( CRITIQUE FROM JUDGE 1 ) @tropicolds :


• Things I like:
The colours, the placements, the text (but not entirely).
I like your use of negative space, it guides the viewer's attention towards the model and the objects around it.
The contrasts are beautiful, I love the purple-orange combo. The subtitles are placed well, they create symmetry.


• Things I dislike:
The font used for title is good, but it looks weak compared to the rest of the cover, which is more "explosive".
And it's a bit hard to read if it's in a thumbnail, for example.


• For improvement:
For title, I suggest using a combination of the sans serif font used in subtitles and a bold script font
like (Noelan, Stylish Calligraphy). "Blacksmith" could be written in a script font, and the rest in sans serif.
But it's just an opinion.

• Things I like:
I love pretty much everything about this cover. The subtle background, the textures, the sparkles, the objects, plants,
the butterflies, the cutting of the model, and the colors. the font is really good too! the coloring is really beautiful.
I love the purple vs yellow look.


• Things I dislike:
There isn't much I dislike about this. All I could say is, the title looks a little plain because it's only white.
The girl looks slightly over-saturated, but it's not too bad. The watermark is a little stark,
maybe reduce the opacity or change it so it's not exactly white but like the off-white of something at the top.


• For improvement:
The subtitles could be broken up into two, remove the align-left/right so you can move them around to be more flexible.
Like maybe "there is more than" could curve around the thing at the top and "meets the eyes" could kind of curve between
the butterfly and the plant there. ask me if that didn't make sense, haha.
The title could have a text style- like the author does, but subtle.
