Where's Tae?

Alexithymiaa: -Adam stood in Hayley and Tae's room, his hands brought up onto his head as he spun around to look around the room, not entirely sure what he was looking for. He blew out a deep breath, his attention darting over to look at Eli. "You would know her stuff better than I would. Does anything seem overly suspicious?"-
Covet: Eli was looking around with his hands on his hips, "No, aside from her phone being here." He said sitting on the bed as he picked up her phone, glancing at it. He hit the power button and saw the lock screen. He tapped it and the password option came up. "Of course.. hmm...This could take a moment."
Alexithymiaa: -Adam pursed his lips and paced a little, trying to think of possible password combinations. "Her birthday?"-
Covet: "Yeah, maybe" Eli said then put the numbers in only to get it denied. Pursing his lips he thought about it again then tapped a set of different numbers in he thought it might be, getting denied again. "Huh.... Let me.... see...." He pulled out his own phone and sent his Dad a message.
Alexithymiaa: -Adam chewed on the inside of his cheek, his hands sliding down into the pockets of his jeans. "How many tries do you get before it times you out?"-
Covet: "I think five." Eli told him then got the answer back from his Dad, He put in the new set of numbers and the phone let him in. "Success. Thank you Dad." Eli looked down at his phone again seeing another message from his Dad, rolling his eyes as he typed back the lie, knowing that was probably going to bite him in the ass at some point but he really didn't care right now.
Alexithymiaa: "What was it?" Adam asked anxiously when Eli said he was in, stepping over to him to take a seat down so they could both look at the phone. He's very concerned.-
Covet: "The day her adoption was official." Eli told him, feeling his own phone go off again before he could get Tae's messages opened up, " Dad, please... " He grumbled then shook his head as he typed a quick response this time. Once he was done, he put his phone into his pocket, then went back to Tae's phone, pulling up her messages. Seeing Trace's name, Drew's name and some other people in her most recent messages.
Alexithymiaa: "Oh." He paused a moment to think about his own and how he didnt actually know the day since he was essentially a newborn when Erin and Georgia had adopted him. It never mattered much anyway. He leaned over to look down at Tae's phone, seeing the names and messages. "Trace. That's the one from the confession."-
Covet: "It's always been an important day to her, more so than her birthday." Eli said with a smile then felt his phone go off again. He pulled it out and read the message. "He must be seriously bored right now... Don't... You... have.. papers... to grade... or... something." He said as he typed out again sending it along. Eli then clicked on the messages between Tae and Trace . There wasn't anything super recent though, just the messages about him coming to get her to go back to his hotel. The messages from Drew were from Valentine's Day when they'd gone out for dinner.
Alexithymiaa: "Professor Cohen?" He asked for clarification from Eli before looking back down at Tae's phone to read the messages. "I didnt even realize she was seeing Drew regularly. I havent seen him since the trial, but in all fairness I did give her a bit of flack for being so disrespectful of sharing a room with Hayley and having him here when we got back."-
Covet: "Yeah. He's...DAD!" He started off then grumbled again as he looked at his phone. "How many times do I have to tell you, it's not about... " He handed Adam Tae's phone. "Here hold that..." Hearing Adam he looked over at him, "Yeah I thought she'd said she didn't have anything to do with him, but he was here one night with her? And then he took her out to dinner... So was she seeing both of them at the same time?
Covet: *"
Alexithymiaa: -Adam took Tae's phone from him and looked down at the screen, beginning to scroll through the messages. "It kind of seems like she was. Maybe she..." He trailed off as he lifted his gaze to Eli and his phone, raising his brows. "Is everything okay?"-
Covet: "No Dad.. You don't need to come to my place. I'm not even at my place." He said then looked at Adam, "Yeah, it's fine. I can't get him to stop talking now, and now he wants to help write a paper I'm not actually writing. Which is only minorly annoying considering I'm trying to figure out what kind of person my sister's trying to be. I don't get what she was getting out of seeing them both, and neither of them are exactly... great guys."
