  1. Note :
  2. This method has the easiest setup (requirements & corruption) you can make in order to obtain any Pokemon, Item, or Move thanks to Pomeg Glitch.
  3. It doesn't involve any other specific things that could fasten other elements in the process, as I wanted to make a simple and clear setup for this Pokemon Corruption.
  4. Here, the corruption part isn't optimal in terms of success chance, but if you want a higher success chance (so less time on corruption attempts), you'll need a Corruption Initiator (and to corrupt with this Corruption Initiator)
  5.
  6. - Sleipnir17's video on this method : https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Y3r9fj5WtK4
  7. - ChickasaurusGL video on this method : https://youtu.be/HhHlANrnOCI?t=13m50s
  8.
  9. Unlike the very first methods for Pokemon Corruption, you won't end up with ugly/fat/messy annoying data along with your desired Pokemon/Move/Item, and the corruptions will always have a chance to work (this isn't true for Corruptions of random Pokemon you've caught in the wild).
  10.
  11.
  12.
  13. ------ 0) Requirements :
  14. - in-game traded Seedot (Rustoboro, Tarsal required)
  15. - in-game traded Plusle (Fortree, Volbeat required)
  16. - Pomeg Berries, Hp Up, Fluffy Tails, Revive, Full Restore, some Balls
  17. - A team to perform Pomeg Glitch
  18. - Macho Brace
  19. - HP Up, Protein, Carbon, Iron
  20.
  21. Clone Seedot and Plusle and deposit clones in safety in PC (outside of Boxes 1 and 2).
  22. Empty boxes 1 and 2.
  23. Check side data in the end of the pastebin to have all the links and interesting values that will help you for the corruptions.
  24.
  25. 1) Obtain the Corruption Initiator
  26. - Take one clone of Plusle and mark it. (Heart mark)
  27. Make it forget every move except Growl.
  28. This will be your corruption initiator.
  29.
  30. - Clone that marked Plusle a couple of times, and put one copy in safety in PC.
  31.
  32. 1) Corruption Choice :
  33. (You can only do one of these corruptions at a time, but they all work the same way)
  34. -- Obtain any Pokémon :
  35. Done with Seedot.
  36. Choose a Pokemon, and write its 3rd Gen identifiant. (if it's an hexadecimal value, convert it to decimal)
  37.
  38. desired Pokemon Identifiant = 256*(Atk EVs) + HP Evs
  39.
  40. Make an euclidian division of desired Identifiant by 256.
  41. Give "Quotient" Atk EVs and "Remainder" HP Evs to Seedot. (Do not make any mistake in the EV amount.)
  42. Seedot's 4th move must be -- (Fr) / Flash (US) / Hidden Power (Spa) / Nature Power (Ita) / Flash (Ger) / Rock Smash (Jap).
  43.
  44.
  45. -- Obtain any Item :
  46. Done with Seedot.
  47. Choose an Item, and write its 3rd Gen identifiant. (if it's an hexadecimal value, convert it to decimal)
  48.
  49. Desired Item Identifiant = 256*(Speed EVs) + Def Evs
  50.
  51. Make an euclidian division of desired Identifiant by 256.
  52. Give "Quotient" Speed EVs and "Remainder" Def Evs to Seedot. (Do not make any mistake in the EV amount.)
  53. If "Quotient" is between 64-127 or 192-255, make 3 Pokeblocks from Chesto Berries with the old man only and give them to Seedot.
  54. You cannot obtain Item 0xFFFF with this method because Seedot would turn into Pokémon n°0, who is an empty slot.
  55. Give an HP Up to Seedot OR give him HP and Atk EVs to get a desired Pokemon along with the item.
  56. Seedot's 4th move must be -- (Fr) / Flash (US) / Hidden Power (Spa) / Nature Power (Ita) / Flash (Ger) / Rock Smash (Jap).
  57.
  58.
  59. -- Obtain any Move :
  60. Done with Plusle.
  61. Choose a Move, and write its 3rd Gen identifiant. (if it's an hexadecimal value, convert it to decimal)
  62.
  63. Desired Move Identifiant = 256*(Atk EVs) + HP Evs
  64.
