  1. RDV INTERPRETATIONS BY TITLE:
  2.
  3. Kanaya Maryam
  4. Blood: Mutant
  5. Title: Heir of Blood
  6. Opposition: Knight of Rage
  7. Joint Trolls: Vriska (Knight of Life) and Feferi (Maid of Rage)
  8.
  9. The Heir of Blood would be able to use their pacts with others to great potential, possibly being a "centerpiece" upon which pacts are based on. Like Karkat in canon, they may end up as a leader, even if normally they're a very terrible person.
  10. However, in order to realize their role, they must first learn to exploit their rage, using it against their enemies and protecting their team with it. After that, they must learn to quell their own rage, so that they may learn to quell others'.
  11. In theory, Kanaya and Vriska are actually very appropriate class counterparts, as Kanaya can help advance Vriska to her goal (to not focus on the impossible).
  12. Meanwhile, Kanaya can attempt to soothe Feferi's rage and help her learn to control it, thus allowing Feferi to use her rage in a more focused manner to help serve the team.
  13.
  14. Terezi Pyrope
  15. Blood: Maroon
  16. Title: Seer of Doom
  17. Opposition: Mage of Life
  18. Joint Trolls: Eridan (Mage of Time) and Vriska (Knight of Life)
  19.
  20. The Seer of Doom would be able to predict their own fate, as well as that of others, although they may have to be vague, for even fate changes at different points in time. The fate she speaks of may very well be doomed fates, such as timelines and branches that are doomed to fail.
  21. However, in order to realize that role, she would first have to be influenced by life, whether her Land's or others' lives, before eventually realizing her potential to see and conduct doom.
  22. In theory, Eridan would be most useful in helping Terezi realize her role, as he is influenced by time and she in turn would be influenced by the lives that he saves or fails to save. As she grows closer to her role, however, she will need him less and less.
  23. Terezi would probably rely on Vriska after she's ascended and realized her role, as Terezi would be able to advise Vriska on where to go and what to do using her insight on fate. Vriska, in turn, would be used as a pawn for Terezi's intentions.
  24.
  25. Vriska Serket
  26. Blood: Brown
  27. Title: Knight of Life
  28. Opposition: Heir of Doom
  29. Joint Trolls: Kanaya (Heir of Blood) and Terezi (Seer of Doom)
  30.
  31. The Knight of Life would exploit life in order to protect others, such as using her own life-force as a weapon or as a tool for healing. She'd basically be like a paladin/cleric hybrid.
  32. However, in order to realize that role, she must allow herself to be doomed and used as a pawn of fate, in order to learn how to fully control life.
  33. Kanaya may have a role during Vriska's path to ascension, using her Heir of Blood powers to help enemies be swayed to help Vriska, thus leading the way through Vriska's land and quest.
  34. Terezi may use Vriska during any point in the game, but only after she herself has ascended; Vriska can be used as a pawn due to Terezi's insight on Doom, but Vriska herself would eventually ascend after being doomed herself.
  35.
  36. Equius Zahhak
  37. Blood: Yellow
  38. Title: Prince of Space
  39. Opposition: Bard of Time
  40. Joint Trolls: Tavros (Bard of Light) and Eridan (Mage of Time)
  41.
  42. The Prince of Space can use space to destroy, or destroy space itself. They can use their aspect to shrink their opponents to nothingness, teleport them into a random location, or distort their opponents into body horrors that can't function.
  43. However, first they must allow time to be destroyed in order to realize their aspect, whether unintentional or otherwise. They may point someone in the wrong direction, causing a doomed branch in time, or even doom the timeline and cause his own ascension.
  44. Tavros would probably be a core piece to his ascension, especially if the two are kept in close proximity. A Bard of Light, thus allowing knowledge to be destroyed? It could easily cause Equius to panic and destroy time if he is given the wrong information on what to do.
  45. Eridan, on the other hand, could be influenced by the degeneration of time, and could thus be useful as Equius begins to ascend and after that point, being influenced by Equius's destruction as he attempts to use time to help win the game.
  46.
  47. Gamzee Makara
  48. Blood: Olive
  49. Title: Rogue of Void
  50. Opposition: Thief of Light
  51. Joint Trolls: Karkat (Thief of Heart) and Tavros (Bard of Light)
  52.
