Crestfallen, Binky Tailsnap touches his whiskers. "Oh. I see."

Miaei Wildbriar flits about happily.

Miaei Wildbriar sniggers evilly.

Binky Tailsnap's ears perk up with a sudden interest.

A mechanical dirigible whirs and whistles affirmatively as it slowly turns and then putters into Gurashi's hands.

With a flourish of his arm, Binky Tailsnap bows deeply.

Binky Tailsnap exclaims, "Welcome back, good sir!"

With several beats of her wings, Miaei Wildbriar alights upon Gurashi's shoulder.

Gurashi looks about the clearing, unable to hide the excitement in his face.

The song that Gurashi was performing fades away.

Looking to his shoulder, Exemplar of the Tah'vrai, Gurashi An'Ryshe exclaims to Miaei Wildbriar, "...well hello!"

Gurashi chirps happily at you.

You have emoted: Lief hovers nearer to Gurashi, leaning in as though to whisper something to him, but Miaei Wildbriar gives her pause. She draws back, tapping a finger to her freckled cheek, though she grins all the same.

A gingerbread man storms in, pumping his fist in the air to rally the troops.

Thrusting its fist defiantly into the air, a gingerbread man turns to Gurashi and shouts "Power to the Pastries!"

A gingerbread man says to Gurashi, "Guh."

A gingerbread man storms off with a savage warcry, declaring the end of the Liquorice Dynasty.

Gurashi blinks.

A squirrel skitters through the treetops somewhere above.

The chiming of precious metal striking together signals the arrival of a wheelworked extravagant magpie. While soaring overhead, a wheelworked extravagant magpie opens its back compartment and turns upside down to drop a mouldy length of a tibia into Gurashi's hands as it flashes its shiny wings triumphantly.

Gurashi coughs softly.

Precious metal chiming against each other, a wheelworked extravagant magpie flaps its brilliant, metallic plumage and takes off, soaring away.

Binky Tailsnap tugs urgently on Duethielle Ladrennbenn's sleeve.

Waving away the many things suddenly bombarding him, Exemplar of the Tah'vrai, Gurashi An'Ryshe says, "Am! Sorry! For the--."

Gurashi flails about helplessly.

Duethielle Ladrennbenn says to Binky Tailsnap, "Hmmm?"

Waving off the dirigible, Exemplar of the Tah'vrai, Gurashi An'Ryshe says, "Shoo, p-please!"

Bizirik's head begins to droop. It opens its great maw and curls back its lips to allow its forked tongue to unfurl as it yawns before snapping its mouth shut.

You giggle happily.

Binky Tailsnap exclaims to Duethielle Ladrennbenn, "We have a visitor, Duet!"

The sun reaches the zenith of the firmament, pausing in his quest to allow the land to bask in his shining golden rays.

Duethielle Ladrennbenn turns her blue eyes towards Gurashi, suddenly focuses, and raises a hand. "Oh... hi..." She smiles.

Gurashi bunches his shoulders in embarrassment, bobbing his head. "M-many apologies... just came from... nevermind," He pulls out his hand-dandy carryall, opening it up.

You have emoted: "He comes bearing gifts!" Lief beams with a delighted clap of her hands.

Gurashi catches wind of Duethielle Ladrennbenn's voice, lifting his head to meet her gaze. He pauses, at a loss of words, before uttering a little chirp and returning the wave with his smaller  right hand. "H-hello!"

Fumbling with the carryall, Exemplar of the Tah'vrai, Gurashi An'Ryshe says, "Right! And, uhm, an invitation!"

