IGN: Hametsu

Skill: Giant Form

RP: 5 years have passed since Hametsu began his quest in the name of the Great Starbeast. And while there was no shortage of devotion in his heart, he felt as if he had earned a physical reward. He has gathered a small, personal following at this stage, and they are wholly devoted. So, in his desire for more praise, he finished his current objective and returned to the shrine he had built on that planet. He had at least one of them on every planet, and they needed constant care as they were often destroyed in the period between visits. This one was no different; the flowers wilted,the ground around it pocked and cratered with the signs of battle, and the statue itself almost completely destroyed. Yet this was not the worst he had seen, so he set to repairing the statue first, and would tidy the rest afterwards.

 Kneeling before the likeness he had constructed from memory, he prayed aloud to the idol "I have gained two followers today, and they have sworn their loyalty to you, as I did. Five years may have been a long wait to me, but to you, it mustn't have felt long at all!' His arms widen out as his voice boomed louder. "Your perfect vassal desires a gift from you, Great Starbeast! Anything you give to me will be acceptable! And if my request is arrogant in your eyes than punish me for it!" At that very instant, lightning struck Hametsu dead center in his chest, leaving a singed ring in his shirt and the Rune of the Starbeast glowed underneath it. Hametsu fell unconscious, feeling as if he had angered his deity.

He woke up hours later in the dark of night in a mix of stiffness and soreness. Looking around at his environment, he started remembering what happened before. He puts a hand to his bare chest to feel for a- wait, bare? He was fully clothed earlier, he should only have a hole in the shirt! Looking down he saw a strange body that wasn't his, but it moved like it was. Large muscular hands moved over taut skin, and as he stood up, he almost jumped off the ground. He would need to accommodate the sudden increase in size when choosing clothing, but this was perfect! He wasn't punished for his greed, he was rewarded for his devotion! Sure it would take some time to get used to this form, but he had been given a great gift, and all he needed to do was ask! This boon was one that Hametsu planned to use for his quest to its FULLEST potential, and as he was about to leave, he remembered. And in that giant form, he cleaned and repaired the rest of the shrine, saying a short prayer before leaving.
