[01:16] <[Mys]Red> [Garage bands may not have much going for them, but with a few breaks and some talent,  maybe even this small crew can see their dreams of hitting it big. Down in a no name town in a garage owned by the bands drummer, a small pack of musically inclined girls spend there afternoon trying to catch a break.]
[01:21] * [Mys]Red is adjusting her drum heads tension and polishing every cymbal to a mirror shine. She seems obsessed with the task.
[01:23] * Jerl|Tomoe delicately turns the tuning knobs on her guitar half-degrees at a time to reach the correct tone on her strings
[01:26] <Jerl|Tomoe> Geez, how are we supposed to make any money like this?
[01:26] <Jerl|Tomoe> We don't even have a bassist.
[01:27] * Jerl|Tomoe meticulously places her tuner back in the exact spot it goes in her gig bag, and then unties the perfectly-tied guitar cables that she subsequently pulled out.
[01:28] <[Mys]Red> Bassist? You think we'd need a NAME at least. I still vote for Blood Monkeys by the way.
[01:28] <Jerl|Tomoe> No.
[01:28] <Jerl|Tomoe> Obsessive Compulsive Disorder.
[01:28] <Jerl|Tomoe> I will accept no other name.
[01:29] * [Mys]Red spins once in her chair before stopping shaking her head and dropping a beat.
[01:29] <[Mys]Red> How 'bout NO!
[01:29] * [Mys]Red shouts over the din of her drumming.
[01:30] * Jerl|Tomoe suddenly, out of nowhere, whips out a bokken and smacks Red over the head with it.
[01:33] * [Mys]Red doesn't miss a beat... What is she made of?
[01:33] <[Mys]Red> Hey! you could hurt somebody like that! Not to mention you probably knocked it out of tune!
[01:33] <Jerl|Tomoe> "Hurt", you say.
[01:34] <Jerl|Tomoe> I could hit you with a dumptruck and you wouldn't even fall over.
[01:34] <Jerl|Tomoe> And I can always tune my guitar.
[01:34] * [Mys]Red laughs
[01:36] <[Mys]Red> Maybe being hit with a dump truck just isn't as much sheer force as a good mosh.
[01:36] <Jerl|Tomoe> Well, that being said.
[01:36] * Jerl|Tomoe suddenly glomps Red
[01:36] * [Mys]Red blushes furiously and stops playing
[01:38] <Jerl|Tomoe> You still won't accept my name?
[01:39] <[Mys]Red> NO means NO! I am not budging on this one this time. And don't even bother with the puppy eyes.
[01:39] * [Mys]Red seems pretty set on this one.
[01:39] <Jerl|Tomoe> Hmm
[01:40] * Jerl|Tomoe grabs Red's headdress
[01:40] <[Mys]Red> We'll just have to find another name...
[01:44] * [Mys]Red notices that Tomoe has taken her hat...
[01:44] <Jerl|Tomoe> Now that I've got your hat, LET'S TRY THIS AGAIN
[01:44] * Jerl|Tomoe glomp
[01:45] <[Mys]Red> ummm.... What are you up to? It's actually really annoying...
[01:45] <Jerl|Tomoe> I want my name!

[01:55] * [Mys]Red ignores this outburst and goes and grabs another hat while Tomoe goes through another one of her... spats.
[01:55] * Jerl|Tomoe snaps drumsticks
[01:56] * Jerl|Tomoe makes sure to clean up any fallen splinters and throw them away in a proper garbage can
[01:56] * Jerl|Tomoe sets a tack on Red's stool
[01:57] * Jerl|Tomoe detaches one of Red's symbals and hides it
[02:00] * [Rut]Sibyl approaches the garage from outside. A heavy *CLUNK* resounds from the lower door.
[02:00] <Jerl|Tomoe> Wah!
[02:01] <Jerl|Tomoe> Who's there?  Are you there to donate some money to the Tomoe fund?
[02:01] * [Mys]Red opens the garage.
[02:02] <[Mys]Red> Yo Sibyl
[02:02] * [Rut]Sibyl is laying flat on the ground. She rubs her head.
[02:02] <Jerl|Tomoe> You know her, Red?
[02:02] <[Rut]Sibyl> Ow, ouch...
[02:02] <Jerl|Tomoe> Is she here to give me some money?
[02:03] <Jerl|Tomoe> Is...Is she okay?
[02:03] <[Mys]Red> Well, we used to be... ah anyway, she'll be our lead guitar.
[02:03] <[Rut]Sibyl> Ah, whoops. I forgot that you don't do that thing where you leave the garage door open just a little at the bottom so wind a little animals and stuff can get in but now that I think of it that sounds really annoying so never mind.
[02:03] <Jerl|Tomoe> Oh, I see.
[02:04] <Jerl|Tomoe> Hey, hey, if you need help getting up, I don't charge too much~
[02:04] * [Rut]Sibyl yawns.
[02:04] <[Rut]Sibyl> Na~h, I'm good.
[02:05] <Jerl|Tomoe> Oh?  Then I'll write you up the fine for not accepting my help.  The price is pretty steep you know.
[02:05] * Jerl|Tomoe pulls out pen and paper.
[02:05] * [Rut]Sibyl lays her bag down beside her and rolls onto her back, staring at the sun over the edge of her shades.

