The Abridged History of Sherman:

"Sherman" was born Jonathan Edwards twenty-six years ago in Edmonton, Athabaskan Council. From a young age he was infatuated with history and yearned for personal independence. He studied every book he could get of the former, and achieved the latter at the age of 15 when he left home and moved to a smaller city near the triple border of Salish-Sidhe Council, Athabaskan Council, and Algonkian-Manitou Council. He took on a job at one of the local Stuffer Shacks, and read more history books during his shifts. During this period, two major things happened. The first was the manifestation of his magical ability, at the age of 16. The other was his growing fascination and initiation into more "revolutionary" ideals through social media. One of the
Matrix sites that Jonathan liked to frequent was [future tumblr], which was more or less very factional between different self-concepts, ideals, revolutions, and similar. He grew enraptured with these ideals, and started his own subgroup based on both revolutionary ideals and the one thing he'd studied above all else. North American history. Through a combination of both idealization of the ideals of American, his in-depth knowledge of both the United States and other revolutions throughout history (especially the Russian Civil War and the rise of the Bolsheviks. Despite differing with them on idealistic grounds, Sherman admires their drive and tactics for ensuring their revolution's success), and wanting to be accepted by the wider "revolutionary" community, Sherman began his journey. This transformation heavily influenced the methods to his magical ability, pushing them to be more similar to Zoroastrian magic tradition than standard Hermetic tradition.

Now age 25, Jonathan had already started calling himself Sherman, after the American general during the Civil War, writing his "manifesto", and staging street speeches, which one of his buddies from [future tumblr] would take from security feeds and post online. Seeking a change, he took his buddy's advice and moved to Atlanta, which according to him was "totally ripe for revolution man!"

Jimmy is the nickname of James Eriksson, a self proclaimed "Transmetahuman" (elf) and member of the matrix community [future tumblr]. A talented hacker, he and Sherman became fast friends over the Matrix. Jimmy was also the one who suggested that Sherman move to Atlanta to begin with.

Megan is the proprietor of the magical curio shop, "Twisted Sister". Sherman has come into contact with her a fair amount since moving to Atlanta. While she has a rather...prickly personality, she and Sherman have been getting along quite well since their first meeting. Has ties to a lot of the mages in Atlanta.

Little Girl is Sherman's neighbor, and a good friend as well. Sherman fell into her favor by offering to teach LG's sister magic, after an unfortunate incident where the young girl's nascent power made the wall between their apartments invisible while Sherman was in the shower. Sherman's helped the pair out on a few other occasions as well, leading to Little Girl's loyalty and friendship.
