Kae is an exceptionally calm individual, maintaining a polite and friendly demeanour even under stressful conditions. She enjoys mingling; eating, singing, and drinking with whoever she spends time with. She has a particular fondness for dealing with non-indema, and considers learning about other races' cultures enriching.

She tends to be methodical in how she approaches challenging issues, taking her time and exploring every possibility until she's either solved the problem or been forced to make a snap decision.

Despite hatching with anatomy seen as male, Kae identifies as female. Among the indema this isn't seen as particularly unusual, but among outsiders she's taken on an unusually modest disposition for an indema to avoid awkwardness.

Kae was hatched a noble, born into House Iaia and raised in the shadow of one of the great temple-ziggaruts in Klak.

Growing up watching the rituals and sacrifices of the Church, Kae studied her scriptures and memorized the songs of the tablets, eventually earning acceptance into the temple and training as a priestess.

As she rose through the ranks, she gravitated towards assignments within the assimilated human settlements, eagre to spread her love of the sun god within the still-troubled human populations. At one point, Kae was involved in "police actions" against human agitators, during which she successfully talked down the leader of a band of rioters.

As a reward for her services to the Church and the Iliska and in recognition of her skill with handling other races, Kae was assigned to a band of emissaries sent to maintain contact with Forgelord's Hold.

When the dwarven unification movement began, Kae and her companions were politely "disposed of" by the dwarven aristocrats that they had been surrounded by, sent on fool's errands, wild goose hunts, and fetch quests to "prove the Iliska's commitment to continued peaceful relations".

Kae is a model indema; tall, athletic, with brilliant yellow-orange scales and deeper orange plumage streaked with red. She carries herself with an air of reserved confidence; not aggressively, but strongly nonetheless. Her horns have been carved with the runic script that marks her as a member of House Iaia.

Kae regularly paints her scales with simple markings in black, such as bands around her arms and legs and slash marks covering scars along her side.

As both a noble and a priestess of the Church, Kae wears a rather elaborate outfit for an indema; a long tunic, layered skirt, and various jewelry all decorated with bold geometric patterns. Her armour is engraved with Elisium runes and iconography of the Church, prominently displaying her rank as a priestess of the Eighth Ray of the Third Circle.

Both her person and her belongings are hung with prayer sticks, sturdy wooden dowels engraved with brief prayers, nametags, and blessings in Elisium.

Code of Honour (Major)
- Kae is beholden to the Church, and as such believes it of utmost importance that she uphold the tenants of life and purity that the sun god stands for.
- She will not break agreements (although she is discerning to what she will give her word towards), she will protect noncombatants or prisoners (although she is cautious about dismissing anyone as nonthreatening), and she generally acts as is befitting as an emissary of the Iliska.

Quirk (Minor)
- Kae takes great care to properly bless anybody she is responsible for killing; this consists of a brief prayer in Elisium and the act of drawing a sunburst pattern on the victim in their blood.
- Particularly "worthy" foes must be "buried" and lashed to a tree, facing east so as to greet the sun.
