REMINDER THAT GRRM'S ENDING IS SUPPOSED TO BE "BITTERSWEET"

Bittersweet in this case means that the threat of the Others has been vanquished and humanity lives on, but at the price of the fact that almost everyone we know is dead.

WHAT EVERYONE NEEDS TO KEEP IN MIND IS THAT D&D WERE PRIMARILY ATTRACTED TO ADAPTING ASOIAF BECAUSE OF THE RED WEDDING

There is one last thing you have to keep in mind, and it is the fact that EURON FUNCTIONS AS META-COMMENTARY ON HOW RIDICULOUS THINGS HAVE GOTTEN IN TERMS OF WRITING. Having him kill all the 'good' characters off would be a poetic way to end the show, because in a somewhat subtle way IT WOULD FIT THE PATTERNS THE SHOW STARTED SETTING WHEN IT WENT DOWNHILL IN SEASON 5

Euron killed off the Sand Snakes and the Dorne arc in Season 7. The entire show is basically on par with the SS and Dorne arc. Ergo, D&D will have Euron kill everyone else off. He functions as meta-commentary for how ridiculous the show's writing has gotten.
