. 07:59:51 [Genovel] (All i have to say is 'Minecraft Server Players', they'll do anything to spite anyone no matter how petty)
  236.
  237. 08:01:17 [Herbs] LOL!
  238.
  239. 08:04:12 [Genovel] (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QoIE04AqDgI&list=SP30967AD6BAD7BD7F)
  240.
  241. 08:08:48 Feona made her way back to the inn where she walked in and to the room she had bought. She opened the door and removed her helmet, placing it on the desk. She shook her head to fix her hair a bit before removing her shield and sword belt, setting them against the wall. Then she sat down and began stripping away her armor. Beneath the armor she wore padded linen clothing that kept the armor from chafing her body.
  242.
  243. 08:09:01 Herbs is still working on the REAL Pearl Toaster.]
  244.
  245. 08:10:03 [General_GM] The creatures, who had just started to descend after their discussion with Herbs, surge up the stairs again, once more falling over each other to get at the scent of new prey. Once again, an order is given in a guttural tongue, and the big one, holding a stone staff of some kind, speaks. 'Talk. I talk. You come to pay us for rocks?' Herbs' initial attempt at diplomacy makes Jenny's possible. Without the benefit of that potion, though, the creature is hard to understand, and the lesser ones do not understand her at all.
  246.
  247. 08:10:13 [General_GM] Koryn, in fact, is not hard to find. He seems to be unhappy; after his row with Andaemus, the crowd seems to be finding other merchants to patronize. As Ikund reaches him, he seems to be packing up for the evening, perhaps preparing to go home to his exasperated wife. The market as a whole, though, is still going strong, with one set of merchants slowly being replaced by a second set.
  248.
  249. 08:10:23 [General_GM] The inn is hopping as twilight approaches. Merchants wanting to spend the day's earnings find themselves in the commons, mostly discussing the altercation between Andaemus and Koryn and Andaemus' subsequent removal from the scene. More than a few wonder about the strangers that whisked the wizard away, some of the townsfolk recognizing Feona and Wynne who find themselves with a couple of drinks waiting for them when they enter.

  251. 08:12:42 Coyote enters this room
  252.
  253. 08:12:44 The_Man_in_Red enters this room
  254.
  255. 08:13:20 Wynne` followed her back in silence, reaching the room and climbing the stairs despite the fact that she just wanted to collapse onto the floor of the building and lay there in a puddle of her own sweat. Ah, that would've been nice. Instead she struggled her way up to the second floor, fighting gravity every step of the way, and then entered the room behind Feona, collapsing onto her bed and groaning as she felt the armor dragging her down onto the matress, her lips parting in a slow groan. "Nnnnggg...I think I'm just gonna sleep..." She mumbled into her pillow.
  256.
  257. 08:13:54 The_Man_in_Red enters and stretches out with a yawn.
  258.
  259. 08:15:08 [The_Man_in_Red] Morning!
  260.
  261. 08:15:25 [Ikund] He was already packing up? Perfect. Ikund needed to ask questions outside of the public’s eye, and he was getting ready to go home. This meant that he wasn’t going to be waiting very long. He watched with interest, though he was also keeping an eye out for anything else. After all, being alert was damn important to survival.
  262.
  263. 08:16:03 Feona removed her final gauntlet, setting it aside. She pulled a dagger belt from her pack and put it on her waist, "Suit yourself. If I come up here and see you sleeping without your armor, I will wake you with ice water." She told Wynne, completely serious. She made her way downstairs for a few drinks, seeing as a number of patrons offered them for free. Outside her armor, she was a beauty of a woman in her prime. Shoulder length blonde locks, golden eyes and subtle curves. Not quite buxom but still attractive, nonetheless.
  264.
  265. 08:16:40 General_GM greets Red.
  266.
  267. 08:16:46 [Genovel] "I have several sources of food available that might be edible for your kind, to trade, if they do not interest you, I am willing to mine and search for your preferred type of rock, in the interest of protecting the town from your attacks." ~Genovel explained, placing a wooden crafting table on the floor, and using it's leather mat top, and then placed a stone-brick to either side and layed out one of each of the food kinds along the block surfaces, curiously also choosing to place both a ruby (Fist sized, no less, as those in the Island Terrarria were half-people sized, this was a chip off one), and an emerald out as well. Aware that dragons could eat gems, genovel predicted that perhaps these creatures did too.~
  268.
  269. 08:18:50 Herbs passes.
  270.
  271. 08:20:42 Wynne` just stared as Feona's armor was removed, looking at her with a beaming smile behind the pillow that she tucked into her face. So pretty. Feona was...She was what Wynne wanted to be when she grew up. Got older. If she could look even half as pretty as her, then...That would just be amazing! She nodded eagerly when the woman reminded her of how she'd be woken up if she took the armor off, and then she was gone. Wynne rolled over onto her back and sighed, her hand rising to loosen her breastplate before she reached beneath it and tugged the small pendant her father had given her free, looking it over and rubbing the worn surface with her thumb, smiling faintly. I'm becoming stronger...For you. For all of you. She shut her eyes and dozed off. Just a short little nap.
  272.
  273. 08:33:04 [Feona] Gm, you posting?
  274.
  275. 08:36:11 [Genovel] (Maybe he was drawn off to a meeting)
  276.
  277. 08:36:36 Satyra enters this room
  278.
  279. 08:37:53 [General_GM] [ suprising meeting! brb ]
  280.
  281. 08:38:19 Satyra always seems to come in when GM has to take off.
  282.
  283. 08:43:16 [General_GM] [ back. ]
  284.
  285. 08:43:23 Genovel is totally psychic
  286.
  287. 08:43:57 [General_GM] [ I was in the middle of typing my post when I got pulled into that. sorry, co-managers fighting and feeling the need to drag me into it...]
  288.
  289. 08:44:30 [Herbs] Welp, gives me time to...design shit...and reroute the liguids.
  290.
  291. 08:44:35 [Herbs] liquids*
  292.
  293. 08:44:47 [Wynne`] I gotta brb! Gotta do some work! 15 or 20 minutes!
  294.
  295. 08:48:11 [The_Man_in_Red] That just means you're dependable, GM!
  296.
  297. 08:48:43 [The_Man_in_Red] Keep your hopes up high, your head down low, and soon you'll see them both get fired while you get promoted!
  298.
  299. 08:50:14 [Ikund] uhhh
  300.
  301. 08:50:31 [Auvic] ...wot.
  302.
  303. 08:50:46 [Ikund] ...Know what? Nothen.
  304.
  305. 08:50:50 Xukhezur enters this room
  306.
  307. 08:50:55 The_Man_in_Red silverlined the hell out of that. Doesn't actually know what he's talking about. :D
  308.
  309. 08:54:04 [The_Man_in_Red whispers to Ikund] Sup, Genaros! Godzilla's player, here.
  310.
  311. 08:54:30 [Ikund whispers to The_Man_in_Red] Nothen much.
  312.
  313. 08:54:54 [The_Man_in_Red whispers to Ikund] Same here.
  314.
  315. 08:58:50 Serena_Havord enters this room
  316.
  317. 08:59:28 [General_GM] The creatures watch with wonder as Genovel places her table, and then the various foodstuffs. When she places the ruby and emerald, though, one of the lesser creatures snatches at them, only to have its filthy claw batted away by the larger one with its staff. 'That is rock,' says the leader, pointing at the ruby. He repeats himself, pointing at the emerald. 'We do not know these other things,' he says, pointing at the veggies. Genovel's suspicion is correct; they eat gems, apparently.
  318.
  319. 08:59:36 [General_GM] Ikund does not need to wait long. His stall is packed up and he moves his things, with the assistance of an unhappy but long-suffering packmule, he begins to leave the market row and head back to his home, located on the outskirts of the city.
  320.
  321. 09:00:26 General_GM greets people who have entered since his last post, because meetings.
  322.
  323. 09:00:32 [Feona] No response for me, GM? I went to the Inn bar.
  324.
  325. 09:00:43 [Feona] Where they were offering drinks, remember?
  326.
  327. 09:01:04 [General_GM] Right, and some were waiting for you. Did you do something else I missed?
  328.
  329. 09:01:33 [Feona] I just thought you might have had more detailed interaction in mind.
  330.
  331. 09:01:35 [The_Man_in_Red] I'm typing a post. I'll be looking for Andaemus after breakfast.
  332.
  333. 09:01:44 [Feona] She is an attractive woman, after all.
  334.
  335. 09:01:46 [General_GM] One moment, I'll add one.
  336.
  337. 09:01:47 [Wynne`] Wynne will be waking up soon!
  338.
  339. 09:01:51 [Feona] Red, it's early evening.
  340.
  341. 09:01:57 Serena_Havord exits from this room
  342.
  343. 09:02:01 [Feona] Not breakfast time.
  344.
  345. 09:02:11 [The_Man_in_Red] D: Oh poopsie.
  346.
  347. 09:02:36 [Feona] You can say you already went through stuff and recap.
  348.
  349. 09:02:49 [Ikund] Ikund was of course, going to follow. He was expecting that he was going to be keeping his goods inside his house. It wouldn’t be entirely too hard to simply steal it, or at least he was thinking it wouldn’t be hard, but he had some questions. Like just why the town’s favorite mage would be wanting it.
  350.
  351. 09:03:05 [Feona] I'm sure GM will provide you with whatever information you may need.
  352.
  353. 09:03:30 [Wynne`] Hmmm...Debating on having Wynne sneak out
  354.
  355. 09:05:07 [General_GM] As Feona comes down to receive the drinks that...mysterious admirers have paid for, she finds the tender curious enough to grill her about the day's events. The tender is a Dwarf (big surprise there) and his bar is raised up so that he can walk easily along it and be seen over the counter. 'Folks want to know what you were doing with old Andaemus,' the Dwarf asks, 'No one has seen him so flustered in quite some time. Some folk have suspicions, y' see. Not everyone likes him.'
  356.
  357. 09:05:24 The_Man_in_Red might go practice and train in the yard behind the Inn.
  358.
  359. 09:07:27 Tezorihedrachadros enters this room
  360.
  361. 09:09:19 Manfred enters this room
  362.
  363. 09:09:38 Feona accepted the drinks, one at a time of course. She took a swig from her first drink as the dwarf began speaking to her. She stood at the counter, leaning on it a bit with her forearms on the counter, "Well, my friend suspected he had something to do with New Cordain's(sp?) destruction so we just asked him some questions. I really shouldn't go into details without my friends here." She said cautiously. She didn't want to spoil Argyle's investigationg by unintentionally getting civilians involved.
  364.
  365. 09:09:59 [Genovel] "I come from an island where these rocks are uncommon, to find, but are densly packed in large, large veins. These other things are vegetables that can be grown in the dirt, if you would like to sample some of them, they are easy to grow and can be planted in large groups. It may be a good source of food inbetween exploring for sources of rock, if you can eat them. The cooked meat I have collected from livestock, if you can eat people, then you can eat animals. Men of the surface keep groups of animals and breed them for food, perhaps if you could work out an agreement, they could keep you fed." ~Genovel explained, liking Herb's initial idea of talking it out suddenly much better. She also wanted to bring up edible mushrooms, but her recent stock had been turned into potions.~
  366.
  367. 09:11:39 [The_Man_in_Red] Argyle sat on the grass behind the Inn. He was cross-legged with his hands placed on his knees and his eyes closed. His breath was relaxed, as was his mind. The arcane paladin was meditating. Normally, when it came down to it, meditation wasn't what everyone expected it to be. One didn't focus on clearing the mind, because in order to think of nothing, one had to focus on something to remove all other things from the mind. Argyle, because of this, simply watched his thoughts. He did not force them away, but rather observed them in a most disconnected fashion. It was like watching a play unfold before his very eyes, and it not only restored his mind's acute senses and energy, it was also quite relaxing and entertaining. It was also a great way to discover how to seperate the Ego from the Id, if you believed in that psychological theory.
  368.
  369. 09:12:33 [Feona] I remember that theory. Just learned about it last week.
  370.
  371. 09:12:43 [Feona] I don't remember all the details though.
  372.
  373. 09:12:44 [Herbs] Genovel...WE NEED TO TALK!]
  374.
  375. 09:13:31 [Genovel] (Lol what about)
  376.
  377. 09:13:36 [Ikund] XD
  378.
  379. 09:14:55 Ironbelly enters this room
  380.
  381. 09:15:22 Wynne` wasn't sure what she was trying to accomplish by napping. She woke up only a few minutes later, lips curled downward and her fingers still wrapped around the pendant. She replaced it beneath her breastplate and retightened it before rolling over and stumbling to her feet. She walked across the room, lips quirked downward as she peered out the window. She still hadn't gotten a chance to really...look around without Feona there. And she really wanted to explore...Just to see things. So the window was thrown open and she leaned out of it before grimacing. High! She ducked back inside and took a deep breath before she shut her eyes tight and steeled herself. Out the window she went, one leg, and then the other, gripping the sill as she peered down and took a deep breath before she began to inch downward. She didn't even notice Argyle. Her greave scraped against the side of the inn and she reached down to grab a handhold...Felt her fingers, weak from sword practice, giving out before the <C>
  382.
  383. 09:15:28 [Ikund whispers to General_GM] Really, Ikund is gonna wait for him to go inside his home and get all settled in.
  384.
  385. 09:16:30 Wynne` <C> weight of her armor took it's toll and she slid down the side, scrambling to find something to grab on to before her boot hit the wall and pushed off and she fellt backwards, hitting the ground on her back and grunting softly. The breath came out of her and she wheezed, holding her stomach as her head throbbed distantly. "Oh...Ooow..."
  386.
  387. 09:16:43 Celeese enters this room
  388.
  389. 09:18:50 [Genovel] (MINECRAFT SERVER PLAYERS IM STEALING YOUR QUEST XP)
  390.
  391. 09:18:55 [Feona] You do realize Feona wouldn't have forbid her from exploring...
  392.
  393. 09:19:09 [Feona] The sneaking out was very unnecessary.
  394.
  395. 09:19:41 The_Man_in_Red is going to point that out, seeing how Wynne landed close to him. xD
  396.
  397. 09:19:59 Manfred exits from this room
  398.
  399. 09:20:14 [Feona] Lol.
  400.
  401. 09:20:37 [Feona] "You do realize she wouldn't have stopped you from leaving, right?" "FFFFFFFFFFFFFFUUUUUUUUUUUUUU"
  402.
  403. 09:23:03 [The_Man_in_Red] "You know," the red clad warrior began, with his eyes still closed. "The stairs aren't broken." An eye opened to look at the silly girl. "What's the reason for sneaking out? Your mentor may be tough, but she's not a tyrant. She would have let you outside if you would have just asked." Oh derpsicles. Wynne had just busted her bum for nothing. "You look tired. Come sit with me and take a moment to catch your breath."
  404.
  405. 09:23:42 [Wynne`] xDDD
  406.
  407. 09:23:51 [Feona] Lol.
  408.
  409. 09:28:05 [General_GM] [ Breaktime. I shall return. ]
  410.
  411. 09:28:27 [General_GM whispers to Ikund] Let me know what you want to find out from him and I will have a response tomorrow. ]
  412.