  53. The Rogue of Void can take hidden knowledge and give it to others to use, as well as being able to use the void itself to protect others. They can also use that knowledge and save them from hidden threats.
  54. However, to realize that, they must first take knowledge and fortune for themselves, possibly influencing others using that knowledge in order to help himself gain his ascension.
  55. Karkat may help Gamzee reach that point, as the Thief of Heart could take some of Gamzee's emotions for himself; for instance, Karkat could take Gamzee's light-heartedness for himself, thus allowing Gamzee to influence others more efficiently.
  56. However, Tavros and Gamzee may have conflict, as Gamzee's reversal requires that he use knowledge in order to ascend, while Tavros allows knowledge and fortune to be destroyed. It may eventually boil down into full-on aspect confliction, thus causing the need for one of them to be killed or have their aspect be used elsewhere.
  57.
  58. Eridan Ampora
  59. Blood: Jade
  60. Title: Mage of Time
  61. Opposition: Seer of Space
  62. Joint Trolls: Terezi (Seer of Doom) and Equius (Prince of Space)
  63.
  64. The Mage of Time would be influenced by time, possibly being randomly zapped to other timelines by alternate selves or another player, or even seeing visions that influence him to take action and prevent a doomed timeline.
  65. However, first they must see and conduct space, whether it's figuring out how to change the size of an object or learning just how space's boundaries work. They may be forced to use quite a bit of alchemization and resizing in order to reach their Quest Cocoon.
  66. Terezi would be useful in helping him when he fully realizes his role, whether by using him as a pawn or having him help her ascend as well. In addition, she can point him to places in the timeline where the timeline would be doomed.
  67. With Equius, however, Eridan would be influenced by the gaps in space due to destruction, thus forcing him to either attempt to stop Equius from destroying his aspect, or be forced to be manipulated by time/space breakage.
  68.
  69. Feferi Peixes
  70. Blood: Teal
  71. Title: Maid of Rage
  72. Opposition: Page of Blood
  73. Joint Trolls: Sollux (Page of Hope) and Kanaya (Heir of Blood)
  74.
  75. The Maid of Rage would serve to keep secrets, break pacts, and literal rage. In addition, she can use those powers to serve herself, or use broken pacts and promises in order to fully manipulate the battlefield.
  76. However, first she must mature in potential in pacts themselves--for to use broken pacts, shouldn't one have experience in them? She may use her friends to help her ascend, before turning on them when she achieves her full potential.
  77. Sollux may help her before she ascends, even as he matures in his aspect or reversal. Feferi, meanwhile, will be able to use her reversal to make a pact with him, thus gaining a strong ally to later manipulate.
  78. Kanaya may be able to calm her rage, either preventing her ascension or at least prevent her from killing everyone. That would cause Feferi to instead rely on the broken-pacts part of her aspect, rather than the rage part.
  79.
  80. Karkat Vantas
  81. Blood: Azure/Cerulean
  82. Title: Thief of Heart
  83. Opposition: Rogue of Breath
  84. Joint Trolls: Gamzee (Rogue of Void) and Nepeta (Sylph of Breath)
  85.
  86. The Thief of Heart can take others' emotions for themselves, either calming themselves down in the face of danger or taking others' anger in order to turn themselves into a pillar of barbarian rage. In addition, they may be more in tune with others due to their mastery in emotions.
  87. However, first they must learn to use breath for others, whether it be by making speeches (thus "wasting their breath", I guess?) or leading others on and setting others up in quadrants. ("taking one's breath away")
  88. Gamzee would be rather useful to Karkat, whether Karkat uses him as a way to "waste his breath" or as a reservoir for emotions.
  89. Nepeta, on the other hand, may be able to "heal" Karkat's "breath" when he talks too much, and in turn, he'd be able to keep himself in a good mood using her emotions.
  90.
  91. Aradia Megido
  92. Blood: Blue
  93. Title: Witch of Mind
  94. Opposition: Sylph of Hope
  95. Joint Trolls: Nepeta (Sylph of Breath) and Sollux (Page of Hope)
  96.
  97. The Witch of Mind may be able to manipulate others' minds and decisions, becoming their personal compass as well as a manipulator. She may be able to replace their opinions with her own, or even wipe out certain memories entirely.
