  1. For as long as PSR has existed, we've used in-game time (IGT) as much as possible for glitchless runs. It does have its merits; it's very convenient, it removes doubts of inaccurate timing (in a universal means, not necessarily "IGT is accurate"), and it's been what we've used for a very long time. Discussions for/against changing from IGT to real-time attack (RTA) have cropped up now and again, with the responses usually being pretty equal and concerns being raised on how to clean up a leaderboard if it were to ever come to fruition. However, judging from my personal conversations with several runners in the past three GDQ events, as well as multiple conversations with other streamers both PSR and otherwise, it seems clear to me that the past is just that: the past. Interest in making the switch to RTA has picked up tremendously, though actual discussion has not really taken place. That's what this channel is for.

  3. There is a Google form to cast a vote on what you think is the most appropriate step moving forward (https://docs.google.com/forms/d/e/1FAIpQLSerrrO4MWpvWb5qlFhvQrSNMj4lvI0BsqqirDqIXhJDdCPaTA/viewform). There are many people with many opinions on this, so let's gather them all up and figure out what's best for the community. Feel free to submit your responses and discuss your opinions. And please, take this seriously. Shit in other channels if you must; I hear #memebigdotnet is pretty hot.

  5. On a separate note, I'm proposing the removal of Red/Blue NMG from the leaderboards (instead moving it to the forums) and proposing the addition of Red/Blue RBA to the leaderboards. Chime in for that too if you'd like.
