- >As your friends talk about their plans for the weekend, you stir around your vanilla pudding, wondering what are you doing wrong to persuade Anon to going out with you.
- >”I can’t wait for Nightmare Night! I’m ready to dress up as an undead zombie!” You stop your planning to look at Rainbow Dash reaching out, imitating to grab Rarity from across the table.
- >She flinches back from Rainbow Dash’s actions.
- >”Such a fitting idea for a grotesque person like yourself.” Rarity berates her.
- >”Oh? What do you have?” Dash gives her the spotlight.
- >”If you must know, I plan on being an enchantress this year.”
- >”So, basically a witch?” Applejack intrudes to clarify Rarity’s costume.
- >”Pfft. Just change the first letter with a ‘B’ and that will be a more fitting costume.”
- >You’ve never seen Rarity light up so fast in your life. That dark red face of hers nearly terrified you to the point that you might have to hide away from her wrath.
- >”You should know that I have put in a lot of effort for my costume. What will yours be? Torn up clothes and a bit of paint slathered on your forehead and arms?”
- >Rainbow Dash’s eyes shoot open at the sudden realization that her costume is not only simplified by a sentence, but how lackluster it will be.
- >”At least I’m not trying to wow some guy for the night.”
- >Rarity grumbles out of frustration before rolling her fingers into fists.
- >While the rest of your friends eat their lunch while looking at the two insult each other, you look off to see Anon eating is lunch with two other guys.
- >He looks a bit out of place as the two of them talk in their own little world, whereas he just plays around with his food.
- >You share his pain, but can’t muster up the courage to go up and ask him.
- >”How about you, Fluttershy?” Sunset’s muffled voice brings you back to the group.
- “Huh? W-what about me?”
- >”What costume are you gearing up?” Rainbow Dash asks out of positivity and genuine curiosity.
- ”Well, Rarity did help me out this year, and I’m actually happy with it.”
- >”Oh, great. Don’t tell me you’re going to be a hag like Rarity, are you?” Rainbow Dash adds in another sting.
- >Rarity uses her spoon as a miniature catapult to launch a spoonful of rice at Rainbow, effectively covering her in white rice.
- >Applejack, Rarity, Twilight and Pinkie Pie giggle, while Sunset restrains Dash by putting a hand on her shoulder.
- >”It’s not worth it, Dash. Just leave it alone.”
- >”She ruined my favorite jacket!”
- >”With rice?” Twilight questions her reason.
- >”I…” She looks around, re-thinking her actions. “Whatever.”
- >”What was it, Fluttershy?” Applejack jumps back to what your costume will be.
- ”It was made for a super secret mission, but we decided that it will be as a costume for this year.”
- >”Oh, so like a spy?” Rainbow Dash hypes it up.
- “Sort of.”
- >”Nice! I expected something a lot more… revealing, coming from Rarity.” Rainbow continues to insult her work.
- >”At least it will be enough for Anon to glance at her.”
- >”Aw come on, really?” Rainbow Dash groans in disappointment. “You’re still in to the guy?”
- >You nervously rub your elbow while looking at the table.
- >”Calm down, Rainbow.” Twilight tells her to sit back.
- >”I think that it’s cute!” Pinkie Pie supports you.
- >”What makes it cute?”
- >”I dunno. Two awkward people and one of them is trying their best to ask the other out just is!”
- >”I concur, a little romance doesn’t hurt anyone.” Rarity agrees.
- >”And I wonder what’s your definition of romance.” Rainbow continues to back talk her.
- >”Rainbow!” Sunset tries to muzzle her.
- >”No, no. It’s fine. Not like Rainbow ever knew what love is.”
- >Rainbow slams her fists on the tables.
- >”Stop! Both of you!” Sunset shouts out.
- >”Enough of this! We have to help Fluttershy out.” Twilight aims the focus back to you.
- “I appreciate the thought, Twilight, but I want to do this by myself.”
- >”Well, how about some ideas to help you out?” She suggests.
