  1. Name: Gaheris
  2.
  3. Class: Saber
  4.
  5. Gender: Male
  6.
  7. Appearance: https://i.imgur.com/nhoEHfk.png
  8.
  9. Alignment: Lawful Neutral
  10.
  11. Personality: Having been the subject of Morgan's experiments since his earliest years, Gaheris' development was hindered on both a physical and mental level. Despite being just a few years younger than Gawain, his looks are more properly defined as pretty rather than manly, fooling many into the impression that he was Gareth's twin rather than her older brother.
  12.
  13. Before being welcomed into King Arthur's court, his personality was best described as non-existent, but after experiencing fear for the first time he slowly began to develop an ego through his interactions with Gawain and later Gareth.
  14.
  15. As a Knight of the Round Table, he is quiet but extremely so. He only speaks if prompted, but one shouldn't even expect him to contribute to the discussion any further. Rather than rudeness, it's because he is always unsure when it comes to conversations.
  16.
  17. Because of his poor communication skills, it is easy to misunderstand his actions or grow frustrated with his unresponsiveness. Precisely due to the fact that it is hard to bond with him, he treasures his friends greatly and is willing to even antagonize a king for them. However, he will never compromise when it comes to his personal beliefs, even if it involves his siblings.
  18. He tends to be blunt, such as reporting a knight's death to his wife and walking away without consoling her. Although he has the self-awareness to recognize his mistakes when pointed out to him, he finds it hard to correct them. He has a "needlessly" kind side that shows concern towards the troubles of commoners and peasants - in more than one occasion, he spent his own coins to prevent farmers from dying due to an unlucky harvest or an animal devoured by wolves - but his ignorance regarding inherent goodness makes him dismiss the whole matter as pure objectivity on his part.
  19.
  20. It is hard to anger him, but once slighted he will never let go of a grudge. It is not because of pettiness, but because only a truly awful crime would enrage him. In this aspect, he truly inherited his mother Morgan's dark nature. Had he survived his fight against Lancelot, he would have utterly ruined his life and made him even more miserable than he was after King Arthur's death. Gaheris truly despised Lancelot blaming the man ever since the Battle of Wicked Pass for being nothing but a mere shadow compared to the rest of the Knights of the Round Table.
  21.
  22. His gaze is always pointed downward, making others perceive him as constantly lost in thoughts, so many are surprised by its intensity when starting directly into his eyes. This and his soft demeanor drew many comparisons between Sir Gaheris and Sir Tristan, although not an undeserved one given their close relationship.
  23.
  24. People formulate judgments based on the assumptions they built over the years, but Gaheris lacks the sort of experience that would allow him to do that. When he meets someone, he doesn't categorize them as "evil" or "good". As a Knight of the Round Table, he will protect the innocents and battle the wicked, but only because that's his duty. Similarly, he didn't cut ties with Morgan because she was "evil" but due to her inhumanity.
  25.
  26. Compared to most Knights of the Round Table, he holds less loyalty towards King Arthur - or perhaps it might be more accurate to say that he isn't as fanatical. Unlike those who saw the king as a great ruler detached from regular beings - both in terms of power and personality - Gaheris considered King Arthur "an admirable person".
  27.
  28. He is devoted to the king because the king is human, so his admiration is personal rather than dutiful. Unsurprisingly, the restraint he set upon the holy lance Rhongomyniad is "The battle must not be inhumane." - in other words, King Arthur must retain his form as someone who loves and suffers like anyone else.
  29.
  30. In battle, he is completely merciless. Whether it's a child or an elderly, his blade won't waver at all. One might accuse him of being without morals, but his decisiveness is simply a trait born from a lack of the prejudices that commonly associate a "child" with "innocence". Of course, he won't kill unless provided with a reasonable justification. He's practical in both combat and tactics, to the point that many would point out "How are you not an Assassin?” Yet it is also contradictory due to how he will openly fight opponents much like a Knight.
  31.
  32. In regards to his Master, he applies the same standards he holds for King Arthur. Instead of "good" and "evil", compatibility relies on whether one is "humane" or "inhumane". Due to how a typical magus' mind operates, he is a bad fit for most "proper" Masters.
  33.
  34. Gaheris is a tactician that also has pure strength on his side, his method of fighting is a paradox as he fight’s with no real honor yet confronts and respects his opponents as a knight should, a contradiction in of itself however it makes for an unmerciful combatant who will attempt to end the fight as fast as possible, noted by his usual opening move being an attempt to cut the head off the opponent, usually using the Greatsword he wields as a large execution blade.
  35.
  36. Should this not work he will result to a more tactical approach, using feints and even detaching his Noble Phantasm in favor of giving himself more weapons, in hopes to trick an opponent to make a mistake, he will not attempt to correct anyone who underestimates him as a combatant in fact he will always attempt to use it in his favor.
