Former cop Brian O'Conner is called upon to bust a dangerous criminal and he recruits the help of a former childhood friend and street racer who has a chance to redeem himself.
Now an ex-cop , on the run ,Brian O'Connor (Paul Walker) hooks into outlaw street racing. When the Fed's strong arm him back O'Connor's no rules win-or-die skills are unleashed against an international drug Lord . With his velocity-addicted buddy ( Tyrese) riding shotgun ,and a drop dead- gorgeous undercover agent( Eva Mendes) dialing up the heat , 2 fast 2 furious accelerates the action into a desperate race for survival, justice ... and a mind - blowing jaw dropping speed!
It looked like they ran out of money 90% of the way through and had to slap together an ending on the spot. Not that the rest of the movie was anything much, but to end it like that is inexcusable. I saw this movie at a bargain cinema and STILL think I got ripped off!!! Stick a fork in this turkey - it's done. I wouldn't see another of these with a gun to my head.
Aww.... how shall I begin... Well, I can honestly say that watching this movie was a rather painful experience. The plot was meaningless, the characters were silly, acting was awful. I just don't understand that they even bothered trying to make a plot, cause the movie would work fine without, just put some half-naked silicon-filled women by the pool, testosterone-in-the-air-trying-to-look-cooler-than-the-rest guys, let them race in some over-dimensioned cars throughout the movie and there's your flick. If you want some action blended with good acting skills and a more believable plot - go see "Gone in 60 seconds" instead. Rating: 1 out of 10
This shaggy-dog sequel is ultimately satisfying for the most low-tech of reasons: The competitive bond between the two central characters.
The homepage of the British Board of Film Classification (BBFC) listed the DVD of 2 Fast 2 Furious with a 12A rating in such cut and with a 15 rating in its uncut version. Unfortunately, the 15-rated DVD is cut as well. The UK DVD uses alternative footage for two short shots of Brian putting away his gun and of Enrique, Brian and Roman are kicking Enrique more often in the uncut version.  a5c7b9f00b
