  1. It seemed that this creature just didn't know when to stop.
  2.
  3. A large group had formed in the center of Wychwood. Deo was bound to come into the mix as more bodies grew more attention.
  4.
  5. Calmly, Deo walked up beside Shinra. Not saying a thing as he faced the ground. Hands hanging by his sides.
  6. (Deo Hajara)
  7. Shinra was a much stronger yokai than she was when Gruin first met her. She was so very different as well. As more and more people gathered into the area, her small group of gathered Yokai shifted some, and Shinra calmed them with a quick twitch of her mind.
  8.
  9. She eyed down Gruin, the Yokai still dragging himself along... the Elemental was still as imposing as ever. She nodded back, a soft rumble in reply to that hiss. Even if she was no longer a Terra, she was still 'female' in a sense, and her telepathic voice reflected that.
  10.
  11. "Greetings, Gruintherche. Soon indeed, we shall feed. And this forest will be ours." she agrees. Her gaze went 180 degrees around the clearing, eyeing the many people gathering. She shifted some, moving over to the side and flicking her tails about. "Of course, there are things in our way before we can do so."
  12.
  13. She grinned. "Our enemies will fall, and we will grow powerful. Closer and closer to perfection."
  14. (Shinra)
  15. Busted
  16.
  17. Boy oh boy the fun was about to begin. Daran sat back against a tree as the everyone was gathered. Yet, the human would smirk as aman had approached him. The older man had a certain swagger to him. It was quite outstanding and made Daran keep eye on him. The boy had much thought as he saw the robes he was waering. It was the ones of the Radiant Brigade.
  18.
  19. "Well it goes like this sir. I'm going to be fairly hionest with you. That elemental yokai is in charge of us. I guess he gathers people and things for his gain or whatever yokai kind of stuff." The boy was not lying and seen no reason to lie to the older man at all. Though he would look to see Deo show up.
  20.
  21. Things were about to get really intense.
  22.
  23. "That kid in the green well lets say he has a grudge against the yokai. Probably gonna get really ugly soon. Though sir if you don't want me to get involve i will sit back. Don't feel like pissing you off for some strange reason."
  24.
  25. The boy would let the grip from his axe go. He didn't need to do anything. Well not yet at least. It was all base on how the situation would build up.
  26.
  27.
  28. (Daran Lakewater)
  29. Shura felt his necklace twitching. He exhale as watch all the people gather. Thinking to himself " Maybe this isn't as bad i think it." As he walk oover the guy with black axe.
  30.
  31. He took off his sheathed sword and sat down and look over the Axe wielder. He simply ask one question. " What the hell is going on here." As he stare at the two Yokai before him
  32. (Shura)
  33. The Infernus glanced to the Giga. Before calmly nodding in her direction. "So it shall be. Soon." The Yokai fell silent. Eyes blinking as he observed Deo. His many eyes blinked rapidly. As he chuckled.
  34.
  35. Head tilting, before the Infernus glanced to Daran. Voice carrying outwards. "Daran, do fight this fool for me. I have no time to deal with him at the moment." The Infernus bid of Daran. Before he glanced to Rain stating. "Do help him." Turning his gaze upon the Giga, he spoke lightly via telepathy.
  36.
  37. "Come Shinra, we've much to discuss elsewhere."
  38.
  39. The Yokai chuckled in a malicious cadence. Before he started to crawl elsewhere within the woods. Bidding the Giga to follow him as he took off. Hopefully leaving the male suitably distracted so he could head elsewhere. He had no time to deal with him currently. He was beneath his notice in the grand scheme of things to be certain.
  40. (Griuntherche)
  41. Rain had little to no reaction to the crowd of people gathering around, instead enraptured by the thought of what the two yokai were discussing. The young ookami was about to have the chance of a lifetime. To fight alongside the yokai and destroy an entire forest, they would be killing left and right for days on end to get that done. Finally it seemed like her training and work would be worthwhile.
  42.
  43. Of course though she was forced to somewhat tune in to the humans speaking when they begun to talk of someone with a grudge against the yokai, the phrase ‘this could get ugly’ was definitely one that put the girl a bit on edge. She looked to the group of people and attempted to discern who was the threat to be neutralized here.
  44.
  45. Of course before she could discern that information she was given orders, help kill off... someone. Not Daran, she was helping him. The girl walked a bit slowing in that direction, hoping the reactions of the three would make light of who her target was. All the while she drew her sword, ready to fight and most likely perish. Her strength was still less than noticeable.
