After Thursday’s shocking news that NECANN Boston Knife Incident defendant Maurice Stringer (AKA #massmothermari- in orange, below)) exposed attorney Scheril Murray Powell has been revealed as a federal agent, I can now share more secretive emails from Stringer (shared to the public court docket) that indicate both Stringer and NECANN owner Marc Shepard may have attempted to interfere with Stringer’s criminal case by directly speaking to Hynes Convention Center authorities.

If these pressure tactics were also the reason that Stringer revealed Powell as a federal agent in the same chain of emails with Convention Center authorities remains unclear.

Stringer stands accused of pulling a knife on camera while on government property during a convention and is also alleged to have worked directly with NECANN ownership (and leadership of disgraced non-profit “MassCann”) to retaliate, punish and intimidate the victims and witnesses in the case.
