  1. [13:56] {NARRATION} The group enters into the forest where Messaris used to be, surrounded by nothing more than trees that sprung the look of autumn and spring all mixed in one. This place was one where the occult was never, really there, honestly. If anything, it was just quiet, peaceful, full of life.
  2.
  3. However, they all know why they are here; the search for cooties, but why are they here really?
  4.
  5. Well, either way, the search leads them to this place in particular, almost as if they are being summoned by whatever source in general.
  6. [14:01] She was leading them on a long-awaited search for something of great import, the cure for cooties. A disease that plagued the likes of men and women for countless generations, primarily found among the youth, it was time it was erased once and for all.
  7.
  8. "..Not really sure what it is that drew me here, but what we're looking for is here. I can feel it." She nods, quietly moving through the trees not far from the city her family had ruled from for so long.
  9.
  10. Heading towards where she was drawn, her single eye watchful.
  11. (Elaine ras Petrakis)
  12. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  13.
  14. [14:04] And trailing somewhere behind Elaine and Waylan was Rella herself. Possibly patient zero of cooties within Nysea, and definitely... a little bit upset that the trio's gone so far.
  15.
  16. "I - I hope you two remember... I'm just here so that neither of you get hurt."
  17.
  18. She kept her gun at her side, left hand ready to draw it at a moment's notice.
  19. (Rella Caller)
  20. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  21.
  22. [14:05] Waylan traveled with them to this remote location unsure of what they might find here. Elaine narrowed it down to this place being where the cure was located, but would they really find it.
  23.
  24. "Hopefully, we find what we're looking for here. I believe in you Elaine."
  25.
  26. He stood there looking around the forest area wonder what was out here. He didn't think anything would go wrong with them just looking around.
  27. (Waylan mer Joyau)
  28. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  29.
  30. [14:10] {NARRATION} The place that they were in was something that was just simple and sweet, not many houses or a single house in sight for a mile ahead. So, for them to go anywhere, they would have to travel pretty long and deep into the place.
  31.
  32. However, luckily, for some reason, there was a house, a small house. Not much bigger than an apartment building but mysterious at the same time. In all the places of Messaris, this palce was the most important.
  33.
  34. The door opens.
  35.
  36. Out came a little, hunched back lady that had simple issues with walking straight, she actually had a cane with her. She looked very old, and in need of help. Gray hairs strung down her head and towards her chesd, and in her free hand there was a basket of cookies. However, her business was focused on the farm that was around her.
  37.
  38. Will you help? It is always the heroes pledge, is it not?
  39. [14:16] It was certainly a very abandoned place these days, considering the lush farmland it had once been.. trees sprouting having all but reclaimed the land in the past few decades since the Demons blasted away most of Osrona years ago.
  40.
  41. "..Sure it a lot of nothing so far, for me to be pulled this way.." She states, speaking too soon as she spots the cabin through the trees. "..Is that a house..?" She quietly asks, stepping through the trees to spot the old lady as she exits. How long had she lived here?
  42.
  43. Was she alone?
  44.
  45. All important questions to consider as she would make a small waving motion with her hand, a faint question registering in the back of her head... Why was she carrying cookies if she was alone and about to work outside? Or maybe she was eating lunch?
  46.
  47. "Hello, Miss..?" She takes a small step forward. "..Do you live out here all alone?" The Petrakis asks quietly, not stepping any closer until she could gauge her reaction to her presence.
  48. (Elaine ras Petrakis)
  49. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  50.
  51. [14:18] Rella's fingers grip around her gun, and she -
  52.
  53. Looks to Elaine, rather than immediately panic and shoot the old lady. That would be a bad decision. That is what we call a social faux-pas.
  54.
  55. The Petrakis girl is the leader. Not her. She's just a bodyguard.
  56. (Rella Caller)
  57. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  58.
  59. [14:21] {NARRATION} At first, there was fear from the eyes of the old lady as the Petrakis came close to her. It was obvious why; the place was ran by demons just a few years ago due to the trades of Walter Dorco and the assassination of Ophelia Montclair. To not be scared was an insult.
  60.
  61. "Oh... dear... you scared me," she said as she turned over towards Elaine. "Why are you here, don't you know that there are demons and monsters up north?"
  62.
  63. There was a hint of fear, however, there was something else that only made things much more harsh. If anyone would look towards the north, they can tell that the path was only getting more darker and darker. The light was turning to black.
  64.
  65. The sky was turning black as well.
  66.
  67. "I offer you a home in here... but you need to think quickly...!"
  68. [14:23] She hadn't meant to startle her.. and her apologetic expression said as much as she approached. "I didn't mean to.. I'm sorry." She politely apologizes, her gaze shifting to the darkening area as she spoke. "Yes.. but why we're here is important." A resolute nod, before that offer was made to them.
  69.
  70. Turning to face Rella and Wayland, but primarily the one who was supposed to help keep her safe she asks. "What do you think..? Should we take her up on it..? Or head a bit north and see what we find..?"
  71. (Elaine ras Petrakis)
  72. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  73.
  74. [14:26] Waylan listened to what the woman had to say, and it was a lot to think about and they didn't really know this old lady well. "Well, she doesn't seem that bad, but we don't know her.." he rubs his cheeks a little "I guess it couldn't hurt, maybe she knows what we're looking for; I think..?"
  75. (Waylan mer Joyau)
  76. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  77.
  78. [14:26] Rella bites her tongue, rather than actually answer. It's up to the other two.
  79. (Rella Caller)
  80. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  81.
  82. [14:28] {NARRATION} As the three followed the old lady into the house, the blackness would cover the entirety of the area. Looking out the window, the only thing that people can see was nothing more than the darkness. Some could say that they were swallowed up in the void, but in truth, it would pass.
  83.
  84. Like most things in life, of course.
  85.
  86. The lady turns to the three, still hunched over as a coughing fit came, only for it to pass. "What are you all here for?"
  87. [14:31] Looking around she would enter the home, she would assess it for anything of note.. but outside it had grown ever darker. The question asked was met with a near instant answer. "We're looking for the cure for cooties, my friend Rella here has them really bad." She states, poor Rella.
  88.
  89. "You wouldn't happen to know anything about that being this way, would you?"
  90. (Elaine ras Petrakis)
  91. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  92.
  93. [14:33] Rella, of course, interjects - ready to defend her honor. One roll of her eyes. "They're looking for the cure for cooties. Which doesn't exist."
  94.
  95. She looks away, eyes scanning the rest of the room.
  96.
  97. "I'm like - a bodyguard. Because they needed an adult to escort them."
  98. (Rella Caller)
  99. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  100.
  101. [14:34] Waylan inches a few feet away from Rella he forgot about her sickness. "Yeah, she needs help pretty badly as you can tell the case has gotten pretty bad." he shivers at the thought "They are affecting her brain so badly she thinks it isn't real."
  102. (Waylan mer Joyau)
  103. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  104.
  105. [14:34] {NARRATION} Those words left nothing more than a horrible look on the old ladies face, only shrieks of terror and then some. As the words escaped from Elaine about such a thing, the woman would look over towards the window.
  106.
  107. "A few young whippersnappers came through this area of Messaris for something similar... the darkness swept them in. They never came back," she said.
  108.
  109. "I do know of the cooties, and I do know of the cure as well. It is a harmful disease, a disease that makes you think different, look different, have you consider things..."