  413. 09:28:48 [General_GM whispers to Ikund] I know you turn in around the time I normally go on break.
  414.
  415. 09:29:22 Herbs exits from this room
  416.
  417. 09:30:02 Feona shall wait for GM.
  418.
  419. 09:30:21 [Feona] Wynne, go ahead and post. You're not associating with anyone but Red right now anyway.
  420.
  421. 09:30:25 [Ikund whispers to General_GM] Alright. Ikund wants to know who he got the rod from, just why the town's favorite wizard wants the rod...let's see...
  422.
  423. 09:30:26 The_Man_in_Red is waiting on Wynne.
  424.
  425. 09:31:08 Wynne` opened her eyes and stared up at the sky, before turning to glance over at Argyle. Oh! She felt...really dumb. The girl's cheeks flushed a bright red and she slowly pushed herself up into a sitting position before lifting a hand to rub the back of her skull. "Nnng...W-What...? She...would have?" She had assumed that Feona would have forbade it! Damn! She rolled over onto her hands and feet and crawled over to where he was sitting, before collapsing next to him and groaning. "I am tired, sir...But...I can't give up...If...If I keep acting weak, then...Feona might...she might stop helping me...And.." She lowered her head, reaching up to scrub at those blonde bangs. "...Well...Then I'd just be nobody again..." She chimed.
  426.
  427. 09:32:21 [Wynne`] Brb
  428.
  429. 09:32:47 [Ikund whispers to General_GM] Of course, if he can help it he'll be taking the rod with him as well, and push the whole 'someone might of used it to summon fucking demons' card. Actually, if anything, he's fairly sure there's still the other party that would give him answers, though he would rather browbeat a merchant than try the same thing with a wizard.
  430.
  431. 09:32:55 [Feona] Hehe, what Wynne doesn't realize is that Feona actually would encourage staying out late because training starts at the crack of dawn, no matter how tired she is.
  432.
  433. 09:33:11 [Feona] The more exhaustion, the more she pushes.
  434.
  435. 09:34:59 [Feona] Just ask Argyle how many apprentices actually lasted through Feona's training regime.
  436.
  437. 09:38:23 [Wynne`] >.>
  438.
  439. 09:38:30 [Wynne`] Noooo
  440.
  441. 09:38:31 [The_Man_in_Red] Argyle chuckled. "Come now," he said as his eyes opened to gaze fully at Wynne. "Do you honestly believe that?" the man asked. "No matter how new we may be as a team," he said, offering a comforting smile. "We're a team. And teams can't quit on each other, no matter how difficult or impossible things look." He then stood up, walked to Wynne, and placed a comforting hand on her shoulder. Then he leered in and whispered so that only she could hear his next words. "So even if that grumpy old mentor of yours throws her hands up in the air, stomps, hoots, and hollers to the stars that she's done, I'll put a boot on her rump and make sure she comes back for you." He gave her an impish smile at that. "How's that for a deal?" Aw, look how paternal he's being! It's almost a kodak moment in medieval times!
  442.
  443. 09:40:22 [The_Man_in_Red] Why do you think I just said that? xD
  444.
  445. 09:41:48 [Feona] Lol. Here's the thing though. Feona doesn't give up. The apprentices do.
  446.
  447. 09:42:04 [Feona] Because they are weak and can't handle it.
  448.
  449. 09:42:57 The_Man_in_Red won't let that happen either.
  450.
  451. 09:43:03 [Tezorihedrachadros] ~His misadventures in human form have disuaded Tezori from trying again to look upon the inhabitants in their own image. The body of a human, no matter how tough was too clumsy and slow, at least, for his second attempt in it. While people were for the most part, disdainful or terrified of dragons, his keen wit had taught him that young creatures such as small kittens or puppies were universally adored and trusted! This great wisdom he would enact, gliding over the walls as a tiny-hatchling, no bigger than a sizeable rabbit. Micro-horns mere stubs, the dragon was far more comfortable being petit than a human. He picked out the tavern he'd espied from yesterday and settled upon it's roof, claws clattering on the rafters and scooting about on all fours, wings folding in. Now was the time to observe the weaklings of Kher'Adain for the future conquest of The Dark Mother! Or maybe just screw around and get out of work. Eyes on his first targets? Argyle and Wynne, the only two directly outside -
  452.
  453. 09:43:13 [Tezorihedrachadros] - that were not guards on watch.~
  454.
  455. 09:43:29 [Tezorihedrachadros] (No more walking into the follow: Mero, Wooden posts)
  456.
  457. 09:43:34 [Tezorihedrachadros] following*)
  458.
  459. 09:44:13 [Feona] How much does dragonling scales go for on the market, Argyle?
  460.
  461. 09:44:55 [Feona] Two, maybe three platinum apiece?
  462.
  463. 09:45:17 [Tezorihedrachadros] (That's opening a can of worms you don't want)
  464.
  465. 09:45:24 [The_Man_in_Red] Depends on the dragon. Wyrmling can fetch you a few gold pieces, but you want to get the adult scales. Those are versatile and can be made into more than golden trinkets.))
  466.
  467. 09:45:32 [Feona] I see.
  468.
  469. 09:45:47 Adani enters this room
  470.
  471. 09:47:08 Wynne` smiled faintly at Argyle's reassuring words. Strong. She could be strong. That would be...that would be great. The thought of becoming a great warrior like either of them thrilled her, and her lips curled upward as she clasped her hands together and nodded. "Oh...Okay!" She staggered to her feet, a clumsly but purposeful movement that allowed her to turn around and lift a hand to point a finger towards the window she had climbed out of. "I won't give up. I'm going to go up there and ask Feona if we can extend lessons! I...I'll get stronger for everyone!" She turned to smile up at the window, and then..."...D...Dragon!" But...of the small, and actually...Slightly adorable variety. Her peering towards that high window made it easier for her to spot the red whelp and when she did her eyes widened. "Sir Argyle, look! A baby dragon! It's...It's..." She smiled. "It's so cute! Look at it!" She demanded he admire it with her. This was the only course.
  472.
  473. 09:55:12 [The_Man_in_Red] Adani, would you lke to post in before I do?
  474.
  475. 09:55:50 [Adani] (It's up to you, I'm just doing a sort of intro post :D)
  476.
  477. 09:57:05 [The_Man_in_Red] Argyle and Wynne are behind the inn, Tezor just should up, and I think what's about to happen is that red flags are about to flare up for both Tez and Red.
  478.
  479. 09:58:04 [Adani] ah, awesome
  480.
  481. 09:58:44 [Adani] :slowly sat up in her head. Her eyes were still squinting and her hair was a mess. She looked around the empty room for a moment and down at her book that apparently she had slept with. After a good yawn and stretch, Adani stumbled out of bed and went to get dressed. It still felt like early morning. She couldn't put a finger on how late she stayed up, but she must've slept in quite a bit. The sun shown through the window and the sound of a busy town could be heard through the walls. A few moments later, Adani walked out of her room inn. Her first destination? Coffee, of course. She slowly made her way to lobby, walking like a lost zombie. It wouldn't take much time and then she could find her group with a straight head on.
  482.
  483. 09:58:53 [Adani] bed*
  484.
  485. 09:59:03 [Adani] wow, already making typos XD
  486.
  487. 10:01:51 [Feona] Adani, there is no sun. It's early evening.
  488.
  489. 10:01:58 [Feona] Like, around 6pm.
  490.
  491. 10:02:18 [Adani] (lol, crap, should grabbed the ToD first)
  492.
  493. 10:02:30 [Feona] Also, Feona's at the bar in the lobby so you'll see her. Though, might not recognize her without her armor.
  494.
  495. 10:02:46 [Feona] She's in trousers and a long sleeved tunic.
  496.
  497. 10:03:28 [Adani] (okay, cool. So...she woke up, it's evening, either way, she needs a drink XD)
  498.
  499. 10:03:59 [The_Man_in_Red] ...You do realize you're sharing a room with Argyle, right Adani?
  500.

  532.
  533. 10:10:41 Feona spotted Adani coming down the stairs and approaching the bar, "Hey, give one of those drinks to my friend here." She said, moving to where Adani was, "You sure slept for a while. Stay up late last night?" She asked. She seemed like a different person witohut that armor. Adorned in padded brown linen trousers and a long sleeved tunic. Boots on her feet. shoulder length blonde hair and golden eyes. Curves in the right places but not overly buxom. She was an attractive woman.
  534.
  535. 10:16:17 [The_Man_in_Red] The man was looking at her and smiling at her determination. She was a pretty lass, and full of fire. There wasn't a doubt that she would make a great adventurer, if her nerves could handle the danger. "Why don't you wait until tomorrow when you're rested? You can hurt yourself from over-exerting." And then... Dragon. His senses went off, and it caused a sick, twisted feeling contort his stomach like an icy hand gripped his stomach. He knew the feeling all too well. It was fear. Fear for Wynne, fear for Kher Aldain, and fear that the dragon would harm everyone here if given the chance. Yes, for as powerful as Argyle seemed to be as the party's leader, he, too, felt fear. So when he turned, and he saw the red dragon, his eyes locked with it as all of the warning senses that his lord and master Bahamut had bestowed him flared to life. Argyle's blood ran cold. "Wynne," the man said. +
  536.
  537. 10:17:09 [The_Man_in_Red] "Don't make any sudden moves. I want you to get inside the inn, and get Feona. Then you take Adani, and you wait for me to tell you when it's safe." Wait, why the sudden reaction? Why would Argyle react this way to something so small? "That's no wyrmling." Oh. Shit.
  538.
  539. 10:27:51 [Tezorihedrachadros] ~The reaction Wynne had was priceless, but Argyle's was alarming. If he could sweat, Tezori would have. He puffed his tiny body up and pranced to the edge of the roof, easily able to hear the conversation down below. He wasn't an ordinary dragon, infact, he was only a half-breed, though, given his form, it wasn't easy to tell. Tez clutched the edge of the roof and looked down at the male who had meant to shoo Wynne inside to safety.~ "You can see through my form then?" ~The common tongue was not Tez's favorite, and his tiny form made it sound a little bit too cute.~ "si mi ti malsvir, jlaa" ~The gutteral barking in Draconic followed, hatchling sitting on his haunches to look at the man below.~ "sia ominak ui.. Tezorihedrachadros, deevdru di Socarilshochraos" ~Tail lifted up and patted on the rafters. He did not know what to make of Argyle yet, and so remained neutral.~

  548.
  549. 10:34:28 Wynne` turned back to look at Argyle, spinning then to look to the little dragon, her eyes wide and blinking confusedly. "B-But...Argyle, it's just a baby...What's the problem...?" That's no wyrmlying. Her eyes widened a titch and she looked back at the creature as it suddenly spoke in...Common? This caused her to start, before she turned and nodded furiously, rushing around the side of the inn and powering through the door. Her heart beat had picked up, her blood pumping quicker...She didn't even notice that she wasn't sweating, despite the damnned cumbersome armor, when she rushed in and flicked her head to toss loose blonde bangs from her too-blue eyes. "F...Feona!! Argyle sent me! There's...Theres a dragon outside! He...He told me to get you and...to stay inside! To wait until he came back!" She flushed, lowering her head. "...It...It looked like a baby, but he said...it wasn't...So.." She shrugged helplessly, not quite sure what to do next. But...She had this faint <C>
  550.
  551. 10:35:36 Wynne` <C> impression that her mentor wasn't just going to sit inside while Argyle dealt with the issue...And...For that matter, she really didn't want to either. She pursed her lips, steeling herself. "Should...Should we help?" She murmured inquisitively.
  552.
  553. 10:42:13 [Adani] :stood near Feona, drink in hand as Wynne rushed into the building. Adani didn't even notice, but after a dragon was mentioned, her ability to detect magic almost immediately picked up a strong presence just outside. She turned towards Fenoa, setting her drink on the counter top. "Looks like it's true." She was then feeling a bit torn. She also wanted to help her new mentor, but did not want to disobey him so readily. How absurd. Why was she even giving it a thought? If it was no big deal then the end result would just be anti-climatic. If it was a dire situation, then despite how impressive Argyle's abilities were, a second hand never hurt anyone. "I'm going to offer my assistance." she commented as she walked towards the door. Not like Wynne told her she had to stay inside as well anyway.
  554.
  555. 10:42:48 [The_Man_in_Red] Argyle's hand was almost on his sword hilts when Tezo spoke. His hands paused. A conflict in his nature came. Tezori was a red chromatic dragon. He was also claiming not to be evil. While Red dragons were incredibly powerful, and very much so a brutal breed... they were not known to lie or use guile. They were too confrontational. Argyle's eyes narrowed, but the teachings of Bahamut had already come to mind. Defend the innocent. The man in red lowered his hands. "Si mi Aargylede," he said with an authoritive voice. The dialogue in which he spoke, the accent of the languages... Argyle's dialect was flawless. "Maekrix di wer ux Jedark Knights. Si mi wer harkt gix di wer ux darastrix. Svabol drinlekih tir wux tepoha tenpiswo?"

  561. 10:50:45 Feona looked to Wynne as she came in and spoke of a dragon. Then Adani moved to leave. She grabbed Adani's arma dn pushed the girl roughly against the wall, holding her there with a stern expression, "Assistance? I don't think so." She looked at Wynne, "Argyle knows these things. If he says he says it's a dragon, it's a dragon. You two going out there would be suicide." She released Adani, "Wynne, retrieve my sword." She commanded. Once her sword was brought, she took it in hand. Then she placed a hand over the blade, "Blade of steel, I bestow thee. Dragon Slayer." She spoke, almost rhythmically. Adani would recognize it as an enchantment spell. Then with a pair of lightly glowing fingers she slid a magical aura across the sword blade. The blade gave a subtle flash as one enchantment was placed and another removed. The weapon was returned to it's 6 pound weight, "You two stay in here. If a fight occurs, run to the guard barracks and warn them." She commanded them sternly. She made her way outside but <C>
  562.
  563. 10:51:25 Feona <C> did not move any further than the corner of the inn, staying out of sight. She waited. She knew Argyle was skilled in diplomacy and would allow him to try and talk the beast down or whatever he was doing.

A boy, seven or eight years old materialized from the receding mass that closed in and was absorbed into the pores of his skin, leaving him in a loose linen shirt and shorts, both dyed tan, leather boots. He possessed the curving horns of his draconic form, starting near the back of the skull, they ended near the top of his pointed, elfin ears. Unkept hair was loose, but short, stopping at the top of the eyes, though hanging a tad further in back. He was a bit muscularly developed for a litle one, however.~ "Did the idea of stabbing me excite you? And yes, I'm actually a Wyrmling, even though I'm capable of an adult body. I'm only five years old, to be honest."
  570.
