Kurt paced around the house, seemingly in circles, anxiously waiting for his boyfriend, Blaine, to arrive from his few months long internship. They weren't able to see each other physically during that period of time, unfortunately, so Kurt longed for Blaine's touch. He's in a state of euphoria just thinking about it. Kurt glanced at the clock.

9:12 PM.

Blaine's supposed to be here by 9:15 PM, so he does have three minutes left. Kurt had insisted he wait for Blaine at the airport, but Blaine had told him he had a 'surprise that would require you to be in the confines of our home'. Our home! Kurt thought he'd never see the day. But here he is, sharing a home (_their_ home!) with his fiancé whom he was absolutely besotted with. Blaine was right. If he couldn't even contain himself at the thought of them sharing a house, who knew what'd happen if Blaine shared this 'surprise' at the airport. Breathe, Kurt, breathe. Kurt looked up at the clock again.

9:13 PM.

Okay, okay. He still has two minutes.

Kurt sighed and dropped down to the couch and turned on the TV to pass the time. Nickelodeon? No. Disney? No. National Geographic? No. He continued to change the channels before finally settling for the local news.

"This just in, scientists say that the carbon dioxide levels in our atmosphere may reach a point of no return in the next decade.." Unfortunate. Kurt hates the earth's current state. This is why he became an environmentalist instead of living that Broadway dream of his. How could entertaining people save the world from global warming or climate change? No, he needed to slap and spit on their faces and tell them that this is their fault. That the world is dying because of everyone.

Kurt shook his head. What's important now is Blaine. He can worry about the earth in an hour or so, but this moment belongs to him. He turned his phone on.

9:14 PM. Notifications from Rachel.

"Oh, sorry, hon. I'll get back to you when Blaine's here." Kurt said aloud.

Kurt got up but then sat back down when the TV screen turned bright red while the words 'BREAKING NEWS' flashed on the screen.

"I wonder what else the world has brought upon us." said Kurt in a disappointed tone, to which a decent-looking newscaster seemingly said in reply, "There appears to be a jam in the expressway to the airport, caused by a series of crashes."

"Oh my. No thanks." Kurt said, pressing the power button. He grabbed his phone and opened his chat to Rachel