  110.
  111. Her cane moved over towards the door of the basement, only knocking at it slowly. "Before anything, you all look so tired, so hungry, would you like to have some milk, some cookies? I made them fresh."
  112. [14:36] She flagrantly gestures towards the old lady as she confirmed the existence of cooties before them all, her eye settled on Rella. "See?! See?! I told you, it's the cooties making you think that." A nod as she often gave, she turns back to the conversation.
  113.
  114. "Well.." Should she accept milk and cookies from some random old lady in the woods..? Probably not. "What's your name Miss, if you don't mind me asking?"
  115. (Elaine ras Petrakis)
  116. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  117.
  118. [14:37] "I -"
  119.
  120. Rella throws up her hands, before turning herself away from the group, crossing her arms over her chest. A quiet huff leaves her.
  121.
  122. This was a joke.
  123. (Rella Caller)
  124. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  125.
  126. [14:40] {NARRATION} The plate of cookies and glasses of milk were equally distrbuted, and even if they didn't eat, it was the gesture that counted.
  127.
  128. "Medea. I have been here since I was just a little girl. What is your name?"
  129.
  130. The eyes of them were a simple brown, and the winkles of her was a clear cut sign of aging. However, there was something that was a miss. A simple little mark of a tattoo that spanned against her neck.
  131.
  132. Whatever, it is, it didn't mean much or did it?
  133.
  134. "What is your names? I haven't had guest in so, so long..."
  135. [14:41] "Waylan mer Joyau, it's a pleasure to meet you ma'am. Sorry you don't get many people to drop by, but this place is kind of hard to find, so I see why."
  136.
  137. It was odd they only came to get something, why did old people have a way of making you feel back for everything you do? he'd rub the back of his neck while looking at the other two.
  138. (Waylan mer Joyau)
  139. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  140.
  141. [14:44] Surely this old lady wasn't an enemy of the Crown, even if she was..? What could she do to all three of them..? With a soft tone, she speaks. "Elaine ras Petrakis, a pleasure to meet you Miss Medea."
  142.
  143. "Like Waylan said.. I'm sorry you don't get visitors, we really only stumbled here on accident even.." It was definitely remote, the young one looking at the cookies but unsure if she should eat.
  144.
  145. Especially if there were Demons around and she may have to fight.
  146. (Elaine ras Petrakis)
  147. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  148.
  149. [14:45] "Rella Caller."
  150.
  151. The detective eyes the offered food and drink with considerable suspicion. She hadn't been looking towards Medea, and completely missed the sight of the tattoo on her neck.
  152. (Rella Caller)
  153. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  154.
  155. [14:47] {NARRATION} There was just a sad, sad look on the eyes of the old woman as they did not indulge in her cookies. She even went the extra distance to even eat one of her own cookies when they were talking to only come with a nod of sorts.
  156.
  157. When they heard the Petrakis name, however, there was only a simplistic nod. "Princess Petrakis, you honor me by coming here. I never would have thought that I would live to see the day that another of the royal line would bless this house."
  158.
  159. A single cough.
  160.
  161. "If I had known that one of you would get lost in the woods, I would have got dressed more properly, I apologize. Please enjoy as many cookies and milk as you want, and afterwards, I will ask you to go into the basement to find a simple chest where I store everything... going down there hurts."
  162. [14:50] "There is no need for my presence to affect your day in such a dramatic way.." Especially since she had been out here so long apparently, it wasn't her place to intrude upon her quiet if lonely life. "..Another of the royal line..?"
  163.
  164. Who else had come here..?
  165.
  166. "Oh.. I can go get it now, if you want..?" She offers, she didn't want to see the old woman hurting before her to struggle to do it herself. "..Do you want the entire chest, or something specific out of it?"
  167. (Elaine ras Petrakis)
  168. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  169.
  170. [14:51] Another?
  171.
  172. It caused Rella to raise an eyebrow - but Elaine caught onto it as well. So, instead, her attention swung off towards the basement door, holding there.
  173.
  174. A quick glance to make sure her gun was still in its proper place.
  175. (Rella Caller)
  176. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  177.
  178. [14:56] Waylan looked over at Elaine "If you're going down there; I'll come with you and we'll get it together. I don't wanna be rude, but I don't trust you going down there alone."
  179.
  180. It might have been a bit rude though he didn't want his find to go into a place alone and they didn't know this lady that well.
  181.
  182.
  183. (Waylan mer Joyau)
  184. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  185.
  186. [14:56] {NARRATION} "Yes, another," she said with a smile. "There was one that was much older that came here before, the king before Serea. I was his royal alchemist for years and years, and he would come down here when I couldn't go up there."
  187.
  188. In all her youth, Medea was very sick and lacking in a lot of life. Alchemy was something that was very simple and easy to do. "On an expedition, he gave me a chest that was able to hold in so, so much, some would say that the weight of the world was in it. It took ten men to lift, magi, and they were strained to the core."
  189.
  190. A wave of her hand.
  191.
  192. "May I ask all of you to go down, and if you want, you want, you can open it and take anything you want from it. It's only fair and right for the Petrakis' line and others."
  193. [15:03] "Do you mean my grandfather..?" She asks, curious if she meant Alexander's father, the king many referred to as inept. "What was he like..?" She asks curiously, she had never really been told anything about him.. besides what she had read in books of course.
  194.
  195. "That's... Woah.. Sounds like a really big chest." If it could hold that much stuff, but if there were ten of them to lift it then..? "What is it you want out of it..?" Since she didn't specify what she herself wanted from it in the first place, or the chest itself. A nod to Waylan, they would all have to go anyway if it was that heavy and she wanted it.
  196. (Elaine ras Petrakis)
  197. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  198.
  199. [15:04] Rella, eventually, did indeed look back to Medea. All the while, through the story, she fiddled with her hands, trying to keep herself looking somewhat occupied.
  200.
  201. "If you were his alchemist for 'years and years' - what happened?"
  202.
  203. She tries not to squint or narrow her eyes. Please don't just... radiate suspicion.
  204. (Rella Caller)
  205. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  206.
  207. [15:12] {NARRATION} "It was during the days and the Invasion of Barsburg... but you're all a little too young to hear about it all, so I'll give you a little hint," she said with a simple story to follow.
  208.
  209. "We were at a time where we finally had a peacefire with Aen, but Barsburg wanted this Kingdom all to its own. Theria had helped with attacking Myllenoris, Myllenoris didn't want anything to do with the man due to him not trusting them and calling them invaders, and many cities claimed indepedence."
  210.
  211. It was a horrible time, but aperfect time for Barsburg. A single tear was shed from her. "Several Dragonlords died. The King died in battle, leaving a young, inexeprinced heir known as Serea in charge... The Lightbrigner was in danger and was nearing death."
  212.
  213. It was.
  214. Not a good time.
  215. At all.
  216.
  217. "No one trusted one another, and today, Barsburg is just going to attack again."
  218.
  219. "Now, all three of you, go and get what you want from the chest."
  220. [15:14] "I see.." That was certainly one of those pills that was hard to swallow, to hear about what befell her homeland since so much of it had splintered and fractured off in the past century.. It was why things had grown so dire as well, Esshar lacking the guidance of a Petrakis.
  221.
