Hi artist formerly known as jrrrrrrr, I'm happy to see that you're not acting out against this on IRC. Anyhow, my current role in C&C is merely that of a "tie breaker". Colonel M and Great Sage are the two big guns there now, as I retired a lot of my power in that section of the forum when I took on the position as policy head. As a third party observer, my understanding is that not only Great Sage, but a few other C&C mods were displeased with your initial uploads when you were first promoted to a project moderator in UU. Those same mods were also upset with your "self promotion" to get that position to begin with. At first, from what I understand, Great Sage was willing to grant you a second chance after your not-up-to-par uploads, but he changed his mind after witnessing your behavior in #insidescoop, as he decided you did not possess the personality traits we expect of moderators (or even project moderators). I understand you've made an effort to be more civil, and I personally appreciate that, but first impressions are hard to shake off. I am unsure of how the rest of the C&C moderators feel about you now, but they also play a big role in how we promote (all moderators need to agree on a new moderator promotion before it goes through, etc). With this in mind, as someone who considers himself impartial, I would probably suggest that you focus your efforts elsewhere. You don't want to work with users that you don't get along with anyways, because it will just be an unnecessary waste of time and just cause headaches for all parties involved. If you want to continue pursuing this, that's totally fine, but that's my personal opinion and recommendation, as someone who acknowledges your efforts to be more civil.
