Mini Guild: S.S. Excelsior

The Guild's M.O. is primarily exploration, mapping out the uncharted regions of Yggdrasil and discovering new dungeons. The guild’s secondary function is to serve as a casual social gathering hub for Vex and her small close knit group of friends.

Base Description: Excelsior is a frigate sized Sky(Sword)ship commanded by Captain Vex and her motley crew of animated sword constructs, players and npcs. The exterior of the ship is a simple and sleek aerodynamic design shaped like a double edged sword blade fully enclosed in silvery metal with gold trimming. The bow of the ship features a large hexagonal aperture leading into the open hangar bays, behind the hangar bays lays the rest of the ship’s interior which is chambered behind a set of large double sliding vault doors. All along the broadsides of the ship are hatches where animated flying sword constructs are launched from and return.

The inter-dimensional interior of the skyship is organized much like a conventional ship interior with compartmentalized sections of steel hulls accessed through ship doors. The rooms include various storage spaces and vaults, crew quarters, dining and cooking quarters, a mini bar, workshop, library, Captain’s private study, foundry and engine compartments. The last compartment situated roughly at the ship’s stern and can only be accessed by going through every other ship compartment at least once, is the bridge where all the remote viewing mirrors and the guild weapon is kept, its blade plunged into an alabaster stone pedestal. The guild weapon is alive and self aware, acting as the main conduit to pilot and command the rest of the skyship.