  37.
  38. His method of fighting can be described as a Knight who also embodies the markings of a skilled Assassin, yet refuses to lurk and hide in the shadows like one and insteads operates like a Mercenary of sorts, cold-hearted.
  39.
  40. It is almost certain if his opponent was Lancelot he would be more akin to a raging Berserker screaming madly at the man and attempting to cut him down with no rational thought put into strategy, he would devote all his strength into killing the bastard.
  41.
  42. History: The gloomy child born from the union of Morgan le Fay and King Lot, he was the third heir to the Picts after his brothers Gawain and Agravain.
  43.
  44. Gaheris was born as a boy that Morgan had intended to raise as a foe against King Arthur, not to directly kill Arthur but rather to merely strike away at her Knight’s in combat cursing his arm to have incredible strength, however once it became clear Gaheris was not interested in such things and refused to be Morgan’s Tool, she threw him to the side.
  45.
  46. Gaheris however lacked a personality a reason to live and fight, it was his sibling Gawain that gave him such a reason taking him on as a Squire and soon enough found through various ventures found himself as a Knight of the Round Table.
  47.
  48. As he was trained it became rather clear to Gawain that no ordinary blade would work with his arm, he needed his own a custom blade, Gaheris resorted to something simple and blatant a large oversized slab of steel that was shaped in the right way to resemble a blade, and he commissioned it to be turned into one, while it had no magical properties it made him stand out from the rest of the Knight’s and in order to tell the difference between Gareth and himself be spiked his hair back.
  49.
  50. In one event the Queen of the Fairy Isles sent Gaheris flowers, proclaiming that he was destined to surpass the valor and goodness of all the Knights of the Round Table, besides two Lancelot and Galahad, a promise of glory that would soon come to pass.
  51.
  52. Gaheris was soon given his own true quest, he was to investigate the disappearance of several maidens within the region near the Dolorous Tower, what he found was that the local lords of the land were having their own maidens being whisked off by Giants one such Giant Aupatris the father of ‘Carados of the Dolorous Tower’ engaged the Knight, thinking Gaheris would be easy prey.
  53.
  54. He found himself soon enough wrong, it was as if the knight himself had the strength of a Giant himself they were able to match blow for blow, Gaheris taking advantage of his agile frame and his arm in order to constantly cut away at the Giant with large cleaving blows, at the same time showing no mercy, using what tricks he could in order to achieve victory.
  55.
  56. During this time, Gawain and Ywain would be kidnapped and Carados would seek revenge for his father’s death, leading to a confrontation at the Wicked Pass, Gaheris along with several other Knight’s arrived and when it became clear Carados would not submit to defeat, Gaheris stepped up and challenged him.
  57.
  58. Unlike with Aupatris, Carados was far more vicious and hard to overcome his blade constantly bouncing off the Giant and chipping, eventually the large slab broke, Lancelot ready to step in however was stopped by the maiden Floree who was able to retrieve a massive blade, Lancelot himself could not wield it, so Gaheris opted to wield it.
  59.
  60. From here on the tide of the battle instantly changed with a mere feint strike that Carados fell for, Gaheris was able to cut his head clean off, ending the battle swiftly and rescuing his Brother and Sir Ywain.
  61. What should’ve been his glory, what should’ve been the songs and tales sung of Gaheris the Giant Slayer were not at all credited to him, was it because of his gloomy and not outspoken attitude, was it because he did not give off the presence of a Noble Knight?
  62.
  63. Whatever the case, all of the credit was to go to Lancelot, every last bit of it and the Knight of the Lake did not attempt to even correct the misconception, afterall who would believe the Brother of the Knight of the Sun, a boy stuck in his older brother’s shadow would actually defeat one of the most powerful Giants.
  64.
  65. This event began a grudge a rift between himself and Lancelot, when Gareth would go on about how great the Knight of the Lake was, Gaheris was merely agitated and annoyed, he began to see more and more of what he viewed as a truly flawed knight, had he and Galahad interacted much they would’ve likely seen eye to eye on the man.
  66.
  67. As time past Gaheris became close friends with the Knight Sir Tristan who took the spot of Sir Morholt who had obligations within Ireland, choosing his home over his comrades and fellow knights within the Round Table, it was Gaheris who supported Tristan on all matters relating to Iseult.
  68.
  69. The two had similar things, both being rather unspoken and generally keeping to themselves however it was words that would forever haunt the Round Table, Camelot and the rest of Arthur’s Reign
  70.
  71. “The King does not understand the hearts of humans.”
  72.
  73. And thus the fall of Camelot began in a sequence of chained events, Gaheris himself remained in this time quiet, observing everything and all, eventually he came to light of a certain not Sir Lamorak and his constant outings.
  74.
