  1. Hey Christian,
  2.
  3. Looking at your miner I do not really see anything to be concerned with. Typically you can expect to get anywhere from 80%-95% of your advertised hashrate with some peaks above and some peaks below. This typically has to do with the following:
  4.
  5. 1) Pool Latency
  6. Latency is a major player in hash power. If the latency to your pool is high you are going to get a high amount of rejections and errors at your pool. Latency can be caused by connection at your location or at the pools end. Usually this happens at the pools end do to the high amount of traffic and volume to the pool. Also you may see this happen when people DDos pools or if the pools don't have correct routing and a connection to support the amount of clients connecting to the pool.
  7.
  8. 2) Geo location of your pool
  9. Geo location plays a big part in your pool and hash power (Mainly because of the latency factor). Say you have a hosted miner in the US on the East Coast, However the pool your hashing to only has a proxy on the West Coast. Your miners will be slower to respond then any servers in the Mid or West Coast. That being the case the Mid or West Coast miners will solve the blocks faster than your devices on the East Coast. Thus showing a lesser hash rate on your systems end. (Always look for pools and proxies as geographically close to your miners as you can.)
  10.
  11. 3) Improper Pool Administrating
  12. Many times you will see pools fluctuate do to the high amount of volume or for improper system fail overs and backups. There can be times that the pool admins may take some of your Hash power without you knowing, but you can see it missing in your revenue or even in the pools dashboard.
  13.
  14. 4) Not understanding pool fees
  15. Just because you can sign up for a pool doesn't mean it's free. Pools usually have a cost to run. Sometimes your fees are in Hash power or when you cash out. Always check fees to be sure you know what to expect from the pool fees.
  16.
  17. 5) Not living in a perfect world
  18. Anytime you see hardware advertised at something like 25Mhs this is usually under perfect conditions. We don't live in a perfect world and the internet is a big vast place. At any given time there could be issues with pools, ISP's, admins. All of these play a key role in having the perfect system with the best amount of hash power.
  19.
  20. If you are extremely worried about this we can switch you to another War Machine although I suspect you will not see much of a difference if you continue using the same pool. If you go below 80% definitely let us know but looking at what you are currently hashing at isn't a cause for alarm by any means. Either way we would be happy to move you around if it would make you feel better.
  21.
  22. Thank you for your business!
  23.
  24. Luke