  46. (Rain)
  47. " Hmm? " Miciel liked this kid. He was quick to answer and by the way it sounded it showed no signs of being false. So an altercation was going to take place here. Good. Very good. Miciel would pat the lad on the shoulder. He was pleased by his honesty.
  48.
  49. " Thanks for the information sport. " Though it was from here on that things were going to get a bit difficult. The aura Miciel began to give off was one filled with bloodlust as his smile grew for a moment. " How am I going to deal with this? " He pondered to himself before relaxing.
  50.
  51. " Ahh, don't kid. It's better if you stand back for now. Rather not have unwanted casualities. " On my part that is.
  52.
  53. After all, he didn't want to give people around him a different impression of him. The man they viewed him as now, was more than enough for him. A glance is made to the lad in green just by looking at the kid he could tell. This lad had a score to settle. That said....
  54.
  55. " Oh greenie. You seem like a capable lad so for now, I'm going to be watching however...under three conditions. " Miciel would lay back and rest his back on the tree. " One, Show me that you can handle this by yourself. Two, allow me to ask you and that yokai a couple questions. That is if one of you don't die and finally....Three. Show no remorse.
  56.
  57.
  58. If you can do these three things, I'll stay right here. I can see it in your eyes, this is your prey and I don't want to interfere with that. So, what do you say? You might not get another chance..."
  59. (Miciel Melym)
  60. Deo stood there paitently as he listened to what Griuntherche.
  61.
  62. It would seem that he was once again. Flee. Run away and attempt to hide himself from the blind boy.
  63.
  64. "Griuntherche. . . . That's your name right? Took me a while to learn how to say it properly. " he finally spoke.
  65.
  66. Reaching up with his right hand. He tilted up his hat to show everyone his silver eyes. Which indicated that it was either a unique eye color. Or that he was simply blind, and in his case. He was blind.
  67.
  68. With a wide smile on his face. Deo continued.
  69.
  70. "You don't want to do this Griuntherche. Don't cower away like before. It will be like your what? Fourth time you're running away from me? "
  71.
  72. He then took a step forward towards the fire giant.
  73.
  74. "It's time too ma-. . . creature up? Face me. Let's make this a fair match. Winner takes everything?" he explained.
  75.
  76. "I do not want to face your followers. Do you really think you think they can take me when I am just as strong as you? " he quizzed
  77.
  78. "Don't be a coward. Stand up for yourself and do not hide behind those who you send to their deaths. Let's finish this. Now. . . "
  79. (Deo Hajara)
  80. Asgad jumped from tree branch to tree banch with particular ease, practice makes perfect as always and he's been doing that ever since he was created. Although, he had just eaten he could not stop his hunger from growing ever bottomless. His urge to feed led him to a big scene of people ranging from a monsterous elemental yokai all the way to disatrous humans. He hopped off the branch, landing on his feet awaiting to see if he could pick off any scraps that would remain.
  81. (Asgad)
  82. Chills
  83.
  84. The man spoke as if treading grounds of a path. in his way was deadly. He thought the yokai was scary this guy swas more deadly. His whole aura gave off a certain chill. The child had no plans on fighting in this battle if the man told him to not do it. Daran would sit and look at the ground. He still was a child at the end of the day.
  85.
  86. Things seemed to be looking quite bad though. Deo was greatly out of his number range. Though Daran would wonder how the Sarradian would slip through this. It could be a very good reason for the child to understand things more. Everyone else who seem to step aside were not seeming to want to fight.
  87.
  88. Daran would have fought but that man made Daran know things will end in blood. Which the fear of death was way more stronger. The boy would simply hear deo preparing to combat the yokai. The power was intense as things were really going to get started.
  89. (Daran Lakewater)
  90. Shinra shifted a little. She felt the command to make her attack... and she snarled. Shinra eyed Deo... this one was incredibly powerful. They were both very powerful. But which did she fear more... which did she like more? She stood, and walked to Gruin, turning to sit next to him, facing Deo. She flicked her tails around. "I will die if I battle this one." she says calmly. "You know this, don't you?"
  91.
  92. Shinra stared down Deo... her eyes showed intelligence, and not animosity or aggression. She was being careful... very very careful.... And she knew that Deo knew why she was afraid. She had no doubt the lesser would obey un-abatedly to attack Deo. "Rather quickly at that. I would die very very quickly. Not even enough time for you to flee."
  93. (Shinra)
  94. Rain finally understood who the target was, but was unsure whether the score to settle and his words were going to cancel out her orders. While any other day she would have simply attacked, this seemed to be a very personal matter for the two and there were many creatures and people around ready to attack this guy. Rain stood directly beside Griuntherche, just out of range to be burned, waiting for the creature’s decision.