  571. 11:05:49 Wynne` was at a loss. Adani and her...stay home? B-But...That was...She blinked, quickly turning to rush upstairs to the room and grab Feona's sword, rushing back down to the first floor with it and handing it off with a frown as the woman prepared herself. Am I...that weak, then? Her head was lowered, lips curled downward into a disappointed frown as she tried to understand the reasoning behind it. But when Feona gave her an order...She nodded reluctantly. "Oh...Okay...If you say so, Miss Feona..." She murmured, licking her lips and turning to Adani with a helpless shrug. She didn't know why the other girl was getting benched. Especially since she seemed pretty experienced, compared to the poor Peasant Warrior. Wynne the Worthless, it seemed. She collapsed into a chair and used the toe of her boot to pick at the floorboards.

  574.
  575. 11:10:09 Adani folded her arms and let out a huff of frustration as Feona left the inn. She couldn't really bring up the fact that she was well suited for the situation, so she continued to play her 'naive apprentice' role. Feona would be of great help in any fight, she a very strong woman, but it kinda urked her that she was so easily demoted to a warning bell. After a moment of calming down, Adani walked back to the counter and grabbed her drink again. If things really did take a turn for the worse, it would be easy enough to warn the town guard and then help in the fight. However, she doubted that a fight would so easily break out. Argyle was a rather peaceful sort of man, a trait she appreciated. She looked over at Wynne, as expected, she was also a bit devastated about being left behind. Adani stepped over to her, light patting her on the shoulder. "Do not worry. Feona respects your strength as a warrior, but is worried about harm coming upon her apprentice." She looked back to the entrance of the inn. <C>
  576.
  577. 11:10:25 [Adani] "If things do turn out badly, you may be able to prove yourself yet." she said, thinking the same thing about herself. <E>

  627. 11:46:20 [The_Man_in_Red] Argyle's hands receeded, but slowly. "Siofme ti svaklar sia cha'sidic wharac," the Red said in a tone that gave no yield. Nomenoi xiekivi re vrinpict ekess tepoha creolna ekess troth astahi." He stood still while Tezo transformed, bearing elven similarites. Argyle remained stoic. "If I wanted to hurt you without giving you a chance to explain or defend yourself," he said, with complete honesty. "You would be hurt. My purpose is to protect and defend the people of this realm. Not to kill ignorant children." Oooh. A slap in the face for the wyrmling using words. "What in the Nine Hells makes you want to come to this village?"

  653. 12:04:42 [Tezorihedrachadros] "Ignoring your insult, I've actually came to watch, and learn. But there's no chance of it now, not with you no doubt intending on incessantly watching me." ~Tez's face screwed up, whatever thoughts were roiling around inside his head, they were clouded partially by anger. His expression abruptly changed and he pointed back in the direction from whence he'd flown.~ "If you want to prove yourself to them, this is your chance. Go quickly to Tirdana, and do not hesitate. A massacre of unthinkable proportions is about to happen, as the Bloody Hand has called it's Demon summoner there, and it's primary military force has the city under martial law occupation. The druids of the Fang Woods have forced back their soldiers and now they have turned all the townsfolk into labor hands. Before too long the 'hand will dispose of them. Of this, there is no doubt." ~Tez lowered his hand and glared at Argyle with a seething expression, before lightening up. Something about the law-bringer made him want to throw up -
  654.
  655. 12:04:52 [Tezorihedrachadros] - inside. The air of superiority, perhaps? He looked at the Platnum Knight with disdain.~ "sjek wux tiliw ehtah vi single dril ekess svent ve, wux ornla" ~Proprtionate wings unfolded from the child's back and he ran to the other side of the Inn and took a leap, wings pumping hard several times as he gained altitude. Kher Adain was a wash-out, he would simply have to return home and report his failure.~

The fact that my messages are going through actually has to do with the lack of a time-out function on this old client. It'll just keep trying until it happens.
  696.
  697. 12:36:00 [General_GM] So the gist is that Wynne got a talking to from Red, who then confronted Tezori.

  712.
  713. 12:46:42 [The_Man_in_Red] "Sjek wux majak ve ir, si geou tepoha thric lyrik donoap ekess wiilirk," Argyle countered as he watched the wyrmling run into the night and take to the stars. He crossed his arms over his chest, but following that, nothing. He did take in the dragon's words. It would have been foolish not to. But the words that the wyrmling said caused his jaw to drop. Demon Summoner. Argyle shook his head, then cursed in draconic. He sprinted towards the rear entrace of the Inn. "I have to go to Andaemus right now," he announced to Adani and Wynne. "Find a map of the region. Look for this town, then a town called 'Tirdana.' Find out how far away it is from here and in which direction. I just got a hot lead." And before a protest could be made, Argyle sprinted like a madman out the tavern, down the street, and all the way to Andaemus' magic shop. He would hammer on that door until it opened.
  714.
  715. 12:53:02 Lorali The Loquacious enters this room
  716.
  717. 12:56:03 [General_GM] It is not long before Aloria opens the door. Andaemus is visible at his desk, hands stained with ink as he writes on a scroll. 'Oh! Mister Argyle. How may I help you?' She seems a bit shaken after the events happening earlier in the day.
  718.
  719. 13:01:06 Feona enters this room
  720.
  721. 13:01:20 [Feona] I'm back. What'd I miss?
  722.
  723. 13:01:20 [The_Man_in_Red] Argyle was panting, but still very polite. It was obvious he had sprinted the entire way here. "The foci," he started. "Can someone be tracked through the foci?" A breakthrough might be in the making. "Is it possible to track a member of the Enclave's whereabouts by the focus gem they carried?"
  724.
  725. 13:03:17 [Feona] No answer...
  726.
  727. 13:04:32 [General_GM] Argyle got a hot lead and is following it.
  728.
  729. 13:04:34 [The_Man_in_Red] The dragon flew off, and Argyle had an epiphany.
  730.
  731. 13:05:09 [Feona] Okay. I'll just say Feona was watching the dragon leave from the corner she was hiding behind.
  732.
  733. 15:44:50 [The_Man_in_Red] Think about it.
  734.
  735. 15:45:16 [Wynne`] So. Whenever Wynne finally DOES hit level 1...I think she'd be a Level 1 True Adventurer.
  736.
  737. 15:45:22 [Mero] No...nobody multipclasses 20 different classes bro.
  738.
  739. 15:45:26 [Feona] I wouldn't be able to make Feona a DnD character. Her natural abilities don't exist in actual DnD.
  740.
  741. 15:45:26 [The_Man_in_Red] You gain a level, you have two options... you can put that level in your current class or... use that level to gain a new class.
  742.
  743. 15:45:39 [Mero] 1-20 in a single class is normally enough to become badass.
  744.
  745. 15:45:55 [Mero] Pathfinder doesn't have that many empty levels.
  746.
  747. 15:45:55 Feona can attest to this.
  748.
  749. 15:45:59 [The_Man_in_Red] Yar.
  750.
  751. 15:46:02 [Mero] It pays to stick to a class.
  752.
  753. 15:46:12 [Feona] I had a level 20 ranger who could fire eight shots per round and deal nearly 400 damage.
  754.
  755. 15:46:26 [Mero] ^
  756.
  757. 15:46:32 [Mero] Rangers...are cray.
  758.
  759. 15:46:32 [Feona] With a legendary long bow that had spell absorbtion.
  760.
  761. 15:46:52 [Mero] Bards are a little worse though when you mix the right Archetypes together.
  762.
  763. 15:47:34 [Mero] Dervish Dancers...full round action to beat the fuck out of EVERYONE.
  764.
  765. 15:47:38 [The_Man_in_Red] I just took two classes that I knew were decent, and gestalted them. I rocked that new class to level twenty, then made my own prestige class the same way.
  766.
  767. 15:47:38 [Feona] I once had a monk who got artifact handwraps that had a crit of 11-20.
  768.
  769. 15:47:54 [Feona] Then got improved critical and it became 2-20.
  770.
  771. 15:48:06 [Mero] Gesalting is eh.
  772.
  773. 15:48:06 [Wynne`] Screw that...Classic bard. Just use the spell that gives a +20 Bluff check and talk everyone to death.
  774.
  775. 15:48:12 [Mero] Never cared for the concept.
  776.
  777. 15:48:12 [Feona] So I could flurry of blows critical hits.
  778.
  779. 15:48:17 [The_Man_in_Red] Crusader from Book of the Nine, and the War Mage. Put them together, we have Arcane Paladin.
  780.
  781. 15:48:22 [Mero] Take one to 20, then take the other to 20.
  782.
  783. 15:48:36 [Mero] Mero has Inquisitor and Oracle at 20.
  784.
  785. 15:48:39 [Adani] I don't know anything about classes or whatever XD I'm lost and haven't even started
  786.
  787. 15:48:40 [The_Man_in_Red] PSH.
  788.
  789. 15:48:47 [Mero] On paper...he's a fucking beast.
  790.
  791. 15:48:58 [Mero] Here...not so much.
  792.
  793. 15:49:29 [The_Man_in_Red] It's all the perks of multiclassing with NONE of the penalties.
  794.
  795. 15:49:41 [Feona] I gestalted once.
  796.
  797. 15:49:49 [Feona] Factotum/Sorcerer.
  798.
  799. 15:49:51 [Mero] Gestalting is just cheap.
  800.
  801. 15:50:07 [Feona] Actually, Gestalting helps fill empty party roles.
  802.
  803. 15:50:20 [The_Man_in_Red] ^
  804.
  805. 15:50:25 [Feona] Only the GM can determine whether a player is allowed to Gestalt and what into.
  806.
  807. 15:50:31 [Mero] Well I guess its okay for a two man group.
  808.
  809. 15:50:45 Ironbelly enters this room
  810.
  811. 15:50:50 [Mero] Or going Solo.
  812.
  813. 15:50:53 [The_Man_in_Red] Indeed.
  814.
  815. 15:51:18 [Mero] Otherwise...a party of 5 and everyone gestalted...wtf for?
  816.
  817. 15:51:21 [The_Man_in_Red] Now... remember how I said level 30?
  818.
  819. 15:51:56 [Mero] But...you also have the hitdice and skillpoints and BAB of a level 30.
  820.
  821. 15:52:07 [Mero] Saves too.
  822.
  823. 15:53:03 [Feona] I'm not the one who even decided to Gestalt. My GM suggested it since we only had three players.
  824.
  825. 15:53:06 [The_Man_in_Red] My prestige class is Vassal of Bahamut, Argent Savant, and Force Missile Mage.
  826.
  827. 15:53:26 [Mero] 3 people needed to gestalt?
  828.
  829. 15:53:35 [Mero] Did everyone pick Fighter?
  830.
  831. 15:53:58 [Feona] We didn't have any actual magic heavy classes.
  832.
  833. 15:54:25 [Mero] Ah.
  834.
  835. 15:54:31 [Mero] Yeah...guess that does hurt.
  836.
  837. 15:54:34 [Feona] I was a Factotum, a jack-of-all-trades. Then we had a Dragonborn fighter and an elf rogue.
  838.
  839. 15:54:47 [Mero] Party balance is hard to obtain when nobody wants to play x class.
  840.
  841. 15:55:01 [Feona] I mean, I could do some spells with Factotum abilities but nothing major.
  842.
  843. 15:55:09 [Mero] 3.5 makes it seem even harder.
  844.
  845. 15:55:18 [The_Man_in_Red] What edition was that, Fe?
  846.
  847. 15:56:07 The_Man_in_Red 's idea of a Dragonborn is the 3.5 Dragonborn of Bahamut.
  848.
  849. 15:56:17 [Feona] 3.5
  850.
  851. 15:56:22 [Mero] Idk wtf a Dragonborn is...
  852.
  853. 15:56:34 [Mero] I know its nothing like Skyrim.
  854.
  855. 15:56:38 [Feona] I think it was a Dragonborn... Something Dragon.
  856.
  857. 15:56:52 [Feona] He had draconic properties, like wings and shit.
  858.
  859. 15:56:57 [The_Man_in_Red] A Dragonborn of Bahamut. comes from Races of Dragon.
  860.
  861. 15:57:14 [Mero] Oh, did he look like an Antro?
  862.
  863. 15:57:21 [Feona] All I know is I morphed into him befor.
  864.
  865. 15:57:28 [The_Man_in_Red] They can.
  866.
  867. 15:57:30 [Mero] 3.5 races were...fugly.
  868.
  869. 15:57:47 [The_Man_in_Red] But something had to happen for them to take on the aspects of a dragon.
  870.
  871. 15:57:50 [Mero] Really hated how most of them looked. Halflings included.
  872.
  873. 15:58:06 [Feona] Those wings came in handy in that dungeon we were in, so I decided to use them too.
  874.
  875. 15:58:30 [Mero] Wings are fun, unless you just have a natural racial fly speed.
  876.
  877. 15:58:40 [The_Man_in_Red] For that race, Bahamut usually asked you if you were willing to give up your life and what it was to become one of his children.
  878.
  879. 15:58:46 [Feona] I didn't have to worry about that.
  880.
  881. 15:58:59 Mero doesn't know shit about Deities.
  882.
  883. 15:59:10 The_Man_in_Red does.
  884.
  885. 15:59:19 [Feona] I didn't stay as him for long. There were water parts and underwater creatures so I morphed into them to move around better.
  886.
  887. 15:59:21 General_GM enters this room
  888.
  889. 15:59:30 [The_Man_in_Red] Bahamut is located in the book Deities and Demigods on page 50.
  890.
  891. 15:59:32 [Mero] Made my own...since. Every GM I worked with worked in a fucking world where only X diety existed.
  892.
  893. 15:59:48 [Mero] GM is back! ♥
  894.
  895. 15:59:50 General_GM returns.
  896.
  897. 16:00:03 [The_Man_in_Red] Awesome. We didn't do anything.
  898.
  899. 16:00:12 [The_Man_in_Red] Unless you replied to my post.
  900.
  901. 16:00:12 Feona is surprised no one asked about constant mentioned morphing.
  902.
  903. 16:00:39 [General_GM] I did not. I will start posting now.
  904.
  905. 16:00:40 The_Man_in_Red aimed that at GM.
  906.
  907. 16:00:42 Mero is literally just a dragon under an at will Alter Self (SU) ability.
  908.
  909. 16:00:45 [The_Man_in_Red] Cool.
  910.
  911. 16:01:10 [Feona] My character was a Doppelganger Factotum who had a form for every class.
  912.
  913. 16:01:43 The_Man_in_Red 's a Force Dragon that's been placed under a partial polymorph spell. He looks like a Half-Dragon.
  914.
  915. 16:02:06 Feona is a human with interesting natural abilities.
  916.
  917. 16:02:30 Ironbelly is a Dwarf, with beard +3.
  918.
  919. 16:02:43 The_Man_in_Red likes Ironbelly already.
  920.
  921. 16:02:52 [The_Man_in_Red] RESPECT THE BEARD!
  922.
  923. 16:03:58 General_GM is annoyed because he cannot find the posts he just freaking saved.
  924.
  925. 16:04:55 [Ikund] =(
  926.
  927. 16:05:09 [The_Man_in_Red] >_>
  928.
  929. 16:05:19 [The_Man_in_Red] Which ones do you need?
  930.
  931. 16:06:08 Mero wished he had a +3 beard.
  932.
  933. 16:08:38 General_GM found them.
  934.
  935. 16:09:01 [General_GM] I pasted them in the MIDDLE of my log instead of the end. Notepad++ search function ftw.