  98. However, first she must learn to heal hope--she may be forced to do this in her land's quest, or among her team members, before she can ascend.
  99. Nepeta may be used as a pawn for Aradia once she ascends, considering that Nepeta is the heiress as well as a formidable troll. She can influence Nepeta by healing her hopes before controlling her mind.
  100. With Sollux, she can help him find his potential by healing his hopes, later reaping the benefits in having an ally strong in hope while she herself has the power of controlling minds. Sollux's hope may even cause her to use her powers less.
  101.
  102. Tavros Nitram
  103. Blood: Indigo
  104. Title: Bard of Light
  105. Opposition: Prince of Void
  106. Joint Trolls: Equius (Prince of Space) and Gamzee (Rogue of Void)
  107.
  108. The Bard of Light allows fortune and knowledge to be destroyed, whether it be his team's or his opponents'. There's a possibility that he may allow his own fortune or knowledge to be destroyed, or even both.
  109. First, though, he must destroy hidden knowledge or the void. His quest may be to destroy a great library in his land, or kill someone who has far too many secrets amongst the trolls. It may even be to expose such hidden knowledge, only to later allow its destruction.
  110. Equius may be a tool in his ascension, his secrets or his knowledge being destroyed in order for Tavros to ascend; there's also the fact that Equius could have his knowledge or fortune destroyed being allowed destruction after Tavros ascends.
  111. Tavros and Gamzee would have major conflicts, both before and after ascension; before ascending, Tavros needs to destroy knowledge, Gamzee needs to learn to use it for himself; after ascension, Tavros would destroy knowledge, while Gamzee needs to distribute hidden knowledge amongst his team or use it for himself.
  112.
  113. Sollux Captor
  114. Blood: Violet
  115. Title: Page of Hope
  116. Opposition: Maid of Mind
  117. Joint Trolls: Feferi (Maid of Rage) and Aradia (Witch of Mind)
  118.
  119. The Page of Hope would mature in hope, before being able to wield the power of hope--similar to Eridan's wwhite science wwand, he may have an object that is concentrated with hope as a weapon, one that grows more powerful as Sollux grows more in his potential.
  120. However, he must first serve and use logic to his advantages; perhaps his land has a lot of puzzles designed to challenge mental processes? His quest might be a gigantic puzzle designed to make him think quite a bit.
  121. With Feferi, he may be key in easing her, especially after he ascends, giving her hope as she serves her own aspect, no matter how full of secrets it is. In return, she may influence him using their pact, if any, in order to wield hope against others.
  122. Aradia may be able to use Sollux as a pawn, or else Sollux would be able to use her to give hope to others. Either way, this alliance may be a very useful one, one that could pull the strings in the team.
  123.
  124. Nepeta Leijon
  125. Blood: Tyrian
  126. Title: Sylph of Breath
  127. Opposition: Witch of Heart
  128. Joint Trolls: Aradia (Witch of Mind) and Karkat (Thief of Heart)
  129.
  130. The Sylph of Breath would be able to heal wind, or even use wind as a component to heal others. One of her uses may be to give someone back their voice (their "breath") or even save them from drowning or suffocation.
  131. However, she must first learn to control the hearts of others, swaying others' emotions and improving or destroying relationships based on emotions alone. Her quest may be to calm her denizen, or even enrage it in order to kill it.
  132. With Aradia, she may be able to get a few tips in manipulation, especially before she herself ascends; however, Aradia may turn the tables on her and use her as a pawn, especially considering her place in the hemospectrum.
  133. With Karkat, she may be able to help him ascend, before becoming a support member for him by keeping his "breath" strong and steady.
  134.
  135. As a whole, the team has potential to succeed, but there are several glaring placements that could doom them.
  136.
  137. Namely:
  138. Equius being a Prince of Space (and considering his place in the hemospectrum, very easy to influence)
  139. Gamzee and Tavros's title/aspect conflictions
  140. Both of the seatrolls having the potential to be influenced easily
  141. Feferi's major game-changing title/reversal potential (building up relationships before using betrayals to her advantage?)
  142. Eridan being forced to be influenced by time, and possibly influenced to be prevented from properly performing the Scratch
  143.
  144. Other influences such as their actual characters are also game-changers, even if not taken into account; despite this, though, the game-changing flaws are there, and could wreck their session entirely.
