  1. It's hot. I sit hunched up the back of the truck next to my luggage. I'm moving from Johto to my aunt and uncle's in Hoenn. I used to stay in a orphanage for a while until they came and got me. My parents died a couple years ago. They where killed by a Pokemon.

  3. But I don't blame them though, it was just a unfortunate accident. While we where camping they where attacked by a Gengar in the middle of night. Fortunately I was saved by a Pokemon ranger at the last second. He said he was tracking a group of ghost Pokemon going around attacking people. He had captured the others but this one managed to get away.

  5. In a instant I lost both my parents. Crushed, I was put in a foster home where I spent the next 2 years. My dad promised me that he would let me get my own Pokemon and go on my own journey. He was strong trainer. He said he and his brother once took on the Pokemon League. I wanted to be a great trainer just like him. And when I told the kids that they all laughed. They though I was just boasting with delusions of grandeur like all the others, but I knew the truth. None of they them could ever be real Pokemon trainers, they where all just fakers. I would train with my dad and he taught me what it was like to be a true Pokemon master. I would have to be strong, agile, versatile, and vigilant enough to keep up with my Pokemon. I was different from those orphans. They where all weak crybabies, too scared to even approach a real Pokemon. Except one kid, her name was Kori. She said she used to have a Pokemon and even got a gym badge. Kori saw that was I different too. She was the closet thing I had to a friend. We made a pact that when we got out we would see each other again and have a battle. Then one day my dad's brother Norman came and got me and now I'm here.

  7. When we finally made it the first thing I noticed was how much hotter it was and how many different Pokemon there were. Some I've never even seen before. Norman's wife told me that their daughter had became trainer awhile ago and she had got her Pokemon from Prof. Burch across the away. On my way I saw this boy, he looked a bit older then me. He had this green lizard looking Pokemon with him. He noticed and then he gave me this creepy smile. It creeped me out so much i ran away. When I finally made it to the lab the assistant told me the Prof. was out doing field work and I would just wait for him to come back. I didn't want to wait anymore I was on the cusp of my destiny and I wouldn't let some professor slow me down. I stole some empty pokeballs off the desk and darted off to the northern route.

  9. I was too determined to start my journey, with or without a actual starter. I was gonna catch the first Pokemon I saw, however a fat man being chase up a tree by what looks like a small black dog. He screamed and pleaded for me to help him and said to use one the Pokemon in his bag he had dropped. His cries for help had alerted the pokemon to my presence and it began to attack me. I quickly grabbed one of the pokeball in the bag and chucked it towards the ground. What came out was a Vulpix. Oddly when it first entered battle the environment suddenly felt cooler. I was familiar with this pokemon and I ordered it to used Ember. Small burning shards shot out and bombard the dog. It fainted instantly. It turned around and looked at me with it deep brown eyes and in that instant it was just the two us. I resonated deeply with this pokemon, it felt special. Was it it's icy cold aura that reminded me off when my parents died, or was it it's smoldering hot intensity that could burn down any foe in front of it that reflect my ambition to become a trainer. Either way I knew this was my starter.

  11. The man came down and said he was thankful for my help and he complemented me on my battling. He introduced himself as Prof. Burch much to my surprise. He was so impressed with me that he offered me a Pokedex on the spot. This was the proof that I needed, my dad said that having a Pokedex a sign of great promise for a trainer. It means that you're going to encounter pokemon of all kinds, plus its a useful tool to have to look up information about pokemon and their habitats. They dont just give these out to anyone. He ask me to come back with him to his lab so that he could register me in his systems.

  13. Back at the lab he puts me in the system, gives me a few extra pokeballs and ask me a favor. He says if I see his son on my way out of Littleroot to tell him to come back home he has something for him. He said he would be wearing a white hat with a Treeko. I looked up the pokemon in my pokedex and I saw it was the same green pokemon I was the creep with. Yikes. I left and stopped by Norman's house before I started the journey and told auntie about what happened. She burst into laughter saying that that's exactly how her daughter started her journey. She gave me a hug and told me that my father would be proud of me. I gathered a couple of items in my room and headed out the door. This was it, I'm at the precipice of my journey. But there was one more thing I had to do. I let the Vulpix out of it's ball and declared that it's name would now be "Kitsune". For now it us, and together we're gonna burn a path straight to the Pokemon League where I'll fulfill my destiny as a Pokemon Master.

  15. This is where my story begins.