  936.
  937. 16:09:15 [The_Man_in_Red] Lol.
  938.
  939. 16:10:11 [General_GM] wtb real log function for tK so I don't have to manually save stuff alla time
  940.
  941. 16:10:54 [The_Man_in_Red] wtb? o.0
  942.
  943. 16:11:11 [General_GM] want to buy.
  944.
  945. 16:11:14 [The_Man_in_Red] "What the boot"?
  946.
  947. 16:11:21 [The_Man_in_Red] Oooooh.
  948.
  949. 16:11:55 [The_Man_in_Red] Gotcha. That would be nice.
  950.
  951. 16:12:21 [General_GM] Righty then. On with the show! Preferred room order is room list order, with me last. If you have questions, ask.
  952.
  953. 16:13:09 [Mero] Who is where and what is going on?
  954.
  955. 16:13:14 Mero is gonna...enter.
  956.
  957. 16:13:26 The_Man_in_Red just declared war on the mysterious bad guy.
  958.
  959. 16:13:34 Ikund blames Mero for everything.
  960.
  961. 16:13:39 [Adani] (At the inn, planning the trip)
  962.
  963. 16:13:42 [Mero] Shit.
  964.
  965. 16:13:49 Mero takes the blame/
  966.
  967. 16:14:11 [General_GM] Kher Adain: Adani is alone at the tavern. Red, Wynne, and Feona are at Andemus' place where the bad guy just taunted them through a magical conneciton.
  968.
  969. 16:14:32 [General_GM] Grakis: Sartorius is on a caravan dealing with an attack on his caravan.
  970.
  971. 16:15:10 [General_GM whispers to Ikund] joining us?
  972.
  973. 16:17:00 [Mero] Guess Mero is needed more in Grakis.
  974.
  975. 16:17:13 [Mero] Sart, still with us?
  976.
  977. 16:17:20 [Ikund whispers to General_GM] Yes!
  978.
  979. 16:17:36 [Sartorius] Yes.
  980.
  981. 16:18:10 [General_GM whispers to Ikund] Then I shall include you in this round of posts.
  982.
  983. 16:18:11 [Mero] Sweet, guess I got myself a play.
  984.
  985. 16:18:14 [Mero] plan*
  986.
  987. 16:19:15 [Ikund whispers to General_GM] Alright. Thanks.
  988.
  989. 16:29:39 [Sartorius] Can We do room order per each scenario? I am a limited time frame.
  990.
  991. 16:29:42 [General_GM] -Adani- Adani soon finds herself alone in the commons of the tavern as Wynne has rushed off. The keeper looks down at her with a concerned look on his face from where he stands at the bar, cleaning a mug. 'Might be prudent to see t' yer friend, aye? Think she might need some help,'
  992.
  993. 16:29:50 [General_GM] -Ikund- Koryn eventually makes his way home, storing the chest in which the rod is stored before doing anything else. Koryn's wife, a homely-looking woman, idly cleans up around their modest home, smiling as her husband returns. 'That wizard,' he complains, 'that wizard will be my undoing. Why must he make such a fuss in the market? Now, no one will trust me or my prices. I had no business after he left. I hope whoever those strangers were take him away from here for good so that I can sell these treasures in peace.' Now is as good a time as ever if Ikund wishes to approach Koryn; he will never be more alone than this.
  994.
  995. 16:29:59 [General_GM] -Wynne, Red, Feona- Andaemus slumps back into his chair, weary from the experience and from holding back his emotions, which he does no longer. The master wizard openly weeps into his hands as the realization of what was done with his work hits him - anger and guilt consume him and he seems but a shadow of the confident, perhaps even a bit arrogant, figure he portrayed when the group first began their questioning. Aloria moves to his side and places a hand on his shoulder to comfort him, looking to Argyle. 'Can you tell me...what all this means? I don't know enough to understand it all just yet.'
  996.
  997. 16:30:10 [General_GM] -Sartorius- As Sartorius leaves the wagon to meet their foes, he finds the battle already joined. Riding wolves large, fell, and black, standing four feet at the shoulder, are goblins- a rare sight outside of the fetid swamps of Grakis, but unfortunately an all-too-common danger here. The little beasts constitute the lowest rung of demonkind, but are also the only ones to have truly gone native and establish a presence here. For years they have been breeding, hidden away in the dark places between Grakis' few cities, and now, Sartorius is experiencing the fruits of their foul labor. From the trees high up, another volly of allows rains down on the guards, slaying two of the ten instantly while the others try to fight off the wolf-riders. The ground is muddy and damp, though the goblins' lupine mounts seem to be having little trouble with it.
  998.
  999. 16:30:51 [General_GM] That's fine, Sartorius.
  1000.
  1001. 16:31:22 [Sartorius] Thank you.
  1002.
  1003. 16:31:26 [Feona] Just don't lose track.
  1004.
1005. 16:32:25 Adani looked up at the keep, agreeing with his advice of finding the others. She could only plan so much on her own after all. She gave the man a light nod and soon after left the inn with the wizards place in mind.
  1006.
  1007. 16:34:20 ( Sartorius rolls 1d10 => 9 )
  1008.
1009. 16:35:32 Sartorius takes stance as he watches the guards take towards the attackers. It was a group of goblins all ridden upon wolves, black as the night. He grimaced for a moment and took up spear as he proceeded to defend against an oncoming goblin. His spear would be placed forward towards the jowl of the riding beast, his plan to thrust into the throat through the opened jaw. He favored precision over power, and because of so has learned to be accurate at placements of his spear. The head of the spear would find it's mark, the shaft exposed 2 inches after the head, which was now deep in the beast's throat. The goblin would then fly from the beast, finding it's throat in the hand of Sartorius, who would clinch down and break it. Looking over at the guards, he would hope that they were winning.
  1010.
1011. 16:35:55 [Mero] So, my post?
  1012.
  1013. 16:36:14 [Sartorius] yep
  1014.
1015. 16:36:16 Feona watched as Andaemus slumped, "Don't worry, we'll get the bastard that did this." Then Wynne showed up, "Wynne? What's wrong?" She asked, approaching the girl. The fact she had been able to run at all was a surprise considering the weighted armor she was in. She was progressing nicely.
  1016.
1017. 16:36:37 [The_Man_in_Red] Argyle turned, looking at Feona, then Wynne, then finally to Aloria and Andaemus. "It means that all other options have been exhausted," Argyle said at last, his wings folding into themselves before once again tucking under his cloak and becoming one with the contours of his back. "It means that now we prepare to fight." He gave Feona a knowing look. "Get everyone ready. I need Andaemus' help for one last task. Just one, and then we should all get some sleep. Tonight's been a long night. Tomorrow we depart for Tirdana by caravan by first morning's light."
  1018.
1019. 16:39:27 Wynne` sucked down a deep breath, her eyes wide as she felt her heart thumping erratically in her chest, her body reacting quite brutally to the brisk pace she'd taken in getting there....Yet she was already winding down, rising to her straightened position to breathe in and speak. "...Andaemus is in danger, Miss Feona...If...If we leave him, he will die. I receied...This." She handed the rather vague note to the woman and lowered her head. "I...I don't know who sent it. But...They mentioned that he's in danger...S-So I came quick..." She mumbled.
  1020.
1021. 16:39:44 [Wynne`] Brb! Heading home from work!
  1022.
  1023. 16:40:19 The_Man_in_Red sputters. WHAAAAAT?
  1024.
1025. 16:40:34 The_Man_in_Red can't go crusader on the bloody hand just yet? D:
  1026.
1027. 16:40:35 [Ikund] Ikund heard that, and from all he knew, Koryn just might get his wish. He had no idea who those ‘strangers’ might be, but that did partly answer a question for him. But now, to get to the real questioning. Ikund flew down to the door, and debated setting up a mirror here. However, it would be very obvious to those passing by, and might attract attention. He decided to not do that in favor of simply…really annoyingly pecking at the front door with his beak. Simultaneously, he would attempt to ‘connect’ with the merchant and his wife’s minds, but only to communicate. It was, in fact, the extent of his knowledge in that rather fickle field of psionics. <I will be polite once. Open the door.>
  1028.
1029. 16:41:25 [General_GM] -Sartorius- As Sartorius dispatches one of the foul creatures, two more realize that he is as much a threat as the armed guard and ride out to meet him, threatening with spears. Two arrows whiz by Sartorius' head, reminding him of the threat lurking still in the trees. By now, two of the goblins lay dead, the wolves limping away with severe wounds. One of the guards is quickly overwhelmed by the other wolf-riders. For them the battle is desperate, as they are not used to fighting on this treacherous terrain.
  1030.
1031. 16:44:10 Mero drifted into the fray with a heavy sigh. Time to work already was it. What did we have here? Goblins riding wolves? Well a purge is a purge no matter how strange things got. As the dragon floated in a light formed at the center of his forehead taking the shape of a rune, his halo. Most outsiders from the Celestial planes had one of these. His first move was pretty obligatory, bring in the buffs. “The night brings terrors long and old but we bear a light that can never be dulled.” With a wave of his hand Mero took a headcount of every humanoid that seemed to be on the same side as him, including Sartorius. They would receive a standard blessing based on a virtue and not from an actual deity. Moral boost and such. Play it out as you will from there. “Alright, hope this bends the tides a bit…do try to die on your own time…” The dragon advised coldly as he stared the gobs down while taking a defensive stance.
  1032.
  1033. 16:44:27 [Mero] Crap...too slow.
  1034.
1035. 16:45:11 General_GM adds Mero to Sartorius' scene.
  1036.
1037. 16:48:48 [General_GM] -Adani, Wynne, Red, Feona- Aloria perks up, hearing Wynne mention that her master might be in danger. 'What kind of danger? Do you know how long we have? He looks tired. I am not sure he will be able to defend himself...whatever that was took a lot of his power out of him.' Andaemus tries to compose himself as he hears about the apparent danger to his person and seems to try to gether power, but is having trouble focusing. At that particular moment, a heavy knock resounds against the door, almost seeming to try to take it down.
  1038.
1039. 16:48:58 [General_GM] -Ikund- The merchant, unsure of where this random thought is coming from, believes it to be his own, telling his wife to prepare dinner for the two of them as he does, indeed, go to open the door. He isn't sure why he should open the door - perhaps Andaemus is coming for his rod with proper payment? It is with some trepidation that Koryn opens his door to whatever might stand before him in the night.
  1040.
  1041. 16:49:57 ( Sartorius rolls 1d10 => 8 )
  1042.
1043. 16:51:30 [Sartorius] /me ducked his head as he heard the two arrows fly by him. Looking up into the trees as he ducked, his eye glanced looking for the archers. Sighing, he turned his eyes back towards the coming goblins that noticed him. Smirking, he pulled spear and swiveled it into a defensive grab, placing it into reverse hold. Running forward, he would find the goblins within distance for his next attack. Something out of the ordinary, but still very effective for what he needed. As the wolves headed towards him, he would place himself in the middle of them, in the gap, and pace his spear longways horizontally, hoping to take both goblins by the chests and onto the muddy ground. From there, he would flourish his attacks, aiming for the chests of the goblins to dispatch of them, hoping to lower the morale of the still be attackers. As he did, he would feel his spirits raise, as if he had a new spring of valor and adrenaline. He smirked and began running towards the front wagon, where the guard had just fallen.
  1044.
1045. 16:52:31 Mero will wait on the GM.
  1046.
1047. 16:53:02 [Feona] Mero, the GM will be responding to whatever you do too so you post before him.
  1048.
1049. 16:53:54 [General_GM] Mero can wait on this post.
  1050.
1051. 16:54:14 Mero is confused now!
  1052.
1053. 16:54:21 Lorali The Loquacious enters this room
  1054.
1055. 16:54:33 [General_GM] I will be posting for you and Sartorius now.
  1056.
  1057. 16:54:50 [Mero] K.
  1058.
1059. 16:55:42 [Adani] :walked with a casual pace toward Andaemus' place. She didn't feel a lot of need to hurry since it was so late in the evening, it was likely that they were no longer going to be leaving right away. it would make sense to wait til morning. As she got closer, she her some pounding, like a hard fist on wood. Not much was thought about it, maybe someone was just having a rough day. Then she saw a figure standing at the doorway of the wizards. She couldn't tell who it was, but they seemed in a hurry to enter the building. She quickened her pace, but kept her distance. She didn't want to give away that she was coming up behind him if it became advantageous in a moment.
  1060.
1061. 16:55:55 [Ikund] Holy crap they opened the door! Ikund was still in the form of a raven, so he wasted no time when it came to flying straight into the house! Though, he wasn’t going to stop communication just because he was in. <First questions first: Where did you get the rod?> It was somewhat easy for those not used to this method of communication to think they were going insane, but Ikund wasn’t precisely hidden or far away. Hopefully, they would figure it out and not do anything stupid. <And the same statement applies here: I will be polite once.>
  1062.
1063. 16:58:35 Feona took the note from Wynne and looked it over. She gave it to Argyle when that loud banging came. She moved Wynne and looked at them all, putting a finger to her lips in a gesture of quiet. She approached the door and stood aside from the door on the side that held the handle. There she waited. The moment that door came open, whatever was coming through would have a blade pointed at them, aiming to put it at the throat, expecting an average sized individual of maybe six feet at the tallest.
  1064.
  1065. 17:00:19 Wynne` is back!
  1066.
  1067. 17:00:32 [Feona] Welcome back.
  1068.
1069. 17:00:54 [Sartorius] I gotta go for like a half hour to an hour. Gotta pick up the wife. Be back shortly.
  1070.
  1071. 17:00:56 [Wynne`] Thanks.
  1072.
1073. 17:01:10 [General_GM] -Mero, Sartorius- Mero's blessing grants Sartorius the strength he needs as he deftly dispatches the pair of goblins. Their beasts, with no riders, go berserk, turning their attention to Mero now, who stands alone now that Sartorius has gone to aid the guard. Slavering jaws are brought to bear as they seek to bring Mero to the ground by hamstringing him. By the time Sartorius reaches him, he has taken half a dozen wounds from goblin-spears and wolf-bites and is bleeding profusely. However, the guard also seem to be rallied by Mero's blessing and begin to turn aside the goblins, one of the guards picking off one of the goblin archers in the trees.
  1074.
1075. 17:01:12 [Lorali The Loquacious] Godspeed!
  1076.
1077. 17:01:37 [The_Man_in_Red] Argyle turned to the door, his hands placed on his swords as he readied himself. "Belay that order," Argyle said. "Defend Andaemus with your life. If someone wants him dead, then that means he is posing a risk to the ones who are using his design to just knowing us." The note was given to Feona, and was thus passed to him. He read it with haste. "There will not be another tragedy tonight," Argyle growled. It soon turned into a feral roar of defiance. "TONIGHT, IS THE NIGHT THAT WE SAY NO MORE!"
  1078.
1079. 17:02:25 [Feona] What part of quiet do you not understand?? -.-
  1080.
1081. 17:02:57 [Feona] "She moved Wynne and looked at them all, putting a finger to her lips in a gesture of quiet."
