  1. You are Xarik, a wizard living in the kingdom of Larion. You have a staff and
  2. a spellbook. You finish your long journey and finally arrive at the ruin you've
  3. been looking for. You look around and see that it's not much different than
  4. when you left it. The only thing different is the dead bodies lying about everywhere.
  5. Suddenly a voice calls out to you from behind one of the corpses
  6. > cast magic missile at the voice
  7.
  8. You quickly run towards the voice and cast magic missile at it. It hits the corpse
  9. but doesn't do anything else. You turn back to the other corpse and continue
  10. casting magic missile at it. This time however the corpse begins to move and
  11. begin to shake violently
  12. > cast shape earth to trap the shaking corpse
  13.
  14. You immediately start to cast shape earth on the shaking corpse. It takes some
  15. effort but eventually you succeed in trapping it. You can hear the skeleton
  16. nearby getting restless so you decide to check on him.
  17. > say "Hey Bones, how's it going?"
  18.
  19. You approach the skeleton and see that he is not really asleep. He looks around
  20. confused and then starts to laugh. The laughter gets louder as you get closer
  21. until finally it becomes an ear piercing shriek. You stop your attack and look
  22. up at the sky
  23. > I think to myself "Why must you fail me so often?" and cast disintegrate on Bones
  24.
  25. You quickly cast disintegrate on Bones who screams out in pain before turning
  26. into dust. You walk over to the skeleton and examine his body. You notice that
  27. it has been badly mutilated. His face has been bitten off and his arms and legs
  28. cut off
  29. > look around for his harms and legs
  30.
  31. You look around for any wounds or leg missing from the skeleton. You find none
  32. so you pick him up and put him back down where he was. You also realize that
  33. you don't know what this thing is called anymore. You just call it a skeleton
  34. now.
  35. > transmute the bones into a chair
  36.
  37. You take the skeleton and place him back in the ground. You then use your hands
  38. to form a chair out of the bones. You sit down and try to figure out what to
  39. do next. You remember that there is a door here and you wonder if you should
  40. go through it
  41. > scoot chair closer to the door
  42.
  43. You scoot the chair closer to the door. You hear something outside and you look
  44. out the window to see a group of orcs coming towards the castle. They seem to
  45. be heading straight for the castle. You can't believe they didn't notice you
  46. yet.
  47. > shout "Hey stupid orcs, I'm over here!"
  48.
  49. You yell out "Hey stupid orcs! I'm over here!" and point your finger at them.
  50. They all stop their advance and stare at you in disbelief. They stand still
  51. staring at you for several minutes before one of them slowly walks forward and
  52. picks you up in his hand
  53. > cast wall of fire to shield myself from the orcs
  54.
  55. You cast wall of fire to protect yourself from the orc attackers. You watch as
  56. the orcs charge the castle walls only to be stopped by the wall of flames. You
  57. watch as the orcs attempt to break through the wall with axes and spears but
  58. you easily knock them aside with a wall of fire
  59. > cast fireball to destroy the orcs
  60.
  61. You cast fireball at the orcs. It seems to work quite well against the orcs.
  62. You watch as the orcs fall dead to the floor. You look around and see that the
  63. rest of the orcs have already made it inside the castle. You feel a little bad
  64. about killing them though
  65. > cast grasping hand and pull all of the orcs in the castle back out onto the battlefield
  66.
  67. You cast grasping hand and grab all of the orcs in the castle. You then drag
  68. them back out onto the battlefield
  69. > cast sleep
  70.
  71. You cast sleep on the orcs. You wake up later to find that most of the orcs have
  72. left the battlefield. You spend the rest of the day trying to track down the
  73. remaining orcs and kill them
  74. > look around for the remaining orcs
  75.
  76. You look around for the remaining orcs. You soon find them and kill them. You
  77. then head back to the battle. You find that the battle is pretty much won. The
  78. king has been killed and the castle taken. The orcs have fled back to their
  79. homes
  80. > Replace the throne with the bone chair and sit upon it
  81.
  82. You replace the throne with the bone chair and sit upon it
  83. > gaze out over my kingdom with my powerful magical eyes and look for any signs of trouble
  84.
  85. You gaze out across your kingdom and see nothing but peace and tranquility. You
  86. then sigh and close your eyes. You drift off to sleep..
  87. > die in my sleep, peacefully, knowing that I've vanquished the orc threat
  88.
  89. You die in your sleep, peacefully, knowing that you've defeated the orc threat
  90. YOU DIED. GAME OVER
