- Kirishima, Oga furrowed his brow as he concentrated on watching the exchange between the three as he rested his hand on his practice rapier. A last he wasn't completely talking out of term when he told the others that he'd be focusing on learning how to fight in battle. While he wasn't doing too much he still wanted to properly focus on his training with his main weapon of choice he was going to attempt to learn the ins and outs of it through various repetitions and observation of others doing the same.
- Thankfully he was able to scrounge up enough sovereigns to gain a practice one, which he had already damaged because he was so used to using a broadsword that his muscle memory hasn't fully kicked into the fact he was using a much lighter sword made for thrusting attacks than full swings.
- Oga didn't use a rapier, but he did study the technique, or at least practice with it before when he was young, at least, he remembers having some issues a bit especially when he was doing it with a broadsword, and yes he still had that issue even when using the practice rapier in his hand. He scratched his head a bit trying to think of a good way to actually practice this for a few times once he did learn how to use a rapier recently.
- Keeping a steady stance he shifted his position with the katana in hand lifting the blade up forward a bit as he started to thrust a few bit times, it wasn't in a rapid session since he was still trying to accommodate the weight of the katana.
- Thankfully he was used to the weight so he held the weapon a bit more properly before he started to make a few more rapid-paced attacks, before eventually lowering his weapon To take a few breaths. He wanted to steel his mind a bit more as he started to clear out any of the distractions around him. The sounds started to grow more muted as he started to allow himself to grow more with his sword in hand.
- He stood facing forward while defining the four quadrants easily: north, south, east, and west. He thought about the four sub-quadrants, called octants: Northwest, northeast-southwest, and southeast. He went back to the basics as he wanted to fully immerse himself back into the blade given the loss of his left eye left him permanently without one among other things.
- As the sounds were muted all he could focus on was himself and the bond he was reforging with his blade. He couldn't quite tell it exactly or rather he couldn't find the way to properly word it, but he wanted to grow stronger with his path of the swordsmen, he wanted to sever those that stood in his way, shatter weapons, while these dark feelings manifested, he still wanted to truly learn the way to 'cut'. He didn't want to ignore this bond held with his blade as he simply wanted to follow the voice he heard and see where it would take him.
- But it seemed like it was something much 'more' he wanted from his blade as he felt it pulsing through his hand.
- "I see."
- Oga took a small breather as he listened to the sound echoing throughout the halls as he shifted himself into a proper position as he stated ahead at well himself for a bit gathering his thoughts as he aimed the broadsword towards the female while he still kept his wits about him as he entered into the standard knightly stance. Within is mind he was mostly about to perform some standard image training.
- "Alright, lets go."
- Alva furrowed his brow as he took notice of the incoming attack coming towards him. Now he could see the attack coming, probably, but he wasn't so entirely sure if he could actually defend properly against to dodge,so instead he opted to attempt the skill he was previously taught, it did seem like a good idea to at least train it as he took his stance in his attempt to parry the attack.
- <"I think it's done..like this!">
- Alva cursed under his breath as his parry was deflected before receiving a rather sizable bruise on his abdomen. He took a breather as he stepped in attempting to counter with another strike of his own. It wasn't really a rapier-like move, but it was something he was able to get fairly decent at given the short time he had using the move.
- He gripped his broadsword tight in his hand as he started to string together three varying attacks each of them were broad strokes, so not really good for the thin blade of the broadsword, but he managed to do it, although it would damage the practice sword quite a fair bit as he first swung in a diagonal arc towards image-Oga left, before he turned the blade attempting to add a bit more power into his attack by swinging his blade downwards before finally ending with the third attack towards image-Oga's upper body just like with he first.
- As his mind's fortitude started to strain he felt...something starting to take hold of him as darker energies started to manifest within his psyche. As he shifted himself forward a bit as he recalled experiencing a similar thing when he was in the sloops near their own version of a cursed blade. It was like something..ominous was calling out towards him. He started to move himself towards the voice as he soon snapped out of the trance as he was back in the physical plane.
- "Huh?"
- Oga found himself reeling back a bit from the image training as he still was grasping onto the Sword of Chaos, Soul Edge. Was it actually telling him something he didn't know? To be fair he didn't know, all he did know was that he did care for the sword whenever he wasn't using it so maybe he was actually forging some sort of bond with it that was more than just skin deep? Honestly he hoped so given he always was told about being 'one with the sword' whenever he started his adventures as a would-be hunter, he didn't know how one would obtain such a feat, but he did move with the sword being apart of his arm to the point he was able to rend through space briefly. It was rather exciting.
- He moved his hand over to touch his heart, this time it was a odd feeling. It wasn't the same evil he felt, it was more of a gentle wave. A breeze so to speak, something he also did not want to reject like he did with the initial feeling of grasping the evil blade. He felt the tug of the duality as another blade started to tug at him, the Sword of Hope, Durendal.
- The pull of both was starting to weight on his mind, good and evil, the tug of war that greatly affected his mind. The temptation of the Soul Edge, the Eye of Chaos, the ability to simply rend asunder with a single strike. All he could do for Proxima Cartel, to put it simply it was an alluring feeling, but that's when Durendal, The Sword of Hope started to fill his mind with the vigor and strength to push forth Promixa's ideals. But ultimately, through sheer will at this point, Oga released the blades, the mere pull of both blades weighted down on his heart and ideals strongly, but none pierced through. He'd seem how both could become warped and corrupt, and even felt the pull of what one would do to Proxmia, his main reason for seeking power. But within his mind he had to make a choice, standing tall he pressed forward, not towards the corrupted or holy edged paths, but the neutral edge.
- He couldn't quite explain it, but threading the line and keeping balance towards both seemed to be the way. Far beyond the path he could see it, a sword stabbed into a marble stone, illuminated by the sun rays breaking through the tree tops. With every approach he could feel the pull resonating with him.
- Ba-Bump.
- He stepped forward, the wet grass rustling under neath as he approached, the sounds of nature, the birds, the critters in the trees and grass parting as he grew closer. The palpitation of his heart as he finally reached the marble stone, just as he extended his hand towards the blade...
