  37. Tizona: 'The Firebrand Greatsword' - A
  38. Anti-Unit/Anti-Army Noble Phantasm
  39. One the two blades which Rodrigo used in his life. It is a two-handed greatsword which the Spanish hero is capable of wielding singlehandedly. The most famous sword of El Cid forged of Damascan steel that still exists to this day, acting as a guaranteed catalyst. In his hands, Tizona possesses an eternal fire enchantment, inflicting magical fire damage alongside regular strikes that cannot have their damage reduces, even by means of Magical Resistance. In effect, this weapon acts as if the Prana Burst (Flames) skill was always active at a minimal cost to him. Utilizing its full power he can charge forwards and annihilate the enemies like a shooting star with the sword projecting burning prana. It has no other extravagant effect aside from this and is otherwise a simple Noble Phantasm that just does a large amount of damage. There is a drawback to using this sword, it's fame and recognition. Using it in battle will alert everyone in the vicinity as to his true identity.
  40.
  41. Colada: 'Purest Blade of Clarity' - B
  42. Anti-Unit Noble Phantasm
  43. The second sword of Eld Cid who won it in combat from the Count of Barcelona. A fine silver rapier known for its flawless construction with no impurities. When drawn it gives off a pale ethereal glow that unsettles the opponent. Said to terrorize any unworthy opponent such as the duel against the infante Diego González. Any servant who does not possess Bravery or an equivalent of equal rank will have to make a saving throw, if failed the opponent will become terrified and be considered to be disadvantageous in every action against the user of Colada. Those who roll a critical failure will become temporarily paralyzed with fear. Due to being less recognizable than his more famous greatsword, Colada will become his primary Noble Phantasm in terms of usage.
  44. _______________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________
  45. Rodrigo Diaz de Vivar, better known as El Cid Campeador was the most famous hero of all of Spain much like how King Arthur is to the British isles and the Paladins of Charlemagne are to France.
  46.
  47. Born in Castile to a minor noble house he showed all the signs of a great knight in his youth and became a champion of his king, commanding forces against rival kingdoms. However, when his king dies under dubious circumstances, his brother Alfonso became king whom El Cid had help remove him from power. Slowly over time, El Cid was ostracised from the courts until he was outright banished.
  48.
  49. El Cid took his most loyal troops with him and effectively became a mercenary army and came unto the service of another kingdom. He repeatedly won victory after victory and added to his private forces Christians and Muslims alike and regained his reputation as a flawless commander. When King Alfonso was facing difficulty against a formidable threat, he revoked the banishment of El Cid and the man took his forces to the king in service for two years. However it all fell apart when during a doomed battle the king ordered El Cid to send his forces to assist, knowing that battle's defeat was inevitable and that his loyal comrades would be needlessly slaughtered, he refused. Disgraced again he was once again banished.
  50.
  51. His multicultural army united in loyalty to El Cid followed him and he quickly became the dominant military force in eastern Spain and conquered his own city-state and surrounding towns, effectively forging his own kingdom. He defended his new home of Valencia till his dying breath. Some legends say he died in combat and won his last battle as a dead man, others say it was from famine during siege. His wife ruled and defended their home in his stead but was eventually forced to surrender against unwinnable odds. Regardless he possessed extreme marital prowess alongside respect and loyalty from his comrades.
  52.
  53. A twice disgraced knight who rose again as a lord then a king, he appreciates the finer things in life but is very humble and knows the true value of the simple things in life. Warm and friendly towards his allies, formal and business-like to his foes he is fond of a certain philosophical question: "A priest, a king and a rich man approach a sellsword and asks him to kill the other two, what does he do?" Having united those of opposing faith, had-and-lost fortunes, ruled and been ruled he knows the answer "It matters not for power is an illusion, it exists where we believe it exists."