He is a compound-eyed kephera wyrden demigod. He looks imposing at first glance, standing nearly two meters high with a black chitinous exoskeleton and broad blood-orange thorax. His bulbous red eyes sit on either side of his wedge-shaped head, and a small pair of stunted antennae protrude from atop his skull, looking broken. Where his mouth would be sits a small pair of jagged mandibles. Two sets of spiny orange arms are affixed to his torso, the top set of which are long and thewy while the second are spindly and pulled close to his chest. A long abdomen hangs down to his knees and is angled away from his back, ribbed in full black bands with small orange flecks throughout. Evidence of conflict mar his once shiny carapace, with the occasional crack and abrasion clearly visible. His legs are long and covered in thick orange plates with tiny black spines tracing down the back of his calves, ending in small segmented dual-toed feet. Set on either side of his lower back are two delicate orbs that whistle and click as he breathes. Two pairs of veiny, translucent wings looking far too small for his body size hang stiffly from his back. Despite initially appearing intimidating, his demeanor is subdued, the smaller set of hands laced together tightly. Tattooed on his hands is an illustration of a bumblebee constellation. A scarlet hieroglyph rests in the centre of his forehead, flickering with occasional tongues of lightning to show the highfavour of Mysrai, the Shofet of Abyssal Scales. Wyrden flames flicker across his form like a shadowy cloak, the sweet scent of roses trailing in his wake.

Gurashi produces some cookies from the bag, looking to the faeling on his shoulder and offering her the very first. "For you, since took so long to give last time."

Repeating it back so as not to forget, Exemplar of the Tah'vrai, Gurashi An'Ryshe says to Miaei Wildbriar, "O-K. Can remember that think."

Starting to wander over to Binky, Exemplar of the Tah'vrai, Gurashi An'Ryshe says, "Miaei, Miaei..."

You have emoted: "Actually," Lief says as she gestures toward Miaei Wildbriar, "it's because of her we were able to open up a festival grounds at all. She's really very wonderful!"

Miaei Wildbriar flits over to the briar bushes all around, waving her hands about. The briars grow taller.

Miaei Wildbriar says, "Yes, necklaces, at the moment."

Gurashi chitters at Miaei Wildbriar with energetic clicks of his mandibles.
Perching briefly before Gurashi, Miaei Wildbriar takes off again, wings humming.

Faintly buzzing, Exemplar of the Tah'vrai, Gurashi An'Ryshe says to Miaei Wildbriar, "Oh! That is... actually neat!"

Gurashi chirps happily.

Gurashi beams at Miaei Wildbriar before he pulls out another cookie, though this one seems a tad bit larger than the first. He offers it to Binky Tailsnap, tilting his head. "Here. Is white chocolates and peppermints, just in time for Solstice!"

You have emoted: Lief's fingertips brush fondly against a vine-woven bone necklace at its mention, but otherwise wings lazily about near everyone, beaming.

Taking the large cookie in his hands, Binky Tailsnap says to Gurashi, "Ooh."

Gurashi beams at Binky Tailsnap. "And want to know that friend Liar has been -very- busy lately getting situated in Gaudiguchs, but have invited to bake with again, so am sure will come visit as soon as can!"

Binky Tailsnap starts to bite into the cookie, chewing. His eyes suddenly light up, and his whiskers tremble. "White chocolate!" he cries! He takes another bite, then another. He smiles at Gurashi upon hearing his news.

Gurashi finally turns to Duethielle Ladrennbenn, mandibles clicking on his face as he hesitates. "Uhm," he raises a hand with the cookie, "and, have one for you, too! Of course, M-miss Duethielle!"

Significantly more cheerful now in appearance as he finishes his cookie, Binky Tailsnap exclaims, "I love chocolate!"

The smell of wildflowers wafts past your nose.

You have emoted: Lief tilts her antlered head thoughtfully as she watches this last exchange. "What about the other gift for Duethielle?" she asks Gurashi bluntly.

Duethielle Ladrennbenn has been staring at Gurashi this whole time, her eyes blue, a smile on her face as she hums tunefully.

Gurashi suddenly chokes on seemingly nothing, quickly bringing up his arm to cough against his wrist.

Gurashi stares implacably at you.

Bizirik, the leothin chirps happily at Duethielle Ladrennbenn.

Bizirik, the leothin sits on the ground beside Gurashi, great tail lifting and slapping against the ground as it stares eagerly up towards the elfen woman, clearly recognizing her.

You have emoted: Her stare relenting into something brighter, Lief flits over to Miaei Wildbriar, leaning in to quietly ask, "Does Duethielle ever talk about him?"