  95.
  96. Personally she had no allegiance for one decision or the other. Death had become a certainty while being servant to Griuntherche, and today was as valid as any other day to die. Alternatively she’d rather not, since the girl would love to live to see this forest burned, but it wasn’t a necessity. If her orders remained the same she was ready to carry them out.
  97. (Rain)
  98. Was that green haired kid, blind? If that was the case, Miciel was beginning to lose a lot of interest in the lad. He didn't lose full interest though as it was peculiar. What kind of past does a blind kid have with an elemental? Was that very yokai the one that took his sight?
  99.
  100. If that were the case then Miciel was going to indulge in this scenario just a little bit more. He was indeed curious as to why no-one else intervened after all. Miciel knew why the lad beside him didn't but the others, he wasn't quite sure. The obvious guess was that they were afraid of the yokai but that might not be the case.
  101.
  102. That blind boy....or girl? They may be stronger than they present themselves to be. " Hmm. " Miciel decided. He wanted to witness the full strength of that kid. Perhaps his interest grew more as a way to soothe his own internal conflicts. After all, he too was disabled in his own way.
  103.
  104. A brow was raised at the sight, they decided to gang up on the kid. Not a pleasing sight but the tactic was known to be used among such beasts. Those that weren't strong enough to hunt alone would hunt in groups. " Boring. Extremely boring. I don't want to see this? What I want to see---wait. "
  105.
  106. " In a way, this was good. The fight of a cornered beast.... This could be interesting. " Miciel would then tap the ground a bit, shaking it trying to get their attention. " Blind kid, don't disappoint me now. Show me a good fight and completely crush them. "
  107. (Miciel Melym)
  108. The Infernus chuckled darkly. Glancing to the Giga. A malice filled glance simply peering upon the Giga. "It matters little. Together we can surely crush him. Can break his bones, can grind him int a smear upon the grass. We can burn his form. His skin shall melt. His screams will be HEARD by all. Doesn't the thought fill you with excitement Shinra." The Infernus Yokai chuckled, simply glancing upon Deo. His eyes widening, as he smiled. "Assault him. Or I will kill you, here and now. THus you'll be dead eitherway. However work with me and we will both live through this."
  109.
  110. Teeth gleaming, in wanton hunger. Before they gnashed together as he spoke once more. "You ask me to not run. You ask me to finish this with you. Very well. I SHALL.. Prepare to burn, prepare to die within flames. Prepare to choke on ash as you deserve. Feeling your breath wheeze out of your BURNING lungs. Prepare to suffer. Perpare to DIE..here and now. Observe this last moment of your worthless life. When you die, I shall tear you asunder. I shall devour you in fire. Prepare to become a-part of me. You will do wonderously. This time I shall..UTTERLY DEVOUR you.." The Infernus shrieked mentally, his bloodlust rising. "Rain ATTACK HIM..OR I WILL BURN YOU AGAIN." The Yokai threatened heavily as he glanced to Rain.
  111.
  112. The Yokai hissed lowly, as he hissed once more. Fire manifesting across his form. A burst of glimmering embers alighting across his ruinous mass. Blackened flesh becoming covered in a roaring aura of hungering flames. As his mental presence washed over the form of the Lesser nearby. "Lesser ilk. Attend me. A great feast awaits!" The Yokai shouted mentally.
  113.
  114. A torrent of fire rising off his form. As nearby Lesser Yokai emerged, raving and shrieking madly. Baing for flesh and to devour Deo. The Lesser yokai would shriek, and bay unceasingly for his blood. The Yokai glanced to Asgad, inflicting upon him a command to assist the other Lesser Yokai in fighting Deo.
  115.
  116. The Infernus, would not fight fair it semmed. Honor was a load of human idiocy anyway. Why fight fare when the Infernus could utter destroy Deo with numbers. He would fall, and once he did. This time he would be killed. No mercy would be offered. Cruel, and horrid of Griuntherche.
  117.
  118. Oh yes...
  119. (Griuntherche)
  120. Shinra snarled, her tails flairing outwards. Her little entourage of yokai snarled and did the same, preparing themselves for combat. Shinra burst into Occult Flames, and a dark energy slowly gathered up around her... she was ready to battle. A hooked claw reached out.
  121.
  122. She did as she was told, crouching though to eye down Deo... just to grin wide. A telepathic latch shot out to Asgad, conveying a message to him herself. Then she took a deep breath, unsheathed her dagger-like claws, and bared her teeth.
  123.