  222. "..Thank you for telling me." She slowly rises, a bit unsure as she would wait for the others to do the same, moving towards the door slowly. What could she possibly have down there anyway?
  223. (Elaine ras Petrakis)
  224. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  225.
  226. [15:17] Rella follows behind, of course.
  227. (Rella Caller)
  228. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  229.
  230. [15:19] Waylan follows
  231. (Waylan mer Joyau)
  232. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  233.
  234. [15:22] {NARRATION} Sometimes, people had to swallow their pills whole in order to understnd that not all of life is good and great. Deep down, Medea felt guilty for saying the truth, but nevertheless, she only spoke the truth needed.
  235.
  236. And that truth would have thems uffering, would it?
  237.
  238. As they go into the depeest, darkest part of the basement, the door would close and a purple highlight came around the door itself, shielding it in a rune and a simple mark of something that was so akin to that of the coven.
  239.
  240. It would continue to blink on and off, only making it show that it was sealed in general. Perhaps it was a way to keep them safe, or to keep them entrapped.
  241.
  242. They may look around to see what was in it, they can try a whole lot of things really. What will they do?
  243. [15:25] The hair on the back of her neck rose as the door slammed shut behind them, a rune covering the door shielding it from what she assumed to be attempts to open it.. It was a strange symbol, one she didn't really recognize as she peers towards Rella. "....What is that..?" She asked, wondering if her friend knew.
  244.
  245. A moment later she was already considering trying to blast it wide open, but she refrains. "..I don't think it's.... good." She looked around, holding her hand up to ignite it with a golden glow for them to see by.
  246.
  247. What could she see?
  248. (Elaine ras Petrakis)
  249. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  250.
  251. [15:27] When Rella's red eyes set on the mark, she let out a heavy sigh. Her left hand moved to draw her snubnose from its place, keeping it at the ready in case of any sudden intrusions.
  252.
  253. "I knew I should've just fucking shot her."
  254.
  255. Then, Elaine's actual question reaches her - "Sign of Helheim, I figure. Demons, witchcraft, what-have-you."
  256. (Rella Caller)
  257. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  258.
  259. [15:29] This couldn't be good, Waylan began shivering once the door was shut behind them. What kind of magic was this..? He shouldn't have trusted the old lady this much. "..Oh no.." he said while looking at the door, looking over at the others with a concerned look.
  260.
  261. "We can't really worry about what happened; I think we should focus on what to do next. I know we need a plan, so does anyone have any ideas?"
  262. (Waylan mer Joyau)
  263. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  264.
  265. [15:30] {NARRATION} The light of the glow would only perish due to the effect of Helheim on it the glow would only ruin it further, and because of that, they wouldn't be able to see much if at all.
  266.
  267. However, the only thing that was shining in the middle of the room, was a single, large chest that had gray stripes made of arcanium to enforce the wood with a single seal and a note on it.
  268.
  269. Who.
  270. Would.
  271. Touch it?
  272.
  273. If they looked around and felt around, there was a light switch. If they wanted to flick it open,of course.
  274. [15:31] Rella Caller says, "...Give me a second."
  275. [15:31] Elaine ras Petrakis says, "Okay."
  276. [15:31] Rella takes the lead, immediately drawing for the note from the chest's top.
  277. (Rella Caller)
  278. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  279.
  280. [15:32] Rella Caller says, "Don't touch anything else."
  281. [15:33] Elaine doesn't touch anything.. as she was told.
  282. (Elaine ras Petrakis)
  283. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  284.
  285. [15:34] {NARRATION} The note reads,
  286.
  287. "If you're reading this, you have fallen into the trap by Medea Autum. Many years ago, she was once my royal alchemist and a treasured friend who made the mistake of telling me her deepest, darkest secret.
  288.
  289. I sent my men in there to subdue her for trial so that she may face the ultimate justice of the Kraus, however, for some reason, I never did it. I simply told my men to go into the basement, and when they did, they faced the rays of Hel and never returned and left me mortaly wounded and cursed.
  290.
  291. From what I know, is that there is something about that chest; something that leads to freedom."
  292.
  293. Unknown King.
  294.
  295. What will they do with that information?
  296. [15:37] Rella, of course, reads the note aloud - without any editorializing. When she finishes, she folds her arms together, eyes shutting.
  297.
  298. "Said secret was probably 'I'm a witch.'"
  299.
  300. Pretty safe guess, that.
  301.
  302. Then, she drops to one knee. With her right hand, she reaches out for the chest's seal, tentatively.
  303. (Rella Caller)
  304. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  305.
  306. [15:40] "..Really Rella..?" She asks, in a playful tone even amongst the playful situation.. but she still understood they were in quite the predicament. She would watch her friend's efforts, edging her weight from foot to foot.
  307.
  308. She didn't want Rella hurt, really really didn't want her to be hurt.
  309.
  310. Her bandaged arm itched.
  311.
  312. "..Be careful.."
  313. (Elaine ras Petrakis)
  314. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  315.
  316. [15:41] Waylan mer Joyau says, "If you need help jsut ask.."
  317. [15:41] {NARRATION} As Rella touched the seal of the chest, it opened and swallowed her in without any question. It was an awful amount of screaming as they went in and just vanished from view.
  318.
  319. Oh no.
  320. [15:44] She stood horrified as it sucked her dear friend in, the Princess letting out a shriek as she could do nothing but stare for a moment..
  321.
  322. Her arm ignited into a phantasmal flame.
  323.
  324. Failed.
  325.
  326. Failed.
  327.
  328. She's probably dead, hurt, dying.. Every negative thought flooding her as she gripped at the limb for a moment, but she couldn't do it here, not now. She had to do something.
  329.
  330. "..I'm going in, I have to get her out.." She releases her other arm, and does the same as Rella.
  331. (Elaine ras Petrakis)
  332. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  333.
  334. [15:45] {NARRATION} Yeetus two.
  335.
  336. Elaine goes in as well. There was only one more person. Unless they were not going in at all?
  337. [15:47] Waylan wasn't going to leave them there and if there was anything he could do, he'd figure it out when the time came. He follow behind Elaine to ensure they both returned safely.
  338. (Waylan mer Joyau)
  339. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  340.
  341. [15:51] {NARRATION} The screams and the falling stop as they enter into the chest, only to end up in a place that was so cold and in a square area. Looking around, there were windows and there were three doors.
  342.
  343. Looking outside, they can notice that it wasn't a place of darkness, but instead a place full of light and rainbows. Perhaps it was Avalon, and they were dead. Perhaps, it was home, and they all ended up safe in Nysea.
  344.
  345. Both were incorrect notions as the only thing that came up was a form of a spirit that moved left and right as it looked at them all.
  346.
  347. "Hello there, first time?"
  348. [15:55] She almost plopped onto her bottom as she appeared, the Princess instantly aiming to gain a glimpse of her surroundings.. The area bright and full of colored incandescence, it was a stark contrast to what they had just been in.
  349.
  350. Stepping back she stared at the 'spirit' before her.. "First time..?"
  351.
  352. "Where are we..?"
  353. (Elaine ras Petrakis)
  354. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  355.
  356. [15:55] "Yeah. First time."
  357.
  358. Rella rolls her eyes, before promptly refolding her arms over her chest, looking properly annoyed with the entire situation.
  359.
