Runaway

Owing to second case of a fifteen year-old runaway, the implications of this situation for Occupy were made very clear and that Occupy cannot act as a children’s home, that in all incidences it is with regret the authorities will have to be contacted.

Finance

Nothing to report. Nil donations. Fund balance nil.

Actions & protests

On Friday 10th February 2012 an animal rights group will be protesting at Flannels in L1, because the store carries fur lines. Occupiers agreed to participate & support the action.

K has created a flash mob and occupiers have agreed to learn & perform the routine as part of an OL action.

Petrol station action on 5th February 2012 was, overall, a success. However the police wanted us to move and we did, but we did not have to move by rights.

Proposal to host a Protesting Rights Workshop on Sunday 12th February 2012 consented.

In answer to the new government tesco corporation cash in proposal to have people working in tescos to get their benefits. A suggestion for action was to get badges made up and start working in tescos as a demo.

Jm from the Green party was present and announced that the green party is holding their national conference here in Liverpool on the same weekend we are holding the Nation Occupy GA.

JM will be seeking official support from the conference for Occupy Liverpool.