  1082.
  1083. 17:03:12 [Wynne`] ...xD
  1084.
1085. 17:03:16 [Wynne`] Argyle is not very subtle!
  1086.
1087. 17:03:22 [Feona] Thanks for ruining any chance of a sneak attack, Red.
  1088.
1089. 17:03:39 Feona is part rogue and would have gotten bonuses1
  1090.
1091. 17:04:20 [Lorali The Loquacious] He's the paladin, Feona. Get used to it~
  1092.
1093. 17:04:26 Lorali The Loquacious it tottaly funny.
  1094.
  1095. 17:04:44 [The_Man_in_Red] They already know we're here. -.-;
  1096.
1097. 17:04:54 [Feona] I am used to it. Have been adventuring with him for years... -.-
  1098.
1099. 17:05:11 [Feona] You don't know that. As far as they know, Andaemus and Aloria are alone.
  1100.
  1101. 17:05:32 [The_Man_in_Red] Think about it.
  1102.
1103. 17:05:33 [Feona] I was going to surprise them and capture them to find out who they were and who sent them.
  1104.
1105. 17:05:58 [The_Man_in_Red] If they didn't know they were already here, why would they bother trying to bust down the door?
  1106.
1107. 17:06:02 [Wynne`] I wonder...If Red is the Paladin, and Feona is the fighter/rogue...Then what is Wynne? o.o
  1108.
1109. 17:06:13 [The_Man_in_Red] Instead of coming in through the window.
  1110.
1111. 17:06:27 Mero really wasn’t paying much attention and managed to get snagged by a wolf by the leg. Mero was hovering about 2ft off the ground at that point so when this happened he sort of just flopped over losing his balance. However his was also a good thing for Mero. He specialized in touch spells after all. Gritting his teeth through the pain Mero channeled a spell through his legs. Slay Living. This wound simply snuff out the beast’s biting him life out as humanely as possible if it worked. Mero didn’t like to kill, rarely did. But when he had to. He made sure it was painless.
  1112.
1113. 17:06:38 [The_Man_in_Red] Or sneaking through the back entrance.
  1114.
1115. 17:06:41 [Feona] Actually, Feona is a War Blade.
  1116.
  1117. 17:06:53 [Feona] Red, you're overthinking it.
  1118.
1119. 17:07:09 [Lorali The Loquacious] Wynne is the other fighter that missed the entire last campeign and so didn't get any exp coz the dm's a douche like that. xD
  1120.
1121. 17:07:19 [Feona] She doesn't just run in swinging, she has all sorts of special moves and shit.
  1122.
  1123. 17:08:07 [Mero] Wynne...has no class levels.
  1124.
1125. 17:08:08 [Feona] One of her favorites is a springboard maneuver with Red.
  1126.
  1127. 17:08:17 [Wynne`] v.v
  1128.
1129. 17:08:29 [Feona] Launches him into the middle of a crowd to wreak magical havoc.
  1130.
1131. 17:09:07 [Adani] (thinking about it, I should've had Adani use detect magic, just to see how strong this guy was magic wise...XD)
  1132.
1133. 17:09:08 [Lorali The Loquacious] So! What's goin' on? Anyone need a bard? Coz I'm bored and got time.
  1134.
1135. 17:09:17 The_Man_in_Red pulls the party leader card, adds it to the Epic Leonidas Moment card, and plays his hand: Rally the Party.
  1136.
  1137. 17:09:39 [Mero] ...
  1138.
1139. 17:09:43 [Mero] Red you whore.
  1140.
1141. 17:10:43 Feona is unwilling and therefore unaffected by Red's Rally due to her now stirred anger at him for ruining her sneak attack.
  1142.
1143. 17:11:09 [Lorali The Loquacious] Also: Schmolo! Touch specialized negative inquisitor cleric!? earning my love
  1144.
1145. 17:11:20 The_Man_in_Red advises Feona to put more skill points in her sneak, then while he causes a distraction.
  1146.
1147. 17:11:46 Lorali The Loquacious had this stormlord that used to do the Zod thing with the command spell.
  1148.
1149. 17:12:45 [Lorali The Loquacious] The first time I did it everyone cracked up. "He yells kneel points at the ground and casts command." I thought the DM was gonna die
  1150.
  1151. 17:13:12 [Mero] Heh thanks!
  1152.
1153. 17:13:37 [Mero] Touch spell Clerics are underrated for some reason.
  1154.
1155. 17:14:05 Feona advised Red to not shout and reveal our position while she is sneaking.
  1156.
1157. 17:14:15 [Mero] I'm a good Cleric that uses negative energy when he has to, because fuck you thats why.
  1158.
1159. 17:14:37 [Lorali The Loquacious] Too many people see them as nothing but healbots. Just like bards are seen as buff dispensers and Psionics are thought to be mage copies.
  1160.
1161. 17:15:05 [Mero] Psions eat babies. Trufax.
  1162.
1163. 17:15:12 [Feona] Dude, I built a greatsword cleric that could beat the shit out of our fighter.
  1164.
1165. 17:15:26 [Lorali The Loquacious] Anyway. Someone breif me so I can enter the rp someplace.
  1166.
1167. 17:15:32 [Feona] Then heal him just to beat on him again.
  1168.
1169. 17:16:06 [Feona] My cleric was also evil and enjoyed torture.
  1170.
1171. 17:16:25 [General_GM] -Adani, Wynne, Red, Feona- Adani sees the figure pounding on the door before it opens - apparently, it's a Dwarf wearing black, clearly not meant to be seen in the night. She also notes the pressence of three other shadows lurking in a nearby alley. As the door opens, Feona will quickly realize that her sword is held too high. With the door opened, the Dwarf attempts a blatant bull-rush through Feona. Aloria, surprisingly quick to react, starts by surrounding herself and Andaemus in a circle of protection against evil; she seems surprisingly adept at such magic. Adani sees the other three move in behind, attempting to add momentum and force to their leader's blatant display of brute force.
  1172.
1173. 17:16:31 [Feona] She devised all kinds of unique torture methods that she could constantly repeat with healing.
  1174.
1175. 17:16:34 [General_GM] -Ikund- At this point, the merchant is confused. He looks up at the raven, fully intent on shooing it off until he receives the next message. Unsure and not wanting to incur the wrath of his gods, Koryn answers. 'A traveler from Tirdana sold it to me. Why am I answering a raven?' At this point, Koryn's wife gives her husband and his conversation-partner a strange look.
  1176.
1177. 17:16:42 [General_GM] -Mero, Sartorius- Sartorius is now fighting alongside the guards, and his aid is the turning point in the battle; they are now routing the goblin raiders. Meanwhile, Mero's fatal response to the wolves' savage attack leaves them dead. Nothing else comes near enough to threaten Mero after that. Distantly, orders can be heard coming from the merchant who is in charge of the caravan, orders to tend to the wounded and protect the passengers.
  1178.
1179. 17:20:57 Mero drifted upright again and sighed heavily. “I’m truly sorry it had to end like that. May you meet peace with this.” He muttered before moving to kiss the corpses on the forehead and muttering a small prayer. Getting to his feet and actually walking now Mero would move to heal the nearest wounded and go from there. Hopefully folks would rally around or behind him in this case. It seemed as if his very presence was putting off the remaining beast.
  1180.
1181. 17:22:05 [Adani] As Adani saw the door bust open she quickly moved from her spot and started to run towards the fight. Her best chance was to give a little time and slow down the other three shaded figures. She quickly pulled her rapier and, while still working to intercept them, used her sword like a wand in attempt to paralyize or stun at least one of them. Not a ton of help, but if it worked then it would only be two against one, assuming she could keep up her pace and run in front of them.
  1182.
1183. 17:23:22 [Ikund] Now he had a couple of questions that could branch off from this one. <You don’t want me to answer that question.> Ikund wasn’t the one answering questions here: he was the one asking them. <Is the traveler still here? If not, where did he go?> There was a particular sense of urgency. <And what would your wizard friend be wanting with the rod?>
  1184.
1185. 17:25:27 Feona had not expected a dwarf. When the dwarf charged her, she dodged to her right, turning herself and sswing that blade down at the dwarf's back should he charge right past her. She was without her shield or armor but her strength and speed were significantly higher without it so her swing held some serious force behind it. Should it hit home, the dwarf would find himself seriously hurt.
  1186.
1187. 17:30:51 The_Man_in_Red is typing his defense and offensive moves, now.
  1188.
1189. 17:37:33 [The_Man_in_Red] The door opened... and that's when the dwarf came in... or tried to."WALL OF FORCE!" the Dragonspeaker, a title bestowed upon him by Andaemus as well as this unknown foe casted! That dwarf would have hit an invisible brick wall in the doorway. Feona wasn't wearing her armor... so he improvised for her sake. "Mage Armor," he incanted, throwing his left hand out to touch Feona's back lightly. Her entire body flashed for just a moment before she appeared normal. "Let's take this fight outside. For Andaemus' sake," Argyle said. His right hand balled up into a fist, and soon coated itself in emerald-hued magical force. A massive fist began to materialize behind him. He looked to Feona. "You might want to move. Now." That was all the warning she was getting, because after that, Argyle threw that punch. +
  1190.
1191. 17:37:52 [The_Man_in_Red] As he did so, that massive conjured fist rocketed past Feona, slammed through that conjured wall of force lodged in the doorway, and into the face of the dwarf that had just tried bumrushing a pissed off dragon. "Bigby's Smashing Fist." Perhaps it was underestimated just how pissed off Argyle really was.
  1192.
1193. 17:41:32 Ironbelly - There was an inherent danger in using the darkness to conceal misdeeds. When the sun went down over the city the vendors and merchants vanished, replaced by long shadows and dim walks even the bravest miner wouldn't weather there came a changing of the guard; Gone were the pick-pockets and confidence men, replaced by predators and killers. The three men stood out prominently to the dwarf's darkvision, painted in chromatic shades of black, white, and gray as they lurked in the alley's embrace. While jaded, the rogue was having a difficult time believing the trio were up to any sort of good. And when the familiar sound of a boot drumming open a door echoed through the quiet street he had his answer, the muggers bristling like the hackles of a beast. Grimacing in the near pitch of a shop's awning he gave a final longing glance to the tavern before he pushed his black hood up and began to slink down the alley with a careful tread, intending to steal upon the flanks of the rearmost man. The dwarf would act in -
  1194.
1195. 17:41:34 Ironbelly -stride should he reach his mark undetected, left foot lifting to deliver a savage hammer stomp to the rear of the lurker's left knee and drive it to the ground where Ironbelly would shift his weight to pin it there, the palm of a quarter-gloved hand lashing in from the side to collide with an ear and drive the unfortunate head against the wall. The force exerted would be of the range to render the man unconscious rather than slay, the abrupt combo an attempt to lessen their number by one and perhaps even retain the element of surprise.
  1196.
1197. 17:44:45 [Lorali The Loquacious] I think, if I join the city group, I'll do so after the battle. The poor baddies are allready getting beaten bad enough without someone singing about it
  1198.
  1199. 17:45:02 [Adani] (lol)
  1200.
1201. 17:45:22 The_Man_in_Red would find it amusing to have a bard see this and spread rumors about it.
  1202.
1203. 17:45:30 Ironbelly only knows how to clobber goons and smoke cigars.
  1204.
  1205. 17:45:34 [General_GM] [ With us, Wynne? ]
  1206.
1207. 17:46:25 Lorali The Loquacious aint singing Red no praises. He don't need a bigger ego
  1208.
  1209. 17:46:42 The_Man_in_Red eyebrow waggle.
  1210.
1211. 18:00:54 [General_GM] -Mero, Sartorius- Mero's forbidding presence, coupled with the precise, cold killing of Sartorius rout the remaining goblin raiders, abandoning riderless wolves to be easily dispatched by the remaining guard. The toll among the guard is heavy, despite Mero's aid; three have fallen, and a fourth will require care while on the move. The other passengers, none quite so eager to help as Mero and Sartorius, come to no harm during the battle. Afterwards, the caravan-master approaches Mero. 'Good thing you came along when you did- else we would have been lost for certain. I...believe I recognize you somehow. You wouldn't happen to frequent old Grindstone's alehouse in Tirdana, would you?'
  1212.
1213. 18:01:04 [General_GM] -Adani, Wynne, Red, Feona, Ironbelly- Feona's slash digs in beneath the charging Dwarf's leathers, the Dwarf having been too quick to be stopped by Red's wall of force, drawing blood enough to cause him to veer off course and stumble from his path into a wall. Adani's magic holds one of the four fast, and Ironbelly's sudden and unexpected one-two combo drops a third unceremoniously at his feet. ARound the same time, Bigby's Smashing Fist swept out the trash, carrying the three who found themselves striking air outside, leaving them in various states of disarray or unconsciousness. The one who'd managed to slip by Red's magic calls out to the others, 'Jig's up, boys! Get outta here!' With that, the one remaining ambulatory ruffian not trapped on the wrong side of a wall of force gets up and runs, disappearing into the night. Adani's rogue remains frozen and Ironbelly's is still out cold.
  1214.
1215. 18:01:14 [General_GM] -Ikund- 'No, the traveler left a long time ago, heading east. He did not tell me where he wanted to go. The wizard seems to believe it belongs to his order, which has long since fallen, so I highly doubt their authority or ability to claim it. This is why he disputes my price.' If Ikund has such power, he might be able to detect the beginnings of a splintering in Koryn's mind. His poor wife is heading out the open door and into the night swiftly.
  1216.
1217. 18:01:52 [General_GM] [ Hope everyone is enjoying. It has been a long time since I have gotten to stretch my GM muscles so far. :) ]
  1218.
  1219. 18:02:09 The_Man_in_Red is totes digging this.
  1220.
1221. 18:04:07 [Lorali The Loquacious] I'm just looking for a good entrance. I'd prefer not to start a scene all on my own aside three other ones allready going on.
  1222.
  1223. 18:04:31 [Feona] I like it.
  1224.
1225. 18:04:53 [Feona] Can't wait for the big stuff where Red and I can pull off some combos.
  1226.
  1227. 18:05:09 [The_Man_in_Red] Hehe.
  1228.
  1229. 18:05:31 [Feona] Springboard Firestorm!
  1230.
1231. 18:08:00 [Ikund] Damn. Well that was a dead end, aside for heading east. But there was still a few more questions. Speaking of the wizard… <Your wizard friend. What did the people who took him look like?> That was one of the things he didn’t know. And also… <Speaking of which, where does he live?> Depending on the answer, this very well could be the last round of questions. He was going to chase after the known before he pursued the unknown, and this situation is still recent.
  1232.
1233. 18:09:06 Adani had to practically dive out of the way herself as a giant magical fist tossed a litter of men outside. By the time she was on her knees, one of the men had already run off. Her magic unable to make that kind of range. She stood up and swept some grass off of her coat for a moment, she obsered that she had successfully paralyzed one baddie, and another was knocked out by the unexpected visitor. After looking inside the build, she was that one of Argyle's magic walls was blocking the entrance, so rather than trying to go inside, she felt she may as well focus on the stunned man before the spell wore off. She walked over, holding her thin sword up to the man. "You should consider yourself lucky. only stunned, unlike your friends, as you can see."