[02:06] * Jerl|Tomoe carefully pulls her tuner out of her gig bag and begins retuning her guitar into perfect tune
[02:08] <Jerl|Tomoe> I need to stop hitting people with this.
[02:09] * [Mys]Red cleans up everything Tomoe had put out place while talking. She even pulls out a new pair of sticks.
[02:09] * Jerl|Tomoe dutifully retunes Red's drums
[02:09] * Jerl|Tomoe keeps the cymbal hidden though.
[02:10] <[Mys]Red> So hows it going Sibyl? We've just been discussing what we should name the band.
[02:10] <Jerl|Tomoe> Obsessive. Compulsive.  Disorder.
[02:11] <[Mys]Red> (No) So what do you think? Blood Monkeys is a cool name right?
[02:11] <Jerl|Tomoe> No!
[02:11] <[Rut]Sibyl> Oh? Cool. But Dad made Mom start taking her meds again so now she doesn't lock the door six times before leaving anymore.
[02:12] <[Rut]Sibyl> Uhm, wait... what were we talking about? Haha...
[02:12] <Jerl|Tomoe> We were talking about how we're naming the band Obsessive Compulsive Disorder.
[02:12] <Jerl|Tomoe> And about how you owe me $20 from that one night at the bar.

[02:20] * Jerl|Tomoe holds back from swinging, but still shouts BOO!
[02:20] * [Rut]Sibyl walks around with her hands out in front of her like a zombie.

[02:21] * [Rut]Sibyl 's exclamation sounds more like a statement, somehow. She sits down in a chair.

[02:34] * Jerl|Tomoe washes the blood from the tack and meticulously puts it in its exact correct position in her mischief tools collection.

[02:35] * Jerl|Tomoe ponders the potential money-making implications of this
[02:35] <[Rut]Sibyl> Wha... bloody stool? Colonel Mustard, in the bar, with the stool?
[02:36] * [Mys]Red ignores  the slight blood noting that she'll have to clean this skirt slightly harder then she usually wood.
[02:36] <Jerl|Tomoe> Yes, Sibyl.
[02:36] <Jerl|Tomoe> It was very gruesome.
[02:37] <[Mys]Red> ...
[02:37] * [Rut]Sibyl takes her sunglasses off.
[02:37] * Jerl|Tomoe screams YEAAAAAAAAAAAAAH

[02:38] * Jerl|Tomoe begins playing the chords
[02:39] * [Mys]Red joins with some solid beats.
[02:41] * [Rut]Sibyl doesn't have a keyboard, so she just replicates the segment with her guitar. With more notes than it probably should have.
[02:44] * Jerl|Tomoe finishes the song energetically
[02:44] <Jerl|Tomoe> That was pretty good!
[02:45] * [Mys]Red feels she made way more mistakes then usual.
[02:45] <Jerl|Tomoe> I did good, right?
[02:45] <Jerl|Tomoe> Right?
[02:45] <[Mys]Red_> I hope you are joking...
[02:45] <Jerl|Tomoe> ....Right?
[02:46] * [Mys]Red sighs and runs her hand through her hair.

[02:47] <[Mys]Red> Maybe we should try another song. I think we'd be laughed off stage with a performance that bad... I'm just glad Sibyl can still do her part...
