WHY FROST NOVA OR BALL LIGHTNING OR WHATEVER?

Archmage can be used with most spells so you can try out
which ever spell you like the most, for single target the ice nova of frostbolt seems to be the clear winner but skills like ball lightning are more enjoyable for clearing.

WHY ARE YOU USING SLOWER PROJ OR RETURNING PROJ OR ARCANIST BRAND ON FROSTBOLT? WHAT'S THE DIFFERENCE?

Self cast felt the belt to me for clear (less delay and more control) but for single target bossing the brand is superior. Slower proj is needed for self cast to make it viable for killing map bosses and I need faster casting atm so no returning proj but I will fit it in with more cast speed on gear and replace faster casting with returning projectiles.

WHY ARE YOU USING FROSTBOLT AND BALL LIGHTNING TOGETHER?

I'm not, I just like to swap between ice nova and ball lightning a lot so I leave the frostbolt setup in my boots at all times to save time.

WHAT DO YOU THINK ABOUT THE LEAGUE MECHANIC?

I thought it was kinda whatever but the atlas passives seemed to make it a lot more noticeable, the crafting has a lot of issues though like you get too many "bad" corpses that you kind of just need to ignore because otherwise your morgue gets full too quickly and it's too pricey to itemize them. Would be happy to see it get some buffs/tuning for sure but not sure if it's really like, that bad, you know? Kinda feeling like I got a Mathil take on this one (it's not a big deal, game still fun etc).

Ruthless tbh.

HOW TO DEAL WITH STUNS?

ES Mastery gives 50% of es added to stun threshold and solved all my problems but you can also get immutable force if u really hate it.

HOW TO DEAL WITH AILMENTS (FREEZE/SHOCK/ETC)

Early on you want brine king pantheon and boot chill + movement speed craft, for shock I haven't got a good solution (maybe garukhan pantheon but kinda bad coz ralakesh op). Could use ring craft for shock reduction but my rings are kinda tight on stats so for now I'm planning on running ancestral vision or stormshroud. Absolute bare minimum option here is shock reduction flask which is what I'm using but obviously not ideal.

HOW COME MY RECOVERY SUCKS?

You need instant leech mastery from light eater and some source of spell life leech, I'm using valakos but you can also get eater implicit on gloves.

WHERE POB?

I kinda changed it a bit and I only have my giga endgame mageblood PoB fixed right now so for the time being just gotta wing it lol or use goratha or palsteron guide.