  1234.
1235. 18:12:18 Feona dodge rolled as the fist flew by. Then the leader called for a retreat as she stepped forward and put her sword to his neck, "You're not going anywhere." She said sternly. Despite her beauty, she was a demon in battle and merciless.
  1236.
1237. 18:21:36 [The_Man_in_Red] Argyle's eyes narrowed. "Now that we have one..." Argyle stomped his way to the dwarf that Feona had cut. The little guy had no chance. A hand was thrust out to grab the front of the dwarf's armor. With little effort, Argyle lifted him off his feet with one hand, then ripped off his hood. It was the dwarven guard who had been keeping watch over Andaemus as he worked! "Now that we know that your organization has infiltrated the city guard," Argyle snarled. "You can tell me who you really work for. Bahamut does not find corruption within justice the least bit amusing, and your treachery knows no bounds."
  1238.
1239. 18:23:42 Ironbelly felt the bushwhacker go limp in his grasp after the impact with the wall. Before he could attempt to deposit the man quietly and move on to the next, the situation took and abrupt shift. From the door came a blossom of power that was tangible in its magnitude, bringing a dark scowl to the rogue's face as it bore down on him, his mind racing; There would not be time to throw himself clear, he had no magic with which to counter. Squaring his jaw with a creak of grinding teeth, Ironbelly's knuckles whitened beneath the severity of their grip on the man's collar as he hunkered his bulk behind a shoulder which he placed against his captive's back...And found himself buffeted by force that sent him and his meat shield in a bouncing tangled heap, skidding to a stop down the alley. With a grunt, the dwarf recovered swiftly, spitting to his side as he gathered his feet and hefted his catch by the scruff of a cloak. By the time he had drug his prize back to the scene of the altercation he noticed a few of their -
  1240.
1241. 18:23:44 Ironbelly -number had managed an escape, though they were indeed few. The less lucky lay scattered like dead leaves in an autumn breeze, and those even shorter on luck found themselves at the mercy of a pair of warrior women who held steady blades. With an unceremonious thump the dwarf dropped the man in the dirt, “Don' s'pose ye invited these lads fer dinner, ayuh?” The dwarf drawled out, a shaggy brow lofted as he watched the man begin his interrogation.
  1242.
1243. 18:27:40 [Mero] Oh shit, posting.
  1244.
  1245. 18:28:36 The_Man_in_Red officially likes the dwarf.
  1246.
1247. 18:29:28 Ironbelly grows on you. Like a fungus.
  1248.
  1249. 18:29:53 [Adani] XD
  1250.
1251. 18:33:47 Mero could bring the slain back from the dead but that would take a shitload of time and he wasn’t exactly sure if it was his place to do such things. Working miracles in these parts never seemed like a bright idea. That and quicksilver was hard as shit to come by. Once he was approached by the caravan master Mero’s halo dimmed and vanished. “I wasn’t that big of a help.” He responded flatly. 3 had died after all. “Yeah, used to live there until it got blown up. Now I just…It doesn’t matter. It’s safe to assume you have things from here right?” Mero grumbled. He didn’t want to stick too close to them for too long. Goddess forbid they get used to his presence and start to depend on him.
  1252.
1253. 18:34:57 [Lorali The Loquacious] Like all good dwarves. Fuzzy and unclean but really quite attaching!
  1254.
  1255. 18:41:01 [Sartorius] back
  1256.
1257. 18:50:06 [General_GM] -Mero, Sartorius- 'We should be all right, yes. We are in your debt, you and your warrior friend,' he says, indicating Sartorius who has just finished wrecking the crap outta some goblins while his player was away, 'You sound as though you will be taking your leave of us. You sure we couldn't convince you to come along with us, at least until Kher Adain?' asks the merchant, rubbing his chin. 'I had no idea you were such a warrior,' says Haldarin to Sartorius, 'I might have hired you as a guard, had I known.' The wounded have been cared for, the dead buried; the caravan is ready to move again.
  1258.
1259. 18:50:26 [General_GM] -Adani, Wynne, Red, Ironbelly, Feona- THe remaining miscreant gives up the fight, having really no choice. Adani's prisoner, still in the throes of her spell, doesn't make any movement at all, save breathing. The one in Red's hands doesn't bother struggling - even if he could escape Argyle's grasp, he has nowhere to go, due to that lovely, shimmering wall of force blocking him from his fellows. 'Gonna hafta try harden 'n that,' he says, defiantly. Would such a noble personage be willing to stoop to torture to get the information he wants? Even so, would he go to the lengths he'd have to sink to get a Dwarf to talk?
  1260.
1261. 18:50:35 [General_GM] -Ikund- 'I only remember one of them. He was a fellow dressed all in red, carrying around a strange symbol and claiming to be of some strange order. I think the wizard said he was a Dragonspeaker. Andaemus lives down the way there, not far from the inn.' At this point, Koryn notices that his wife has left. 'Where did she go?' he asks the raven, sounding worried.
  1262.
  1263. 18:55:13 [Mero] WB sat.
  1264.
1265. 18:59:50 Mero edged away a bit once he was offered to tag along. “I’d…rather not.” Mero answered in a soft tune. “Actually…I was headed there anyway…I wouldn’t hurt, much.” Crossing his arms to the point that he was almost hugging himself Mero moved on ahead and slightly away from the caravan. He would stay within sight and make sure they were within his but otherwise keep minimal contact with them.
  1266.
1267. 19:00:02 [Ikund] If ravens could squint, Ikund was certainly doing it right now. Either she thought he was as crazy as shit, or she had something to do with this clusterfuck. Ikund immediately withdrew whatever connection there might have been with her. Only the one with the merchant remained. <The rod!> The thought that he just let a unknown possibly opposing third party walk away with a lead was one thing. It was pretty suspicious, especially because of the timing. However, this was a bit more pressing. Ikund immediately began looking for the merchant’s wife.
  1268.
1269. 19:00:31 [Sartorius] Thank you Mero.
  1270.
1271. 19:00:40 [The_Man_in_Red] Argyle's eyes narrowed. "If you do not answer to me," he promised. "You will be charged with treason against your fellow guard. I believe that dwarves have a special punishment for that, do they not?" He did have an encyclopedic knowledge for laws amongst the different races and nations. "I believe they cut off your hands, then bury you alive, if I'm not mistaken." Argyle's eyes narrowed dangerously. "That is your fate regardless of my actions." He began to slowly let the dwarf down... wait, what? "That's why Feona is going to take the information we need by whatever means she can. Had you stayed true to the guard, things would not have had to be this way." To this, he looked for Feona. "He is not to be killed. He will stand trial for his treason."
  1272.
1273. 19:03:23 Ironbelly takes this chance to vanish in all his vigilante glory, leaving behind the battered ambusher. [Going to step out here. Flu meds makin' me feel like I'm swimming.]
  1274.
1275. 19:03:58 Sartorius would nod to Haldarin. "Had I known you needed the aid, I wouldn't have been so nonchalant about the trip." He turned his eyes towards the men pulling the wounded guard into one of the wagons, others being dragged into the death carrier. He sighed and looked back towards Mero and Haldarin. "I suppose we all have something to learn from this travesty..." He nodded his eye in appreciation to Mero. "I appreciate your aid in my travels, as well as for the protection of the caravan. We would've fallen if it hadn't been for you." He paused, waiting for a response as he cleaned the head of his spear.
  1276.
1277. 19:04:41 Adani slowly stepped closer to the man and pushed his frozen figure backward. with a faded thud, the man lay there, still unable to move. Adani had to work a little quicker. The spell was about the wear off. She held her sword near the man's throat. "Make things easy for us both and tell us what you know or you'll become subject to the same savagery as your fellow companions." She had hope that if she stayed calm about it, the man would be more willing to talk. Seeing how no one else had left the building, she could only assume that the first dwarf that ended had been apprehended, and hopefully not killed. "Speak fast, my kindness will not last long. I already know who sent you, so make it something i don't already know"
  1278.
1279. 19:06:28 [Adani] (I'm going to step out for a moment, get something to eat. Feel free to NPC me if i don't make it back in time)

  1282.
1283. 19:11:04 [Sartorius] scratch my part about the dead being moved to a death carrier. I misread the GM post.
  1284.
  1285. 19:21:18 [General_GM] [ Feona? ]
  1286.
1287. 19:23:55 [Sartorius] Anybody for that matter? lol
  1288.
1289. 19:23:55 [Feona] Sorry, had errands.
  1290.
  1291. 19:24:10 [General_GM] S'ok.
  1292.
1293. 19:24:11 [Feona] And... Swimming a little... Had a bit of hard cider...
  1294.
  1295. 19:24:23 [Feona] I'm more of a lightweight than I thought...
  1296.
  1297. 19:24:56 [Feona] My turn?
  1298.
  1299. 19:25:07 [General_GM] Aye.
  1300.
1301. 19:25:26 [Feona] Okay... Give me a moment to get my vision focused...
  1302.
1303. 19:25:49 [Feona] Damn, I suck at drinking.. Half a cider and I'm already getting drowsy eyed...
  1304.
1305. 19:26:18 [Feona] Woo... Caffeine did the trick.
  1306.
1307. 19:26:29 [Feona] Cancelled that bitch right out.
  1308.
  1309. 19:26:37 [Feona] Alright, posting.
  1310.
1311. 19:29:23 Feona watched as Argyle picked up the man and spoke to him. She couldn't help herself. She grinned. She put the tip of her sword at the dwarf's eye, "Gonna be difficult? Let's see how many holes we can make, shall we? Every time you answer wrong, I'm going to cut a new hole." Then she moved the blade point within a centimeter of his eye and should he not abide, she'd stab right into the eyeball and a sickening pop resounded as she used the blade to pry the eyeball from its socket and let it droop on the cornea.
  1312.
1313. 19:34:21 [General_GM] -Mero, Sartorius- The caravan is soon underway, though Sartorius and Mero are offered places at the front, with Haldarin and his driver, in honor of their spirited defense of the caravan. The next two weeks go without incident, though there is a brief stop at a small keep called Darkmaw, not far from the capital of Grakis. There, Haldarin enlists the aid of a few Wispbane rangers to temporarily supplement his guard force while they travel through these dangerous lands. Wispbane rangers are expert guides and trackers, none knowing the fends of Grakis better. With the aid of the rangers, eventually the caravan clears the stinking swamps and finds itself on the Great Road around the Fang Wood, much safer territory by comparison. (This scene is happening in the past and catching up to the present so that Sar and Mero can participate in one of the other scenes if they wish when they get there.)
  1314.
1315. 19:34:29 [General_GM] -Adani, Wynne, Red, Feona- 'Ye think th' law scares me? I'd not've turned if I were. Yer a damned fool if ye think they'll give me more 'n a slap on th' wrist. No, Dragonspeaker, yer gonna hafta get yer hands dirty if ye want me ta squeal.' Red's prisoner seems confident in his ability to escape justice...one might wonder why. However, Feona's method proves much more effective. He balks, at last. Hardy though he may be, he doesn't necessarily enjoy being half-blind. 'All right, I see one of ya's got a backbone. I'm Anbrak Darkblade, an' a nice fella from th' Hand told me that he'd pay nicely for that one,' he says, pointing at Andaemus, who still seems to be mostly out of it. Adani's prisoner isn't so confident, though. 'Erm...don't know what else to tell ya, ifin' ye know who our boss is already...they don't tell me much. Anbrak in there's gonna know more. Don't s'pose ye kin jus'...lemme go an' ferget this happened?'
  1316.
1317. 19:34:38 [General_GM] -Ikund-'What about it? Do you want it? It has caused me entirely too much trouble already. I doubt you have money, being a raven...but if you have the thousand gold crowns I was asking for it, I will gladly let you take it. I want no more to do with it at this point. It is a curse, and I will be glad when it is gone.' Koryn believes he is dreaming at this point - dreaming about something that could happen to him if he kept the rod. That has to be it. Ravens don't talk, after all. In the doorway now, though, are Koryn's wife and a Dwarf dressed in a gray robe, wearing a wooden symbol depicting, of all things, a raven. 'See? He's talking to that raven. There must be some spirit or demon here, I am sure of it!' The Dwarf approaches Koryn, looking up at the raven. 'Lad,' starts the Dwarf, 'birds don't talk.'
  1318.
1319. 19:36:04 Mero is going to conk out now!
  1320.
1321. 19:36:27 [Mero] But before that.
  1322.
1323. 19:38:03 Mero looked at Sartorius for only a moment as the man addressed him. He stood silent for a moment and then turned away from the man and continued to move. “It’s my job.” He uttered. (Didn’t wanna leave that open.)
  1324.
  1325. 19:38:34 [Sartorius] I appreciate it lol.
  1326.
  1327. 19:38:49 [Sartorius] I will.
  1328.
1329. 19:40:28 [Sartorius] I'm just looking as we passed through the swamps, enjoying the view. I will post when it is necessary.
  1330.
1331. 19:47:38 [Ikund] <You might want to get rid of it now by giving it to me. I do believe I took a visit to its town of origin, one you might know as New Coldain. Nice place, if you like demons.> Ikund hopped in place to turn when he heard the other voices. <In fact…> There were other ways for bribery to work! <Get me that rod now, and I’ll prove you’re not crazy.>

1337. 20:11:55 [Solarus] good any opening?
  1338.
  1339. 20:11:59 [Solarus] got?
  1340.
1341. 20:12:13 [Feona] This is pretty much freeform.
  1342.
1343. 20:12:20 [Feona] So long as you fit the setting.
  1344.
1345. 20:12:46 [Feona] I doubt a gijinka would fit though, lol.
  1346.
1347. 20:13:30 [Solarus] thats kinda odd for a dnd game but its still pretty cool
  1348.
  1349. 20:13:33 [Solarus] nah
  1350.
1351. 20:13:40 [Solarus] this was from another rp
  1352.
  1353. 20:15:42 [Feona] This isn't actually a DnD game.
  1354.
1355. 20:15:52 [Feona] It's just loosely DnD based.
  1356.
1357. 20:16:07 [Feona] We don't have a legit rogue, I think so you could do that.
  1358.
1359. 20:16:28 [Feona] We have a defender, two mages and an offensive (In training).
  1360.
1361. 20:16:46 [Feona] We have a cleric pending.
  1362.
1363. 20:16:57 [Feona] Rogue is the only thing left.
  1364.
  1365. 20:16:58 [Sartorius] And me. I'm a guardian fighter
  1366.
  1367. 20:17:20 [Solarus] i can do rouge
  1368.
  1369. 20:17:24 [Solarus] give me a moment
  1370.
1371. 20:17:53 [Feona] Sar, you're not part of our party at this time.
  1372.
1373. 20:18:08 [Feona] We're probably gonna have multiple parties walking around.
  1374.
1375. 20:18:16 [Feona] And I'm the guardian fighter!
  1376.
1377. 20:18:31 [Feona] <<Sword and shield, heavy armor, uber strength and resilience.
  1378.
1379. 20:19:06 [Feona] Though, Feona is based more off War Blade than Fighter.
