Okay so, time to get you updated about TBM:
First of all, they never surrender. They play till the bitter end and can't stand artrition so if it looks like they are just defending and doing nothing they are either up to something or waiting for a big core item.
They don't really bait intentionally but they're good at turning around so be careful when chasing, very freaking careful.
TBM's signature move is big AOE's. Especially blackhole. They've been using enigma in every patch so far, not giving 2 fucks about the meta but other AOE's with just as much potential are also possible. Everything from vacuum wall to MK ult is in the realm of possibility.
They only ward for the purpose of keeping their cores on track or to find good turns/initiations so if you have a suspicion that you're walking under a ward make sure to stand far appart if they have AOE.
They also like heroes that can save lives like omni and SD to fit in their playstyle of turning fights around when you least expect it.
In terms of cores anything is possible but they tend to avoid mellee heroes (unless stuff like ember and DK who function more like ranged heroes or AOE stuff) so basher etc. seem good.
They're super weak to ratting since they tend to focus on playing together but do pick stuff like OD and MK and void who have AOE ulti's while still being able to solo-kill splitpushers.
Luna has also been picked a bunch by them back before it was in the meta.
One thing is for certain though, pipe is going to help a ton against them in pretty much every game.
If they do pick a tiny, it's going to be the nuker variant.
Their main pocket strat is Brood but I don't think they'll pull it unless it's far in a big tourney.
Come to think of it, if you got a good pudge player you can fuck them like they dropped the soap.