  124. It was SHOWTIME!
  125. (Shinra)
  126. Rain made haste to attack. The threats didn't really matter to her. She'd felt that fire twice already, a third time is only more pain. She followed out his orders because she was willing to try and kill this man rather than just leave and die from that decision anyway. If both outcomes end in death, going down fighting seemed much more appealing.
  127.
  128. She could tell flame was going to be heavily involved and so opted for just her long range occult magic, hoping the yokai would understand her reasoning. His threat was fire, surely she didn't mean for herself to jump into the crossfire of all of his flame. Her sword was put away to allow herself to focus on the magic at hand.
  129. (Rain)
  130. Asgad stood still, emotionless as always. Only wanting a feast he really couldn't care less on how he got it. His exterior showed a calm and sturdy nature but inside, his very blood was boiling and rage filled his body as he thought about his endless hunger. His mind knew no fear, only hunger and blood lust for his enemies.
  131.
  132. His fists clenched tightly, awaiting further action.
  133.
  134.
  135. (Asgad)
  136. Hearing the conversation coming from the multiple people who have joined to see one of the two become victors. One voice came out at him more than the rest.
  137.
  138. It was a older man, who seemed to have an eye on the blind Sarradian.
  139.
  140. In a response to his statement. Deo replied. " I won't let you down!" he shouted outwards.
  141.
  142. Then here it was. It was time.
  143.
  144. BOOM! BOOM!
  145.
  146. Taking in a deep breath, he brought both hands to his chest the raised it up slowly as his palms of both hands faced the ground.
  147.
  148. Exhale. . . .
  149.
  150. With one motion, Deo brought both arms down hard towards the ground. The earth would then be twisted to his command. Shifting under everyones very feet as Deo was troubling the very plates of this planet! Moving them to his will as the near by area exploded with rocks flying everywhere. He moved it side to side. Planning to take everyone off balance. It was only the start of his plan
  151.
  152. With a straight face, Deo moved his head over where Griuntherche was standing. He didn't want to bother raising his head towards the creature as he had no respect for those who enslave and brutally torture living creatures. Forcing them to do horrid things that they do not want to do. He was going to end it all right here.
  153.
  154. " Alright. . . so this is how you want to play it? Well fine. . . " he spoke in a rather dead tone.
  155.
  156. With his head tilted down towards the ground. His hat covered everything of his face. From the upper to the lower.
  157.
  158. "But this time, I won't give you a chance to run. This is it, after all this time. This is how its going to end. Only one of us is going to survive. Only one of us will leave this place alive today. " he said
  159.
  160. "Alright. let's get to this. " he stated as he jumped forward, planting both feet hard into the ground. One foot infront of the other. Left infront of the right. It caused the earth to tremble underneath him as the ground erupted below him. Forking up rocks which came to a close around Deo like a shield. But a more. Defined and harder one.
  161.
  162. Then he brought both hands to the center of his chest. Expanding it outwards in a quick fanshion. Causing a wind barrier to form around him in quick sucession. Then he thrusted his right hand outwards in a diagonal fashion. Causing a massive slab of earth to come out of the ground.
  163.
  164. Deo then brought that very hand close to his chest causing the massive slab to break down into small pieces, breaking down the entire rock and forcing those pieces to form around him in a circular motion around his wind barrier in a diagonal way.
  165.
  166. Without a moments hesitation, he swung his right hand aroung horizontally. Conjuring up fire that grasped tightly upon the wind barrier in another diagonal position. Then using both arms, Swinging it up aboce his head. He gathered the water from the nearby lake and wrapped that around horizontally around him as he now had power over all four elements. Already a master in all four.
  167.
  168. As he now stood with all four elements surrounding him. Deo moved his head slightly to his right. Moving it towards Shirna as he grinned.
  169.
  170. Their plan was working out well. Only the most keen would see this action.
  171.
  172. Deo then slightly move his head back towards Griuntherche.
  173.
  174. All this time he's been practicing each element for this very moment this moment to defeat the Fire Giant
  175. (Deo Hajara)
  176. Let out a horrendous shriek before shhooting off to the side, instead of mauling Deo, the newly evolved Giga had pounced onto the Elemental! She charged directly THROUGH rain, clawing down the childs back. Non-fatally, but a painful blow nonetheless. Flames would of course lick at her form, burning like an inferno, but she ignored them. She clawed and dug into Gruin, feeling winds and other elements whipping past her to aid her attacks.
  177.