- “I guess.”
- >”Have you decided to writing a note to him?” Rarity suggests.
- >You have, but it was more than just a note.
- >It’s left in your backpack and best to be saved when the time is right.
- “I did, but I think it’s better off that I save it for later.”
- >”Okay, what about ‘accidentally’ walking into him?” Sunset tosses in her two cents.
- “I-I can’t. It would be too much.”
- >”Oh come on! Just ask the guy youself!” She points at him. “He’s right there!”
- “I don’t know. I just--” Before you could finish your sentence, Rainbow grabs your arm and pulls you up. “Eep!”
- >She nearly drags you while walking towards Anon.
- >With each passing step, you heartbeat grows louder and louder.
- >What will you say? What will you do?!
- >She pushes you forward, standing right behind you as you are standing right behind... him.
- >The shadow you cast is over him, causing him to take notice and look back.
- ---
- >You turn around and see that it is that weird animal girl that’s bothering you.
- >Let’s see what she wants.
- >”Uhm… I… We could…”
- >Forget the rest of your lunch break, she’s going to need the entire fucking day to finish off that sentence.
- >”What my friend is suggesting is that would you go out with her tomorrow?”
- >Oh, great.
- >You get to babysit this autist?
- >What a fucking offer!
- ---
- >You sweat under the tension on what he might say next.
- >“I think I’ll pass.”
- >Your heart sinks, quickly losing hope and starting to blame yourself for blowing it.
- >His two friends look at each other, almost in shock to his response.
- >”I don’t think you know on what you’re missing out.”
- >”Trust me, I know what I’m missing out.” He grabs his carton of milk and chugs it.
- >His friends begin to mumble to him, while Rainbow starts to grow stubborn from his refusal.
- “Rainbow--”
- >”Shh. I got this.” She whispers to you. “That’s fine. I guess you don’t want to go out and try to find... The Great Pumpkin!”
- >The entire lunch room grows silent, only to emit the sound of a utensil hitting the ground.
- >Your chest fills with fear from how quiet the room is.
- >Many are looking over on what Rainbow Dash is leading on.
- >”The what?” He questions.
- >”You heard me. Word is that a HUGE pumpkin rises from the field that’s on the outskirts of town at this time of the year. It’s an old legend that has been passed down for centuries.”
- >”Never heard of it.” He says with no interest.
- >”Well, have you ever seen it?”
- >”No…?”
- >”Exactly, only the most determined people have ever seen or heard of it!” She throws out her most enthusiastic voice yet. "So, what do ya say?”
- >One of his friends nudge him and whisper something.
- >”Dude, just do it. She is pretty cute.” Thanks to how silent the lunch room is, you are able to hear what he says.
- >He looks at you, and then to his friend.
- >”Alright. I’m in.”
- >You start to feel lightheaded and nearly fall, but stop when Rainbow catches you.
- >”She’ll meet you at the pumpkin fields outside of town tomorrow night, okay?”
- >He slowly nods and watches Dash drag you back to the table.
- >”Come on, Shy! Walk!” She grumbles to you. “Everyone’s watching!”
- "He... said yes?" You weakly ask Rainbow as she nearly lifts you up.
- >"He did, now get up!"
- >You regain your balance and rub your head.
- >"What was that?!"
- "I... I guess it was from the pressure and... he said yes!?" You nearly giggle out the last part.
- >She pulls you and guides you back tot the table.
- >You look at the girls and see them whispering to each other.
- >"What's up?" Dash asks what was just on your mind.
- >As you and Rainbow Dash go back into your own group, the entire cafeteria goes back to its usual chatter-filled ambiance.
- >"Nothing. We were thinking about helping you and Fluttershy with this 'Great Pumpkin' you're so excited about." Twilight lightly exposes their plan.
- >"Well don't. I'm the one that's going to bring the 'Great Pumpkin' into town." Dash clears the air that she'll be the one to pull the strings on this idea.