  360. A brief glance is thrown in the direction of each door, internally marking them down as sites to further explore.
  361. (Rella Caller)
  362. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  363.
  364. [15:59] {NARRATION} "Pandora's Box," the spirit said without any real emotion beyond it. "Not just any other box, but a box that keeps you sealed and trapped forever and ever, even as a spirit! Currently, there are a few of us spirits that just want to be freed, but we gave up nearly fifty years ago."
  365.
  366. How awful could have it have been to be stuck in a box that could never, ever be escaped from? Perhaps it was time to kick the bucket themselves.
  367.
  368. However, just as the notion came another spirit came in that was more teal in colour. It was another knight that was much more positive. "Not fifty years ago, fifteen years ago. There is a way out if you definitely do try."
  369.
  370. However, just as that was said, another, negative spirit came. "No... no there's not. These kids and that creepy vampire wouldn't be able to get past -it-!"
  371. [16:01] "I'm not a vampire!"
  372.
  373. It's thrown out on pure reflex, in response to the word being uttered at all, almost regardless of context. Then, a huff, and she looks to the two teenagers at her sides.
  374.
  375. This conversation was left up to them.
  376. (Rella Caller)
  377. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  378.
  379. [16:02] "Pandora's box.." They were inside the chest..?
  380.
  381. It was like the weight of a world was inside of it.
  382.
  383. Something that now made sense as she peered around further, the bickering spirits heard as she the final words caught her attention. "..It..?"
  384. (Elaine ras Petrakis)
  385. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  386.
  387. [16:02] "Maybe you given up to soon; I think there is a way out if we all work together there could be a way to escape. If you just give up then what's the point of having hope and faith?"
  388.
  389. Waylan wouldn't let the gloomy setting ruin his mood, there was always a loop hole in these kind of things, but he wasn't sure what that might be.
  390.
  391. "I'm sure we can.."
  392. (Waylan mer Joyau)
  393. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  394.
  395. [16:07] {NARRATION} "It," the optimistic spirit said, "is a man who is said to be in the deepest forest of Deville. A user of the cosmos that only works to fill in the voids of space with red, corrupted stars that was trapped in here on purpose to study. Some say he found immortality..."
  396.
  397. The neutral spirit then chortled. "Not immortality, just extended his life by a thousand years. They have been in here before we even been here, in fact, he KILLED us!"
  398.
  399. The negative spirit just started to cry at being yelled at. "I'm sorry miss vampire... just dont hurt me," he said before turning over to the side. "Yes... he killed us all and left us hopeless and trapped. They don't care about any of us, at all, only wants to use us as experiments to entrap us in corruption. It... worked for me."
  400.
  401. Clearly, the negative spirit was a victim of this horrible place. However, what will the group do?
  402. [16:09] "Deville..?" What were all of these names..? All of the spirits chiming in, it was hard to tell what was truth.. and what could just be them being messed with. Though if there was someone here like that..?
  403.
  404. "He.. made you like this..?" She asks, slowly stepping forward. Something about that seemed to force her holy magic to flare a great deal, that intense soothing sensation trying to push it's way outwards around her like a miasma.
  405.
  406. "..Where is he..? And.. I may be able to help you..?" She offers, but could she really..?
  407. (Elaine ras Petrakis)
  408. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  409.
  410. [16:12] Rella just takes a very small step to the side, further away from Elaine - when she starts venting all that glowy light.
  411. (Rella Caller)
  412. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  413.
  414. [16:15] {NARRATION} Upon the light being shined, the negative spirit was the one that was compelled to start moving away. Perhaps it had to do with the corruption that led to them starting to grow a sort of infection of the spirits face.
  415.
  416. "Please shine the other way, I can't take it! Ever since he kiled me and tried to used me!"
  417.
  418. A single movement of negative emotions had them going out of one door, leaving two spirits right then and there.
  419.
  420. "The Forest of Develle is very, very dangerous. I ask you to tread lightly, and I ask you to stay safe. You will meet him where you least expect it. You will see what he has done. You will learn what you are after," said the optimistic spirit.
  421.
  422. The neutral spirit, however, only had one thing to say. "There was a couple of kids here who was searching for the cure for cooties; I wonder if they meant the occult madness or the 'real' cooties that have you falling in love..."
  423.
  424. A single slap from the optimistic spirit as the neutral spirit went out the other door, leaving one door left for them to leave. "Be. Careful."
  425. [16:18] Well.. it seemed there was nothing she could do for it then, the warning heard as she peered towards her friends. "We should get going then..?" She asks, some of those final statements catching her off-guard. "..What I am..?" She asks, the last spirit mentioning the real reason they were here.
  426.
  427. "The 'real' cooties."
  428.
  429. Her response before looking towards what she could assume to be the way to go..? "I think this new forest will be a bit harder to move through, than the one before her house.." She mumbles.
  430. (Elaine ras Petrakis)
  431. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  432.
  433. [16:20] "There's no 'real' cooties!"
  434.
  435. Rella was offended that it was even mentioned in the same breath as madness. She threw up her hands, prepared to verbally spar the spirit for spreading such lies -
  436.
  437. And then Elaine takes the lead, responding before she can actually begin.
  438.
  439. Her head tilts. "...Thank you for the help, anyhow. We'll, uh. Handle that thing...?"
  440. (Rella Caller)
  441. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  442.
  443. [16:22] Waylan wasn't really sure what to really say he found this very strange. He followed them to the new location unsure of what they'd fine there.
  444.
  445. "I'll follow your lead."
  446. (Waylan mer Joyau)
  447. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  448.
  449. [16:22] * You have been awarded 2 Roleplay Points! *
  450. [16:27] {NARRATION} The true adventure starts, and as they leave through the first door, they start to notice that bright and colours that were there started to change entirely. As the trees started to come forth that were once green, purple would come into them and the same as death. Perhaps it had something to do with the cooties?
  451.
  452. Or perhaps it was the corruption of negative emotions upon those falling in. Who really knows?
  453.
  454. Before they can truly enter the forest of purple that was so akin to the Dreadwoods, they would first have to get over this actual roadblock of darkness that was there; it was lingering with the occult and settling with madness. Those that were able to truly connect to the dark magic could feel it lingering.
  455.
  456. There were a few ways of getting rid of this dark roadblock, and there were just as much right ways as there were wrong ways. What will the group do?
  457. [16:28] Rella Caller says, "...Right."
  458. [16:28] Rella Caller says, "This looks like my job description."
  459. [16:28] Rella Caller asks, "Any argument?"
  460. [16:29] Elaine ras Petrakis says, "No.."
  461. [16:29] Waylan mer Joyau says, "No"
  462. [16:31] That sounds like permission to her. Rella steps forward, boots crunching some shadewood branches underfoot, and draws forward both of her hands.
  463.
  464. A solid wave of the Occult? Yeah, she's cleared this sort of thing before.
  465.
  466. Hell, she's made this sort of thing before.
  467.
  468. A crack of both of her wrists, and the wave of corrupt magic is answered with a wave of the same sort, fundamentally -
  469.
  470. Only rendered hollow, inert. Empty space, shaped like the Occult, and forced into it to cut a clear path forward.
  471. (Rella Caller)
  472. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  473.
  474. [16:34] She would stand behind Rella, the stench of the Occult-tainted place was clearly bothering her.. It was making her stomach turn the longer they were in it, and she wasn't sure how long she could take it before she just threw up.