  1380.
1381. 20:19:17 [The_Man_in_Red] Argyle thought in silence for a long time. Anbrak was confident in his standing with the guard. That was something Argyle took seriously. However... there was one thing that could be done. One thing to stop Anbrak's confidence. He looked to Feona. She wanted to see the corrupted lawman die. He recognized the bloodthirsty lust for retribution in her eyes. She wanted harsh and swift Justice. He looked towards Andaemus, and took notice of the scared and humiliated look in his eyes. Argyle knew what had to be done. He returned a hard gaze to Feona."Hold him down," he instructed. He would wait for her to do so, and then Argyle took out his sword. "The Hand," Argyle said calmly to Anbrak. "Is on borrowed time. Marked for a swift and merciless end by the hands of myself and those that follow my charge." As he spoke, the tip of his bastard sword began to glow a bright red, like a brand. "That is not to be your fate," the Paladin said. "You're going to be given the Heretic's Brand." Oh shit. +
  1382.
1383. 20:19:48 [The_Man_in_Red] "It is a magical glyph, placed on your face, that signifies you as a traitor to your cause. You will not be given kindness, shelter, hospitality, or work for hard-earned coin by any who lay their eyes open it. You will be cursed to walk this land, blinded and marked, until the Gods you have betrayed come to take you to your judgement." It was the coldest form of exile that Argyle was authorized to bestow. "I'm sorry that you chose this fate for yourself, Anbrak." This was when Argyle's left hand forcefully gripped the dwarf by his beard. He then paused to look at Andaemus. "You might want to leave this room. I don't want you to see this," he said. Andaemus could see something in his eyes. Tears? Was Argyle actually starting to cry? Why wouldn't he? This was a cruel punishment. When Aloria and Andaemus left, the Red turned to Anbrak. "At this moment... you might think me a monster. Perhaps even sadistic.... but I tell you now, as it is the last thing you will ever hear... this is me at my most masochistic. +
  1384.
1385. 20:20:06 [The_Man_in_Red] "May Bahumut have mercy on your soul, Anbrak..." His voice broke. He had genuinely liked this dwarf, it seemed. "...because I cannot." And then... Argyle proceeded to carry out the punishment of the Heretic's Brand.
  1386.
1387. 20:22:13 [Sartorius] Feona, You're more of a warrior fighter, I'm more of a martial fighter. I use quick precise movements with a spear, wearing medium armor and amazing endurance.
  1388.
1389. 20:23:08 Feona watched Argyle as he gave the command. She threw him down and placed her boot on the man's chest. She knew what this meant. She had seen it before. She averted her gaze. Even she couldn't watch such an act as branding someone for a life of exile from any form of acceptance. Once it was done, she removed her foot from his chest and let him go. She put a hand on Argyle's shoulder, "You gonna be alright?" She asked. She knew how much he heated to brand another but sometimes it was necessary.
  1390.
  1391. 20:23:20 [Feona] I'm a defender.
  1392.
1393. 20:23:34 [Feona] And War Blade is a martial fighter.
  1394.
1395. 20:23:48 [Feona] Have you ever even looked at Book of Nine Swords?
  1396.
  1397. 20:25:03 [Sartorius] No. I haven't. I'm basing my knowledge on the 4e handbook.
  1398.
1399. 20:25:50 [Feona] Eww... 4th edition is garbage.
  1400.
1401. 20:26:08 [Sartorius] I was gonna lean my character more towards a tempest fighter though, as I plan on training into dual spears.
  1402.
1403. 20:26:09 [Feona] No imagination or creativity in it. It's just a skill spamming garbage heap.
  1404.
1405. 20:26:43 [Feona] 3.5 is the best still.
  1406.
1407. 20:26:53 [The_Man_in_Red] Dual spears? Short spears or full length?
  1408.
1409. 20:27:05 [Solarus] im making a Knife master right now give me like 30-45 minutes
  1410.
  1411. 20:28:13 [Sartorius] Short spears.
  1412.
1413. 20:28:19 [Solarus] do you use dice rolls or text based combat?
  1414.
  1415. 20:28:29 [Feona] Yext based.
  1416.
  1417. 20:28:34 [Feona] Text**
  1418.
  1419. 20:28:35 [The_Man_in_Red] We use text.
  1420.
  1421. 20:28:40 [Solarus] ok cool
  1422.
1423. 20:28:56 [Sartorius] I think we only use the dice to make sure the attacks lands or not.
  1424.
1425. 20:28:58 [The_Man_in_Red] Cool. Well, you're going to Tirdana like us, right?
  1426.
1427. 20:29:00 [Feona] I didbn't spend three weeks training in sword and shield to use dice combat.
  1428.
  1429. 20:29:09 [Feona] No we don't Sartorius.
  1430.
1431. 20:29:23 [Feona] You didn't see me roll any dice, did you? I diced into a dwarf.
  1432.
1433. 20:29:41 [Feona] Our whole party did damage withput rolling a single die.
  1434.
1435. 20:30:04 [Sartorius] Well, I do, and I remember GM doing it a couple times.
  1436.
  1437. 20:30:12 The_Man_in_Red patpats Feona. Easy, Spitfire. :P
  1438.
1439. 20:30:15 [Sartorius] I never said that you had to.
  1440.
1441. 20:30:45 [Feona] Sorry, the idea of dice in a roleplay just irritates me.
  1442.
1443. 20:30:47 [The_Man_in_Red] GM uses dice when he is trying to decide something.
  1444.
  1445. 20:30:58 [The_Man_in_Red] I've done it before.
  1446.
1447. 20:31:36 [Feona] I mean, I spent three weeks doing nothing but combat with this character in all kinds of situations to get my technique right, I will not accept a die telling me I can't hit something.
  1448.
1449. 20:31:50 [General_GM] I use dice to decide on some random things. Otherwise, I use drama and cool factor.
  1450.
  1451. 20:32:01 [Solarus] ok cool
  1452.
1453. 20:32:10 [General_GM] if players want to use dice, it's up to them, but I am not enforcing it.
  1454.
1455. 20:32:18 [Solarus] what info do you need from me? would you prefer a character sheet cause i can do that if you like?
  1456.
  1457. 20:32:24 [Sartorius] Ok.
  1458.
1459. 20:32:42 [Feona] Solarus, it doesn't really matter. See my profile? It's nearly empty.
  1460.
1461. 20:32:51 [Feona] This thing is really lax.
  1462.
1463. 20:33:17 [Sartorius] I'm using dice just to perfect my ability with this character.
  1464.
  1465. 20:33:24 [Solarus] ok cool
  1466.
1467. 20:33:28 [The_Man_in_Red] I like to think that so far, we have a pretty good group going on. We've been on this plot for almost a full week and we haven't had a single OOC despute.
  1468.
1469. 20:33:33 [Feona] I'll be adding maneuvers eventually but not until they are actually seen in open combat.
  1470.
1471. 20:35:04 [Feona] Though, one of her most obvious maneuvers, I already used. Dodge Roll.
  1472.
1473. 20:35:10 [General_GM] Looks like RP is winding down [and I've been running over 14 hours] - I am going to call this session to a close.
  1474.
1475. 20:35:26 [Feona] Alright. Tomorrow then?
  1476.
  1477. 20:35:32 [Sartorius] Cool beans.
  1478.
  1479. 20:35:41 The_Man_in_Red ended that shit in style. 8D
  1480.
1481. 20:35:44 [General_GM] Early afternoon, yes. I will be busy that night.
  1482.
  1483. 20:35:45 [Ikund] k
  1484.
1485. 20:35:57 [Sartorius] I look forward to joining again tomorrow. And hopefully I can join a real adventure tomorrow.
  1486.
1487. 20:36:06 [General_GM] Sartorius - you will be in Kher Adain with the rest of the players by then.
  1488.
1489. 20:36:14 [Feona] We don't want too big of a party...
  1490.
  1491. 20:36:18 [General_GM] I hope everyone had fun, because I did.
  1492.
  1493. 20:36:43 [The_Man_in_Red] I loved it.
  1494.
1495. 20:36:44 [General_GM] I am going to let you folks work out who you want in various groups. As I have demonstrated, I can run multiple scenes at once.
  1496.
1497. 20:36:44 [Feona] GM, if we're going to be throwing everyone together like this, might want to start putting a size limit. Too many people will just get hectic...
  1498.
1499. 20:36:53 [Sartorius] That's why I was going to offer that I run a few quests first for the residents before I jump into an adventurer with those guys.
  1500.
  1501. 20:36:55 [Feona] Oh, okay.
  1502.
  1503. 20:37:06 [The_Man_in_Red] I wasn't too over-the-top with Argyle's fighting, was I?
  1504.
1505. 20:37:25 [Feona] I say after we get the cleric and Solarus' rogue we should cut off at that point.
  1506.
1507. 20:37:35 [Feona] 6 is more than enough.
  1508.
1509. 20:37:51 Solarus exits from this room
  1510.
1511. 20:37:52 [The_Man_in_Red] I want Ironbelly in the team. Just saying.
  1512.
1513. 20:37:55 [General_GM] The biggest issue I often have with being the new guy in an RP is having no one to interact with and I want to make sure players have the option to interact with other players.
  1514.
1515. 20:38:18 Arixus enters this room
  1516.
1517. 20:38:20 [Sartorius] So everyone on the team besides Sartorius lol
  1518.
1519. 20:38:21 [Feona] Well, sartorious is with Mero.
  1520.
1521. 20:38:28 [General_GM] Hopefully, I will get enough players to where multiple groups won't be a problem and I won't have too many loners.
  1522.
1523. 20:38:40 [Sartorius] I'm ok with the interaction being small until I gain more experience in fighting.
  1524.
1525. 20:38:43 [Feona] Sar, you're with Mero, remember?
  1526.
1527. 20:38:53 Lotus enters this room
  1528.
1529. 20:39:01 [Sartorius] That wasn't really a team thing. That was just an interaction for a fight.
  1530.
1531. 20:39:33 [The_Man_in_Red] That's usually how parties get formed, Sar.
  1532.
1533. 20:39:41 [Feona] I just really don't like huge groups. It makes things difficult.
  1534.
1535. 20:39:53 [Sartorius] I completely agree with you Feona.
  1536.
1537. 20:40:27 [General_GM] log saved. I shall be out for the evening. Have a good night, all.
  1538.
  1539. 20:40:40 [Sartorius] good night
  1540.
  1541. 20:40:40 [The_Man_in_Red] Later, GM!
  1542.
  1543. 20:40:57 General_GM exits from this room
  1544.
  1545. 20:41:56 [Lotus] DAMN
  1546.
  1547. 20:42:00 [The_Man_in_Red] So... now, Feona.
  1548.
1549. 20:42:12 [The_Man_in_Red] We start practicing with our understudies.
  1550.
  1551. 20:43:32 [Feona] Understudies?
  1552.
1553. 20:43:52 [Feona] Wynne isn't here and Adani hasn't said a word since I came back.
  1554.
  1555. 20:43:55 [The_Man_in_Red] Wynne and Adani.
  1556.
1557. 20:44:55 Sartorius exits from this room
  1558.
  1559. 20:45:03 [Feona] He left...
  1560.
1561. 20:45:10 [Feona] I was about to ask him for a spar...
  1562.
  1563. 20:45:27 [The_Man_in_Red] Whisper him?
  1564.
1565. 20:45:31 [Lotus] you can always rp with me o/
  1566.
1567. 20:45:46 [Feona] You want to fight me?
  1568.
  1569. 20:45:46 [The_Man_in_Red] ^
  1570.
1571. 20:46:06 Feona shrugged, "Alright. I'll try not to hurt you."
  1572.
  1573. 20:46:55 [Ikund] >.>
  1574.
1575. 20:47:20 [The_Man_in_Red] ...Arixus? Are you alive in here?!
  1576.
  1577. 20:47:22 [Lotus] <.< >.>
  1578.
1579. 20:48:41 Feona took a stance on one side of a large clearing. Her armor was weighed at four times it's normal weight as was her weapon and shield. She held her shield up before her. Her left side was prominent towards the front and her right leg slid back. Her sword held in her right hand casually, a slight bobbing motion made as she bent and unbent her kness ever so slightly, keeping herself limber. Her golden gaze set on her opponent silently as she analyzed them and waited for them to be prepared.
  1580.
1581. 20:48:53 [Feona] That seemed a lot longer while I was typing it...
  1582.
1583. 20:50:19 [Lotus] thats for me right?
  1584.
  1585. 20:50:33 The_Man_in_Red nods.
  1586.
  1587. 20:51:00 [Lotus] YAYZ
  1588.
1589. 20:51:14 [Lotus] ok give me a few to type something nice uo
  1590.
  1591. 20:51:16 [Lotus] op
  1592.
1593. 20:51:26 Exceed enters this room
  1594.
1595. 20:52:19 [Feona] Been a few weeks since I've done this so I may be a little rusty... need to remember my techniques.
  1596.
1597. 20:56:56 The_Man_in_Red is going to be watching in the background. May or may not offer advice ic'ly upon request.
  1598.
1599. 20:58:14 Lotus found herself on the outskirts of one of the clearings. Her next target was going to be a tough one. She never question why these hits were placed on the people she killed, it wasn't her job to ask why. She need only complete her duty and return with proof in hand and to fail meant death. As she leapt though the foliage of the surround forest trying to spot her target the wind howled through the branches. in a second her eyes found what she was looking for. She readied her Twin blades and leaped into the air unleashing countless throwing knifes on her target before landing safely to her side. She uttered not a word. She only offered her a glance that could kill if given the chance. Lotus began to spring off her toes slowly circling her target waiting for a chance to strike one of her many openings.
  1600.
1601. 20:58:35 Sartorius enters this room
  1602.
1603. 20:58:38 [Lotus] i figure then can be how we meet XD
  1604.
1605. 20:59:16 [The_Man_in_Red] Welcome back, Sartorious. We were going to invite you for a spar.
  1606.
  1607. 20:59:25 [Sartorius] Sounds good.
  1608.
1609. 20:59:42 [Sartorius] I'm trying to figure out if I can already use dual shortspears or if I have to train into them.
  1610.
  1611. 21:00:03 [The_Man_in_Red] What's your class and level?
  1612.
  1613. 21:00:27 [Sartorius] Fighter Level 2
  1614.
1615. 21:01:35 [Lotus] does it matter?
  1616.
1617. 21:03:11 [The_Man_in_Red] Hmm... If you get the feat Two Weapon Focus, and Ambidexterity to compliment it, it might be possible.
  1618.
  1619. 21:03:47 [Sartorius] Ok.
  1620.
1621. 21:04:29 Feona the knives came and she reacted. She lowered her stance and her shield moved slightly to react to the knives, which clanged off the steel. Then the woman tried to circle but it wouldn't be that simple. She ran at the woman and once in range threw a trio of slashes. The first was aimed from left shoulder to right hip, the second moved right horizontally across the waist. The third went up from right hip to left shoulder. Each slash was quick. If the target was cut, she stepped back after the combo and raised the shield again. If the woman dodged back, then she'd raise the shield still, readying another charge.
