BACKGROUND:; Minyoon was born in Daegu, South Korea. She lived with her mother. She was from an average family even though she had no father whatsoever, her mother worked as a teacher at a university. Her mother suddenly fainted while teaching a class and then she was brought to the hospital, they then found out that she had a deadly illness that made her die. She then had to live with her relatives.
