  1. /me Along the path up the steep mountains of the Sorre region, was a giant ice structure; from the distance it simply looked like a giant iceberg that had somehow made it's way up to the summit of the mountain; but it reality, it was the home of Rook the Empoleon. The project was a rather large one, taking almost an entire decade for the singular Pokémon to design and build; but if you had asked him, he would most definitely say it was worth it. Born into a wealthy family of elitists in the Sorre region, Rook was spoiled from the beginning; his parents lived in the high up city of Jäveronin, and had him right before the deadly "Mother of all Plagues" struck the entire region. His mother died a year after his birth, so his father raised him alone; but it was no tough task, as his father exploited people into saying he had the cure to the plague, when it reality it was Potassium Chloride, the substance used in lethal injections. He paid off government officials and police officers from getting him arrested, so he got off scott-free. Eventually, however, karma caught up to him, and Rook's father was gunned down in an alleyway in Rodinius, the region's capitol. While being devastated by the lose of his father, he was soon shunned by society, and exiled to the mountains of Sorre. Fortunately, he was skilled enough to craft his own life up there. He planned for a decade to make his own ice mansion; and that he did. Coming up to the place, there was a wide gap between the beginning of an ice bridge, the mansion itself. Once you walked in, there would be a mock fountain, mock furniture, and a mock chandelure, with an ice spiral stair case in the middle. Towards the right was a mock kitchen, and to the left was a mock living room; it was kind of sad. Each of the rooms had mock versions of real life electronics and obviously didn't work; clearly all that time in the mountains did some mental work to him. Up the stair case, were guest bedrooms, for some odd reason, along with his own master bedroom, of course, made of ice. As for how he ate, he mostly ate the other Pokemon up in the mountains; Snorunts, specifically. If he couldn't find anything, he would walk all the way down the mountain and to the lake to catch fish. Anyone looking from the outside would some we a sad and miserable life. And they would be right.