- >"We think that it's best that we help along." Sunset voices her concern.
- >"Hey, this is MY idea, so I think that I should be the one to call the shots." Dash boldly states her position.
- >You see the girls look at each other and each of them raise an eyebrow.
- >"Sure, have it your way." Applejack surrenders and munches on her apple.
- >"If you think that you got it, then fine." Sunset sides with Applejack and leaves it.
- >"Aww. I wanted to host a small party with a big pumpkin cake! I mean, who wouldn't want that!?" Applejack elbows her. "Ow!"
- >"Maybe we'll have a party to ourselves and do that later on, okay?"
- >Pinkie lets out a depressing sigh.
- >"Okay. At least Fluttershy gets to go out with Anon." Pinkie Pie tries to turn the topic right back to you.
- >"That reminds me; how do you feel, Fluttershy?" Twilight wonders about you. "Seeing you were about to fall back there."
- >"Yeah, what was that?" Sunset asks.
- "A lot of things I felt. Afraid, hopeless, but in the end, excited."
- >Your friends raise their eyebrows, wondering what all of that meant.
- >They accepted what little they got and continued to talk about their costumes they'll use later this month.
- ---
- >You wait around the entrance to the pumpkin patch.
- >It has been a while, so you take a glance at your watch.
- >It reads 8:50 PM.
- >Where the fuck could she be?
- >Her rainbow-haired friend promised that she would’ve been here twenty minutes ago.
- ---
- >You hide behind a bush, looking over to see that Anon is still waiting.
- >”Seriously, Shy?” Rainbow whispers, clearly irritated at you getting cold feet. “I got your foot through the front door, and now’s the time that you’re chickening out!?”
- “I didn’t think that this costume would be so…”
- >”I knew it, I freaking knew it!” Rainbow gloats out. “Told ya that Rarity and her work was trash. Heck, you were about to complain about it!”
- “A-actually, I’m just a bit cold on my arms and legs.” You begin to rub your arms together as you shiver from another breeze passing by.
- >”But you do hate it, right?”
- “Oh no, I actually like it. Rarity did put in a lot of work on it.”
- >You stop rubbing yourself to put up your hood and reveal a pair of ears sewn on.
- “See?”
- >Rainbow Dash groans in disgust as you play around with your ears by flicking them around.
- >”Listen, you just have to be in the fields for a few minutes. Remember the plan, so just stick to it.”
- >You nod.
- >”And remember, build up your confidence. Tonight’s the night that he’ll be yours!”
- ”Y-yeah!”
- >”That’s the spirit!” She pushes you out of the bush and onto the dirt road.
- >You take a deep breath in and start to walk towards Anon.
- >Alright, here you go…
- ---
- >You start to shiver, slowly regretting that idea to leave your sweater at home, as it seems to be a fog is starting to appear.
- >You thought that this would be a quick and simple look around and find fucking nothing. Not only were you wrong, but now you’re cold and alone out here.
- >You start to walk away from the entrance and begin to head down the road back to town.
- >When you go back to school this Monday, you’re going to talk down that train wreck that is--
- >”Wait!”
- >You stop and look back to see that weak-kneed chick running towards you in a weird outfit.
- >”S-sorry about that.” She says with bated breath from sprinting over. “I was just… uh… waiting?”
- “For what?” You nearly yell out of anger. "I've been waiting here for over twenty minutes with nothing but jeans and a simple T-shirt!"
- >She backs away from your outburst.
- >"I'm just nervous, that's all."
- "Please don't tell me you believe into that bullshit your friend spewed out."
- >"N-no, not that." She slowly walks up to you. "It's trying to get used to you."
- "What do you mean?"
- >"I'll tell you more while we're looking for the Great Pumpkin, okay?" She begins to enter the pumpkin patch and gestures you to follow her in.
- >Looks like you're actually going to waste your time on this old wives' tale. You may as well indulge her. Besides, you're already here.
- >You walk past through the open space between the vine covered white fences and look around.