Duethielle Ladrennbenn smiles at the cookie, and then immediately bends down to hand the cookie to Bizirik, the leothin. "Hello, you." She hums.

The musky scent of loam and leaves fills you with vibrancy.

Bizirik, the leothin's blank eyes grow wide as it takes the cookie from Duethielle Ladrennbenn, noisily eating it and leaving quite the mess around its mouth and snout and the ground below. Its long forked tongue slithers out to drag across the end of its nose, clearing any mess before resuming staring up at her. Its tail continues to rise and slap against the ground happily.

Flitting back and forth, Miaei Wildbriar exclaims to you, "Duet doesn't talk much!"

Gurashi blushes furiously.

Winking, Miaei Wildbriar says to you, "Only to Binky, maybe."

You hide a grin behind your hand.

Gurashi fidgets with something beneath his right arm, watching Duethielle Ladrennbenn interact with his leothin.

Bizirik, the leothin chirps happily.

Shadows grow longer in anticipation for the return of their dark mistress as Father Sun's chase brings him closer to the world's edge.

As nightfall steals the last vestiges of daylight, a slender leothin's muted coat begins to shine with a violaceous radiance, and a double pair of wings materializes, grandly extended as if they've been there all along.

Duethielle Ladrennbenn wraps an arm around Bizirik, the leothin before looking up at Gurashi. "Thank you..." Her long, white braid curls about her feet as she squats down.

Gurashi smiles weakly, antennae drooping a bit. "O-of course! Are welcome," He says, still keeping his right arm tight to his side. "B-brought Bizirik-shaped cookies too, in case did not like white chocolate ... figured Mister Binky would like other white chocolate ones," He rambles, reaching up to rub the back of his head.

You have emoted: Lief fidgets with her hands, looking extremely impatient as she glances between Gurashi and Duethielle Ladrennbenn.

Bizirik, the leothin leans heavily into Duethielle Ladrennbenn, already thrumming pleasantly.

Glancing aside, looking very nervous, Exemplar of the Tah'vrai, Gurashi An'Ryshe says to you, "Oh, ehm - have a cookie for you too, of course."

You have emoted: Lief brightens, accepting the cookie in both her hands with a merry, "Thank you!" This is good for occupying her time for a short while, as she inspects the pastry and nibbles at it.

Cut out in the shape of a circle, this little cookie has been decorated with carefully piped white chocolate to form the shape of a snowflake. Small red flecks of peppermint stick to the chocolate bits, giving it a homemade appearance. The underside of the cookie is pale and dusted with flour.

Feyr gives Gurashi the once-over, eyeing him suspiciously.

Gurashi opens his mouth to speak, then stops.

Feyr tilts his head and listens intently to you.

Feyr closes his eyes and inhales deeply, opening his eyes with an odd tilt of his head.

The wisps of condensation in the sky spread slightly as a few light clouds develop.

Faintly buzzing, Exemplar of the Tah'vrai, Gurashi An'Ryshe says to Feyr, "...uh, h-hello!"

You have emoted: Lief looks up from her cookie to smile at Feyr. "Hello!"

Feyr Yfae'dren, the Battle Tree says, "Hello. IS there a Wyrdfolk in Serenwilde?"

Feyr glances askance at Gurashi.

Feyr carefully winds the intricate mechanism on the side of an argent stopwatch of manifold fae.

Hand still in Duethielle's, Exemplar of the Tah'vrai, Gurashi An'Ryshe says, "U-uhm.... yes, am. Is. Me."

Beads of sweat break out on Gurashi's face.

Winging about, you say to Feyr, "Gurashi is here with gifts for these three, and an invitation. I am escorting him."

Feyr inclines his head politely to those around him.

Gurashi blinks.

"You are you..." Duethielle Ladrennbenn continues to hold Gurashi's hand, oblivious. She hums tunefully.

Binky Tailsnap flicks his ears and his whiskers, looking back and forth.

Gurashi's antennae raise slowly, and as Feyr leaves, he produces from under his right arm a small white box. "...uhm, yes. Have something for you."

