Amid reports of a crisis of confidence with the state’s testing lab industry, a newly-discovered lawsuit (2381CV01090) against Green Analytics (formerly Steep Hill) sheds light on allegations of “chronic understaffing” and labor law violations within the taciturn sub-industry.

Green Analytics is also at the center of an ongoing controversy involving operator Holistic Industries and allegations that testing manipulation facilitated dangerous products reaching consumers in Massachusetts (interestingly, the CCC --state regulators charged with overseeing the industry---used to employ a man named James Kocis --previously lab director for Steep Hill/Green Analytics as the head of their internal testing oversight department during the time period when the Holistic allegations were investigated by the agency).
