  19. [20:12] <Lanore> 3. Others are concerned about HoT's leadership due to his history.
  20. [20:12] <Lanore> 4. and lastly some are kind of overwhelmed by the "omg ponies" aspect of your alliance. Your fandom can be overwhelming to some at times it seems.

  26. [20:16] <Lanore> Overall I think your potential outweighs the concerns people express. First thing is getting you guys your embassy and getting active relations set up. We need to set up an image of permanency, that you aren't going anywhere any time soon. After that we need to get an establishment of mutual benefit going. I've talked to Nimrod about talking to our MoF and possibly setting up some tech deals...

After a while, once your face is familiar, and once you are realized to be beneficial, you will become common place and nobody will doubt your stability. After that the mutual friendship and benefit can only grow and eventually we might be able to bring a treaty around, though that is really getting ahead of ourselves.