You have emoted: Escort that she is, Lief returns to contentedly nibbling at a white chocolate and peppermint solstice cookie.

You tentatively stick out your tongue and lick a white chocolate and peppermint solstice cookie.

Duethielle Ladrennbenn lets go of Gurashi's hand and examines the small ivory music box, holding it delicately in both her hands. Her face dips down, close to the colourful creatures and shapes.

The wind whistles eerily through the trees.

Gurashi awkwardly laces his two free opposing hands together, twiddling his thumbs. "Like ... music so much, so ... thought, could something to that will always have ... a song in it."

Gurashi blushes furiously.

Miaei Wildbriar sits up high upon her branch, munching on her cookie, looking very much amused.

Bizirik, the leothin lolls its head back, tail no longer slapping the ground as it awaits more attention, seemingly oblivious to Gurashi's gesture.

Quickly, Exemplar of the Tah'vrai, Gurashi An'Ryshe exclaims, "A-and got permission from Miss Elexia to use the silver essence it requires to make...!"

Gurashi sweats profusely and wrings his hands nervously.

Duethielle Ladrennbenn says to Gurashi, "I like bumblebees..." She touches the little glass blown figure in the centre, and then at the swirling shapes of sylvan creatures and flora, causing silvery light to drift into the air, "And silvery essence..."

You have emoted: The sound of others entering draws Lief's attention from Duethielle Ladrennbenn's music box to them. She wings about with a beaming smile, a cookie in one hand and a merry wave on the other.

Nodding, still wringing his hands together, Exemplar of the Tah'vrai, Gurashi An'Ryshe says to Duethielle Ladrennbenn, "K-know you like bumblebees! S-so..."

Explaining carefully, Exemplar of the Tah'vrai, Gurashi An'Ryshe says to Duethielle Ladrennbenn, "And the ... song is uhm - is, my Wyrdsong, but, musicbox form ... is what use to protect peoples!"

Duethielle Ladrennbenn lifts her head, curious. "So?" Her blue eyes gaze into Gurashi's. "I like songs..."

You turn quickly as a twig snaps behind you.

Gurashi gulps audibly, then nods, looking to be at a loss of what to say.

Bizirik, the leothin snorts.

Slowly, deliberately, Duethielle Ladrennbenn places the music box on her head. She smiles as it continues tinkling its tune from her scalp.

Gurashi blinks.

Binky Tailsnap looks up at Duethielle Ladrennbenn with mouth open. A crumb falls from his lips.

Gurashi's eyes widen, and he stares at Duethielle Ladrennbenn, bewildered. His gaze darts from her face to the musicbox on her head, completely taken aback.

You turn quickly as a twig snaps behind you.

A fierce timberwolf tilts back his head in a low, resonant howl.

You have emoted: "It...looks good!" Lief offers to Duethielle Ladrennbenn after a moment of staring.

Dazed, Exemplar of the Tah'vrai, Gurashi An'Ryshe says to Duethielle Ladrennbenn, "...matches your... everything."

Miaei Wildbriar giggles happily.

You hide a grin behind your hand.

Miaei Wildbriar rolls back and forth in the air and laughs loudly.

Duethielle Ladrennbenn says to Gurashi, "I like it."

Perking up, Exemplar of the Tah'vrai, Gurashi An'Ryshe asks Duethielle Ladrennbenn, "R-really...?"

Duethielle Ladrennbenn twirls around in a perfect circle, the box remaining on top of her head. "Now I can dance!" She twirls again, in somewhat rhythm to the song tinkling.

Gurashi's jaw falls open as he watches Duethielle Ladrennbenn, an expression of both amazement and disbelief on his face as she begins to dance, managing to keep the music box aloft in the process.

Gurashi suddenly lets out the softest of cicada sounds, bringing up a hand to cover his mouth. "...are right!" He chirps, still watching Duethielle Ladrennbenn.

You have emoted: Lief's arm twitches now and again as she stares at Duethielle Ladrennbenn's music box, brow knit with vaguely expressed anxiety until she shakes herself out of it. "The invitation," she whispers to Gurashi.