  65. Make an euclidian division of desired Identifiant by 256.
  66. Give "Quotient" Atk EVs and "Remainder" HP Evs to Plusle. (Do not make any mistake in the EV amount.)
  67. If you're interested, you can change Plusle's 1st Move to change the species of the Pokemon who will know the desired Move.
  68. Plusle's 4th move must be -- (Fr) / Flash (US) / Hidden Power (Spa) / Thunder Wave (Ita)/ Flash (Ger)/ Thunder Wave (Jap).
  69.
  70. - Once you have trained your Seedot/Plusle, clone it 5 times.
  71. Put one clone in safety in PC (in case you made a slight mistake in the EVs).
  72.
  73. - Take the 5 remaining clones as well as 5 marked Plusle clones, and put them in Box 2 with this placement :
  74. Put 1 Pokemon to corrupt in Box 2 slot 24.
  75. Put 1 marked Plusle in Box 2 slot 23.
  76. Put 1 Pokemon to corrupt in Box 2 slot 22.
  77. ...
  78. Continue until you put the 5 Pokemon to corrupt and the 5 marked Plusle.
  79. This will give you rows of Pokemon to corrupt and rows of marked Plusle.
  80. (In order to corrupt a Pokemon to corrupt, you need to put a corruption initiator (marked Plusle here) on the slot before it.)
  81.
  82. - Once the Pokemon are placed, save.
  83.
  84.
  85. ------ 2) First Corruption :
  86.
  87. - Set up your party for Pomeg Glitch :
  88. In that order, have :
  89. 1 KO Pokemon
  90. 1 KO Pokemon with Fly
  91. 1 Pokemon with 1 HP remaning who increased its Max HP with HP Ups.
  92. (Banette is really good for this with Curse + Odd HPs as you easily weaken him down to 1HP)
  93.
  94. - Save.
  95. Every attempt for first corruption will restart from there.
  96.
  97. - Make a wild battle and Flee.
  98. The game will remember that the party slot of last Pokemon seen in Battle was n°3.
  99.
  100. - Get back to PC and deposit the KO Pokemon.
  101. (Not in Boxes 1 or 2)
  102.
  103. - Give a Pomeg Berry to the 1HP Pokemon.
  104. His Max HP will decrease, and due to a coding error, its remaining HP will decrease too, falling at 0 or below.
  105. If the Pokemon has less than 0HP, give him a Potion to increase its HP back to 0.
  106.
  107. - Make a second wild battle.
  108. Since the party is KO, the game sends the Pokemon in 3rd Party Slot, which is an empty slot (Pokemon n°0). Thus, the empty slot (or Decamark) is sent to Battle.
  109.
  110. - Open the Party, open the Fly Pokemon summary, and close it.
  111. This refreshes the Party Pokemon counter. Since there's an empty slot in first slot, the counter concludes that there are 0 party Pokemon.
  112. Don't look at the empty slot Moves or summary, as this would end the battle or freeze the game.
  113.
  114. - Hit Up 15-20 times.
  115. Since the game thinks there are 0 Party Pokemon, the Party Pokemon Selection Pointer is allowed to select 256 Pokemon.
  116. (This pointer is allowed to select party Pokemon up to n°(nb of Party Poke -1), as the Party Pokemon are numbered starting from 0 (1st party Pokemon is n°0). Thus, with 0 Party Pokemon, the pointer can go up to n°"-1" = n°(0xFF) here).
  117. This makes the party Poke selection Pointer go out of it's usual working area. He's then reading chunks of data as "Party Pokemon data". For each selection, an anti-cheating script (called checksum) is applied and as he sees data that give an invalid result, he corrupts them a little, thinking that the "selected Pokemon" is hacked and trying to change it into a Bad Egg.
  118.
  119. Hitting Up 15-20 times is enough to corrupt the Pokemon on Box 2.
  120.
  121. - Hit B and use a Fluffy Tail.
  122.
  123. - Get back to the Pokemon Center, open the PC, and check Box 2.
  124. If the one of the Pokemon to corrupt became an Egg, withdraw it and go make a wild battle.
  125. If they became Bad Eggs or didn't change, the corruption was unsuccessful. Reset and try again.
  126.