  178. Occultic power was flowing, she was feeling some of the FIRST real BLOODLUST she had ever felt. It was amazing! It wasn't long. They were powerful together... Gruin was weaker than Deo already, but with the other Yokai around, Rain and Asgad, it was unsure what would happen... in the end, She wrapped her nine tails around the Elemental, a drawing power ripping the very life force out of the elemental through her tails. Then her jaw clamped down around the elementalists neck.
  179.
  180. She tore his throat out with a grueling wrench, draining every last bit of stamina away, and in a cruel twist, she encased his body in Occultic flames, burning away his skin and draining away his power. She finished tearing out his throat, and laughed, a deep gutteral sound.
  181.
  182. Then, as agreed by her and Deo, Shinra began to feast. Feast upon the beast who had so brutally maimed her as a lesser, and tried to bend her to complete HIS agenda. And she had outsmarted him.
  183. (Shinra)
  184. A brow was raised as Miciel noticed something. " That kid....ain't half bad. " It seems that the situation wasn't as un-even as he orginally thought it to be. Infact, if anything the elemental was the one that was cornered.
  185.
  186. " Well wasn't this a surprise. " Miciel would state as he slowly got up. Though he was indeed proud after witnessing such a sight. This turn of events was rather lack-luster. Especially because he, personally didn't like how things turned out.
  187.
  188. Honestly, Miciel wanted to see the child struggle to win as they made him taste dirt. It was either that or completely crush all of the people that stood before him, he was really looking for the latter but instead their was a plan involved. A betrayal was at hand this entire time only to be revealed now. I
  189.
  190. t wasn't quite what Miciel was expecting and that's what made this " Lame. " He sighed before stretching a bit, finally getting up. " Alright, I've seen enough. Best of luck to ya blind kid and sucks to be a crappy leader huh, yokai. This is the problem with hunters that pick the wrong prey. They fail. "
  191.
  192. Miciel would just dismiss the whole situation with a wave of the hand. " Anyways I'm leaving. " and he would indeed do just that.
  193. (Miciel Melym)
  194. Obey
  195.
  196. The boy watched as the people fought. It was quite fun to see this battle. He didn't want nothing to do with it. As the plan the creature and the others made he got to sit back and observe. It was quite a show for the boy. Listening to the older man got him on both sides. The creature would not realize he was not going to be a puppet.
  197.
  198. Daran saw this as a way of a bitter ending. He was going to be taught that betrayal was one of the worst things to ever do. The boy would simply not care at all. Whoever lost he would have benefit from. What people didn't understand was that Daran was a asshole. It was just that he was bored and free now.
  199.
  200. He walks over to Miciel and ask him.
  201.
  202. "Mind if i tag along?" The boy really saw no point sticking around the others. He was a free bird. Looking at the others he would give a thumbs up. It was a sign of good job. From here on out they were on their own. The boy then headed off on his own way. The man clearly was not interested in him.
  203. (Daran Lakewater)
  204. The battle was going to start.
  205.
  206. Deo was going to make quick work of the two by Griuntherche's side then go after the fire giant himself. Already knowing that Shinra was going to go after him herself.
  207.
  208. It was almost to easy as Deo sent out waves of an inferno towards the two that sided with the massive beast. Burning them severely and sending them crashing to the ground in pain. But the sarradian wasn't as cruel as the fire giant. Right after the two had hit the ground and started to burn. Deo send a massive wave of mud hurling towards their direction. Crashing down heavily ontop of them. Cooling the flames and putting them out of play. After Shinra was done with them that was.
  209.
  210. Then raising his right hand with his palm facing downward. He quickly raised the two from the depths of the mud and brought them on top so they could breath. There was no reason to kill them. They were fighting out of fear.
  211.
  212. Harding the mud as he turned to face the fire giant. Deo quickly darted over with his feet stomping the ground as he created a massive vortex that warped around him violently.
  213.
  214. He sent wave after wave after wave of elements towards Griuntherche. Battering out his flames as Deo and Shinra quickly made work of him.
  215.
  216. It was only time where the end of the bout was coming. Deo saw this and knew how weak the fire giant was. So he backed off. Watching nearby incase of he somehow grew stronger.
  217.
  218. But that wasn't the case as Shinra got him down to the ground and basically slaughted him. Deo stood back, accepting that this was what had to be. He couldn't allow for that terrible creature to continue destroying the inhabitants of Wychwood.
  219.
  220. Nodding, Deo stood and watched through his unique was as Shinra devoured Griuntherche.
  221.
  222. It was at that point where Deo's elements fell away from him as he willed it. Extinguishing the flames, letting go of the winds, leaving the water to the ground, and dropping the earth.
  223.
  224. "It's done. . . "
  225. (Deo Hajara)