  475.
  476. Yet she would push forward, letting Rella take the lead as she wished and follow in her wake as best she could.. not wanting to set anything off she didn't have to. "..I don't like this place.." Though at least the path Rella cleared would make her feel better, a bit.
  477. (Elaine ras Petrakis)
  478. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  479.
  480. [16:36] He was getting an odd feeling while being in this place, but was this normal? It was occult after all and it had a way of affecting people and messing with their minds and emotions.
  481.
  482. "...It will be okay."
  483.
  484. He wanted to reassure Elaine; however, he wasn't sure how much trouble they'd find themselves in after all. It was truly a odd situation.
  485. (Waylan mer Joyau)
  486. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  487.
  488. [16:36] {NARRATION} The Occult was nullified, and because Rella was so powerful and great with the occult, it soon turned from the darkness and into a solid gray before being cut open like a ribbon. Thanks to her, she was able to actually not alert anything that was too wild as they moved forward-
  489.
  490. But it definitely, did piss off someone that was not so happy to see such a thing get by. It couldn't be the cosmic user, but it was something that was lingering and watching. Almost like it was hungry, almost like it was out of this world.
  491.
  492. Could they feel such a thing that was only getting closer and examining -- staying in watching distance all the same?
  493. [16:40] It seemed whatever dark influence may have harmed them had been nullified, surely something she should thank her friend for later. Though that wasn't all, she could feel they were being watched.. or it could just be her paranoia of the place at this point.
  494.
  495. "Does.. does anyone else feel like we're being watched..?"
  496. (Elaine ras Petrakis)
  497. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  498.
  499. [16:42] The Occultist's hands drop to her sides, when her work is finished. Although she's just about to sidestep the question, her voice does lower, just in case Elaine happens to be correct.
  500.
  501. "I try to ignore any feelings that I'm being watched, personally."
  502.
  503. She clears her throat against the back of her left hand, hoping that Elaine would understand what she meant, without any further exposition being necessary.
  504. (Rella Caller)
  505. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  506.
  507. [16:44] "If something is watching us it won't take long before it comes out to find us. Let's just hope it continues watching up from a distance and leave us be.."
  508.
  509. The attempt to bring light into the situation was probably a fail; however, he needed to keep trying to ease the tension building up around them.
  510. (Waylan mer Joyau)
  511. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  512.
  513. [16:49] {NARRATION} From the wild, a horrible bear with a single gold eye and a jaw that was tainted with the corruption of the occult. It had no real mind set besides seeing what was a direct opposition to the forest and getting rid of it. Perhaps it was a guard of sorts.
  514.
  515. Perhaps it was just an animal, only doing what it does best to strike down and ruin anything to eat.
  516.
  517. Whatever it was, let us heros pray that they were ready.
  518. [16:51] Great start. In one smooth motion, Rella twirls her snubnose into her left hand, taking aim for the wild creature. A small nod is thrown towards the two teenagers, and then a deep breath.
  519.
  520. Her wings spread from her back. Soft edges, leathery, black, covered in ethereal feathers - you probably know the works by now.
  521.
  522. Finger's on the trigger. Dread of the grave. Let's roll.
  523. (Rella Caller)
  524. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  525.
  526. [16:52] She was startled by the bear, but that didn't mean she as afraid of it. The Princess wincing internally as her bones snapped and displaced, Holy magic flooding her in an attempt to mitigate the pain.
  527.
  528. Her blue locks exploded outwards like a mane, even as her bone structure realigned itself slightly.. Somewhere between a human and a lion, she stood ready, her bow clutched between her clawed fingers.
  529.
  530. "Let's get it out of our way.."
  531. (Elaine ras Petrakis)
  532. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  533.
  534. [16:59] {Won Dangerous RPB against Spirit of a Knight}
  535. [16:59] {NARRATION} (those that went down please roll)
  536. [17:12] {NARRATION} Defeat.
  537.
  538. Something that the bear didn't expect to happen came in waves of occult, time, and other horrible amounts of destructive flames as the only thing that was left was a whimpering look in its eyes.
  539.
  540. On it side it rested as the only thing that the group could do was either put it out of its misery or find what was wrong with it.
  541.
  542. The very jaw of the creature had a stinch that could make a holy mage puke, however.
  543. [17:16] With great group effort, they managed to bring the massive bear down.. the look in it's gaze invoking pity and sympathy she slowly steps forward before she began to puke right onto the dirt.
  544.
  545. Stumbling back, she wiped her mouth.. A pleading look going towards Rella.. "Help it.. please.." If she didn't the Princess would try to force herself forward again, to try herself.
  546. (Elaine ras Petrakis)
  547. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  548.
  549. [17:17] Rella set her boot against the creature's side, red eyes darting to the pair alongside her - silently asking them for permission to act.
  550.
  551. ...And then skirting right around it, feeling the Occult drifting from the inside of the creature's circuitry. Her free hand is aimed down, palm outstretched, fingertips sparking with hollow mana.
  552.
  553. "Alright... keep yourself together - "
  554.
  555. She had the impulse to just kill it on the spot. It did attack them first, after all, but... maybe it's afflicted by the same madness that she often was...?
  556.
  557. A heavy deep breath, and she attempts to delve into the bear's circuitry, feeling for what scraps of the Occult she can.
  558. (Rella Caller)
  559. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  560.
  561. [17:20] Apparently Waylan was injured, but he didn't know what had happened to him, so {insert injury here} he'd be in pain of course while letting them deal with the beast.
  562.
  563. "...Wasn't...expect this..." he said while wincing in pain somewhat. It wasn't major, but it wasn't something that could be easily overlooked.
  564.
  565. He should be more careful next time.
  566. (Waylan mer Joyau)
  567. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  568.
  569. [17:23] {NARRATION} As Rella scrapes around and tests the waters of the beast, they can find that the very jaw wasn't real. It was an artifical jaw made of mythril and enhanced by orchilcalcum.
  570.
  571. It had to be removed.
  572. It needed to be removed.
  573.
  574. Or else it will only get up and attack it.
  575. ---
  576.
  577. As for injuries:
  578.
  579. Waylan was cut on the chest by the claws of the occult, having the scent linger for a few months. (1 day temp.)
  580.
  581.
  582. [17:29] There were the usual parasitic signs of the Occult running through the beast's natural circuitry, however - it didn't end with natural circuitry.
  583.
  584. Instead, there was a spiderweb of orichalcum and mythril lying underneath its skin, connecting it all to a false jaw - the real battery of the Occult...
  585.
  586. It was like a twisted science experiment.
  587.
  588. Her heart sank at that observation. Who made this? It couldn't be -
  589.
  590. No, no. Witches. Witches, not his work. Leave that thought behind.
  591.
  592. Another deep breath, and Rella sets her hands around the edges of the artificial jaw, fingertips flowing with the same empty mana as usual, trying to lessen the pain, sever whatever connections lied between the creature's nerves and Orichalcum.
  593.
  594. And then, from there, remove it. As cleanly as she can manage.
  595. (Rella Caller)
  596. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  597.
  598. [17:31] She would do her best to be as close as she could stand, clearly concerned with the bear's health.. Even if it had just tried to murder them all, it wasn't it's fault.. was it?
  599.
  600. Some part of her wanted to send her own magic to help, but it would directly conflict with Rella's own, and so she would just wait and watch..