  127. If the Egg of the Pokemon to corrupt contains a Seedot/Plusle, the first corruption was successful. You can go to the next phase. (The Pokemon's TID was corrupted.)
  128.
  129. If the Egg of the Pokemon to corrupt doesn't contain a Seedot/Plusle, the corruption was unsuccessful. Reset and try again. (The Pokemon's PID was corrupted.)
  130. If you're doing this Corruption for the Pokédex Entry of a certain Pokemon, don't reset and hatch the Egg.
  131.
  132. This first Corruption has 6-7/32 chances to succeed. (the Pokemon will be changed in an Egg if it's TID is corrupted by the 0x40 Corruption)
  133.
  134.
  135. - If the Corruption was successful, put the Egg apart from Boxes 1 and 2.
  136. If you trained multiple Seedot/Plusle, you will obtain multiple Eggs (one per trained Pokémon, so 1 to 5 Eggs).
  137. Clone each one of these Eggs 5 times and place them outside Box 1/2.
  138. By depositing the Egg into PC (while cloning it), you're refreshing its PPs, and this can prevent the second Corruption from working.
  139. Here, the Eggs coming from Seedot/Plusle can be taken, as his 4th move was specifically chosen to counter that issue, but it won't be true in general.
  140.
  141. - An invisible Bad Egg might be in Box 2.
  142. This is a corrupted empty slot, and can be useful to perform Pomeg Glitch without using any Pomeg Berry with the Decaswitch method.
  143. (https://youtu.be/HhHlANrnOCI?t=12m30s)
  144. Thus, take it and store it in safety.
  145.
  146. - Remove every other Pokemon/Egg/Bad Egg in Box 1/2.
  147. For Eggs/Bad Eggs, you can use the Reverse Cloning Method to make them disappear.
  148.
  149. - Clone the marked Plusle 5 more times per each Egg you've obtained after the first Pomeg Glitch corruption. (5 times if 1 Egg,.., 25 times if 5 Eggs)
  150.
  151. - Take the 5 Egg clones as well as 5 marked Plusle clones, and put them in Box 2 with this placement :
  152. Put 1 Egg of Pokemon to corrupt in Box 2 slot 24.
  153. Put 1 marked Plusle in Box 2 slot 23.
  154. Put 1 Egg of Pokemon to corrupt in Box 2 slot 22.
  155. Put 1 marked Plusle in Box 2 slot 21.
  156. Put 1 Egg of Pokemon to corrupt in Box 2 slot 20.
  157. Put 1 marked Plusle in Box 2 slot 19.
  158. Put 1 Egg of Pokemon to corrupt in Box 2 slot 18.
  159. Put 1 marked Plusle in Box 2 slot 17.
  160. Put 1 Egg of Pokemon to corrupt in Box 2 slot 16.
  161. Put 1 marked Plusle in Box 2 slot 15.
  162.
  163. This will give you rows of Pokemon to corrupt and rows of marked Plusle.
  164. (In order to corrupt a Pokemon to corrupt, you need to put a corruption initiator (marked Plusle here) on the slot before it.)
  165.
  166. Repeat this process with 5 clones of another Egg of Pokémon to corrupt and 5 other clones of Heart marked Plusle. Instead of depositing the first Egg of Pokémon to corrupt in Box 2 Slot 24, deposit it on the PC Slot right behind the last marked Plusle deposited.
  167.
  168. - Save.
  169. You've completed the First Corruption, congrats !
  170. Now, let's get to the Second Corruption.
  171.
  172.
  173. ------- 3) Second Corruption :
  174. - Repeat the same steps as the first Corruption.
  175. The only differences are the Pokemon you're corrupting, and the result you'll be looking for.
  176.
  177. - This forces you to set up your team for Pomeg Glitch again.
  178. And this is why Banette is so useful with Curse + Odd Hp, as putting a Pokemon down to 1Hp can take quite some time.
  179.
  180. - Here, the success chance for this Corruption are 6-7/32 (you need to corrupt the PID here in order to have both PID and TID corrupted).