- >As far that you could see in the dark night, there are multiple rows of pumpkins ready to be picked, none of which seems to be a noticeable size. To you, these rows reach out to an endless state, but that's possibly because of this fog that's starting to become even more of a nuisance.
- >"Come on, we have a lot of ground to cover."
- >You have the idea to split up.
- >Hell, you WANT to split up, but after seeing more than enough horror films, you just know that it is a bad idea.
- >You follow her down the very middle row, looking at the pumpkins passing by.
- >You slowly pull out the metal pipe that has been sitting in your pocket, waiting for some sort of monstrous pumpkin, or at the very least any misshapen one to appear.
- >If --and that’s a big if-- the legend is true, you will not hold back.
- >Aside from the fact that you’re paranoid, but just some precaution.
- >You are in the middle of nowhere, surrounded by pumpkins in the middle of night and with a mumbling girl that can barely stand up.
- >”So, d-do you like my costume?” She stops to try and pose, doing her best to show off and smile.
- “You look like a tramp.”
- >”Oh….” She mumbles and out of disappointment, slumps out of her pose.
- >You hear something in the distance, it was short, but loud.
- >Almost as if it was someone laughing.
- >You turn around and look at its general direction.
- “Did you hear that?”
- >”What was it?” She mutters out while hiding right behind you.
- “Someone laughing, I bet.”
- >”Someone or something?” She peeks over your shoulder and puts a hand on it.
- >You jerk your arm forward to get her off and walk towards on what you suspect to be where the source of the sound came from.
- >From what you suspect, it’s a noticeable empty spot between two pumpkins.
- >”A-Anon, please, slow down.”
- “Not when there’s something out there.” You bring out the metal pipe and keep it hanging to your side.
- >”Maybe it was a raccoon scurrying along.” She tries to bring logic and reasoning to your somewhat irrational behavior. “Uhm, what’s that?”
- “What’s what?”
- >You turn around to face her pointing at your hand.
- “Protection.”
- >She raises an eyebrow as you bring it up to show her.
- >”I’m sure that you won’t need it.” She tries to reassure you, regardless on how tense she might be.
- “And what makes you so sure that it won’t attack us?”
- >”Think about it, Anon; it is a pumpkin.”
- >Shit, she might be a hot mess, but she does have a point.
- >”What can it do? Roll you to death?”
- >You lower the pipe and slide it back in your pocket, chuckling at how ridiculous that might be.
- “Yeah, I guess you’re right. That would’ve been a stupid way to die.”
- >Fluttershy relaxes and chuckles with you.
- >Whatever is going on, it doesn’t seem right with you, especially on how she’s acting.
- >Maybe you should stop chasing whatever is out there and start talking with your questionable partner.
- “What’s going on with the get-up?” You point out her costume.
- >”Oh, this?” She flaunts around. “Do you like it?” She continues by spinning around.
- >She nearly falls down when she stops (why she’s wearing shoes with heels is a phenomenon), but you catch her from falling to the ground.
- >”Thanks.” When she gets up, you realize that half of her breasts are popping out.
- >“Eep!” During her best to cover it, there was a bit of fabric caught in the zipper, preventing it from going any further.
- >You try your best to look away, even though there’s a high chance that you will not see this thing ever again.
- >Maybe that’s for the best, because it is one of the most insecure females to go in the school; she could get your ass in trouble by claiming it ‘stare rape’ or some dumb shit.
- >”Come on you darn fabric!” She grumbles out.
- >As far that you can see is her shoes stomping around the dirt, clearly showing that she’s struggling with the zipper.
- “Seriously, why did you choose to wear that?”
- >”It was to impress you!” She nearly screams out.
- “What?!” You look up and see that she finally has that bust problem fixed.
- >”I tried to do this on my own, but I needed the help of my friends to get me to talk to you!” She shouts out, leaving a bit of an echo. “Rarity made this costume for Nightmare Night, but I thought showing it off to you would at least get you interested in me.”