  75. Gaheris on a mere whim decided to follow him, leading to someone he had not seen nor heard from in years his mother Morgan as it had turned out, he and Morgan had fallen in love, whether by spell, anger at her mother he was not sure but without thinking he rushed in and attempted to slice Morgan’s head clean off.
  76.
  77.
  78. He was easily countered and Morgan was able to escape Sir Gaheris, quickly coming to his senses, he attempted to catch up with Lamorak and find out more about what was going on and why a proud Knight of the Round was caught with a mad woman trying to bring an end to their king’s rule.
  79.
  80. lost in the confusion Lamorak quickly returned to Camelot in hopes to avoid the situation, however before he could even return as if it had all been planned, Mordred stabbed Lamorak in the back killing him and pinning the blame on Gaheris.
  81.
  82. What happened next only further the divide between the Knight’s conflict sparked between if Gaheris did or didn’t do it, everything pointed to him yet Gawain and Gareth both stood firm that their brother would never kill a fellow comrade in cold blood.
  83.
  84. Before things could get even worse Gaheris approached the king, bent the knee and accepted his crimes, resigning himself from the Round Table and throwing away his titles even as a Knight.
  85. He would not return to Camelot until the time for Guinevere’s trial came and he was asked to attend as an unarmed guard and to act as a witness to the trial he couldn’t help but smile softly glad to be within his younger sister’s presence despite the sad circumstances.
  86.
  87. The next thing he knew, blood of his sister covered Sir Lancelot, some of it splaying on himself, all he saw was red her sister who admired and adored the Knight of the Lake, who was the kindest among all of the Round Table, had been killed.
  88.
  89. Gaheris charged arm ready to finally crush this bastard who betrayed everyone his king, his comrades, his family, his friends who had thrown it all away because of his selfishness, before he could even touch Lancelot his throat had been crushed and the Knight’s blade was plunged cleaved him into two....
  90.
  91. So ended the tale of Sir Gaheris.
  92.
  93. Weapon: Six Blades
  94.
  95. Parameters:
  96.
  97. STR: A+
  98.
  99. END: B
  100.
  101. AGI: B
  102.
  103. MGI: B
  104.
  105. LCK: C
  106.
  107. Class Skills:
  108. Magic Resistance: B
  109. Grants protection against magical effects. At this rank, spells with a chant below three verses are canceled. Even if targeted by High-Thaumaturgy and Greater Rituals, it is difficult for Saber to be affected. He inherently existed in age and time where magic was slowly fading, yet creatures of divinity still existed and acted, his ranking is natural within his class.
  110.
  111. Riding: C
  112. The ability to ride mounts and vehicles. At this rank, most vehicles and animals can be handled with average skill, even vehicles that did not exist in one's time period. However, the likes of Phantasmal Species such as Monstrous Beasts can't be ridden. This rank is only natural for a Knight of the Round Table, but as Saber isn't known for any particular riding feat, the rank can't rise further.
  113.
  114. Personal Skills:
  115. Giant Slayer: A
  116. A skill indicating someone as a Slayer of the Mythical Beasts known as ‘Giants’ it increases the damage done to anything that can be associated as a ‘Giant’ or ‘Large Man’. Gaheris claim to fame as a Knight of the Round Table was despite what appeared to be an average Knight his ability to slay Giants with ease, a case in which Lancelot took all the glory he saved his Brother Gawain and the Knight of the Lion ‘Ywains’ life, by slaying Cardos of the Dolorous Tower.
  117.
  118. Knight's Tactics: B
  119. A methodology of battle in which Saber grasps the flow of battle and induces his opponent to make mistakes whether it be taking the bait in parrying a Feint or to charge in with reckless abandon, this skill applies even if the opponent is stronger than Saber himself, it is a skill not for self-strengthening but rather to invite a check for failure on the opponent, consisting of composed observation powers to wage on the momentary chance of victory, while certainly not herald as the strongest of the Knights of the Round, he was considered to be ‘cream of the top’ and at one point destined by a Queen of the Fairy Isles to surpass all those in the Knights of the Round Table besides two (Galahad and Lancelot) in his glory, his tactical prowess in handling giants allows for a rank up in the skill when faced against them or something similar.
  120.
  121. Uncrowned Martial Arts: B
  122. Arms competency that was not recognized by others for various reasons, to his opponents the rank of his Riding skill and his Physical Parameters appear a rank lower than they actually are. The skill is in reference to The Battle of Wicked Pass, a battle in which Gaheris proved his might against giants and even their leader Cardos of the Dolorous Tower, better known as ‘Caradoc’, however despite his claim to victory, despite what should’ve been his glory it was not his name sung in legends, rather it was Lancelot for who would believe the brother who lived in Gawain’s shadow could ever achieve such a thing? He was destined for glory, however nothing said it was glory that would be sung about.
  123.