  181. This second corruption has the same success chance as the first one, and with a dozen of tries you should get a working result.
  182.
  183. - Once you get back to your PC to check Box 2, here's what you're looking for :
  184. If the Egg became the desired Pokemon, this is a success.
  185. If the Egg became a Caterpie/desired Pokemon holding the desired item, this is a success.
  186. If the Egg became a Pokemon/desired Pokemon with the desired Move, this is a success.
  187. (The Pokemon will also know Glitch Move 0x0505 as 4th Move, but it is inoffensive.)
  188. If he became a Bad Egg, the corruption was unsuccessful. Reset and try again.
  189. If the Pokemon didn't change, you can directly try another corruption (as you made all the setup for Pomeg Glitch), or reset.
  190.
  191.
  192. - You can get your desired Move on a Smeargle by making a double battle or a battle against a Ditto. (Desert Underpass, wait for the Ditto to use Transform on the Pokemon with the Move, and send Smeargle to Sketch the Ditto)
  193.
  194. The interest of the second method (Sketch a Ditto) is that you can also do it to Sketch a move from an Egg/Bad Egg.
  195. You need to perform Pomeg Glitch with a Smeargle in your team to fight with your Egg/Bad Egg, use a Revive on Smeargle while Ditto uses Transform, and sent Smeargle to Sketch the Ditto.
  196. But Egg/Bad Eggs will oftenly know other glitch moves, so you'll have to make more attempts in order to Sketch the right move.
  197. Also, Smeargle is quite frail, which is a reason why chosing a certain 1st Move on Plusle isn't that bad of an idea.

  248. - Pokemon for in-game trades (ex : Volbeat for Plusle)
  249. - Pokemon for Day Care breeding (ex : Kangaskhan, Chansey, Tauros,..)
  250. - Glitch Pokemon between Celebi and Treecko
  251. - A Glitch Pokemon to perform fast cloning and fast decloning
  252. (Emer Fr : 0x2890, Emer Us : 0x288A, Emer Spa : 0x2890, Emer Ita : 0x2718, Emer Ger : 0x2891, Emer Jap : 0x2660, FrLg FR : 0x320B, FrLg US : 0x3200, FrLg Spa : 0x3210, FrLg Ita : 0x320A, FrLg Ger : 0x320F, FrLg Jap : 0x4F90 )
  253. - Glitch Pokemon that induce nice graphical glitches in PC
  254. (Emer Fr : 0x2880, 0xCBBF, 0xCB9B, 0xCC07, 0x2608, 0x25D2 / Emer Us : 0xCCD7, 0xCC9D )
  255. - Glitch Pokemon who affect the music
  256. (Emer Fr: 0xCB86 / Emer Us : 0xA0D)
  257. - A Glitch Pokemon with high-class graphical glitches (Emer Fr: 0xCBB3)
  258. - A Glitch Pokemon to make Instant Pomeg Glitch. (has nice multiple uses)
  259. Emer Fr: 0x29C8, Emer US : 0x29C0, Emer Spa : 0x948C, Emer Jap : 0x4360, Emer Ita : 0x9481, Emer Ger : 0x29C9
  260. - Glitch Pokemon to change the trainer sprite (there is a plethorra of identifiants, but check ChickasaurusGl video on the topic and change a bit the identifiants to get nice ones).
  261.
  262. Note :
  263. Glitch Pokemon can't be transferred to 4th Gen.
  264. There are also Glitch Pokemon that look really nice in RS and FrLg, but I have no Identifiants for them now.
  265. You can check other Pomeg Glitch videos where Glitch Pokemon are used, and note their identifiants to do the same thing yourself. (I have a playlist of Pomeg Glitch videos, and Chickasaurus too)
  266.
  267.
  268. -- Interesting items to obtain :
  269. - Master Ball, Rare Candy, PP Max, PP Up, missing Tms and Berries
  270. - Event Berries
  271. - Fossils (to revive them multiple times)(On FrLg, fossils can only be revived once !)