  601. (Elaine ras Petrakis)
  602. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  603.
  604. [17:33] {NARRATION} As Rella goes to scrape and nullify the mithril jaw, the bear would find its true amount of pain before falling into silence. The nullifcation of both the pain and the occult from their systems was enough to have them feeling a sense of happiness.
  605.
  606. ... However, what will they replace that jaw with, though?
  607. [17:36] Rella takes a step back from the bear once her job is done, stashing the cursed jaw away in some deep part of her satchel. Her gaze swings from the creature up to Elaine -
  608.
  609. "I think... that's my part done. I'm not a doctor. Pretty much... precisely the opposite."
  610.
  611. Her, on the other hand?
  612.
  613. "You're an exorcist. I'll toss you a lax essence if you need it, but I don't have much else to offer."
  614. (Rella Caller)
  615. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  616.
  617. [17:46] Once the jaw was clear..? She was fine to approach the bear, the Princess almost running over.. she felt terrible for it. "..I.." What could she do to fix something like this..?
  618.
  619. She only had one idea.
  620.
  621. "..I don't think I'll need it." She states, coming close to kneel next to where the jaw-less bear was laying. "I'm so sorry this happened to you.." She sniffled once, a small hand coming to softly pat behind it's ear. "..but I'm gonna do my best to fix it, and then I'm going to find the guy who did this and kick his butt." The first tear slipping down her cheek as she took a deep breath.
  622.
  623. A conversation with Uncle coming to mind.
  624.
  625. 'I mastered Time magic by the age of nineteen, Elaine. Do you think you could do the same?'
  626.
  627. She focused intently upon the bear, her thoughts drifting to the inner mechanics of the stopwatch Atlas had let her borrow for a few brief mechanics. Time was as fluid as anything else, and all she wanted to do was take a bucket from further back on the river and deposit it here.. should be easy, right..?
  628.
  629. Wrong.
  630.
  631. Though it wouldn't stop her from trying.
  632.
  633. Humming softly, there was a faint tick to the tone every second as emerald temporal energies flow around her form.. faint flickers of gold mingling within as her Holy magic responded to her call as well for when it would be needed.
  634.
  635. Slowly channeling it into the bear, she ensures every trace of the Occult is gone, as well as soothing the pain of any injuries it bore.. and next..? She dipped her 'bucket' into the timestream, from many moons ago, when the bear still had it's own jaw.
  636.
  637. From there..?
  638.
  639. She would try to bring it here, using her holy magic to ease the transition she would essentially try to regrow it's own natural jaw by drawing it forward.. Would she succeed..?
  640.
  641. Definitely the hefty question.
  642. (Elaine ras Petrakis)
  643. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  644.
  645. [17:48] {NARRATION} Time was definitely something, always moving, even though Elaine was a proud magus of such, it took a bit more than what she had to make the jaw truly complete again.
  646.
  647. However, she was sucessful in geeting rid of the occult, the jaw itself was only half way there as time was slowly making sure that the jaw was fully being in control and taking its sweet time in being full.
  648.
  649. The bear comes to walk, and the forest around them was slowly starting to turn from its evil darkness into a more green. They had to get moving, there was no other options in this.
  650.
  651. The Bear was its ally, for now.
  652. [17:51] She had done her best, but she was still only fourteen.. the fact she had managed to do anything at all said a lot. Or so she would think, and thankfully it was enough to make her feel better.. eventually it seemed it would be back to normal entirely.
  653.
  654. "We..we should keep going." She states, unsure if Rella still wanted to head their spear in case more Occult things impeded their progress."
  655. (Elaine ras Petrakis)
  656. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  657.
  658. [17:53] Rella doesn't exactly watch Elaine's work. Something about it was unnerving - seeing rot slowly disappear, recede, like someone was playing film backwards.
  659.
  660. It just didn't connect with her usual understanding of medicine. It looked off.
  661.
  662. Regardless, it did indeed seem to work...? Mostly, anyway - enough that the creature had become calm.
  663.
  664. "...Good job."
  665.
  666. That's all she says, before she takes the first tentative steps forward through the woods, gun at the ready for any new intruders.
  667. (Rella Caller)
  668. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  669.
  670. [17:56] Elaine ras Petrakis says, "I guess we're moving forward then.. Waylan is quiet."
  671. [17:56] Rella Caller says, "I don't blame him."
  672. [17:57] {NARRATION} The road would open up like it should, only letting them to happily move forward without any fear or worry. However, that was when they quickly noticed someone that was wearing all white, as well as being a bald man that was in charge of them.
  673.
  674. Whatever stench that they felt was something that was so eager to approach, and it would have made anyone sick if they used the excorism. However, those that worked with cosmic felt something that was awkward too...
  675.
  676. Fighting them right now probably wasn't a good idea, for they also had a group of followers that looked exactly like them... and they were preaching something.
  677.
  678. "Together, we will escape from this world and make the entirety of Eternia our own, new stars..."
  679.
  680. "We are so close."
  681.
  682. Surely, this was the person that they were after. What do they do?
  683. [18:03] This entire place was making her sick, and it was only getting worse by the time they spotted the bald man.. Unfortunately for Elaine, she was both a Cosmic Magi, and a Holy Magi.
  684.
  685. They seemed outnumbered.. but she was angry, the Princess doing her best to keep her stomach contents where they belonged. She glanced to Rella, but that's all she would manage, her beastial transformation flaring for a moment as some of her feline traits seemed to take a firmer hold. "Hey, assbutt."
  686.
  687. She calls out, waiting, and it was clear what she was.
  688. (Elaine ras Petrakis)
  689. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  690.
  691. [18:04] ...Rella stares right up at the sky. Or whatever passes for it, in this pocket dimension.
  692.
  693. Yiel, help me.
  694. (Rella Caller)
  695. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  696.
  697. [18:05] {NARRATION} ... who thought Elaine how to curse?
  698.
  699. As the bald man looks over towards them, the followers do as well as they were just... confused on what the Hel they were doing.
  700.
  701. "Who are you? Why is that vamprie next to you?"
  702.
  703. There were simple questions and he wanted a simple answer. The occultism was rising and same was the awful, horrible red cosmic that was rising.
  704. [18:05] Rella Caller says, "I'M NOT A VAMPIRE."
  705. [18:05] Rella Caller asks, "DO YOU NOT SEE THE WINGS?"
  706. [18:06] Waylan mer Joyau says, "Vampire dragon..."
  707. [18:06] Rella Caller says, "I'M NOT A VAMPIRE."
  708. [18:09] She had never been taught to curse, and it definitely showed.
  709.
  710. The confused looks were met by her single-eye'd stare.
  711.
  712. Elaine was gentle, Elaine was kind, Elaine would show mercy in all but the most extreme cases.. and this was certainly one of those. She was sure she would regret this later, probably sooner than later, and she paid Rella a glance before she announced.
  713.
  714. "My name, is Elaine ras Petrakis." She states boldly, her bow still loosely grasped in her hand. "Tell me what you were saying as we arrived, what are you planning to do?" She asks, every fiber of her being fighting against the corruption around her.
  715.
  716. To keep herself from being sick.
  717. (Elaine ras Petrakis)
  718. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  719.