  1622.
1623. 21:05:49 Kismet enters this room
  1624.
1625. 21:07:33 Kismet exits from this room
  1626.
1627. 21:10:05 [The_Man_in_Red] It's not a perfect solution, but once you get more levels and more bonuses on your attack, dual wielding would become a LOT easier.
  1628.
  1629. 21:10:15 [The_Man_in_Red] That's just to lay the foundation.
  1630.
1631. 21:11:18 [Sartorius] Luckily a Human Fighter is capable of +1 bonus feat to the already allowed bonus feat of a normal fighter.
  1632.
  1633. 21:11:52 [The_Man_in_Red] That's the gift of the human racial trait. ;D
  1634.
1635. 21:12:11 [Sartorius] Yep which is awesome lol
  1636.
1637. 21:12:39 [The_Man_in_Red] Did you give yourself the regional feat and background feat as well?
  1638.
1639. 21:14:14 [Sartorius] Wait What?! No!
  1640.
1641. 21:14:27 [Sartorius] Dude, I just started learning about DnD today.
  1642.
1643. 21:14:33 Mero exits from this room
  1644.
1645. 21:15:04 [The_Man_in_Red] That's the cool part of 3.5. If you can explain in your back story, you can put the feats in there to make your level one character not completely helpless.
  1646.
1647. 21:15:35 [Sartorius] Awesome. I will have to check that out.
  1648.
1649. 21:15:48 [The_Man_in_Red] You get a regional feat, a racial feat, a background feat, and a bloodline feat, starting out.
  1650.
1651. 21:15:54 Lotus Rolled forward Under the first attack and past her using her Lightning Reflexes Therefor Negated the second and third attack all together. She landed with one foot solid on the ground and used all the strength to push herself up and twist her body to strike the woman from behind and in between her armor bindings on the shoulder of her shield hand then fling herself into a backward hand spring away from her placing her at a safe distance. . If the attack hits she would find it hard to maneuver such a large shield with the ease she normally would, but if she managed to dodge she would ready a smoke bomb to be deployed if she rushed in again.
  1652.
  1653. 21:16:38 [Lotus] i prefer pathfinder
  1654.
1655. 21:19:00 Feona had reacted just as the woman rolled down. In order to get behind her from her position, she'd have to roll straight under the shield and past her legs. An easy counter. She simply swung her left leg for the dodging woman, aiming to catch her in mid-roll and send her sprawling back with significant damage from her strength and the blunt force of a steel boot. Should this fail, she turned herself to face the woman while stepping to her right and then stepping back. A two-step move and a quick one for dodging sudden sneak attacks from behind.
  1656.
1657. 21:19:14 The_Man_in_Red is D&D, d20 Star Wars, Mutants and Masterminds, Shadowrun, and Vampire: the Masquerade.
  1658.
  1659. 21:19:28 The_Man_in_Red loves ALL of those.
  1660.
  1661. 21:19:47 [Lotus] yup
  1662.
1663. 21:20:50 [The_Man_in_Red] I love D&D the most because it actually brought up my math score and got me into college. Because public school is terrible.
  1664.
1665. 21:23:51 [Lotus] brb phone call
  1666.
  1667. 21:28:47 [The_Man_in_Red] Adani idled out.
  1668.
1669. 21:33:32 Lotus got slights tripped up by Feona Swift kick. This caused her to stumble out of her attack and continue running forward. She rolled out of harms way and flipped up to face her once again after putting a good 60 feet between them. She sank into her own shadow and vanished from sight with her hide in plain sight skill. She withdrew her Daggers and replaced them with the to twin sided exotic weapons(daggers of the Crescent heart.) " It seems you are much stronger than the info first depicted. Strange the guild should put a mark on one strong as you. Never the less i must kill you or face death myself." her voice echoed through the clearing as if it was coming from everywhere. Lotus popped out from Feona's shadow and Struck at her Heels with 3 quick slashed before retracting back into the shadows once again.
  1670.
1671. 21:35:05 [Lotus] such a huge level difference
  1672.
1673. 21:35:11 [Feona] I don't think that's how Hide in Plain Sight works but I like your rendering of it.
  1674.
  1675. 21:35:43 [The_Man_in_Red] A shadowdancer...
  1676.
1677. 21:37:19 [Lotus] hide in plain sight works just like the title sounds
  1678.
  1679. 21:37:25 [Lotus] i dont need cover
  1680.
1681. 21:37:41 [Lotus] but im using shadow step as the rp flavor
  1682.
1683. 21:37:47 [Lotus] for the idea of it
  1684.
1685. 21:38:20 [Lotus] i can just hide anywhere and my hide score is insain
  1686.
1687. 21:38:40 Feona watched as the woman vanished. She immediately dropped the visor of her helmet and engaged a True seeing spell. Unfortunately, it could not track dimensional teleporting through the shadow plane. She had an idea though. being an assassin, her moves would obvious aim for the exposed back. She tightened her grip on her sword and waited. Then it happened. Just as predicted, the woman came out behind her so she swung around from the right side, swing her sword around for the woman behind her and turning her whole body around at the same time. Somehow she was faster. In truth, she had silently canceled the enchantment on her sword, reducing it's twenty-four pound weight back down to 6 pounds where her superior strength could swing it with significant speed.
  1688.
1689. 21:39:01 [Feona] Remember though, you have limited Shadow jump distance. You used 60 feet just now.
  1690.
  1691. 21:39:20 [Lotus] i know
  1692.
1693. 21:40:10 Exceed exits from this room
  1694.
  1695. 21:40:54 [Feona] What's your shadowdancer level?
  1696.
1697. 21:41:05 [Lotus] i only poped out up to your heels you would need to swing down
  1698.
1699. 21:41:22 [Feona] Wrong. When a shadowdancer jumps, their entire body comes out.
  1700.
  1701. 21:41:23 [Lotus] 8 why
  1702.
  1703. 21:41:32 [Feona] That's not debatable.
  1704.
1705. 21:41:39 [Feona] That's how the ability works.
  1706.
  1707. 21:41:50 [The_Man_in_Red] ^
  1708.
1709. 21:42:00 [Feona] I've used a max level shadowdancer before.
  1710.
  1711. 21:42:25 [Lotus] indeed
  1712.
1713. 21:42:35 [Feona] So my attack is valid.
  1714.
1715. 21:42:41 [Lotus] sorry this is kinda diffrent for me im used to free form or dnd not both mixed
  1716.
  1717. 21:42:41 [Feona] And it's a surprise attack.
  1718.
  1719. 21:42:54 [Feona] It's okay.
  1720.
1721. 21:43:32 [Feona] Also, a shadow jump is instant, you can't stay in a shadow, in case you didn't know.
  1722.
1723. 21:44:17 [Lotus] i did was doing it for rp effect
  1724.
1725. 21:45:16 [Lotus] hey that would flatten meXD
  1726.
  1727. 21:45:20 [Lotus] yeah
  1728.
1729. 21:45:24 [Lotus] ok hold on
  1730.
1731. 21:45:35 [Feona] What would flatten you?
  1732.
  1733. 21:45:41 The_Man_in_Red is a better match against Feona.
  1734.
1735. 21:46:00 [Lotus] Lotus is only level 20
  1736.
1737. 21:46:21 [Lotus] you have 15 level advanage
  1738.
  1739. 21:46:29 [Feona] 10.
  1740.
  1741. 21:46:38 [Lotus] effective 15
  1742.
  1743. 21:46:44 The_Man_in_Red is a Gestalted 30. He has the power equivilant to a level 50 Dragon.
  1744.
1745. 21:46:49 [Feona] Feona is Level 30 War Blade. Level 5 Gestalt Enchanter.
  1746.
1747. 21:47:24 [Feona] Actually, wait... No, that's wrong. I forgot I added 5 more Enchanter levels.
  1748.
1749. 21:47:34 [Feona] Did that a few days ago.
  1750.
1751. 21:47:37 [Lotus] im a level level 11 rouge level 8 shadow dancer level 1 exotic weapon master
  1752.
1753. 21:49:05 [Feona] Yeah, you're out of your league by a long shot.
  1754.
  1755. 21:49:17 The_Man_in_Red is a level 20 Gestalted Crusader/War Mageand a Level 10 Gestalted Vassal Of Bahamut/Argent Savant/Force Missile Mage.
  1756.
1757. 21:49:34 [Feona] Did I mention Feona has Silent Casting and Still Spell?
  1758.
1759. 21:49:48 [Feona] She doesn't need to speak or move to use her enchantments.
  1760.
1761. 21:50:33 Lotus wasn't expecting to be hit by that last attack and it took her completely off guard. But her uncanny dodge saved her alot of the damage. The attack sent her stumbling backwards and was knocked prone.
  1762.
1763. 21:50:48 [Lotus] fucking meta magic
  1764.
  1765. 21:50:53 [Lotus] XD
  1766.
1767. 21:51:13 The_Man_in_Red has Spell Penetration, Empower Spell, and Maximize Spell.
  1768.
1769. 21:51:38 The_Man_in_Red can also use all three of those feats at once.
  1770.
1771. 21:51:43 [Sartorius] Ok. I'm officially here now for rp.
  1772.
  1773. 21:51:56 [The_Man_in_Red] Right on.
  1774.
  1775. 21:52:13 [The_Man_in_Red] Sar, let's do a training RP. I won't fight you, because that's unfair.
  1776.
1777. 21:52:32 [The_Man_in_Red] But if you want help in beating the shit out of a dummy, let's do this. xD
  1778.
1779. 21:52:40 [Sartorius] That's not unfair. That's suicide lol. Sounds good to me.
  1780.
1781. 21:53:04 [The_Man_in_Red] You go ahead and post, then. xD
  1782.
1783. 21:53:21 [Sartorius] Where is the setting?
  1784.
1785. 21:54:01 Feona didn't stop. The minute the woman was knocked back she charged and sent her blade down to stab the woman in the chest. She was not a merciful individual and would kill anyone who threatened her life. She the woman manage to get up somehow, she'd swing her sword back up and step into the woman, attempting to slice her from navel to neck.
  1786.
  1787. 21:54:02 [The_Man_in_Red] Um... a militia outpost?
  1788.
  1789. 21:54:12 [Sartorius] Got it.
  1790.
1791. 21:56:38 [Feona] My internet is gonna go off in five minutes. Hopefully the parental controls were fixed so it should be back on an hour after that. If they're not fixed, I won't be back.
  1792.
1793. 21:56:39 Sartorius would step out of the gate into the courtyard, looking towards the sky as the sun stared down on him, the wind slightly gained as the smell of the harbor nearby cascaded his nostrils. He smiled faintly and stepped farther into the courtyard, looking around, waiting for his trainer to come into the field. He would notice a hardwood dummy and several range dummies scattered around the training courtyard, with a circular pattern painted onto the center of the dirt. He stepped towards the ring, but waited outside, wondering what to do next. His spears would rest on sling around his back, crossing at the shaft, so that both heads were pointed towards the sky.

  1801. 22:11:49 [The_Man_in_Red] I'm typing my post now.
  1802.
  1803. 22:13:07 [Sartorius] ok
  1804.
1805. 22:16:13 [The_Man_in_Red] "You can enter the ring at any time. I'm not going to bite your head off, lad," came a voice behind Sartorious. The person behind him was tall, almost seven feet tall when he was standing. Everything about the guy reeked of assertive action, but didn't boast it. He was confident and strong, a gentle giant of a man unless provoked. His outfit was red and gold, but not worn in such a way that implied his was any form of royalty. However... the style they presented indicated that he was some form of mage. When he stood, he had a bastard sword on each hip. "So... two spears?" he asked as he gestured to one of the training dummies. "I want to see."
  1806.
1807. 22:22:26 Sartorius turned as he heard the voice behind him. He smirked as he noticed the man who seemed as much of a mage as any, if not more so. Grabbing both spears from their catch, left hand held in reverse, the other in full front stance. He smirked and nodded, turning on his heels. Stepping into the ring, he looked sideways towards the training dummy that the mage gestured towards. With a quick movement, his right hand moved forward from the low ready, the spear flinging from his hand and towards the dummy, the precision incredible. While he lacked power behind him, the speed and precision would clearly make up for it. With the spear released, Sartorius would leap towards the dummy from a sidestep, the left hand coming up quickly as he placed the other spear into the head of the dummy, his right hand grasping forward and pulling the other spear out of the dummy's chest. Stepping past the dummy that now had a spear coming from its head, He placed the first spear into the back of the dummy, as Sartorius jumped <C>
  1808.
1809. 22:24:24 Sartorius backwards and looked at the dummy as he brought the first spear with him using his left hand, leaving the second spear still sticking out of the dummies head. Quickly, he smirked and sprinted towards the front of the dummy, grabbing the spear with his right hand and making his way back to the circle. Once done, he would look back at the mage and smirk. "How was that?" He waited for a response.
  1810.
1811. 22:32:57 [The_Man_in_Red] The man observed, and he contemplated. "You throw the first spear, then you step into close quarters to retrieve it," he said while observing Sartorious' rather entertaining fighting style. "How unique. Where did you get the inspiration to try this idea?"
  1812.
1813. 22:35:02 Sartorius smirked and resheathed his spears, as he responded to the mage. "To be honest, I'm not the best fighter out there. But I am a damn good fisher. I just used my knowledge of spearfishing and boar hunting, and combined them into my own fighting style."
  1814.
1815. 22:45:46 [The_Man_in_Red] He had to smile. "Well," the man in red said. "I commend you for demonstrating your prowess in both professions. So simple, and so humble... with such a great flair to the execution." He gestured towards the dummy again. "Show me your finishing move, if you would be so kind? It must be something to see."

1823. 22:51:48 [The_Man_in_Red] Yeah... It did. So did Feona's. Things are starting to die down. I might be a bit slow. Might even consider sleeping.
  1824.
1825. 22:52:08 Sartorius looked at the man for a moment, before nodding and turning his back on him, and stepping forward a couple steps. Quietly, One could watch him making an imaginary line towards the dummy with his eyes, the spears still in the catch. His hands would be placed at his sides, his eyes slowly closing and nodding a couple times. He smirked and sprinted forwards, his hands still empty. If one listened closely, that could hear him counting faintly under his breath. "1..2..3..4..5.." With a quick movement, he would jump up and pull both spears out as quickly as possible, placing both into the ground infront of him, using them as a vault within a foot of the dummy. "6..7..8..9.." With a quick twist, he would wrap his legs around the dummy's neck, leaning backwards as he grabbed the two spears from the ground. Using his momentum of the spears springing forward from being ripped from the dirt, he slung forward and placed the two spears into the back of the neck of the dummy, throwing himself forward <C>
  1826.
1827. 22:54:20 Sartorius and landing flat-footed on the ground, crossing arms and grabbing the spears' butt ends, using them as scissors as he ripped them laterally from the dummy's neck, effectively cutting off the stem and head, flinging it onto the ground infront of him and the body. He was now on one knee, looking at the ground and breathing hard. "10..11..12..13..14.." Slowly, he would stand up and resheath the blades. And look towards the mage. "15." He said aloud, smirking.