Not taking his eyes off the dancing elfen, Exemplar of the Tah'vrai, Gurashi An'Ryshe asks you, "Huh?"

Fidgeting with her cookie, you whisper to Gurashi, "You were going to invite everyone, right?"

Snapping to, looking quite embarrassed, Exemplar of the Tah'vrai, Gurashi An'Ryshe says, "OH."

Clapping a hand over his chest, Exemplar of the Tah'vrai, Gurashi An'Ryshe says, "R-right!"

Duethielle Ladrennbenn stops suddenly and catches the music box in her hands. She smiles, staring down at it, her braid wrapping around her with ongoing momentum.

Miaei Wildbriar lands on her branch, leaning her chin on her hands, watching with a grin.

With great effort, Gurashi looks away from Duethielle Ladrennbenn just before she finishes her dance, turning to the others gathered, perking up. "Uhm, in some months, will be a festival in Glomdoring, not unlike the one that happened here, but, will be for Solstice!"

Faintly buzzing, Exemplar of the Tah'vrai, Gurashi An'Ryshe says, "And of course are all invited. Think mentioned before, but was just -idea- before, but is -happening- now."

Counting on his fingers, Exemplar of the Tah'vrai, Gurashi An'Ryshe says, "Will be a day of goods to be bought, and trees to be decorated, and pets to meet, and foods to eat."

Faintly buzzing, Exemplar of the Tah'vrai, Gurashi An'Ryshe exclaims to Binky Tailsnap, "Including that cookie that you got to sample - is exclusive! Nobody else has had beyond you all!"

Gurashi chirps happily.

The chirping of crickets surrounds you in a medley of night-time music.

As the sun's rays begin to break over the horizon, a slender leothin's amaranthine visage begins to fade back to a soft gray, wings dissolving like mist with the morning light.

Turning to look back at her, Exemplar of the Tah'vrai, Gurashi An'Ryshe asks Duethielle Ladrennbenn, "Y-yes? Do ... think would like to come?"

Quickly, to the group, Exemplar of the Tah'vrai, Gurashi An'Ryshe says, "A-all of you, of course."

Gurashi twiddles his thumbs.

Gurashi lets out another uncontained little cicada sound, quickly clearing his throat.

Faintly buzzing, Exemplar of the Tah'vrai, Gurashi An'Ryshe says to Duethielle Ladrennbenn, "U-uhm... w-would really like that!"

Gurashi smiles weakly.

After a thoughtful pause, Exemplar of the Tah'vrai, Gurashi An'Ryshe says to Duethielle Ladrennbenn, "Promise will be lots of musics."

A squirrel skitters through the treetops somewhere above.

Duethielle Ladrennbenn gives Gurashi a peck on the cheek.

You tell Exemplar of the Tah'vrai, Gurashi An'Ryshe, "You know I won't be able to make it to the party." She pauses, words lingering on the aethers, suddenly serious despite her outwardly smiling demeanor. "I hope you won't let anything happen to her if she comes to the party. Nobody like Feoragan manipulating anyone, or - anything of the sort."

Gurashi blinks.

Quickly turning red all over again, Exemplar of the Tah'vrai, Gurashi An'Ryshe says to Duethielle Ladrennbenn, "Oh, k-know!"

Looking up into the trees, Exemplar of the Tah'vrai, Gurashi An'Ryshe exclaims to Miaei Wildbriar, "Invite was for you too!"

Gurashi stares implacably at you.

Gurashi reaches into his carryall and pulls out another one, waving it about.

You have emoted: Lief's ears twitch, and she snaps her focus away from Gurashi, looking curiously to Binky Tailsnap and Miaei Wildbriar instead.

Miaei Wildbriar flits down towards Gurashi and makes to pluck the cookie from his hands.

Genuinely curious, you say to Miaei Wildbriar, "Is it because the briars won't listen to you there?"

Gurashi tilts his head curiously.

Sunlight billows across the realm, revealing the full glory of the majestic sun's luminous presence as he climbs higher into the sky.

In a loud whisper, Binky Tailsnap says to Gurashi, "Um... Duet and I have decided she tends to... offend people at parties."