  720. [18:11] Oh. Guess it's time for introductions. Or... maybe she's just taking Elaine's lead, on this one. Rella brought her attention down to the spooky cult -
  721.
  722. "Rella Caller. Detective."
  723.
  724. Her wings flutter at her back. Feathery. Ethereal.
  725.
  726. "...Occultist. One of Yiel's devoted."
  727.
  728. Maybe they'd appreciate those points...?
  729. (Rella Caller)
  730. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  731.
  732. [18:15] {NARRATION} "Petrakis..."
  733.
  734. A single hiss came from the bald man's mouth as the only thing that came from him was a single hiss of hatred.
  735.
  736. "I thought you would all be for naught and wiped."
  737.
  738. The eyes then linger on to the occultist. "A vampire drakanite... I know I was sealed here for years, and years, but I never would have thought..."
  739.
  740. "I am going to escape from here, and I will be taking my knowledge and followers with me. Not to only destroy Agartha, but to conquer Eternia and make it all of my own and make new stars."
  741.
  742. The rattling of his necklace came across. "For years, I was gathering energy from the stars while in here, and soon, I will release it all and destroy that witch who tricked my in here. It's all in due time, now..."
  743.
  744. "Do you want to join me? It's never too late."
  745. [18:16] Rella Caller says, "I'M NOT A VAMPIRE."
  746. [18:25] "You'll find those whos blood shines with the touch of divinity radiate a light not so easily stamped out." She proclaims, her weapon slowly rising until it was pointed directly for him. "So I would say your first mistake was trying to think in the first place." An insult?
  747.
  748. She disregarded the Vampire questions, poor Rella.. she got this a lot.
  749.
  750. She heard every word he spoke, and slowly pulling back the string an arrow of pure light forms already knocked as she prepared to fire. "That's all well and good, but let me tell you how this will go."
  751.
  752. "I'm going to make you pay. For every animal, person, and star you've ever dared harm." Her covered eye was beginning to burn, the Petrakis freezing her bow in time so the arrow wouldn't fire.. even the string freezing in place as she slowly lifted her eyepatch.
  753.
  754. Her eye, entirely milky-white, it seemed the sight she had been losing in it over the past few years had gone entirely.. the flesh where her patch normally rested clearly pale from a lack of sun. It wouldn't be the here and now that eye perceived, it would be the future.
  755.
  756. What would happen if they failed, what would happen with each step she could possibly make.. It made her head hurt, so many timelines with an infinite number of results all pouring themselves into her Geist-fueled vison.
  757.
  758. Bright golden energies quickly consumed the orb in their glow, concealing it further as her star place it's hold upon it entirely. "Know you stand beneath the gaze of Geist, and you will be judged by their light as well as my own."
  759. (Elaine ras Petrakis)
  760. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  761.
  762. [18:28] Seemed like the two of them had a similar approach to this. As Elaine spoke, Rella's gaze steadily trailed from the unknown cultist towards her.
  763.
  764. It was all very dramatic. But there was something that was bugging her.
  765.
  766. "Uh... y'know we're not on Agartha, right? Like - like, you're aware of that?"
  767.
  768. She taps the tips of her fingers together, feeling like she was wasting her time even mentioning such.
  769.
  770. "...Anyway! I'll just assume you're a threat worth shooting, and save the Witch for later. Don't worry."
  771. (Rella Caller)
  772. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  773.
  774. [18:32] {NARRATION} "What do you mean we're not on Agartha...?"
  775.
  776. A single tilt of his head, and then the proclimation of such a thing came as the only thing that followed was a chuckle.
  777.
  778. "What year it is doesn't matter. What does matter, is that it burns and it's shards will be used for greater."
  779.
  780. "But perhaps I need to get rid of all of you small fry first."
  781. [18:44] {Won Restrained RPB against Spirit of a Knight}
  782. [18:50] {NARRATION} To think that two kids, and a vampire drakanite, was able to bring down a spirit as old as Agartha? The notion was something that was impossible, but in this damned Pandora's Boxed, they were able to do such a thing.
  783.
  784. However, not without people taking their just deserves.
  785.
  786. Wayland was shot directly in the chest by a ray of cosmic occult, only fusing together to have their circuits corrupted by the vicious amounts of occult that the Bald Man had. (4 day)
  787.
  788. Another shot was going for Elaine, and this was just to infect her with the horrible amounts of the occult that was there and ready. It was only aimed to destroy their circuits...
  789.
  790. Rella had the choice to defend one, but who?
  791. [18:52] The not-vampire doesn't hesitate. There's a look in Elaine's direction, her eyes caught the sight of the blast of the Occult aimed for her, and...
  792.
  793. She didn't hesitate. Some deeper part of her jumped to protect Elaine, a mighty beat of her feathery wings sending her into the path of the bolt.
  794.
  795. Get down.
  796. (Rella Caller)
  797. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  798.
  799. [18:56] Waylan was somewhat of a sitting duck as another blast of occult would hit his chest. The wound was getting worse the longer he remained in this place it seems like these spirits had it out for him.
  800.
  801. He'd fall down to his knees, taking a deep breath it was clear he was in a bit of pain due to the amount of occult coursing through his body.
  802.
  803. "..."
  804.
  805. He didn't have much to say, but he wondered how long they'd be in this place he couldn't take anymore wounds like that..
  806. (Waylan mer Joyau)
  807. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  808.
  809. [19:06] She did her absolute best.
  810.
  811. To see everything in advance, to process every timeline.. but she couldn't. Geist had only shown her visions in times of great stress, but never before had it seemed to latch onto her time magic and peer into the timestream itself it would seem.
  812.
  813. Alexander had said it was possible she could, that the first Petrakis to be blessed had been able to do so.
  814.
  815. Yet even if she was capable of replicating such a feat, she wasn't doing it now. It was untrained, unfocused, and as a result..? It was overwhelming, every choice made by everyone involved changed what she was seeing to hundreds of different pathways a second..
  816.
  817. And so when the shot came..?
  818.
  819. She was unsure if it was the proper timeline or not, she couldn't tell what was real and what wasn't..
  820.
  821. She couldn't focus.
  822.
  823. Rella knocked her down, that shot taking her friend as it's victim instead.. the Princess shrieking as she did so, as though she had been the one to take the damage all the same.
  824.
  825. She pushes herself to her feet, a single deep breath taken as she draws back the string and takes aim. "..It's taken you a long while, but your time has come." Her temporal magics flare to an extreme degree, even more intensely than when she was treating the bear, she took hold of the visions she saw.
  826.
  827. She guided them, using her emotions to see exactly what lines she wanted to see.
  828.
  829. Then she released the shimmering arrow, and yet.. it didn't behave as an arrow would.
  830.
  831. It split over a dozen times, heading in seemingly random directions, but for Elaine..? They went exactly where she wanted, having seen every possible method for him to escape her shot, she fired an lethal and perfectly timed shot for where he would be if he took that route.
  832.
  833. No matter what, one would pierce his heart.
  834.
  835. "Checkmate." She states, running towards her friends.. lookingthem both over before settling next to Rella. "Youshouldn'thavedonethatpleasebeokay." She states in a super fast rush of words as she tries to look her over, afraid to use her magics to try and heal her.
  836. (Elaine ras Petrakis)
  837. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  838.
  839. [19:09] {NARRATION} Shot through the heart, and Elaine was to blame for all of this. Surely, this was a checkmate.