  124. Eye of the Mind (True): B
  125. He is capable of calm analysis of his opponents abilities, as well as the conditions surrounding the battle itself, even in a situation where he himself is danger, allows him to deduce the appropriate course of action after considering all possibilities of escape from the predicament, so long as there is even a 1% chance of comeback, the ability will improve his chances of winning the confrontation. The Vulgate legends of Sir Gaheris, compared him to rival his skill with that of Gawain's while arguably not true, it cannot be denied on his various quests he won all of his battles against the opposing knights or monsters who stood in his way, if the skill was an anecdote for anything it was his prowess at being able to turn a situation that he shouldn't be able to normally win into a winnable one through calm analysis of his opponents weakness.
  126.
  127. Bravery: B
  128. The ability to negate mental interference such as pressure and confusion or even fascination, it also increases his melee damage as a bonus effect, this skill is sealed way when under the influence of Mad Enhancement. Gaheris was a brave soul, such as the time he rescued two of his siblings from Sorneham of Newcastle and or the time, despite being warned by Ywain that The Rock of the Maidens was a place where one would lose their memory, pushed onward in order to rescue Sir Morholt and his own older brother and finally in his efforts to single-handedly face down the Giant Aupatris.
  129.
  130. Noble Phantasm(s):
  131.
  132. Name: Morgan Llaw Dbu
  133.
  134. Title: Long Arm
  135.
  136. Rank: C
  137.
  138. NP Type: Anti-Unit/Anti-Unit(Self)
  139.
  140. Range: 1~50
  141.
  142. Maximum Number of Targets: 10
  143.
  144. Description: The cursed right arm of Heroic Spirit Gaheris, a burden forced upon him by his mother Morgan le Fay. Its name is inspired by the legendary King of Britons, Lludd Llaw Eraint - Llud of the Silver Hand - so it also symbolizes her dark ambitions.
  145.
  146. It was said that Gaheris hid his right arm because it was longer than his left one. Knights who believed such a rumor thought it foolish to be ashamed for something that could grant increased prowess in battle, but only his siblings were aware of his arm's true nature.
  147.
  148. The Arm itself proved to be impossible to use with regular blades, most swords broke into pieces when he used it with them constantly over and over, it was not until he commissioned his own blade, a large slab of sharpened and well shaped steel turned into what he called a sword, however Sir Kay referred to it as a ‘Wacking Slab of Metal’
  149.
  150. The arm is a tool of power the curse used by Morgan was an attempt to make Gaheris her tool something she could use to her advantage train him as a way to strike at Arthur’s Knights, however such an attempt failed and Gaheris was merely cast aside much like his siblings.
  151.
  152. This Noble Phantasm operates as an empowerment tool so to speak stronger than even a Giant’s Arm and thus what allowed him to match blow to blow with Giants and even other Knights of the Round Table, his strength was incredible despite his slim frame.
  153.
  154. It is an Anti-Unit Noble Phantasm that attempts to crush the opponent with it’s sheer strength whether with the arm itself or by using a weapon that is compatible with the Arm itself.
  155.
  156. Name: Aupatris
  157.
  158. Title: Sword of Immortal Giant Slaying
  159.
  160. Rank: B+
  161.
  162. NP Type: Anti-Unit
  163.
  164. Range: 1~50
  165.
  166. Maximum Number of Targets: 10
  167.
  168. Description: A sword that looks very similar to the sword he had made for him, it cannot be described as a singular sword by rather in the legend itself it is said that the captured maiden Floree handed him the Magical Sword and with it was able to behead the Giant Cardos of the Dolorous Tower.
  169.
  170. However the truth behind the sword is rather simple it is a Magical Sword that requires one to have the Strength of Giants to wield it, in that moment Lancelot himself could not wield the blade and thus Gaheris did so, desperate to save his Brother and Sir Ywain, however the achievement of what Gaheris did was handed off to Lancelot, yet Gaheris still kept the blade it’s named after the giant that Gaheris did get credit for killing Cardos’s father ‘Aupatris’ it shares the trait of being able to cut through even the Immortal, this was due to how difficult Giants were to put down, their divine nature made it so mere simple blades and armaments could not strike them down and their strength usually required a collaborative effort to defeat, the blade was enchanted to strike through their resilient skin and even armor, it was how with a mere feint and large gaping swing, Gaheris beheaded the monster.
  171.
  172. The Noble Phantasm of course is perfect for slaying Giants of any kind and against normal foes is not as destructive yet still share the trait of being able to cleave through armor and immortality, those with Divine Blood are not off limits either, the reasons behind this beyond the enchantment becomes clear when the swords true nature is revealed, it is a magic blade that holds ‘six swords’ however it’s true power cannot be achieved without all six swords connected to each other, as individually each sword is just that a normal blade, however when attached together to great it’s ‘Greatsword Form’ they become the Noble Phantasm ‘Aupatris’