- >You stand there in awe as her face turns red from her rant.
- >”And this!?” She points at the surrounding pumpkins. “THIS wasn’t even MY idea! Rainbow Dash planned this so that I could go somewhere with you!” She stops to take in deep breaths.
- >You see her clearly enraged and ready to tear up.
- >You shouldn’t be too hard on her, she is trying. Maybe a bit too much, but this is a lot of work.
- “Hey, I didn’t--”
- >You see something fly in the air, heading for your way.
- >You grab Fluttershy and pull her aside, causing the both of you to fall in the process.
- >It was rough, but at least you’re relatively speaking safe from what came down.
- >You get up and investigate on what it is.
- >What came down and splattered at the very spot that you were standing on is a pumpkin.
- >You wonder on who or what could’ve done this.
- >Fluttershy groans out of anguish.
- >You look at her arm and see that it has been scraped good from the fall.
- “Are you okay?”
- >You reach down, expecting her to grab your hand.
- >She’s baffled for a moment, but accepts your helpful gesture and grabs it.
- >”I am now.” She says with a smile.
- >She looks at what caused you to react like that and gasps in shock.
- >”Wh… how?!”
- “You aren’t the only one that’s curious, it came from over here.”
- >You start to walk, but stop when you realize that Fluttershy is just standing there, staring at the destroyed pumpkin.
- “Are you coming?”
- >”A-Anon, I think that it’s time for us to go.”
- “Fluttershy, this has to be a sign. We must be close.”
- >”But I’m telling you that this is a bad idea. None of this seems right.”
- >You grab her hand and nearly drag her over to where the pumpkin flew from.
- >”Wait! Can’t we call it a night?”
- “Not until I find out where that pumpkin came from.”
- >Fluttershy digs her heels in the ground, causing you to stop.
- >”Anon, I’m begging you, just stop!”
- “Fluttershy, for the last time, I won’t stop until--”
- >You hear some moaning in a completely different direction.
- >You and Fluttershy turn over to see a pumpkin, a slightly bigger shape than the rest, begins to rise from the shadows.
- >You pull out the pipe and leap over to what you were hoping to accomplish was to land on the Great Pumpkin and giving you the advantage on stopping it from tossing anymore pumpkins onto anymore trespassing teenagers.
- >But once you collide into the pumpkin, not only did you fuck up your jump and smack your head into the pumpkin, but what catches you off guard was someone shouting as they fall down.
- >When you and the other person fall down and grovel in pain, you take a good look and see that it was Rainbow Dash who was carrying the pumpkin and causing all of this commotion.
- >”Argh! What was all that about!?” Dash screams out of anger.
- “You tossed a pumpkin at me! What did I ever do to you!?”
- >”WHAT!?” She yells out of pure outrage.
- >”Rainbow! Did Anon hurt you?” Fluttershy finally catches up and asks for her well being.
- >”Just some slight bruising from the fall, but it’ll take more than that to hurt me.” She gloats about her toughness.
- “And I bet you were so tough when you threw that pumpkin at me, were you?”
- >”Dude, what are you talking about? I didn’t do that!”
- “But everything else was, huh? The laughing, the noises, all of it.”
- >”Well, yeah.”
- “So who else could’ve tossed that pumpkin!? Hell, was all of this planned out by the two of you?”
- >”W-well, yes.” Fluttershy answers the last bullet point. “We were coming here so that you wouldn’t be disappointed, but I didn’t think that you would’ve been so vicious about it!”
- “Now I am, more than ever with that little stunt when your friend tried to make pumpkin pie out of me.”
- >You crouch down and begin to pick up the pipe that you drop.
- >”I swear, I have no idea on what you’re talking about!” She begins to take notice of you grabbing the pipe. “You wouldn’t.”
- “I guess we’ll find out.”
- >Before anyone could do anything, something rustles around in the distance.
- "What else do you guys have in mind to scare me?"