Miaei Wildbriar rolls her eyes.

Gurashi blinks pointedly, watching Miaei Wildbriar disappear into the trees above. "......offend?"

Glancing aside shyly, Exemplar of the Tah'vrai, Gurashi An'Ryshe asks Binky Tailsnap, "And will bring miss Duethielle with, if can...?"

You giggle happily.

Gurashi peers at you unscrupulously.

Duethielle Ladrennbenn is still looking at Gurashi, holding the music box in her hands.

Gurashi catches Duethielle Ladrennbenn's gaze, shoulders bunching a bit as if he's been caught.

Gurashi clears his throat.

Binky Tailsnap glances at Duethielle Ladrennbenn. "She kind of... does her own thing. But she asks me what she wants sometimes. So I told her yes." He smiles. "I hope so."

Gurashi smiles weakly.

Gently, Exemplar of the Tah'vrai, Gurashi An'Ryshe says to Binky Tailsnap, "Many thank yous ... ah, you should bring a gift for the Liar. Is whole point of Solstice."

Binky Tailsnap's ears perk up with a sudden interest.

Suddenly pulling a very large folded red apron from his bag, Exemplar of the Tah'vrai, Gurashi An'Ryshe says, "Made them an -apron- so can -bake- things."

Binky Tailsnap says, "A.. a gift?"

Gurashi proudly shows off an over-sized scarlet apron:
Crafted with enough fabric to completely envelop the average faeling, this apron was clearly intended for the tallest of individuals. Soft scarlet cloth forms the bulk of this apron, with bright golden stitching keeping the various folds together. The neck strap has been made extra wide with a small metal clasp intended for adjusting as needed. Childlike images of honeycombs, bees, fruits and vegetables decorate the large central pocket on the front.
Embroidered on it are the words:
Are one in melon!

Gurashi nods his head at Binky Tailsnap.

You quickly devour a white chocolate and peppermint solstice cookie.
You sink your teeth into this cookie only to find little resistance. The bulk of the cookie is soft and fluffy. Sweet white chocolate atop the cookie melts as soon as you begin to eat, mixing with the lightness of the dough. Crunchy bits of peppermint occasionally break against your teeth as you chew. A few bites later, and the cookie is gone, the only evidence of its existence being the flour left on your fingertips.

Faintly buzzing, Exemplar of the Tah'vrai, Gurashi An'Ryshe says to Binky Tailsnap, "Solstice is about bringing happiness to peoples that love, like, and are not sure if like yet but hopefully someday will."

Binky Tailsnap's ears perk up as his attention turns towards Duethielle Ladrennbenn.

You have emoted: Lief's ears twitch as something in the shifting sunlight catches her eyes, and she lowers her gaze to throw it apologetically to the gathered group. "It looks like it's time for me to return to meditating."

Apologetically, Binky Tailsnap says to Gurashi, "Um, I think she's... gone again."

Gurashi continues to watch Duethielle Ladrennbenn, a tranquility hanging about him if only for a few moments before he is drawn back to reality. "Huh? Oh! Gosh."

With several beats of her wings, Miaei Wildbriar alights upon Gurashi's shoulder.

Gurashi pauses to look at Duethielle Ladrennbenn again before back down to Binky Tailsnap, speaking quietly. "...do ... know where goes?"

With a wicked grin, Miaei Wildbriar says to Gurashi, "He would too."

Sadly, Binky Tailsnap shakes his head at Gurashi. "I don't know. Sometimes she is with Mother Moon. Other times, she's just..." He waves his little hand at the elfen.

Gurashi creases his brow in a frown.

Birds fill your ears with serenades of happiness and love.

Showing that he understands, Gurashi nods his head slowly.

Hesitantly, albeit understanding, Exemplar of the Tah'vrai, Gurashi An'Ryshe says to you, "If are leaving, then should also go - probably is not so good to be unaccompanied in Serenwilde."

The corners of your mouth turn up as you grin mischievously.

Gurashi gives a dark mint chocolate leothin cookie to Binky Tailsnap.

Gurashi chirps happily.

With a flourish of his arm, Gurashi bows deeply.
