    yuxian really does give a lot of hugs and cuddles
    to the people he's close with. while admitting that
    he's clingy and touchy, yuxian excuses his
    affectionate self with 'being deprived of love as
    a child' when he certainly wasn't
       ❛ SENSITIVE + EMOTIONAL ❳❳
    yuxian had never been particularly good at
    controlling his emotions, where he cries when
    he feels the need to and lashes out when he
    feels angry. he doesn't feel the need to hold his
    emotions back either, which explains his open
    personality and yet, he's sensitive to others'
    emotions and words. if one was to criticise him,
    he'd have the criticism in mind all day long and
    work hard to overcome them. it's easy to rile
    yuxian up
       ❛ COMPASSIONATE ❳❳
    it's pretty hard to actually dislike yuxian due
    to this trait of his. he's brought a box of
    homeless puppies back home before and has
    helped multiple people in occasions where he
    certainly didn't need to. as an example, he's
    helped an old lady with her groceries, gotten a
    cat down a tree and allowed others to go before
    him when he had been rushing to queue for a
    popular pastry store
       ❛ DRAMATIC ❳❳
   while seeming to overreact, yuxian has a habit of
   exaggerating his movements, and occasionally his
   words, when he feels strong emotions. when yuxian
   laughs, he's often seen throwing himself at someone
   or hitting the person nearest to him. when yuxian is
   upset, he usually grows distant and quiet, sometimes
   slamming doors, ugly crying or screaming when he's
   really that upset

    yuxian seems to need a good amount of action
    before he gets tired. like a child, he can be full of
    energy the entire day, bouncing around the building
    non-stop and still being cheerful and hyper. yuxian
    blames it on his past as an athlete (figure skating)
    and dancer but perhaps it's just how he is

    it's genuinely quite a challenge to not fall for
    yuxian's charms both as a person and a performer.
    his gaze and smirk on stage can catch a lot of
    attention due to the flirty look of his and make
    others interested in him but at the end of the day,
    his sweet smile and thoughtful behaviour for others
    can easily capture everyone's heart

    he would most definitely win every argument he
    ever once participated in and his debate team in
    middle school even won champion twice
    before. some wonder why he didn't become a
    lawyer. yuxian doesn't go down easy in arguments
    and seems to always want things his way but he
    truly just thinks his ideas are always the best

    ❛ yuxian has previously participated in several shows in china,

    ❛ yuxian calls his fans his 'little stars' (小星星) because the 欲
      from yuxian's name means to desire or wish and he finds it
      poetic due to the phrase 'to wish upon a star' and the fans
      are technically the ones that allow yuxian's dreams to come

     ❛ yuxian's brother works as a full-time webtoon artist and at
       a pet adoption center as a side job. during yuxian's hiatus
       from the industry, he's helped his brother out at the center ❳❳
     ❛ yuxian is extremely flexible and good at balancing from having
       done figure skating and ballet since he was a child. he doesn't
       do ballet very often now but during his hiatus, he's participated
       in several figure skating competitions for fun and won quite a
       number of medals ❳❳
     ❛ yuxian is particularly creative and good at writing lyrics. with the
       help of his friends, yuxian has been able to release a few songs
       on soundcloud and spotify during his hiatus ❳❳
     ❛ prior to debuting in ready, yuxian had been recruited
       and trained in jyp ent when he was a preteen but moved
       back to china after two years due to homesickness and
       bullying from other trainees and trainers ❳❳

       short but hates it when he can't do certain things or when

       if you aren't a deep sleeper as he snores, talks and sleeps

       most kpop songs as he has always been a multi kpop fan.