- >Fluttershy and Rainbow look at each other, terrified about what's going to happen next.
- >"I swear, this was it!" Fluttershy panics. "It was just Rainbow Dash scaring the both of us with her waiving a pumpkin around, we would leave, and after you saw how brave I was to show you the Great Pumpkin, you would take me out sometime!"
- "I'm thinking of an entirely different context of taking you out, unless you tell me on what's next of your plans."
- >"This was it! I'm telling the truth!" Fluttershy goes on full hysteria now.
- >"She's not kidding, that was it!" Rainbow Dash shouts out.
- >After a good look on Fluttershy and her friend nearly pissing themselves, you begin to put the pipe back into your packet.
- >You decided that you're loosing it. Everyone's on edge. Maybe that sound that you just heard was the wind rustling some leaves.
- "I'm sorry. It's just that, I'm out of it when something tried to kill me. I want to get to the bottom of whatever it was and--"
- >Before you know it, a vine shoots out and hits you on the arm, causing you to fly a meter or two away from where you were standing.
- >You moan and turn back to see Rainbow Dash and Fluttershy horrified as they look at you, while something begins to reveal in the distance.
- >It's a pumpkin that's beyond the usual; a massive sonofabitch that's the rough equivalent of twenty or so people.
- >Thick, dark green vines on the bottom of it give it the ability to walk, whereas the lighter green vines surrounding it is used for everything else, such as attacking you.
- "Holy fuck." You mutter under your breath.
- >They take notice and turn around to see the creature.
- >Rainbow jumps up and begins to hightail it, leaving Fluttershy behind.
- >”RUN, FLUTTERSHY!” Dash yells out, refusing to look back.
- >As the creature approaches her, she only shakes in place, clearly stunned by the mere sight of the Great Pumpkin.
- >You get up and run over to see her fear-driven face.
- >As the crime against nature itself approaches, you grab Fluttershy’s arm and pull her away from it.
- “Let’s go!”
- >She snaps back to reality and begins to run with you.
- >You suddenly jolt back and hit the ground to see that Fluttershy’s leg is wrapped by a vine.
- >It begins to pull her back, leading straight for the Great Pumpkin.
- >”HELP! PLEASE!” She cries out of desperation, digging her hand in the ground to slow down, while tightly gripping your hand.
- >You let go of her and slip your hand out so that you could bring out the pipe that’s uncomfortably sitting in your pocket.
- >Before she goes any further, you smack the vine that’s pulling her, causing it to let Fluttershy go and retreat.
- >You toss the pipe at the pumpkin to buy some time as you pick up Fluttershy, still startled from the sudden attack.
- >While you prepare to carry her in your arms, she stares at you out of astonishment.
- >”Y... You saved me.” She wraps her arms around your neck and pulls you in for a passionate hug. “I knew that you cared about me.”
- “I actually didn’t want to get chewed out by your friends later on.”
- >”Oh.” She responds out of disappointment before you begin to run off.
- >It might be a rough and bouncy ride for her, but at least it’s keeping her safe away from that monster.
- >You see Dash waiting by the entrance at the gate, hoping for something or someone to come along.
- >You catch up with Rainbow and see her sigh as you lower Fluttershy down.
- >”Whew, you’re alright. Are you okay, Flutters?” She says out of relief that her friend is still alive.
- >Fluttershy jumps out of your arms and marches towards Dash.
- >”I am, no thanks to you!” She ferociously responds to her friend.
- >”Hey, take it easy!” Dash tries to calm her down.
- >”No, I won’t! What kind of friends leaves another behind like that!?”
- >”You saw that thing! It was huge!”
- >”And you decided that it was fine to do that!?” Fluttershy’s heated eyes and threatening voice starts to scare her.
- >”I-I…” Rainbow Dash stutters before thinking for a moment. “You know what? Survival of the fittest.” She sticks out her thumb and points it at herself.
- >Fluttershy pushes her back.
- >”You jerk! I’m now used to Anon being one, but from my own best friend!?”
