I know I'm probably wasting my time arguing with this guy, but I personally want to see what he'll continue to say as I keep asking him questions. And if he won't explain himself at all soon (as of now, 12/31/2012 11:20AM EST US), then I won't respond to him anymore.

It all started with a review I made on DmC which got a decent amount of attention.
More than some of the stuff I regularly post. (even though it's still DMC related material)

I explained on why I think DmC isn't as good as the previous games based on the gameplay and that I wasn't satisfied with it. I give decent explanations on why I think this way since I compare and contrast DmC with other DMC games (mainly DMC3/DMC4). Although I don't think it's complete trash. There is some hope for the game since I believe it will do well regardless of what people think.

At this point his comment received a good amount of thumbs down while people thumbed up my comment. So in order to save his humiliation, he decides to respond to me on via personal messages, in which he dodges everything I say only to exclaim that DmC is better.

No I'm serious, that's literally all he says throughout the conversation.

Anyway, I'm not a major fan of the series. I never said I was so don't put words in my mouth.
I don't even think the series is that amazing. However the combat system within 3 and 4 are the only things I have faith in DMC. Yet DmC comes along and screws that up as well, which is what I'm mainly furious about.
How is this "better" than the original DMC? Just because this game is new doesn't necessarily mean that it is better. You are just a blind fanboy that accepts anything that is thrown at you.

And just because I don't like this game nor agree with your opinions, I have to die with my "bullshit and stupidity."
And you're calling me "sad" for calling you an idiot?

. . .No you didn't. That's all you've stated when you tried to defend for your precious DmC. You didn't give me valid reasons on why it was superior. You insist that DmC is better when you have no actual reasons on WHY it is. All you keep saying is that it's "better" when that's not true at all.
And it's quite obvious you are a fanboy when you clearly disregard anything I say only to call me stupid, sad, pathetic, or some other nonsensical childlike term you can come up with.

You've said that my comment (whatever comment it was since you NEVER told me what I said) was bullshit when you never explained why it was bullshit in the first place.

And at this point I'm still waiting on your explanation. Which I doubt you'll be able to come up with at all.

Again, you don't know the story so you can't say "it's better". You're really sounding like a broken record.

HOW is the fighting and combat better? Please tell me since you never explained. To help you get started, here's why I don't think DmC isn't nearly as good as DMC3/DMC4.

DmC is not nearly as smooth as DMC3 nor DMC4, especially since Dante's animations are not nearly as refined as Dante in the previous games. They are choppy, clunky and have horrible transitions between each attacks. Jump Cancelling is dumbed down horribly since you don't even need to hit the enemy in midair to keep them afloat.
Dante in DmC is also a lot sluggish due to the constant pausing he does during his combos. And it doesn't help that the input buffering system is very inconsistent with button inputs, more so than DMC4/DMC3.
Intricate combos are relatively simplified since they don't require not nearly as much skill as playing DMC3/DMC4.

And those are my reasons. Feel free to come up a counter argument on why you think otherwise since you insist that everything is better without stating why it is.


Also I'm a fanboy because I post gameplay/tutorial videos about DMC in order to help those who are watching them? That's some pretty nice logic there. And my avatar is Nero because I play with Nero.

I called you a fanboy because you're defending this game simply by saying things are better. You don't have any type of backing towards your claims at all and you dismiss anything that is said towards you. You're acting like a complete fanboy towards DmC.
Also, you are either blind or fucking retarded. My picture is from DMC4 and it's Nero. Not DMC2. And I make DMC4 videos. How stupid are you?
