The launcher is currently provided as a portable version in zip format. In the following days there will also be a installer for it.

Additionally, we are currently working on stabilizing and improving the backend infrastructure. Please expect unstable connections in the upcoming days while we are working on finally getting those issues slain.

What are the plans for steam release? Will the game still come to steam?

The game will launch as open beta on steam later this year, after we are confident that all major issues have been slain.

What if i want to play on Steam?

As requested, we were working to make sure that steam users will also be able to use the more open alpha.
While steam requires a store page trailer for release which we currently do not have, we have organized a big range of keys to give out via an automated system.
This system will be ready in a few days and will be released together with hub 4.0

I am getting a windows smart screen message. Why?

Applications that have not been used very often are flagged by windows smart screen. This warning is not something we can do anything about right now, it can be ignored safely. If you want to make sure you can use virustotal to make sure that the files are safe.
We are working on getting an EV code signing certificate that will also slay this issue in the upcoming days.

Can i play with friends that use the steam version?

Yes.

Can Patreons / people who buy the unlock still get immediate access before the automated steam key requests are available?

Yes.