  272. - Mach/Acro Bike (to have both of them in your Bag)
  273. - Old Map, Mystik Ticket, Aurora Ticket (they can't unlock the island, but they're nice)
  274. - Eon Ticket (I wouldn't recommend it since it interferes with the Southern Island unlock with Pomeg Glitch)
  275. - FrLg Rare Items
  276. - Glitch Items (useful for Advanced Double Corruption)(will be developped later) (they don't do anything either way)
  277.
  278.
  279. Note :
  280. Glitch Items can't be transferred to 4th Gen.
  281. Since you have a Pokemon holding the desired item, you can trade it to RS/FrLg and take it on that file, allowing you to transfer rare items and HMs to cut the story in half.
  282.
  283.
  284.
  285. -- Interesting Moves to obtain :
  286. - Sketch
  287. - A Glitch Sketch Move : (Same effect as Sketch, but needs way less EVs to be obtained)
  288. Glitch Sketch Move :
  289. Emer US : 0x0708 | Emer Fr : 0x0708 | Emer Spa : 0x0708 | Emer Ita : 0x0708 | Emer Ger : 0x0708 | Emer Jpn : 0x0732 |
  290. Fr Fr : 0x0633 | Fr US : 0x0633 | Fr Ita : 0x0633 | Fr Spa : 0x0633 | Fr Ger : 0x0633 | Fr Jpn : 0x0633 |

  292. Glitch Sketch Move 0x0708 has a Water Type, so it can be seen in the Pokémon's summary, and a priority of 5. (Rock Type and Priority of 0 for 0x0732 on Jpn Emer, and Fire Type and Priority of 0 for 0x0633 on Fr/Lg)
  293. Once you use the move, hit B to end the battle. (The move's name corrupts the battle type, so fleeing is better.)
  294. - 4th/5th Gen moves (they'll become the desired move once the Pokemon will be transferred)
  295. - Moves the Pokemon can't normally learn (there's a limited choice of Pokemon for this method, but it's still funny)
  296. - An Instant Flee Glitch Move
  297. Emer Fr : 0x0425 | Emer Us : 0x0411 | Emer Spa : 0x13D6 | Emer Ita : 0x079B | Emer Ger : 0x0437, 3rd/4th slot |
  298. - A move to change a battle into a Wild Battle with Bag Use (allows Pokemon stealing for Dex entries + use of Bag in Battle Frontier, allows to shinyhunt in Battle Pike)

  300. - An overpowered Glitch Move
  301. (Emer Fr: 0x92A8, 0x42CA, 0x904D, 0x35FE/ Emer Us: 0x30B9, 0x2B2B, 0x4982) (they all have high Power, more than 100 accuracy, priority, and a lot of PPs)
  302. - An OHKO Glitch Move
  303. (Emer Fr : 0x332C | Emer US : 0x4066 | Emer Jap : 0x4C8A | Emer Spa : 0x332F | Emer Ger : 0x332B | Emer Ita : 0x313D | RS Fr : 0x092F | RS US : 0x092F | RS Spa : 0x092F | RS Ita : 0x092F | RS Ger : 0x092F | Ruby Jap : 0x6D3E | Sapp Jap : 0x6D3E | Fr Fr : 0x63B7 | Fr US : | Fr Jap : 0x7002 | Fr Ita : 0x63B7 | Fr Ger : 0x121C | Fr Spa : | Lg Fr : 0x661F | Lg US : | Lg Jap : 0x2D0C | Lg Ita : | Lg Spa : | Lg Ger : |
  304. - An always freezing Glitch Move (Emer Fr: 0x3D3C / Emer Us: 0x2B1D)
  305. - An always sleeping Glitch Move
  306. (Emer Fr : 0x346A, Emer US : 0x282F, Emer Jap : 0x5465, Emer Spa : 0x288A, Ruby Fr : 0x2610, Ruby US : 0x263F, Ruby Jap : 0x2A0A, Sapp Fr : 0x2610, Sapp US : 0x263F, Sapp Jap : 0x2A0A)
  307. - An always protecting Glitch Move (it never fails to protect you) (Emer Fr : / Emer Us : 0x2F50)
  308. (these are very useful in Battle Frontier facilities)
  309. - Glitch Moves for Advanced Double Corruption (will be developped later)