  840.
  841. As the necklace of his seemed to fly off, it would land in the hands of Waland as he only had a few words to say.
  842.
  843. "Curses... curses... CURSES!"
  844.
  845. There was only a few things left to say, but he died with a smile on his face. There were questions left unsaid, answers left unspoken, but there you go- a necklace and a key to get out of here that was full of cosmic power.
  846.
  847. "Bastard... Petrakis."
  848. [19:09] {Item} You picked up Neckalce of The Constellation. Dropped by Spirit of a Knight..
  849. [19:13] Waylan managed to look up in time and managed to catch the necklace. What was this? After examining it briefly he felt somewhat better, a smile formed across his face.
  850.
  851. "Worth.."
  852.
  853. He said under his breath as he managed to pull himself to his feet. He'd put the necklace around his neck and move close towards the others.
  854.
  855. Where would there adventure take them next?
  856. (Waylan mer Joyau)
  857. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  858.
  859. [19:13] {NARRATION} The next phrase of getting out of here resides in the necklace.
  860.
  861. It was an old relic that held so, so much power to explode them all to sky high and back to the /real/ world as some would call it.
  862.
  863. The question, however, was how would Waylan be able to infuse so much power into it that it would explode all of them out of the Box to face the WITCH?
  864. [19:15] She wasn't sure how they were supposed to get out of here.. not at all, looking around it wasn't going to be easy.. But the priest had said all they needed to hear, in truth.
  865.
  866. Looking around, there was nothing else but the necklace, but how would he have used that to escape?
  867.
  868. "..That thing has something to do with it." She gestures towards it, looking around once more.. for anything that could help.
  869. (Elaine ras Petrakis)
  870. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  871.
  872. [19:21] Eventually, injury not yet accounted for, Rella rises back to her feet. Her stance is more unsteady looking than it was previously, but fuck she's trying.
  873.
  874. One hand moves to the side of her head, attempting to brace herself.
  875.
  876. "Fuck."
  877. (Rella Caller)
  878. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  879.
  880. [19:24] The Princess slowly approaches, not wanting to be trapped here for eternity because Waylan's wounds reduced him to a near catatonic state she would walk over and yoink the necklace from his hands for a moment.
  881.
  882. Channeling her connection to Geist to tap into the stored Celestial power, and her Holy magic to pierce the Occult.. She aims it towards the false-sky.
  883.
  884. "RELEASE US!" Would it work..? She launches all of the energy upwards.
  885. (Elaine ras Petrakis)
  886. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  887.
  888. [19:25] {NARRATION} The screams was enough to have the chest opened, and once it was opened, they were free to get out by the extreimities of the power of the chest being open, and staying open.
  889.
  890. One by one, they all awaken at the basement of Medea, and it was clear that only one more thing was needed for all of this to come to a very, satisfied end.
  891.
  892. To burn the witch.
  893.
  894. ...
  895.
  896. However, that door had to be opened someone. They had the key to do it within that neckalce. What will they do now?
  897. [19:27] They burst free, all of them slowly rising to their feet once more.. and it seemed Waylan hadn't woken yet either. Helping Rella up, she would look to the top of those stairs.
  898.
  899. "..Let's finish this." She would state, the Princess pointing that necklace at the rune on the door and repeating a similar process as they had done to escape the chest.
  900.
  901. "MEDEA!" She shrieked, announcing their presence as she hoped the door would dramatically burst from the hinges.. that would be cool.
  902. (Elaine ras Petrakis)
  903. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  904.
  905. [19:30] And, in turn, Rella approaches alongside Elaine, wings spread - it's a wonder she fits through the doorway without any issue. Her gun is still aimed high, ready whenever.
  906.
  907. "Next shot's straight from Atmos, Witch."
  908.
  909. ...Maybe not straight from Atmos, but that sounds cooler.
  910. (Rella Caller)
  911. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  912.
  913. [19:31] {NARRATION} They probably should've shut the chest, but all that matters now is Medea.
  914.
  915. As the witch turns to them, the fist thing that comes is horror and fear that they would have even survived from it.
  916.
  917. "Oh... my dears... you're back. Did you find what is needed?"
  918.
  919. There was clear fear as the witch was starting to take steps back.
  920.
  921. "I- why are you angry?"
  922. [19:35] "You're a Witch, a soul-sold monster, and I saw what you trapped in there." She levels her bow, prepared to fire already. "..I saw the note, I know what you've done." An arrow already forming.
  923.
  924. "It's time you are sent to your Dark Lord." Alexander had been tricked by Witches, but she wouldn't be. She would prepare to let loose, ready to begone from this place.
  925. (Elaine ras Petrakis)
  926. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  927.
  928. [19:36] Spirit of a Knight exclaims, "So be it... you'll all perish!"
  929. [19:48] {Won Dangerous RPB against Medea Autumn}
  930. [19:57] They were so close to being out of the Witch's grasp. Hell - if they'd played their cards right, the trio probably could've just left. Said their goodbyes, and leave Medea to her...
  931.
  932. Whatever exactly the hell her game was, here.
  933.
  934. But no. They had a loose end to tie up. Arrows, slashes, lightning. Cosmic light and holy light burst towards the Witch, with the lone Occultist providing a very hollow underline.
  935.
  936. Another heavy beat of Rella's wings shoved her forward, tackling Medea to the floor. Her left hand clasped at the witch's neck, right over that conspicuous tattoo...
  937.
  938. And there, her nails dug in. An absolute flood of the Occult - her empty form of it, anyway - worked its way through the woman's circuitry, seeking out the corruption wherever it could. It choked every bit of tainted energy it could, stealing their purpose and motivation, rendering them dull and empty.
  939.
  940. Or so it tried, anyway. Everything that drove her, forced out.
  941. (Rella Caller)
  942. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  943.
  944. [19:58] The fight with the Witch was excessively tough, the Princess pushing with everything she had left after that fight with the Cosmic priest. Though this was worse.. much worse.
  945.
  946. All of them pushing forward with everything they have, it would finally be Rella who felled the evil thing.. Sending her back to the thing she had sold herself to..
  947.
  948. Finally over she sighs, taking the time to take a deep breath and let it out. "Finally.."
  949. (Elaine ras Petrakis)
  950. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  951.
  952. [19:58] Rella is basically trying to turn her into a husk, for the record. Maybe she just explodes instead.
  953. (Rella Caller)
  954. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  955.
  956. [19:59] Waylan probably avoid any serious injury this time, but his luck today wasn't great. He'd fall to the ground in an attempt to catch his breath "Thank goodness!" he shouted; hopefully nothing else tried to come out at them he was literally pooped from these battles.
  957. (Waylan mer Joyau)
  958. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  959.
  960. [19:59] * You have been awarded 2 Roleplay Points! *
  961. [19:59] {NARRATION} The witch was burned in the occult, having her entire body churned and exposed to such a thing without much of any real question and leaving nothing but a vial to remain.
  962.
  963. As it falls over, it rolled over towards Elaine, leaving nothing more than a single letter around it that really did say.
  964.
  965. 'Cooties Cure'.
  966.
  967. A lot to be expected from such a thing, but the death of the witch left one more thing undone, Pandoras Box was open, and now they may have to deal with something that was more dangerous to handle.
  968.
  969. The Followers of Mister Bald have now ran
