  1. Hello Max,
  2.
  3. There are many reasons to why I would like to become a support. I will go into some of these reasons in detail throughout this application.
  4.
  5. First off, Ill start by telling you a little bit about myself. I am currently 18 years of age,and I live in the U.S.A in the Central timezone(GMT-6). I am a senior in high school(12th grade) and going to be going to The University of Illinois to play baseball and study computer science in the business school. This I believe puts me above others because being a division 1 level athlete, and going into the business school at a top University in America shows that I am an organized, focused, and a dedicated person. Everyday I am dedicated to getting better at whatever I am doing, whether that be sports, school, or in video games. To move into more personal information oriented towards GTA alone, I am in CMA, and have been playing the server for around 4 months. I have been banned for 24 hours for combat logging in a sort of sketchy way with no gear. I have also been banned for wall glitching (or 3rd personing through a wall). I do understand this may not look the best for a helper application, but since this ban I have never done this exploit again. At the time I was misinformed that it was indeed exploiting since it gained me no advantage at the time(I was no in combat or near it). Besides these 2 bans in my 4 months I am very well informed about what I did wrong and the rules that instantiated these bans.

  7. Now that you have some information about me, I will go into my first experience/reason why I would be a great asset to the staff team in the GTA community. About 4-5 years ago I was heavily involved in a popular game called Minecraft. I played on a server for a long time, and got to be very known in the community. This server was a survival server, which means there is no player vs player combat. I felt this needed to change, and that there needed to be another server which involved the PVP aspect of the game. After alot of planning, creating powerpoints, and proposals I was able to convince the owner of the server to make a PVP branch with me as the head manager. I had to do everything by myself. I had to program the plugins to make it run correctly, I had to manage a staff team underneath me, and I had to manage all the players as well to make sure everyone was happy with how the server was turning out. After about a month the server had 150-200 people online on average, and donations were booming. That went for a while and about a few months around 100 thousand dollars was grossed. To make a long story short I asked for a small amount of that money and wasn't legally allowed since I was not 18 and I left the server(A month later it went down). Now I'm not just telling you this story because I'm looking for room to fill in this essay to you, I feel that this may be one of my strongest points when selling myself to you because it shows many many things about me. It shows that I am a good leader. I was able to lead several staff members and keep them happy while also keeping my player base happy and spending money on the server. I can handle alot of things thrown at me at the same time, and can deal with them accordingly. This will help me alot when being a support on GTA because when several people are asking me for help I can manage my time well between all of them, or communicate for help to another staff member if I am over-welmed.

  9. My Second reason why I feel I should be given the chance to be staff on GTA is my location and activity. This is clearly a European dominated server. And with that means most of the staff are online during European times. This leaves the later times( early morning for GMT) empty for staff to help people who are either up very early or also in the GMT -4 to -8 times. I am online during these times to help people with their problems that may occur when no other staff are online to help.
  10.
  11. Another reason why I feel I should become a support on GTA is that I am very well informed about the rules on this server, and also in touch with the rebel sides of things. I am in CMA and have no intention of leaving any time soon. I am constantly fighting cops, NATO, and other rebel gangs. With this being said I need to make myself more than informed about initiation rules, what counts as initiation or not, and what is allowed/not allowed in combat. Because of me needing to know these rules for my everyday game play I am able to relay these rules to other very easily and answer any questions that may spring up about them. I have built myself a pretty good reputation on this server, so if I tell someone something they will believe me, or listen to me if it is something about rules/general server information.

  13. The last reason I have to bring forward to you is the fact that I am very intelligent when it comes to formatting things to persuade people( like this perhaps :D) I am also very competent when it comes to typing, such as grammar. I can spell, and I can also type in a grammatically correct way so people can understand it the way I am trying to convey it.
  14.
  15. I feel that all of the reasons I stated above give me an advantage over other people who are also applying to this position. Just to recap, I have good leadership skills, good organization, good rebel knowledge and rule understanding, and good communication skills. I really hope that you see my desire to become a support member on GTA and grant that wish if you feel that I am worthy of such a prestigious position.

  17. Thanks alot for your time, Iceman