Alexithymiaa: "Well..." He thought a moment, looking back down at the messages. "It kind of seems like they're both showering her with affection which can have it's appeal, I guess. Especially given the power trip she's been on with making it on her own without your parents."-
Covet: "I guess, yeah. I don't want to say she's an idiot, but.. she's kind of an idiot. The dents concern me, because how do they figure into it? She's never ....had any bruises or anything on her?" Eli asked him.
Alexithymiaa: "Not that I really noticed, but in all honestly I don't exactly stare at her. Plus the weather has been so cold, she's worn mostly long sleeves and whatnot that would cover anything. You don't think..." He furrowed his brows, watching Eli's face. "Drew? Or this Trace guy?"-
Covet: "I mean... one hole in the wall, is questionable.. but two... that's suspicious, and it's not like they were someone's fist , Well, I don't know about the first one, but the one that I saw downstairs, that's something with a bigger impact. I know what Drew's capable of, but Trace? I don't know what kind of person he is, or what he could do to her. Either way, none of it sits well with me.
Alexithymiaa: -He pursed his lips as he thought, trying to come up with some sort of plan. "Should we text one of them pretend to be her? We might be able to get some information that way."-
Covet: "Yeah, that could work. We could start with Trace." Eli said still in the process of conversating with his dad. "Text him... just saying Hi, how's it going..." Eli said to Adam.
Alexithymiaa: "Uh... okay." He said as he opened the message thread with Trace, sliding his fingers over the screen to type. "What if she's with him and he knows it's not her?"-
Covet: "I think that could be said for either one we texted, But either way, we have to start somewhere. Send the same thing to both, we can judge off of their response if she might be with them." Eli said finally tucking his phone away, having gotten his Dad off of his back hopefully, for now.
Alexithymiaa: (UNTIL NEXT TIME, NEIL.)
Alexithymiaa: -He opened his mouth to speak when the phone vibrated in his hands with a response from Trace. "He said, good and you? Are you doing okay after the other night?"-
Covet: "So apparently he was around the other night.... Uh... answer with yeah, it was no big deal? I don't know what to say without it seeming like it's not her....Clearly he's not with her though." Eli said.
Alexithymiaa: "Yeah. So..." He thought a moment, his fingers sliding over the phone as he texted and recited as he did. "Yeah, I'm fine. NBD right?" He hit send and paused, turning to look at Eli. "With any luck this will sort of coax some information about the other night out of him."-
Covet: "Yeah, that'd be nice at the very least." Eli said with a nod. " I swear to moses if anything bad has happened to her, I'll never forgive myself for not checking in more" He said leaning over on his knees, putting his fingers to his lips while they waited.
Alexithymiaa: -He reached out to put his hand on Eli's back to give him a bro pat. "I'm sure she's okay." He looked down at the phone again. "No big deal? It looked like kind of a big deal to me. That guy needs a xanax." He paused, looking at Eli again. "Drew, you think?"-
Covet: "He needs more than a xanax if that's who he's talking about." Eli said looking over at Adam. "What do we say to that? ... I know, it's okay though? Keep it simple? "
Alexithymiaa: "Yeah." He said as he replied back, letting out a sigh. "It kind of seems like she's with Drew then. Or at least something happened with Drew. I think you need to talk to Bliss and maybe we can talk to him about her." He pushed up to his feet, handing the phone back to Eli. "Definitely see what Bliss says though."-
Covet: Eli spoke, with a sigh. "I'll talk to her about it. I hope she doesn't feeli like any of this is on her, just because it's her cousin." He took the phone and put it in his pocket as well. "Thanks for letting me come over and check everything out. It's pretty late, I'll keep you up to date with what she says, and if there's any developments. Keep me posted if Tae happens to show up back here?" Eli asked.
Alexithymiaa: "Of course. We'll find her, Eli." He spoke with a grim smile because he still didnt feel good about this, but at least they'd made some discoveries tonight. "Text me tomorrow and let me know what Bliss says about it."-
Covet: "Yeah. Have a good night." Eli said giving Adam a wave as he made his way out to his vehicle to head home and talk to Bliss about the things so they could hopefully put together a bigger plan.