- >You decided to jump in when you see Rainbow Dash preparing to punch Fluttershy.
- “Break it up! We aren’t out of here yet.”
- >”Stay out of this, buddy!” Rainbow Dash grabs you and pushes you away.
- >”Don’t you dare touch him again!” Fluttershy gives Dash a harder push, causing her to stumble around.
- >You know that this isn’t going to end well, so you decided to move in again and push Fluttershy to the side.
- >Perfect timing when Dash quickly threw out a punch and socked you right on the kisser.
- >Both of them gasp as you hang your head to the side.
- >You swipe your hand over your mouth and see a streak of blood on it.
- >You slowly get up with clenched fists and take a gander at their shock.
- >”I didn’t mean--”
- “If we weren’t already in danger, I’d be more than happy to oblige and take Flutters’ place.”
- >Speaking of which, she’s having that weird stare from when you picked her up.
- >You can only hope that she didn’t take it that way, but what can you do? You’re close to getting tired of breaking her heart.
- >Dash furrows her eyebrows.
- >”Looks like someone’s finally admitting that they like a certain girl that he’ll even fight for her.”
- >Okay, that tears it.
- >You take a swing, but miss as Dash moves aside.
- >She elbows you in the back, causing you to fumble a bit.
- >”You do NOT want to go down this road.” She warns you while raising her fists.
- “Hey, I’m not the one that asked for it.” You turn around and get back into your fighting stance.
- >”Whatever you say, Romeo.” She gives you one last insult before taking a shot at you.
- >You push it aside with your elbow, as if it were nothing and knee Dash in the stomach.
- >Flutttershy covers her mouth as she gasps in the sidelines.
- >To your expectation, you knock the wind out of her as she holds her stomach.
- >”P-please stop!” Fluttershy begs.
- “Don’t worry, I’m sure she will.” You walk up to her only to bask in a short lived victory. “Get up.”
- >”What about you?”
- >You pondered it for a moment, but got your answer immediately when she uses whatever strength she had left in her to punch you on the dick.
- >You fall forward, nearly collapsing on the dirt.
- >”Anon!” Fluttershy rushes to help you up. “Are you okay?”
- >You waive her away with one arm and use the other to hold it, nearly massaging it to make the pain go away.
- >”I’m sure he’ll be fine.” Dash speaks for you as she slowly gets back up.
- >Regardless of your refusal for her help, Fluttershy comes back to get under your arm and helps you up.
- “Slowly!” You sharply respond halfway up.
- >She obliged and gets you back on your feet.
- >”Let’s get out of here.” Fluttershy brings up a good idea that should’ve been done a while ago.
- >As you and Rainbow Dash barely walk past the fence, a thick vine soars through the darkness to wrap itself around Dash.
- >”What--?!” She’s yanked back into the pumpkin field, nearly flying in the air.
- >Rainbow shrieks as she’s ten meters high and the Great Pumpkin approaches her.
- >You groan as you walk back inside, but stop when Fluttershy grabs your hand.
- >”You know, w-we could leave her.” She whispers in a monotone voice.
- >She can’t be serious, this has to be a joke.
- >Her deadpan face shows otherwise.
- “I’d rather not.”
- >”We could say that we lost her and couldn’t find her?”
- “Look, as much that I would pick the holes in your plan and question you, I’d rather try to save her.”
- >You try to shake her off, but she keeps a good grip on you.
- >”After the way that she treated you?”
- “I don’t know what you have against her, but I don’t want to be arrested for conspiracy of murder.”
- >You reach into your pocket to--
- >Oh right, you tossed the metal a pipe back when rescuing Fluttershy.
- “Time to go!”
- >”But what about--”
- “Forget what I said, I’d rather live!”
- >Right as you turn around, a vine snaps through the air and wraps you with Fluttershy, tightening its grasp as the two of you wiggle around.
- >”Oh dear!” She worries while being pulled up. “I didn’t wanted to go out this way!”
